Chapter 10 of the book "Moral Conflicts of Organ Retrieval: A Case for Constructive Pluralism," is presented. It discusses a form of moral residue deemed the regulative principle or the requirement to avoid conflicts or dilemmas even if one reject the idea that dilemmas exist in previously defined sense. The chapter explores the application of this moral residue in organ retrieval and proposes an emended version that say values should give reasons to make adjustment to avoid conflicts or to alleviate the moral fallout resulting from conflicts.
