Chapter 6 of the book "The Dystonia Patient: A Guide to Practical Management" is presented. It focuses on the role of the physical therapist (PT) in conducting theraphy management strategies on dystonia patients. According to the authors, PTs can create a foundation to maintain and improve daily function for patients by employing various treatments such as therapeutic exercises and postural training. Further, PTs can help patients recognize movements that may have developed as a result of the dystonia.
