The article focuses on the tools required to ensure implementation of national children's environment health action plans (CEHAP) which include setting priorities and building partnerships. The relevance and effectiveness of advocacy and of information, education and communication (IEC) and how they help to ensure that member states will be able easily to adapt Children's Environment Health Action Plan for Europe (CEHAPE) to their particular needs are described.

A chapter of the book "Danish Council of Ethics Annual Report" is presented. It presents information on the Danish Council of Ethic's most important political and biotechnical partners. The Danish Minister for the Interior and Health appoints four members of the council and vests all members with authority. The Parliamentary Committee on the Danish Council of Ethics appoints nine of the council's members and keeps updates of activities through committee meetings.

The article offers information about the Botswana national treatment initiative which is called Masa. The said initiative has been supported by the African Comprehensive HIV/AIDS Partnership, which involves the Government of Botswana, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and the Merck Co. foundation. By early 2004, the Masa was the largest government HIV treatment program in Africa.
