- Abstract
We report NMR-PFGSE self-diffusion coefficient measurements of long cylindrical reverse micelles in ternary system lecithin/cyclohexane/water. 1H-NMR linewidth values of the trimethylammonium signal, as a function of W0, at different temperatures and lecithin concentrations, were also determined. The measured water self-diffusion coefficients, $$D_{H_2 O}$$ , show a strong dependence on W0. Both $$D_{H_2 O}$$ and Dlec (lecithin self-diffusion) exhibit a characteristic dependence on the experimental time scale. An attempt to rationalize the data obtained in terms of different motional regimes is reported. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
