This paper was studied to deal with the evaluation of cognitive domain toward the modern bamboo chair from Pai Tong (Dendrocalamus asper Backer) in size, physical and shape. From the related data, the study was constructed for modern bamboo chair and compared to the culture bamboo chair. Sixty people were randomly selected from King Mongkut's Institute of Technology North Bangkok, Thailand to test for using satisfaction. The result found that the modern bamboo chair is appropriated better than the old one. The width, height and depth, and the slide of the back of the modern bamboo chair are appropriated more than 40.00%, 26.67%, and 26.67%, respectively. The various positions of the body found that the new chair is not convenience in 8 dimensions of the body. Therefore, the modern bamboo chair is appropriated shape for use and replacing to the old one. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
