The dilemma of water in the Jordan River Basin, as an element of conflict and a factor for cooperation, continues to occupy researchers and professional water experts in the region and globally. The sheer severity of the water crisis, the stagnation in water negotiations, the general deterioration of the political situation in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, the lack of cooperation by Israeli water institutions and the weakness of the Palestinian water institutions are all factors that dampen aspirations for finding acceptable solutions to this seemingly endless problem. Given that water is a fundamental component of human life, this conflict has clear social and economic implications for the welfare of Palestinians. It also has legal consequences that manifest themselves in the continued violations of Palestinian rights in equitable utilization of the shared resources. While the picture is certainly gloomy, a few genuine efforts to put an end to this dilemma are quite noteworthy. From the point of view of this paper, prodigious collective efforts are needed for initiatives to bear fruit. Piecemeal approaches are no longer viable, and there exists the pressing need to find a more holistic and integrated approach. The main pillars for this approach are confidence and trust among the parties. Once these are in place, a common vision for long-term involvement and commitment to resolve the conflict can be put in place and further operationalized. The purpose of the present research is to identify, analyze and simulate dynamics of interaction and conflicts among agents using drama theory, and to apply it in Citarum river basin problem. To accomplish the purpose, we first model the process in terms of drama theory that is combined with emotional state model (PAD). One of the reasons why we adopt drama theory is that it primarily focuses on dilemma or paradox arising from rational goal seeking behavior. It also provides us with rigorous analytical and computational tools of conflict analysis.Then, we propose a simulation model to describe both of dilemma of conflict, i.e., persuasion and rejection dilemma among the agents, and the dilemma of collaboration (trust dilemma) among the agents. While communal coping can help families foster resilience against stress, this chapter examines the dilemmas that can be created when family members cope communally with divorce stressors. The dilemmas were drawn from group and individual interviews that were conducted with 60 custodial parents and one of their adolescent children. The chapter illustrates how parents can sometimes misdirect their stress onto their children, who, in turn, can either reject responsibility for the stressor or assume varying levels of responsibility for it. Often this displacement of the parent's stress makes it difficult for children to cope with the divorce. When parents directly or indirectly ask their children to assume joint ownership of a stressor that is better managed alone, it can produce parentification, inappropriate protective buffering, anxiety, and stress. This article looks briefly at modernist notions of power and empowerment, and examine the issues which make these problematic.
