A biography of Pavel Aleksandrovich Florensky, a priest, philosopher, historian, mathematician and scholar of the Russian Silver Age, is presented. Florensky was born on January 9, 1882 in Azerbaidjan and attended Moscow University. He also received the degree of Master of Technology from the Moscow Theological Seminary. After the October Revolution, he became interested in the visual arts. Florensky was devoted to both science and religion. He was executed by firing squad on December 8, 1927 at Levashovo, near Leningrad, Soviet Union.
