One of the earliest reports on synchronization of inert systems dates back to the time of the Dutch scientist Christiaan Huygens, who discovered that a pair of pendulum clocks coupled through a wooden bar oscillate in harmony. A remarkable feature in Huygens' experiment is that different synchronous behaviors may be observed by just changing a parameter in the coupling. Motivated by this, in this paper, we propose a novel synchronization scheme for chaotic oscillators, in which the design of the coupling is inspired in Huygens' experiment. It is demonstrated that the coupled oscillators may exhibit not only complete synchronization, but also mixed synchronization—some states synchronize in anti-phase whereas other states synchronize in-phase—depending on a single parameter of the coupling. Additionally, the stability of the synchronous solution is investigated by using the master stability function approach and the largest transverse Lyapunov exponent. The Lorenz system is considered as particular application example, and the performance of the proposed synchronization scheme is illustrated with computer simulations and validated by means of experiments using electronic circuits. We report the appearance of supertransient chaos in a single and two-coupled Liénard system with the influence of external periodic force. The existence of transient dynamics in a model is significantly long before it settles into the asymptotic steady state of periodic dynamics understood as supertransient chaos. The two diffusively coupled forced Liénard systems exhibit extremely long transient dynamics when their frequencies of the external forcing are slightly mismatched. Additionally, the coupled system signifies supertransient hyperchaotic dynamics for a specific set of system parameters. The evolution of splenomegaly in patients with liver cirrhosis remains largely unknown. In this study, we followed the changes in splenic volume and established the natural course of splenomegaly. We developed an electronic circuit that simulated splenoportal circulation and identified the underlying hemodynamic mechanisms. This retrospective observational study included 93 patients with cirrhosis. Splenic volumes were measured in imaging studies at 6-month intervals and normalized by the ratio of each patient's maximum volume during follow-up (%Vmax). An electronic simulation model was constructed using software and realized on a breadboard. Overall, the %Vmax increased from 0.77 ​± ​0.21 to a maximum of 1.00 ​± ​0.00 (p ​< ​0.001) during a median follow-up of 23 (3–162) months and then decreased to 0.84 ​± ​0.18 (p ​< ​0.001) during the next 9 (3–132) months. No interventional radiology procedure was performed to improve hepatic fibrosis and portal hypertension. The evolution of %Vmax showed single-peaked symmetry. An electronic simulation model showed that the upslope of the evolution curve was dependent on the increased intrahepatic vascular resistance and portal hypertension, whereas the downslope was dependent on the decreased portosystemic shunt (PSS) resistance. Splenomegaly in cirrhotic patients aggravated over a period of 23 months and then regressed spontaneously to its initial volume. Electronic simulation of splenoportal circulation showed that splenic enlargement was due to the advancement of liver cirrhosis and portal hypertension, whereas its regression was due to the development of a PSS. The newly proposed memristor-based chaotic system has line equilibrium points, so the corresponding attractor belongs to a hidden attractor. By using typical nonlinear analysis tools, the complicated dynamical behaviors of the new system are explored, which reveals many interesting phenomena, including extreme homogeneous and heterogeneous multistabilities, hidden transient state and state transition behavior, and offset-boosting control. Meanwhile, the unstable periodic orbits embedded in the hidden chaotic attractor were calculated by the variational method, and the corresponding pruning rules were summarized. Furthermore, the analog and DSP circuit implementation illustrates the flexibility of the proposed memristic system. The integration of the Arduino board into educational settings has penetrated across various educational levels. The teaching of this subject can be accomplished by (a) using real components in breadboards, (b) prefabricated modular boards that snap together, and (c) utilizing computer simulations. Yet, it is unknown which interface offers a more effective learning experience. Therefore, this experimental study aims to compare the effectiveness of these interfaces in a series of three laboratory exercises involving 110 university students, who were divided into three groups: (a) the first group used a tangible user interface, implementing circuits on breadboards, (b) the second group also used a tangible interface but with modular boards, and (c) the third group used a graphical user interface to simulate circuits using Tinkercad. For each laboratory exercise, students completed both pretests and posttests. Also, they provided feedback through five Likert-type attitude questions regarding their experiences. In terms of data analysis, t-tests, ANOVA, and ANCOVA, along with bootstrapping, and principal component analysis were employed. The results suggest that among the participants, those who used a graphical user interface stated that their understanding of the interconnection of components in microcontroller circuits was enhanced, while students with previous experience in microcontroller labs found the circuit creation process easier than students without experience. A hyperjerk system pertains to a dynamical system regulated by an ordinary differential equation of $n$ th order, where $n \geq 4$ . The main contribution of this work is the finding of a new autonomous hyperjerk system with a half line equilibrium. The mathematical framework of the proposed hyperjerk system contains eight terms with an absolute function nonlinearity. The essential dynamic characteristics of the model are explored, encompassing analysis of equilibrium points and their stability, depiction of the phase trajectories, illustration of bifurcation patterns, and visualization of Lyapunov exponent graphs. Our finding shows that the new 4D hyperjerk system exhibits special behavior like multistability, period doubling reversals and antimonotonocity. The proposed hyperjerk system has been implemented with an electronic circuit using MultiSim 14.0. Moreover, the FPGA implementation of the proposed hyperjerk system is performed by applying two numerical methods: Forward Euler and Trapezoidal. Experimental attractors are given from an oscilloscope by using the Zybo Z7-20 FPGA development board, which are in good agreement with the MATLAB and MultiSim 14.0 simulations. Finally, based on the chaotic dynamical behavior of the proposed chaotic hyperjerk system, a new image encryption approach is proposed. The experimental outcomes of the presented encryption algorithm prove its efficiency and security.

A detailed study of the gas-dynamic behaviour of both liquid and gas flows is urgently required for a variety of technical and process design applications. This article provides an overview of the application and an improvement to thermal anemometry methods and tools. The principle and advantages of a hot-wire anemometer operating according to the constant-temperature method are described. An original electronic circuit for a constant-temperature hot-wire anemometer with a filament protection unit is proposed for measuring the instantaneous velocity values of both stationary and pulsating gas flows in pipelines. The filament protection unit increases the measuring system's reliability. The designs of the hot-wire anemometer and filament sensor are described. Based on development tests, the correct functioning of the measuring system was confirmed, and the main technical specifications (the time constant and calibration curve) were determined. A measuring system for determining instantaneous gas flow velocity values with a time constant from 0.5 to 3.0 ms and a relative uncertainty of 5.1% is proposed. Based on pilot studies of stationary and pulsating gas flows in different gas-dynamic systems (a straight pipeline, a curved channel, a system with a poppet valve or a damper, and the external influence on the flow), the applications of the hot-wire anemometer and sensor are identified. Interest in studies on fractional calculus and its applications has greatly increased in recent years. Fractional-order analysis has the potential to enhance the dynamic structure of chaotic systems. This study presents the implementation of a lower-order fractional electronic circuit using standard components for the Sprott K system. To our knowledge, there are no chaotic circuit realizations in the literature where the value of a fractional-order parameter is approximately 0.8, making this study pioneering in this aspect. Additionally, various numerical analyses of the system are conducted, including chaotic time series and phase planes, Lyapunov exponents, spectral entropy (SE), and bifurcation diagrams, in order to examine its dynamic characteristics and complexity. This paper presents the design and implementation of a spherical robot with an internal mechanism based on a pendulum. The design is based on significant improvements made, including an electronics upgrade, to a previous robot prototype developed in our laboratory. Such modifications do not significantly impact its corresponding simulation model previously developed in CoppeliaSim, so it can be used with minor modifications. The robot is incorporated into a real test platform designed and built for this purpose. As part of the incorporation of the robot into the platform, software codes are made to detect its position and orientation, using the system SwisTrack, to control its position and speed. This implementation allows successful testing of control algorithms previously developed by the authors for other robots such as Villela, the Integral Proportional Controller, and Reinforcement Learning. We built the electronic equivalent circuit based on the model of a pump-modulated erbium-doped fiber laser. The model equations have two state variables, optical field intensity x and population inversion y , and a harmonic modulation applied to the pump parameter. In addition, the model contains two nonlinear terms, x y and e y. The exponential nonlinearity is implemented electronically using a power series expansion. The circuit dynamics is investigated using bifurcation, Lyapunov spectrum, and phase space analyses. Similar to the fiber laser, the equivalent electronic circuit exhibits very rich dynamics, exhibiting chaos and multiple coexisting periodic orbits. In this paper, we investigate the occurrence of superextreme spiking (SES) oscillations and multistability behavior in a memristor-based Hindmarsh–Rose neuron model. The presence of SES oscillations has been identified as arising due to the occurrence of an interior crisis. As the membrane current I(t), considered as the control parameter is varied, the system transits from bounded chaotic spiking (BCS) oscillations to SES oscillations. These transitions are captured numerically using geometrical representations like time series plots, phase portraits and inter-spikes interval return maps. The characterization of SES from the BCS oscillations is made using statistical tools such as phase shift analysis and probability density distribution function. The multistability nature has been observed using bifurcation analysis and confirmed by the Lyapunov exponents for two different sets of initial conditions. In this paper, a three-dimensional (3D) autonomous chaotic system is introduced and analyzed. In the system, each equation contains a quadratic crossproduct. The system possesses a chaotic attractor with a large chaotic region. Importantly, the system can generate both one- and two-scroll chaotic attractors by choosing appropriate parameters. Some of its basic dynamical properties, such as the Lyapunov exponents, Lyapunov dimension, Poincaré maps, bifurcation diagram, and the chaotic dynamical behavior are studied by adjusting different parameters. Further, an equivalent electronic circuit for the proposed chaotic system is designed according to Kirchhoff's Law, and a corresponding response electronic circuit is also designed for identifying the unknown parameters or monitoring the changes in the system parameters. New techniques for analyzing nonlinear and complex systems continue to be developed in order to better characterize such systems. In this study, use is made of numerical series that are generated by an experimental Duffing oscillator. Time series are converted to phase spaces using the reconstruction technique. The characteristics of three signals are compared by analyzing the phase space as networks. The Euclidean distances of the interval between the points in the time series were calculated. Then, by establishing a distance threshold between the points of the network, a proximity matrix was generated using the distances that were below the threshold. Taking into account that the network clusters are delimited by a threshold, a statistical study was performed of the cluster compositions. This explored, principally, the analysis of the shortest path between two points of the network, indicating the differences between the signals and the relevance of the density of points in the phase space in these analyses. This paper announces a novel three-dimensional chaotic system with line equilibrium and discusses its dynamic properties such as Lyapunov exponents, phase portraits, equilibrium points, bifurcation diagram, multistability and coexisting attractors. New synchronization results based on integral sliding mode control (ISMC) are also derived for the new chaotic system with line equilibrium. In addition, an electronic circuit implementation of the new chaotic system with line equilibrium is reported and a good qualitative agreement is exhibited between the MATLAB simulations of the theoretical model and the MultiSim results. We also display the implementation of the Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) based Pseudo-Random Number Generator (PRNG) by using the new chaotic system. The throughput of the proposed FPGA based new chaotic PRNG is 462.731 Mbps. Randomness analysis of the generated numbers has been performed with respect to the NIST-800-22 tests and they have successfully passed all of the tests. Finally, an image encryption algorithm based on the pixel-level scrambling, bit-level scrambling, and pixel value diffusion is proposed. The experimental results show that the encryption algorithm not only shuffles the pixel positions of the image, but also replaces the pixel values with different values, which can effectively resist various attacks such as brute force attack and differential attack.

This paper represents a sequential design of controlling from a 3D chaotic system to a simple 6D hyperchaotic system by adding three linear controllers via state feedback control and coupling strategies. The new 6D system has a unique non-hyperbolic equilibrium point with four positive Lyapunov exponents (LE). Moreover, some dynamic properties are analyzed which inclined equilibrium and their stability, dissipative, conservative, and multistability. In addition, the corresponding analog electronic circuit is designed and implemented to verify the new simple 6D hyperchaotic system. Finally, the NI Multisim simulation results observed from the digital oscilloscope are consistent with the mathematical simulation based on the Matlab R2021a.

Following the experimental realization of memristors, researchers have focused on memristor-based circuits. Chaotic circuits can be implemented easily using a memristor due to its nonvolatile and nonlinear behavior. This study presents a memristor-based four-dimensional (4D) chaotic oscillator with a line equilibria. A memristor having quadratic memductance was utilized to implement the proposed chaotic oscillator. The 4D chaotic oscillator with quartic nonlinearity was designed as a result of the quadratic memductance. In terms of communication security, random number generation and image and audio encryption, systems with quartic nonlinearity or that are higher-dimensional are better than systems that are lower-dimensional or possess quadratic/cubic nonlinearity. The performance of the proposed chaotic circuit was investigated according to properties such as phase portraits, Jacobian matrices, equilibrium points, Lyapunov exponents and bifurcation analyses. Furthermore, the proposed system is multistable and its solutions tend to appear as twin attractors when initial conditions approach their equilibria. The Lyapunov-based nonlinear controller was constructed for controlling the proposed system having a line equilibria. The effect of the initial conditions on the controlling indicators was also studied. In conclusion, by using discrete circuit elements, the proposed circuit was constructed, and its experimental results demonstrated a good agreement with the simulation results. Brownian motion is a dynamic behavior with random changes over time (stochastic) that occurs in many vital functions related to fluid environments, stock behavior, or even renewable energy generation. In this paper, we present a circuit implementation that reproduces Brownian motion based on a fully deterministic set of differential equations. The dynamics of the electronic circuit are characterized using four well-known metrics of Brownian motion, namely: (i) Detrended Fluctuation Analysis (DFA), (ii) power law in the power spectrum, (iii) normal probability distribution, and (iv) Mean Square Displacement (MSD); where traditional Brownian motion exhibits linear time growth of the MSD, a Gaussian distribution, a − 2 power law of the frequency spectrum, and DFA values close to 1.5 . The obtained results show that for a certain combination of values in the deterministic model, the dynamics in the electronic circuit are consistent with the expectations for a stochastic Brownian behavior. The presented electronic circuit improves the study of Brownian behavior by eliminating the stochastic component, allowing reproducibility of the results through fully deterministic equations, and enabling the generation of physical signals (analog electronic signals) with Brownian-like properties with potential applications in fields such as medicine, economics, genetics, and communications, to name a few. The memristor is the fourth fundamental element in the electronic circuit field, whose memory and resistance properties make it unique. Although there are no electronic solutions based on the memristor, interest in application development has increased significantly. Nevertheless, there are only numerical Matlab or Spice models that can be used for simulating memristor systems, and designing is limited to using memristor emulators only. A memristor emulator is an electronic circuit that mimics a memristor. In this way, a research approach is to build discrete-component emulators of memristors for its study without using the actual models. In this work, two reconfigurable hardware architectures have been proposed for use in the prototyping of a non-linearity memristor emulator: the FPAA (Field Programing Analog Arrays) and the FPGA (Field Programming Gate Array). The easy programming and reprogramming of the first architecture and the performance, high area density, and parallelism of the second one allow the implementation of this type of system. In addition, a detailed comparison is shown to underline the main differences between the two approaches. Abstract In this article we examine the dynamical properties of the fractional version of the snap system by means of chaotic attractor, existence, and uniqueness of the solution, symmetry, dissipativity, stagnation point analysis, Lyapunov dynamics, K.Y. dimension, bifurcation diagram, etc. Also, parallel systems to this system are synchronized in presence of uncertainties and external disturbances using triple compound combination anti-synchronization by two ways. Synchronization time is compared with some other works. Also the utilization of achieved synchronization is illustrated in secure transmission. By constructing the snap system’s signal flow graph and its real electronic circuit, some of its additional invariants are investigated.

Hidden attractors are associated with multistability phenomena, which have considerable application prospects in engineering. By modifying a simple three-dimensional continuous quadratic dynamical system, this paper reports a new autonomous chaotic system with two stable node-foci that can generate double-wing hidden chaotic attractors. We discuss the rich dynamics of the proposed system, which have some interesting characteristics for different parameters and initial conditions, through the use of dynamic analysis tools such as the phase portrait, Lyapunov exponent spectrum, and bifurcation diagram. The topological classification of the periodic orbits of the system is investigated by a recently devised variational method. Symbolic dynamics of four and six letters are successfully established under two sets of system parameters, including hidden and self-excited chaotic attractors. Modelling of population dynamics of epidemic diseases is crucial in developing effective strategies for curbing the diseases. It helps us identify the various parameters that can help control the epidemic if the modelling is done carefully. Physical modelling of the dynamics in the form of circuits and systems can augment the understanding of disease mechanisms. In this paper, we develop two electronic circuit models for realizing the dynamics of two compartmental models widely used in epidemiological studies. These models are important in the context of the current, rampant COVID-19 global pandemic. This innovative study will no doubt pave the way for developing electronic circuits and analog processing systems that can simulate the dynamics of more complex population models. In this paper, a three-dimensional (3D) autonomous chaotic system is introduced and analyzed. In the system, each equation contains a quadratic crossproduct. The system possesses a chaotic attractor with a large chaotic region. Importantly, the system can generate both one- and two-scroll chaotic attractors by choosing appropriate parameters. Some of its basic dynamical properties, such as the Lyapunov exponents, Lyapunov dimension, Poincaré maps, bifurcation diagram, and the chaotic dynamical behavior are studied by adjusting different parameters. Further, an equivalent electronic circuit for the proposed chaotic system is designed according to Kirchhoff’s Law, and a corresponding response electronic circuit is also designed for identifying the unknown parameters or monitoring the changes in the system parameters. Moreover, numerical simulations are presented to perform and complement the theoretical results.

In this work, powders of NiSb2O6 were synthesized using a simple and economical microwave-assisted wet chemistry method, and calcined at 700, 800, and 900 °C. It was identified through X-ray diffraction that the oxide is a nanomaterial with a trirutile-type structure and space group P42/mnm (136). UV–Vis spectroscopy measurements showed that the bandgap values were at ~3.10, ~3.14, and ~3.23 eV at 700, 800, and 900 °C, respectively. Using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), irregularly shaped polyhedral microstructures with a size of ~154.78 nm were observed on the entire material's surface. The particle size was estimated to average ~92.30 nm at the calcination temperature of 900 °C. Sensing tests in static atmospheres containing 300 ppm of CO at 300 °C showed a maximum sensitivity of ~72.67. On the other hand, in dynamic atmospheres at different CO flows and at an operating temperature of 200 °C, changes with time in electrical resistance were recorded, showing a high response, stability, and repeatability, and good sensor efficiency during several operation cycles. The response times were ~2.77 and ~2.10 min to 150 and 200 cm3/min of CO, respectively. Dynamic tests in propane (C3H8) atmospheres revealed that the material improved its response in alternating current signals at two different frequencies (0.1 and 1 kHz). It was also observed that at 360 °C, the ability to detect propane flows increased considerably. As in the case of CO, NiSb2O6's response in propane atmospheres showed very good thermal stability, efficiency, a high capacity to detect C3H8, and short response and recovery times at both frequencies. Considering the great performance in propane flows, a sensor prototype was developed that modulates the electrical signals at 360 °C, verifying the excellent functionality of NiSb2O6. This paper announces a new three-dimensional chaotic jerk system with two saddle-focus equilibrium points and gives a dynamic analysis of the properties of the jerk system such as Lyapunov exponents, phase portraits, Kaplan-Yorke dimension and equilibrium points. By modifying the Genesio-Tesi jerk dynamics (1992), a new jerk system is derived in this research study. The new jerk model is equipped with multistability and dissipative chaos with two saddle-foci equilibrium points. By invoking backstepping technique, new results for synchronizing chaos between the proposed jerk models are successfully yielded. MultiSim software is used to implement a circuit model for the new jerk dynamics. A good qualitative agreement has been shown between the MATLAB simulations of the theoretical chaotic jerk model and the MultiSIM results. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The evolution of information technology and the great advances in artificial intelligence are leading to a level of automation that has never been reached before. A large part of this level of automation is due to the use of robotics, which in turn ends up both hindering and accelerating the process of Industry 4.0. Industry 4.0 is driven by innovative technologies that have an effect on production systems and business models. Although technologies are the driving motors of production within Industry 4.0, many production systems require collaboration between robotics and humans, and safety is required for both parties. Given the need for robots to collaborate with humans simultaneously or in parallel, a new generation of robots, called cobots, “Collaborative Robots”, are gaining prominence to face these challenges. With cobots, it is possible to overcome security barriers and envisage working safely side-by-side with humans. This paper presents the development and testing of a low-cost, within standards, 6-axis collaborative robot that can be used for educational purposes in different task-specific applications. The development of this collaborative robot involves the design and 3D printing of the structure (connections and parts), sizing and selection of circuits and/or electronic components, programming, and control. Furthermore, this study considers the development of a user interface application with the robotic arm. Thus, the application of technological solutions, as well as of the scientific and educational approaches used in the development of cobots can foster the wide implementation of Industry 4.0.

The memristor is the fourth fundamental element in the electronic circuit field, whose memory and resistance properties make it unique. Although there are no electronic solutions based on the memristor, interest in application development has increased significantly. Nevertheless, there are only numerical Matlab or Spice models that can be used for simulating memristor systems, and designing is limited to using memristor emulators only. A memristor emulator is an electronic circuit that mimics a memristor. In this way, a research approach is to build discrete-component emulators of memristors for its study without using the actual models. In this work, two reconfigurable hardware architectures have been proposed for use in the prototyping of a non-linearity memristor emulator: the FPAA (Field Programing Analog Arrays) and the FPGA (Field Programming Gate Array). The easy programming and reprogramming of the first architecture and the performance, high area density, and parallelism of the second one allow the implementation of this type of system. In addition, a detailed comparison is shown to underline the main differences between the two approaches. These platforms could be used in more complex analog and/or digital systems, such as neural networks, CNN, digital circuits, etc.

In this article we examine the dynamical properties of the fractional version of the snap system by means of chaotic attractor, existence, and uniqueness of the solution, symmetry, dissipativity, stagnation point analysis, Lyapunov dynamics, K.Y. dimension, bifurcation diagram, etc. Also, parallel systems to this system are synchronized in presence of uncertainties and external disturbances using triple compound combination anti-synchronization by two ways. Synchronization time is compared with some other works. Also the utilization of achieved synchronization is illustrated in secure transmission. Hidden attractors are associated with multistability phenomena, which have considerable application prospects in engineering. By modifying a simple three-dimensional continuous quadratic dynamical system, this paper reports a new autonomous chaotic system with two stable node-foci that can generate double-wing hidden chaotic attractors. We discuss the rich dynamics of the proposed system, which have some interesting characteristics for different parameters and initial conditions, through the use of dynamic analysis tools such as the phase portrait, Lyapunov exponent spectrum, and bifurcation diagram. The topological classification of the periodic orbits of the system is investigated by a recently devised variational method. Symbolic dynamics of four and six letters are successfully established under two sets of system parameters, including hidden and self-excited chaotic attractors. The system is implemented by a corresponding analog electronic circuit to verify its realizability.

In order to accurately detect the mass fraction of brine, we design a new type of brine mass fraction measuring instrument. In this instrument, the capacitive sensing technology is adopted to detect the change of parasitic capacitance on the metal sheet. The digital high-precision capacitance sensor can sense this weak change and convert it to 28 bits binary digital output. The data is transmitted to the high performance microprocessor STM32H743IIT6 through the interface of integrated circuit (IIC) for acquisition and processing. The quality of brine is measured by the electronic scale made of bridge pressure sensor, and the height of brine level is measured by the serial port ultrasonic ranging module. The accurate brine mass fraction is calculated by using the multi-sensor data fusion method. The experimental results show that the method can detect the brine mass fraction with an accuracy of 0 1%. In this paper, we have shown an electronic circuit equivalence of a mechanical system consisting of two oscillators coupled with each other. With the development of electronic chip technology, circuit systems become gradually high integrated and intelligent. Under the interface of complex electromagnetic field environment, the requirements for the stability and reliability of information electronic system are getting more and more urgent. The autonomous fault-tolerant capability and reliability of the circuit system are faced with new challenges in circuit design. In order to improve the anti-interference ability of circuit under bad conditions, the obtained evolutionary efficiency factor after analyses is taken as the influence factor of the algorithm, and it is introduced into the fitness function of the algorithm to improve the algorithm. The research result show that for the single point short circuit and open circuit fault simulation experiments, the average fault-free probabilities of the evolutionary algorithm based on evolutionary efficiency factor are 0.754 and 0.853, respectively; compared with the traditional evolutionary algorithm, the two probabilities increase by 16.4% and 14%, respectively; compared with the adaptive algorithm, the two probabilities increase by 6.7% and 5%, respectively. It is proved that the introduction of evolution efficiency factor can improve the robustness and fault-tolerance ability of the circuit system under the effect of interference or local damage. The research result may provide reference for the reinforcement and optimization of the improved circuit design.

The increase in the demand for electricity in the last decades has forced consumers to adopt strong rationing measures. However, these actions, often evidenced in small intuitive ways of reducing consumption, are not enough to improve energy efficiency. The user's awareness needs to be accompanied by increasingly interactive and autonomous tools that allow them to know the true dimension of the financial impact on the inadequate use of domestic electrical and electronic equipment. In this sense, a wireless electronic device capable of noninvasively acquiring signals from household mains installed in a residence was developed so that the system can identify the connected equipment in the electrical network and how much it is contributing to power consumption. After the measurement by the developed device, your performance was compared with two energy analyzers in the market where the loads were disaggregated and classified with the Pearson's correlation and using an ANN (artificial neural network). Analysis of the test results revealed that the ANN was more efficient in classifying loads, in comparison with the Pearson's method, with 91% accuracy of the device proposed in this work. The purpose of this study is to design a set of learning modules for developing the knowledge and skills of 34 students. The set includes 3 modules: Module 1: Monitoring; Module 2: Circuit Design; and Module 3: Transformer Development. The Four-D model is employed, and the study results are divided into 2 parts: 1. an evaluation of the effectiveness of the learning modules and 2. a comparison of pre-and post-test learning achievements after application of the learning modules. The modules are assessed based on standard criteria: the 80/80 rule, a t-test, and the results reveal that the post-test scores are higher than the pre-test scores, indicating that students taught using the model achieved better learning outcomes with a statistical significance of 0.05. In this work, we study a Lotka–Volterra system with delay. We carry out an analytical study from which there emerge three equilibrium points. In the absence of delay, two of these points are unstable whatever the choice of the parameters of the system, and the other one is stable according to the chosen parameters. With delay, and looking only at the point of positive coexistence, we find that it can cause not only instability, oscillations and switching stabilities, but also chaos. In addition, the analytical study revealed the phenomenon of switch stability, thus increasing the zones of instability. Time traces, phase portraits and bifurcation diagram obtained by numerical simulations complement the analytical investigations. Finally, we propose an electronic circuit with delay whose simulation presents the different phenomena observed numerically, thus validating this new electronic circuit with complex dynamics. The giant magneto‐impedance (GMI) effect has been, since its discovery, one of the most promising technologies in the development of magnetic sensors. Features such as high sensitivity, stability and low cost are the main reasons for the development of this type of magnetometers. This study reports the design, implementation and experimental characterisation of a high sensitivity GMI gradiometer, aimed at measuring low‐intensity magnetic fields. A first‐order gradiometer was designed, based on the impedance phase characteristics of two Co70Fe5Si15B10 amorphous ribbon‐shaped sensors connected to an electronic circuit that converts the magnetic field into an output voltage. The developed prototype can operate not only as gradiometer but also as two separate magnetometers, which allows it to incorporate a compensation system against deviations in the biasing field of the GMI sensors. The experimental results for the gradiometer showed a sensitivity of 99 mV/μT, a measuring range of ±30 μT, a magnetic noise of 5 nT Hz−1/2 at 5 Hz and a resolution of 40 nT within a 500 Hz bandwidth. The compensation system has shown a settling time of 1.6 s for perturbations in the range ±10 μT with a steady‐state error <0.02%. All experiments were performed in an unshielded environment. Numerous techniques for analyzing electronic circuits play a key role in the design process of any product designed for harsh environments. This article compares the design and analysis approach with the experimental verification of a real circuit for a diode-based semiconductor circuit that is part of voltage balancing systems for lithium-polymer cells for industrial applications. The purpose of the design and analysis process is a reliable solution that performs all the required functions under real operating conditions, including critical parameters that may occur during normal system operation. Preliminary circuit design is done using ideal components. Using the truth table as a representation of the requirements, the correctness of the system's operation was checked. LTSpice was used as the main program for designing and testing analog and mixed integrated circuits. Based on the system requirements, real components are selected, followed by the worst case analysis that takes into account tolerances, noise, mains voltage disturbances, temperature and aging. Foster and Cauer thermal models were created for components exposed to thermal stress. After a successful WCA analysis, a security analysis is carried out that predicts possible defects and their impact on the entire project due to problems during system production and operation. The WCA results were compared with experimental measurement of a real system that was subjected to a high temperature in a thermal chamber that simulates the work of the system after 10 years.
