Introduction: one of the objectives of university extension is to promote cultural development among the different social sectors of the community, focused on socio-humanistic education, and it can play an important role in the sexual education of adolescents through art. Objective: to analyze from several updated bibliographic sources the role played by art assumed from university extension in the sexual education of adolescents. Methods: a review of bibliographic sources was carried out in SciELO, Dialnet and Google Scholar, with the use of keywords: art, university extension, sexual education and adolescents. Scientific articles, undergraduate and master's theses were selected to achieve relevance in the study conducted. Development: the role of art from university extension in the sexual education of adolescents was evaluated conceptually, and the most relevant research was analyzed according to the author, year and type of publication or study carried out. The bibliographic review made it possible to establish criteria and the main regularities in relation to the subject. Conclusions:the review of publications made it possible to confirm the positive effects of art in the sexual education of adolescents from the university extension. This new learning scenario is still a challenge for teachers and researchers to understand.

The theoretical foundations of sexuality study allows us to delve deeper into the processes associated with sexuality education in adolescents and young people in current Cuban society, influenced by the effects of new information technologies. The objective of this research is to analyze the theoretical references for the design of a psychoeducational strategy aimed at preventing the consumption, production and reproduction of pornography in nursing students. A bibliographic review was carried out, from the Eusebio Rubio's Holon Model references, of the Psychological Sciences’ theoretical assumptions; with the educational teaching process contributions of the Psychology subject. The integration of the holistic model and psychological sciences was of great value for the approach of a psychoeducational strategy aimed at the prevention of consumption, production and reproduction of pornography by university students; scientifically based, applicable for the education and promotion of responsible sexuality.

This paper analyses one particular experience of Human Rights Education at the university environment: the "Seminar on Justice and Human Rights" at the National University of Lanús, Buenos Aires, Argentina. The course is compulsory and cross-cutting for students taking undergraduate and undergraduate degree courses at that institution. The general objective of this research was to find out how cis women, cis men and the LGBTIQ+ community experienced this type of training spaces. The analysis was carried out from the perspective of the participants, especially the students, which is a fundamental and understudied approach in this field. The methodology used was mixed: both, 1703 student surveys conducted in the period 2017-2022 and three semi-structured interviews with teachers during 2023, were analysed. Among the main results, it was observed that the cis-male group showed less interest in gender issues and in the fact that there is this type of compulsory education at the university environment, compared to the other groups. In addition, it was noted that the different groups are questioned differently, depending on the topic in question. Finally, the article ends with some reflections on masculinities in the processes of Human Rights Education at university. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Foundation: infertility is a health problem that affects both sexes with increasing incidence. Endometriosis is one of the most common gynecological conditions and one of the main causes of female infertility. Objective: determine the knowledge about chronic endometritis that women in the canton of Ambato, Ecuador, have. Methods: a descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out in women with chronic endometritis, belonging to the canton of Ambato, during the period from July to December 2022. The sample was 30 patients selected through non-probabilistic snowball sampling. A thematic content analysis was carried out and the Fuzzy Cognitive Maps method was used. To collect the information, a semi-structured interview was carried out. Results: there was a predominance of patients between 26 and 30 years of age. 76,7 % of the patients reported not having knowledge on the subject, 86,7 % had not received formal sexual and reproductive education and 70 % had been stigmatized. 83,3 % of the women reported not periodically visiting a reproductive health professional and 76,7 % had not accessed information on the subject. 100 % of the patients considered it necessary to hold workshops, talks and carry out community interventions to raise awareness about the impact of chronic endometritis on female fertility. Conclusions: chronic endometritis was present in women of reproductive age, so it is necessary to develop health prevention strategies to minimize its incidence.

Objective: to describe actions and knowledge of the nursing team on the prevention and diagnosis of HIV/Aids in elderly people in Primary Care. Method: qualitative and descriptive study, based on the concepts of professional practice and welcoming when guiding people with HIV, together with professionals from the nursing team of a Primary Health Care Unit in a metropolitan region in the North of Brazil, in the second half of 2022. Collection took place depending on the participant's availability, through face-to-face interviews or technological resources via Google Forms, consisting of open questions. Content analysis was used for the analysis. Results: health education is not aimed at the elderly people, as there are inaccuracies regarding continuing education, which has proved to be deficient due to the lack of training on the sexuality and libido of the elderly population. Rapid tests are the responsibility of nurses, and the provision of condoms for the elderly patients is "non-existent". Finally, they describe the importance of partner search, referral and notification of positive cases. Conclusion: the team recognizes the invisibility of health actions and education for the elderly people. Thus, one should highlight the need for training and ongoing education to create bonds with the elderly patients and to a better approach to the topic of sexuality for the prevention and diagnosis of HIV. The article addresses the relationship between education and family planning during the first child's pregnancy to identify the educational impact on family planning. The research is exploratorydescriptive, with a quantitative, cross-sectional approach. From 2014 to 2019, data was collected using a validated research instrument, Parenting Planning in the Context of Bioethics; the data is presented in four tables. In total, 1608 questionnaires related to the first child's pregnancy were answered. The research was conducted in the State of Paraná, in religious, educational, and social institutions. As for the results, those who had completed college presented a percentage of 63.5% of planning their first child's pregnancy, while those who had not studied presented 25.2%. What can be noticed, and this is the highlight of the research, is that the family planning indices are higher when the participants have completed a study cycle: 4th grade, high school, and college, in relation to pregnancies that occurred during school periods. Thus, it is concluded that formal education significantly impacts family planning, especially since pregnancies that occurred while people were in the study phase had lower rates of family planning than pregnancies that occurred when people had already completed their studies. Objective: to characterize sexual initiation and sexual risk behaviors that accompany the exercise of sexuality among young people between 15 and 29 years of age in Chile. Methodology: with the results of the Tenth National Youth Survey in Chile, through an inferential statistical analysis and the application of logistic regression models, the main descriptors of sexual initiation are profiled, with emphasis on precocity, formality, and preventive behaviour. Results: according to the data, young men and women initiate sexually at early ages, however, they privilege the formality of the bond and there is a greater presence of preventive behaviour compared to the last decade. Conclusions: the importance of developing socio-educational interventions aimed at modifying risky sexual behaviors, intervening mainly on young people's attitudes towards prevention, is emphasized. Debates around sexual and integral education have been a topic of controversy. Ideas about what could be taught in schools and who has the right to teach on this subject are maintained in spaces of constant discussion, while the State develops public policies that try to solve the problems that arise within educational establishments. One of the situations in which this tension can be evident is the constitutional accusation made against Minister Marco Antonio Ávila during June of this year. This essay offers a reading of this problem from a gender perspective with the aim of making visible the discourses that reproduce discrimination against sexual and gender diversity.

Introduction: Ecuador is the second country in the region with the highest rate of teenage pregnancy. In this country, the number of pregnancies is significantly higher each year if we add abortions registered in the public health system, and those that occur clandestinely, without registration. Objective: to identify the risk factors associated with pregnancy in adolescents during the COVID-19 pandemic in the urban health units of the city of Tulcán. Method: it was executed by combining quantitative and qualitative paradigms, action and non-experimental research, descriptive and correlational, field and bibliographic. The theoretical methods, the empirical method and documentary analysis, contributed to the topicality of the problem, to develop the proposal after the survey carried out with 87 pregnant women. Results: 67% of the adolescents were between 15 and 19 years old. 32% received visits from their romantic partner during the COVID-19 period, 43% did not have access to health services and 25% did not have access to sexuality education. On the other hand, 52% did not have access to contraceptive methods, 63% did not experience any type of domestic violence, although 2% were sexually raped. 56% declared having received help from their romantic partner and this same percent stated that they did not have the financial income to provide private care. 76% did not receive guidance on family planning and 63% indicated that the responsibility of receiving sexual guidance was on the parents. Conclusions: it was possible to identify risk factors for pregnant adolescents, which allows the development of educational interventions for better information on sexual education, family planning and contraceptive use.
