The problem considered in this article is relevant owing to the inevitable digital transformation of the crisis management of enterprises in bailout procedures, which is associated with a new technological shift and the growing competition between countries for the markets of Industry 4.0 technologies. The introduction of high-tech solutions has led to changes in the format and content of crisis management, with a focus on solving the optimisation tasks of operational management in bailout procedures and rethinking approaches to develop digital development strategy scenarios that include mobile and cloud-based analytical solutions. The digital transformation of the formats of system and comprehensive analyses in bankruptcy institutions has become a natural step in the development of crisis management. This article considers the problem of developing an effective information and analytical system for crisis management in bailout procedures for domestic enterprises in the new economic conditions. The study demonstrates the need to introduce digital tools in building an effective information system for crisis management. Actively developing the market for information products and services offers many opportunities for enterprises to solve problems in the transition to automated and digital technology crisis management.

The article carries out a comparative analysis of the definitions by scholars on understanding the essence of the concepts of both the crisis and the anti-crisis management of enterprise. As a result of the analysis, it is defined that in the scientific literature there is no single understanding of the essence of these concepts. The publication specifies the features of defining these concepts. The essence of crisis is defined as follows: a turning point in the development of changes; moment of sharp aggravation and impossibility of independent overcoming contradictions; stage of the enterprise’s development cycle; result of damage to internal mechanisms for maintaining adaptability, flexibility and sustainability; moment of resolving the contradictions requiring quick decision-making in terms of scarcity of resources; phase of imbalance of the enterprise’s activities and limited opportunities for the influence on the part of its management; situation in which the economic entity is not able to carry out financial provision of its own economic activity; threats of insolvency and bankruptcy of the enterprise. The essence of anti-crisis management is understood as: system of enterprise management; special, constantly organized management; aggregate of methods, techniques, forms of management; instrument for sustainable operation of the enterprise; management in order to predict a crisis; aggregate of the managerial anti-crisis measures. On basis of the analyzed features of defining, the authors’ own definition of crisis and anti-crisis management is proposed. Also, the article determines the task of anti-crisis management of enterprise at the present stage of economic development, taking into account changes in the external environment.

The basic methodical approaches to estimation of labor potential are researched. It is determined that, to estimate the labor potential, the method of the point assessment of components, the method of cluster analysis, the method of indices, as well as the integral method are used. The basic methodical approaches of estimation of labor potential, which should include the cost, comparative and effective approaches, are allocated. It is substantiated that the labor resources form the basis and define the labor component of the anti-crisis potential, which is one of the main levers to increase the performance. The model of definition of an integral indicator of the level of labor component of anti-crisis potential is developed. The labor component of the anti-crisis potential of enterprise is analyzed. The integral indicator of the impact of the labor component on the anti-crisis potential of enterprise is calculated, which in general form is a quantitative expression of the enterprise’s capability of the necessary labor resources, their rational use, and its obtained values - are criteria for evaluating the impact of the labor component on the anti-crisis potential of enterprises. It is determined that, in order to increase the anti-crisis potential of enterprise, it is possible to increase the use of financial, labor and production resources with purpose to adapt to market conditions, which are determined by the instability of external and internal environment of functioning.

The article is aimed at studying the issue of simulation modeling of competitive position according to the level of anti-crisis sustainability and the level of system provision of anti-crisis sustainability of enterprise in the competitive environment. The scientific-methodical approach is developed, allowing to form analytical parameters of anti-crisis sustainability of enterprises in two informative aggregates: indicator of competitive position according to the level of anti-crisis sustainability of enterprise and indicator of the level of system provision of anti-crisis sustainability of enterprise. A practical technology of simulation modeling and scenario approach is presented in terms of formation of competitive position according to the level of anti-crisis sustainability and system provision of anti-crisis sustainability of enterprise, including setting of tasks and building a simulation model. A visualization of the simulation model of the competitive position according to the the level of external anti-crisis sustainability and the level of system provision of the external anti-crisis sustainability of enterprise is provided with graphical means of the СКМ Maple. It is substantiated that the use of simulation modeling and scenario approach results in increasing the opportunities for the activities of enterprises and allows to strengthen their positions in the competitive environment.

Purpose: The purpose of the study was to answer the questions: were there, in the opinion of employees, unfavourable changes or difficulties in the entities in which they are employed in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic, in what areas of the functioning of the enterprises did they occur, did the management staff take appropriate actions in connection with this, what actions were taken? Design/methodology/approach: In addition to the review of literature on the subject of enterprise crisis and pandemic, the article also presents the results of own empirical research. Findings: As a result of the conducted research, it was found that 60.5% of respondents noticed unfavourable changes or difficulties resulting from the external crisis such as the pandemic. Respondents considered that they were most noticed in the sphere of the company’s functioning in the field of personnel management. The next areas were: supply, production, the process of communication between employees and the weakening of the company’s/organization’s relations with business partners, as well as marketing. 33.5% of surveyed employees reported that the management staff showed activity in such a difficult, crisis reality as the pandemic. The actions taken in this area were shown. Research limitations/implications: The selection of the research sample was not probabilistic, but care was taken to ensure a high diversity of respondents, both in terms of the characteristics of the economic entities surveyed and the respondents themselves. Practical implications: Recommendations for managers facing major changes, as was the case with the pandemic, a specific example of an external crisis. Social implications: Showing that in the face of an external crisis such as the pandemic, the integration of intra-organizational activities and building relationships with the company’s environment can significantly mitigate unfavourable phenomena. Originality/value: A comprehensive look not only at the need for a thorough analysis of the causes and conditions of crises in the enterprise but also an indication of taking systematic corrective actions with particular consideration of aspects related to the area of human resources management. Showing that cooperation between the enterprise and its environment based on values can contribute to the creation of a good of a general social nature, also in crisis situations. The article is devoted to the development of a system approach to diagnostics and early prevention of a financial crisis at an enterprise. It was found that the early detection of signs of a financial crisis at enterprises was the priority objective of financial diagnostics. It was determined that the analysis of the system of financial parameters on which the potential viability of the enterprise depends was required within the framework of financial diagnostics. It was proved that failure to account for qualitative parameters of the enterprise's activity was the main drawback of integral financial diagnostics. It was found that value-based indicators did not allow to fully alarm about the threat of default. It was stated that the approach based on forecasting the debt coverage indicator ignored capital expenditures and the performance indicators achieved. It was substantiated that an insufficient level of assessment of the potential solvency of the enterprise was a weak point in both integral and value-based financial diagnostics. Objective: to develop a methodology of crisis management of financial resources of an industrial enterprise. The study used a systematic approach, resource-based, graphical modeling, financial analysis methods, methods of risk management. The first section deals with the theoretical aspects of the nature, composition, structure, financial resources, the second - the analysis of financial condition and efficient use of financial resources of JSC "ChEAZ." Practical results are expressed as an increase in borrowings 200,000 rubles., a loan determines the effect of financial leverage and minimize the cost of capital; consider all possible options for obtaining long-term loans for improvement of production, as well as reduced the outflow of own funds in accounts receivable through an integrated approach the study of the customer, the use of modern means of diagrams and calculations. The present study will allow the Company to save your financial resources and businesses to better manage their financial assets and to improve the financial condition under market conditions. Research Methodology article is relevant, meaningful and has a scientific novelty in the calculation of the risk-free rate of equity.

The features of enterprises activity in crisis terms are investigated. The reasons of crisis situations emergence and anti-crisis instruments in management are defined. Modern problems of the industrial enterprises and the way of their decision are considered.

The basic characteristics of organizational culture such as personal values and meanings acting as internal determinants of the culture of the organization are considered in the work. The correlation analysis of the interrelation of the type of organizational culture with the components of value-meaning sphere of the personality of workers of the enterprise is carried out.

The aim of this article is to show the results of an exploratory study on crisis management in business networks. Using sociological research and the case study methodology, twenty-four questionnaires were handed out to managers of interorganizational networks, representative of the associations they belonged to. These are privileged witnesses, active in the most relevant production sectors. The research was carried out on a national level, region by region. The results describe an evolving business trend. According to the respondents, business networks are more efficient when dealing with a crisis. Flexibility, mutual support and territorial roots are the assets that make enterprise networks more competitive. By examining the data we can devise a new socializing practice, carried out in a structure with shared organization. According to the research findings, the identity dimension of business networks needs a deeper understanding. Network branding is a step in that direction. The correlation between network branding and Industry 4.0 policies, another important factor that emerges from the research results, allows us to create a matrix with four styles of crisis management. Together they make up a map of networks management, classified according to the response given to the current pandemic crisis. Object. To consider the main modern methods, the assessment tools of extent of crisis state of enterprise. To work out the model of extent of crisis state of enterprise which can be applied at the running diagnostics of financial state of enterprise and at determination of tendencies of crisis development, for taking measures concerning normalization of financial state of enterprise or liquidation of bankruptcy threat. Methodology. Complex system-oriented analysis of methods of research of financial and property status of enterprise, test tools for internal and external environment of enterprise, combinatorial and system dynamics methods. Results. For the purpose of assessment of extent of crisis and its impact on financial status of enterprise in case of taking any preventive or regulating measures the economic and mathematical model of assessment of extent of crisis state of enterprise has been developed. Scientific novelty. The mechanism of assessment of extent of crisis of enterprise that consists of methods, tools for complex system-oriented analysis of financial and property status of enterprise and threats and possibilities of external environment, and economic and mathematical model of assessment of extent of crisis state of enterprise has been developed. Practical implications. Suggested approaches can be applied at the running diagnostics of financial state of enterprise and at determination of tendencies of crisis development, at estimating efficiency of managerial decisions concerning preventive measures for normalization of financial state of enterprise or liquidation of bankruptcy threat. Internal control is an important internal governance mechanism of enterprises and plays an important role in preventing and controlling corporate risks. This paper utilizes COVID-19 shocks and uses data from listed companies in China for 2019–2021 in order to study the impact of internal control on enterprise resilience and its functioning mechanism. The findings show that internal control significantly improves enterprise resilience during a crisis. By using firm characteristic quantile regressions, it is found that under a crisis, larger firms with sufficient cash flow from operating activities are more protected by internal control and more resilient. Mechanistic analysis suggests that internal control further increases enterprise resilience by improving resource allocation efficiency, reducing operating risk, and increasing innovation output. Further analysis shows that government support can enhance the resilience of firms during crises through tax and fiscal policies; a better business environment enhances firms' ability to withstand risks in crisis situations and helps them gain a competitive advantage in crisis situations. Based on this, this paper provides empirical evidence for revising and improving the internal control system of enterprises to reduce the negative impact of public health emergencies in the context of epidemics. The article is aimed at highlighting the features of formation of financial results of small businesses. Approaches to defining the essence of the concept of «financial result» and the factors influencing the formation of financial results of the enterprise’s activities are considered and generalized. The procedure for forming the financial results of a small enterprise is defined. When considering the features of the financial performance of small businesses, it is identified that their incomes are decreasing and their costs are rising. This leads to an increase in the loss, and running at a loss is a sign of the crisis status of enterprise. The factors leading to strategic crisis, profitability crisis and liquidity crisis at enterprise are defined. The need to introduce anti-crisis management of enterprise in order to overcome the loss, as well as ensure sustainable development is substantiated. It is determined that the main role in the enterprise’s anti-crisis management system belongs to the wide use of financial stabilization mechanisms. It is determined that the financial stabilization of enterprise should be carried out according to the following stages: elimination of insolvency; restoring financial stability; changing the financial strategy to accelerate economic growth. According to the research results, it is advisable for small enterprises to apply effective, tactical and strategic financial stabilization mechanisms.

Purpose. Grounded factors identify systemic crisis in the company were proved, formed crisis-generation factors, as well as the directions for change, such as restructuring and reengineering. Methodology. In the study the classification method of systemic crisis factors was used. The synthesis and analysis method of the "systemic crisis method" definition was used for abstraction in justifying directions organizational changes in the company. Findings. The study have identified the major factors of the crisis-generation systemic crisis, it was assessed their impact on the overall importance of the company. And also it was assessed the possible anti-crisis measures to overcome the crisis and the implementation of organizational changes, such as restructuring and reengineering business processes. Originality. It was investigated the impact of various factors on target specific systemic crisis in the enterprise. The approaches to the definition of "systemic crisis" and the directions of organizational change, which is restructuring and reengineering business processes Practical value. The aim of the study is to analyse the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the situation of enterprises in Poland. For this purpose, the results of the CSO surveys were used (the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the economic situation), conducted from April 2020 to December 2021. The results of the research indicate a clear differentiation of the situation among enterprises in the analysed period. The problems caused by the pandemic were particularly pronounced among service companies in the accommodation and catering sector, retailers in the textile, clothing and footwear sector, and in the specialist construction sector companies. Moreover, in most cases, within a given problem caused by the pandemic, it was the smaller enterprises that indicated the existence of threats more often. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The problem of occurrence of crisis phenomena is of systemic nature and is characterized by a number of factors and constituents. Systematizing the factors and constituents influencing the development of the national economy and its subjects, as well as the delineating the financial-economic variables used as analytical benchmarks for efficient managerial decisions, constitute the information basis for the application of anti-crisis management measures. The objectives of the article are considering the current financial-economic status of Ukraine’s national economy, macro- and micro-economic factors and the preconditions of crisis phenomena in enterprises; expansion of macro-economic indicators of crisis phenomena in terms of economic entities. The indicators of the volume of investments in both the material and the intangible assets and GDP, the financial results of Ukrainian enterprises, the profitability of enterprises divided into large, medium-sized, small ones are considered. It is argued that the financial-economic factors of the macro- and micro-environments of enterprises have a relationship and interdependence. The classification of external and internal factors of occurrence of crisis in enterprises is generalized. It is proposed to include into the important macro-economic indicators of crisis phenomena of economic entities, in addition to the analyzed, the following: incomes of the population, solvent demand, consumption volumes, costs structure, inflation rate, savings, population size and the level of unemployment. A relevant direction for further research is the analytical definition of the relationship and interdependence between incomes of the population, solvent demand, consumption volumes, costs structure, inflation rate, savings, population size and unemployment – as the important macro-economic indicators of crisis phenomena and prerequisites for the application of crisis management in enterprises.

The article reports on the research regarding the academic cultures in several countries susch as Great Britain, U.S. and Europe. It states that several problems related to academic culture were observed such as stress, depressions, and anxiousness. Also included are the insecurity, anger, and physical illnesses that are related to the stress in work environment.

The article developed and tested methodological principles for evaluating the effectiveness of investing in resource-saving measures as a tool of anti-crisis financial management at enterprises. It is planned to carry out such an assessment by forecasting the values of the proposed indicator of the depth of the financial crisis at enterprises. The calculation of this indicator is based on comparing the minimum acceptable value of the financial result of the company's activity for the fulfillment of debt obligations with the actual value of such a result. The application of the proposed indicator makes it possible, among other things, to carry out a qualitative gradation of the depth of the financial crisis at enterprises by distinguishing them into six classes depending on the value of the indicator of this depth. At the same time, four of these classes refer to business entities already in a state of financial crisis or with signs of the possibility of approaching this state. Accordingly, by assessing the forecast or actual change in the number of such enterprises after they implemented resource conservation investment projects, it is possible to establish the effectiveness of investing in resource conservation measures as a tool of anti-crisis financial management at enterprises. To correctly calculate the predictive value of the indicator of the depth of the financial crisis at the enterprise, among other things, the simulation of this indicator was carried out. Such modeling provided, in particular, an opportunity to better understand the mechanism of influence of several factors on the value of the indicator of the depth of the financial crisis. It was established that the main factors include the structure of sources of financing resource-saving investment projects, the length of the crediting period, the capital intensity of products, and the share of expenses related to the consumption of specific production resources, etc. Based on the conducted theoretical studies, a method was developed for evaluating the effectiveness of investments in resource-saving measures as a tool of anti-crisis financial management at enterprises. This method was successfully tested on a sample of enterprises that belong to three industries and are characterized by a significant share of loan capital in the structure of asset financing sources. The results of the empirical analysis showed that implementing energy-saving projects at the studied enterprises will significantly reduce the number of enterprises in a crisis or pre-crisis state. It was also proven that the forecast value of the indicator of the depth of the financial crisis after the implementation of energy-saving projects decreases with an increase in the crediting period and the initial share of costs for the purchase of energy resources. Today, business activities of large, medium and small business entities play a significant role in our country. They contribute to the rapid structural restructuring of the economy, saturate the market with goods and services, and maximize the employment of the entire working population. However, their development in our country is hampered by the changing and unfavorable political situation, which directly affects the existence, efficiency, viability and competitiveness of each individual form of enterprise. Enterprises and organizations face important issues of preventing liquidation, complete closure or bankruptcy caused by changes in the internal environment as a result of the management entity's activities and changes in external environment factors. The main purpose of the article is to define the essence of the internal environment and its main elements and means of crisis management. The article examines the essence of the internal environment of enterprises and reveals its main components, which include goals, objectives, organizational structure, employees and technological resources. Having considered and compared the opinions of various scholars in defining the concept of the internal environment, the author has formed her interpretation of the internal environment of the enterprise. The article investigates the management of the internal environment in crisis situations of an organization's activities. In the context of instability, paying attention to the development of an enterprise in a state of crisis in the scientific literature is still an urgent issue and important for consideration. The main reasons for the emergence of a crisis at an enterprise, which have a mutual influence, are disclosed, the reasons that cause a crisis in domestic organizations are allocated, and the most important factors influencing this are identified. The article highlights important requirements that crisis management should include. Depending on the specifics of development and the state of the enterprise, crisis management can be divided into preventive, crisis and post-crisis management. The conditions for carrying out crisis management of an enterprise are allocated. Based on the analyzed information, recommendations were made on the main ways to bring the organization out of a crisis state, which can be ensuring by diversification measures, reengineering, restructuring and rehabilitation measures. The activity of enterprises in modern economic conditions is exposed to threats caused by the uncertainty of the market environment. One of the options for overcoming the crisis and reducing the level of economic risk for enterprises is to develop and implement effective anticrisis measures, which should be implemented comprehensively and using the results of the continuous diagnostics. That is the reason why the purpose of the study is to develop the theoretical and methodological provisions for building a system for diagnosing crisis situations of enterprises. Unlike other approaches to building such a system, the authors focus on the calculation of an integrated indicator, partial indicators of which reflect the level of crisis situations in the enterprise by areas of origin, taking into account the provisions of the balanced scorecard (BSC). Systematizing the research of scientific sources, as well as taking into account the provisions of the balanced scorecard (BSC), the authors propose to distinguish depending on the scope of four components of the financial and economic crisis in enterprises: financial, operational (production), staffing and marketing crisis. It is proposed to diagnose the crisis of the enterprise by determining the integrated indicator using the analytic hierarchy process (T. Saaty method) and expert survey (to calculate the severity of crises and indicators), as well as the method of rationing (to bring indicators of crisis diagnostics, which are different by types, to a single information orientation and dimension). The system of indicators of diagnostics of financial, operational, staffing and marketing crisis at the enterprises is formed and for their further rationing, their characteristic values are defined. To generalize the level of crisis in the enterprise, the authors proposed to use the universal Harrington scale. The article examines the theoretical and applied foundations of the assessment of financial and economic security in the system of financial monitoring of the enterprise's activity. It is emphasized that the financial monitoring of the enterprise's activity characterizes the functional mechanism of constant monitoring of the enterprise's financial indicators, which includes obtaining, systematization, and analysis of financial information in order to establish cause-and-effect relationships, based on the comparison of analytical data of the enterprise's functioning with normative ones. Monitoring of the financial activity of the enterprise must be carried out at various stages of financial management in order to make key managerial financial decisions. It is noted that in the economic literature there are various methods of assessing the level of financial and economic security of economic entities, which are based mainly on the ratio analysis of financial statements. Analyzing these methods, it is advisable not to allow an excessive number of coefficients, since, duplicating each other, they do not bring much benefit to the formation of a holistic picture of the level of financial and economic security. Monitoring of the effectiveness of the financial and economic security of the enterprise is based on methods of assessing the probability of bankruptcy. Based on the obtained results of the use of models for assessing the probability of bankruptcy, it was established that the investigated enterprise is not in danger of bankruptcy. However, there is a gradual decrease in estimated indicators, and if the company does not take measures to maintain financial and economic security in proper condition, it may enter the risk zone. Attention is focused on the fact that in order to diagnose crisis situations, the enterprise needs constant monitoring of factors that cause internal and external threats to financial and economic security. Measures that can be aimed at neutralizing the threat of a financial crisis are proposed. In general, the assessment of financial and economic security as a component of the system of financial monitoring of the enterprise's activity must be considered as an important tool for its sustainable development and successful functioning. An article is devoted to theoretical and practical aspects of financial rehabilitation of enterprises. Different approaches of economists to the essence and meaning of the concept of “financial rehabilitation of the enterprise” are analyzed. In the form of a graphic interpretation, the main tasks included in the financial rehabilitation of the enterprise, as well as the algorithm of methods for its implementation, are presented. A number of problems that may arise in the process of financial rehabilitation of enterprises are identified and substantiated. Among them, the most important is the cost of this process, as well as the lack of effective methods and specialists for diagnosing the financial state of the enterprise. Considering the importance of diagnosing the state of the enterprise development in the process of financial rehabilitation, it is recommended to use the economic and mathematical model of O. A. Vinnytska. The model has been tested on “InterTrade” LLC, which is engaged in wholesale and retail trade of auto parts. According to the results of economic and mathematical modeling, a tendency of the general financial condition deterioration of “InterTrade” LLC is revealed, as well as the presence of a “profitability” crisis at the enterprise. Among the advantages inherent in the proposed economic and mathematical model, it is worth highlighting the following: ease of use; availability of data necessary for calculations; compliance with the conditions of domestic enterprises management; the ability not only to assess, but also to determine a specific type of financial condition (crisis, satisfactory, stable, excellent, courageous). The general algorithm for choosing the method of financial rehabilitation of the enterprise has been improved, which consists of three interrelated stages (identification and elimination of external factors of bankruptcy of the enterprise; development and implementation of measures for financial rehabilitation of local enterprises; stabilization of the financial condition of the enterprise). For each separate stage, a goal and specific implementation measures are defined. Practical application of the algorithm will allow to solve the existing problems of enterprises quickly and qualitatively and, thus, to avoid the procedure of bankruptcy or liquidation in the future. Modern military-pandemic and other crisis conditions of enterprise functioning require optimal use of non-current assets of the enterprise. Effective management is based on accounting information and needs to improve the information base about these assets for managers of enterprises and their owners. The aim of the article is to research the problematic issues of accounting for non-current assets and develop ways to solve them to improve the management of such assets. The following methods were used in the research in accordance with the main aim: analysis, synthesis, empirical comparison, logical generalization, scientific abstraction, systematic approach, statistical and historical methods in combination with methodological tools of bibliographic and comparative analysis, economic and mathematical modeling. The article clarifies the definitional positioning of the concept of "non-current assets" in accounting. The method of reflecting the components of non-current assets (fixed assets, current intangible assets, investment property, goodwill) in the accounts and in the Balance (Statement of Financial Position) of the enterprise has been improved. The current list of primary documents of fixed assets accounting has been supplemented with a new form ОЗ-10 "Calculation of reduction, restoration of the usefulness of fixed assets" in accordance with the requirements of NSA 28 "Decrease in the usefulness of assets". It is proposed to differentiate between the costs and revenues from emergencies, including military actions related to the loss of non-current and current assets. The use of proposals for the accounting of the non-current assets improving will ensure its synchronization with accounting terminology, classification of assets, list of primary documents, international and national legal documents, and optimal taxonomy of enterprise statement, which helps to optimize the enterprises' activities in crisis. Crises are characteristic of any system, including economic entities in the process of its evolution. These usually signal the accumulation of a critical mass - of the restriction factors, the elimination or activation of which is necessary, either to prolong the reproduction process or to move to a new quality. The recent global economic crisis, related to the global pandemic situation, has made crisis management at both macro-economic and micro-economic levels one of the most important management tools to revive the critical situation globally. The crisis at all levels is always accompanied by a chronic organizational and financial instability, determining the need to develop measures that would be coherent in the new conditions of the economic environment accompanied by the political and social. The critical situation in the country's economy is confirmed by the worsening financial situation of domestic enterprises, the increase in losses, and, respectively, the number of enterprises on the verge of bankruptcy. Such a critical situation makes the issue of efficient organization of the management of the activity of enterprises in economic difficulty/crisis extremely topical. From this point of view, choosing the methods of crisis management and transforming them into an effective tool in entrepreneurship is a priority. The decisive role, in this sense, must belong to the diagnosis and financial forecasting of the dangers of crises at the enterprise by considering the factors that caused the crisis or even bankruptcy. Public opinion surveys find that most Americans believe the country faces a "retirement crisis" of inadequate savings, a view loaned support by numerous studies that have received considerable media coverage. In this article, I assess the retirement savings adequacy of US households in two ways. First, I critically analyze 10 studies concluding that Americans have significantly undersaved for retirement, finding that most have one or more flaws that undercut their conclusions. Second, I examine a range of data looking at the income adequacy of current US seniors and of the retirement savings habits of working-age households. US seniors today have substantially higher incomes than past generations of retirees and have nearly closed the income gap with working-age households. Current working-age Americans are preparing better for retirement in many ways, including retirement plan participation rates, contribution rates, asset levels, labor supply at older ages, and Social Security claiming ages. While the majority of Americans appear to believe the country faces a retirement crisis, a more skeptical analysis of the evidence for such views paints a more positive picture. Purpose: A qualitative approach based on grounded theory was utilized, with data collected through 26 semi-structured interviews with social entrepreneurs. Alas's Triangular Model provided the framework for data analysis and interpretation. Design/methodology/approach: This study explores how Hong Kong social enterprises approached crisis and change management during the COVID-19 pandemic, examining their resilience-building strategies. Findings: The pandemic triggered an existential crisis for many social enterprises, causing severe revenue losses. However, strong leadership and cultures based on social mission enabled resilience. In the era of VUCA, cultivating and enhancing the resilience of high-end manufacturing enterprises is critical. Based on existing research, this paper defines enterprise resilience at the beginning and constructs an enterprise resilience evaluation index system that includes three segmented capabilities: recognition and resistance, adaptation and adjustment, and recovery and rebound. Finally, the relationship between human capital investment, technological innovation, and high-end enterprise resilience is empirically studied. The research results show that human capital investment positively affects the resilience of high-end manufacturing enterprises, with breakthrough innovation and progressive innovation playing a mediating role. Digital transformation positively moderates the impact of human capital investment on the resilience of high-end manufacturing enterprises. Further, there is a higher threshold between human capital investment and technological innovation in improving the resilience of high-end manufacturing enterprises. Human capital investment has a significantly positive effect on high-end manufacturing enterprises' ability to resist risks and adapt to adjustments but has no significant impact on recovery and rebound ability. Breakthrough and progressive innovation partially mediate the impact of human capital investment on the ability to resist risks and adapt to adjustments, while breakthrough innovation has no significant impact on the recovery of the rebound ability; however, progressive innovation completely mediates the relationship between human capital investment and the recovery of rebound ability. Compared with Chinese non-state-owned enterprises, state-owned enterprises' efforts to increase investment in human capital only positively impact their ability to resist risks. Compared with large-scale enterprises, the increase in human capital investment in small-scale enterprises only has a significant positive impact on the ability to resist risks. Based on the above, this paper suggests that high-end manufacturing enterprises should enhance their strategic focus and constantly strengthen their investment in human capital and technological innovation; at the same time, they should further optimize the structure of human capital investment and introduce and cultivate cutting-edge talents. Purpose: This paper elucidates the role of anger in error management (EM) and organizational learning behaviors. The study explores how anger can catalyze learning, emphasizing its strategic implications. Design/methodology/approach: A double-layered moderated-mediated model was developed and tested using data from 744 Chinese CEOs. The psychometric properties of the survey instrument were rigorously examined through structural equation modeling, and hypotheses were tested using Hayes's PROCESS macros. Findings: The findings reveal that anger is a precursor for recognizing the value of significant errors, leading to a positive association with learning behavior among top management team members. Additionally, the study uncovers a triple interaction effect of anger, EM culture and supply chain disruptions on the value of learning from errors. Extensive experience and positive grieving strengthen the relationship between recognizing value from errors and learning behavior. Originality/value: This study uniquely integrates affect-cognitive theory and organizational learning theory, examining anger in EM and learning. The authors provide empirical evidence that anger can drive error value recognition and learning. Social enterprises play a crucial role in addressing the challenges of inclusive growth, particularly in areas with volatile economies marked by disasters and conflicts, such as Lanao del Sur, Philippines. Social enterprises are unique due to their dual-centric mission, which pursues both social impact and economic goals. Anchored on Resource Dependence Theory and Institutional Theory, this study investigated the impact of financial pressures on the social and financial performance of a social enterprise in Lanao del Sur. A qualitative approach was employed, utilizing in-depth interviews and thematic analysis to uncover patterns, themes, and narratives related to financial pressures and balancing dual missions (Braun & Clarke, 2006). The findings revealed that financial pressures stemming from income instability, cash flow shortages, liquidity crises, and financial strains significantly impair operational capabilities, hindering both the social and financial performance of the social enterprise. Furthermore, the study highlighted the vital role of government and non-government organizations in aiding the social enterprise. Grants, mentorship, networks, and collaborations helped the business survive and thrive amidst financial challenges. However, while these different types of support ensure implementation of social goals, they also indirectly exert pressure on the social enterprise to prioritize financial goals, potentially compromising their social performance. Thus, the study underscored the importance of balancing the dual mission, offering valuable information for social enterprises and other stakeholders in crafting effective programs, strategies, and initiatives that facilitate the achievement of both the social and financial goals of social enterprises while contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by fostering inclusive growth. Purpose: This paper has a dual purpose. The first is to provide a thorough analysis of developments in international marketing in relation to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic; the second is to capitalize on these developments to set an agenda for future research in the field of international marketing. Design/methodology/approach: This paper zooms in on and reviews the 18 papers published in International Marketing Review's (IMR) Special Issue on "Covid 19: advancing international marketing theory and guiding practice" (2023, volume 40, issue 5). It also integrates recent research at the intersection of international marketing and the COVID-19 pandemic. Findings: The paper highlights five areas that embody significant contemporaneous changes brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic and affect international marketing practice. These include (1) shifts in consumer behavior, (2) digitalization and artificial intelligence, (3) disruptions in supply chains, (4) communication and corporate social responsibility (CSR), and (5) international dynamic marketing capabilities. Geospatial data have a long history in marketing research that goes back to Huff's seminal gravity model from the 1960s. Their applications in research and practice range from location-based mobile targeting of individual consumers to store competition analysis and city marketing. In the past decades, geospatial data have become more readily available and have grown considerably in both breadth (i.e., countries and regions covered) and depth (i.e., granularity and diversity of information covered). Nonetheless, international marketing research has not yet fully embraced the opportunities that geospatial data bring to the field. To address this shortcoming, this article shows how geospatial data may propel international marketing research in various domains and develops future research questions for the field. In addition, it introduces OpenStreetMap as a rich geospatial data source to the discipline. The authors illustrate the use of geospatial data in general and OpenStreetMap in particular through a concrete application in which they analyze city center composition in nine countries across three continents. The purpose of the study is to deepen the theoretical and methodological foundations and improve the practical recommendations regarding the financial management of companies in modern economic conditions. Results. Thus, it can be argued that modern crisis management of enterprises should be preventive in nature and be carried out in anticipation of negative crisis phenomena that lead to a loss of financial stability and solvency. According to the authors, the changing market environment creates an objective need to consider crisis management not as a one-time problem-oriented action, but as a continuous process, since it is known that it is easier to prevent a problem than to eliminate its consequences. It is evident that the practical implementation of management decisions necessitates the availability of appropriate sources of funding. These can be mobilised through the effective functioning of the financial mechanism, which comprises financial methods, financial levers, regulatory and information support. The efficacy of crisis management in enterprises hinges on the sufficiency of financial resources, which in turn depends on the selection of an appropriate method and instrument. Hence, the issue of optimal choice and feasibility of using financial methods in the context of crisis management of enterprise is a promising area for further research. The economic performance of the private company (PС) for the period 2021-2023 is positive, with an acceptable level of profitability. There is a threat of financial risk for the PС due to an increase in the amount of funds raised. At the same time, equity's manoeuvrability is increasing, indicating effective management of financial flows. Despite certain downward trends in the financial condition, the company has a significant margin of safety due to the fact that fixed costs are 21% or more. It follows that the main objective of financial management is to ensure growth in net income and profit, which can be achieved by increasing the production of veterinary drugs, growing sales of feed additives and providing services. Consequently, the most pressing objective of financial management at PC "O.L.KAR.-AgroZooVet-Service" is to enhance revenue generation and align financial flows. Methodology. The article develops methods of financial management of an enterprise, which envisage identification, analysis and development of models of anti-crisis management. Value / Originality. The management of the enterprise of wholesale trade in intermediate products is currently considered one of the most important and complex areas of activity and requires detailed consideration from the point of view of financial activity. The results of financial activity of PC "О.L.KAR.-AgroZooVet-Service" prove its efficiency. However, there is a clear tendency towards a certain complication of the efficiency of work, which is mainly connected with the influence of military events, the crisis state of the economy in general, the divergence of the trends in the price of the company's products and its costs, and fluctuations in the exchange rate. At the same time, the management of the PC conducts a financial policy aimed at development, accumulating profits in its capital and providing the necessary funds for the development of the company's fixed assets. Therefore, measures of anti-crisis management of the enterprise are proposed after calculating the bankruptcy model of the enterprise. Prospects for further research are related to the development of optimal solutions for managing the finances of business entities in Ukraine. Summing up the above, it can be noted that during the analysed period, the financial condition of a private enterprise did not deteriorate significantly: the company makes profits, but the indicators of financial stability and solvency attract special attention. Guided by these instructions and instructions for increasing the level of financial stability and improving financial management, PC "О.L.KAR.-AgroZooVet-Service" will maintain a stable and competitive level of financial and social activity on the market under proper financial management under the management, even in difficult times of martial law in Ukraine.

The aim of this article is to identify the significance of the crisis for the functioning of the company and to find possible ways to solve it. This setting of the research objective should allow the research problem to be identified and solved as follows: how should an 'entrepreneur' behave in order to avoid or relatively smoothly pass through a crisis in a company. In order to solve the research problem and realise the research objective, research methods such as analysis of literature and legal acts, comparison, analysis, synthesis, inductive and deductive reasoning and abstraction, among others, were used. The above made it possible to clarify working results and generalisations: the company should ensure crisis preparedness. In order to ensure that information about the crisis does not spread and gain momentum, thereby weakening the financial situation or image of the company, it must react quickly to emerging threats by monitoring the symptoms of the crisis. Early detection and precisely developed operational procedures can lead the company out of the crisis without excessive losses. The earlier the symptoms of a crisis are recognised, the smaller the losses. Efficient communication can effectively prevent a crisis from spreading further both outside and inside the company. Purpose: The purpose of this article is to analyze the effectiveness of financial support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) provided by the Poviat Labour Offices (PUPs) in the Silesian Voivodeship under the Polish government's Anti-Crisis Shield during the COVID-19 pandemic. Design/methodology/approach: The study employs secondary data analysis, collecting and processing existing data from all 32 Poviat Labour Offices in the Silesian Voivodeship. The research involved statistical analysis of the types, amounts, and success rates of the financial support measures to evaluate their effectiveness. Findings: The findings indicate that the Anti-Crisis Shield significantly helped SMEs in the Silesian Voivodeship to sustain their operations and retain jobs. The majority of applications for support were processed efficiently, with a high percentage of approvals. The most common type of aid was one-off loans for covering ongoing business costs, reflecting the immediate need for liquidity among businesses. Research limitations/implications: The study is limited to the Silesian Voivodeship and may not fully represent the effectiveness of the Anti-Crisis Shield in other regions. Future research could expand to other voivodeships to provide a more comprehensive evaluation of the program. Practical implications: The results of this study can inform policymakers and public administrators on the critical factors that contribute to the successful distribution of emergency financial aid. It underscores the importance of efficient administrative processes and the need for clear communication channels between public institutions and SMEs. These insights can help improve the design and implementation of similar support programs in future economic crises. Social implications: The research highlights the critical role of government intervention in mitigating the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on SMEs. Effective distribution of financial aid helped stabilize the local economy and protected jobs, contributing to social and economic resilience during the crisis. The paper examines the management of the government debt portfolio in the Russian Federation, focusing on the significant macroeconomic challenges and structural imbalances within the debt portfolio. Specifically, it addresses issues such as increasing debt levels, the growing burden of debt payments, and the imbalance in the composition of debt obligations. The study emphasizes the necessity of adopting new management approaches to mitigate significant economic and financial risks. It proposes a comprehensive method for targeted risk management, which includes optimizing the debt portfolio structure, coordinating state-level cash flows, and employing an improved system of debt load indicators. To minimize currency risk, the study introduces an approach to determine the optimal debt portfolio structure by balancing the impact of various borrowing currencies on debt payments. The results suggest substantial changes in public borrowing policy, advocating for a significant reduction in US dollar-denominated debt, diversification of the currency structure by increasing borrowings in other currencies, and enhancing the share of debt obligations in rubles and euros. Resilience is deeper than maintaining a company's operations and services in the face of significant disruptions. It is the ability of a business to withstand, pivot and continue to grow in the face of a significant threat. To achieve resilience, companies must have an integrated, end-to-end understanding of how a specific threat magnifies the risks identified on their risk register, and what measures are needed across the enterprise to address the amplification of those risks. This paper details how the need for a holistic approach is especially important for cyber crises, compared with other types of crises, because they tend to have more broad-ranging impacts and complexities, such as: unclear timelines, lack of public empathy, unpredictable human threat actor(s), as well as a broader set of internal and external stakeholders that need to be engaged. Unlike other crises, cyber crises have the potential to magnify most — if not all — of the risks on the risk register. As such, cyber resilience requires ensuring that key stakeholders, whether shareholders, customers, regulators, business partners, employees, etc, stay resolute in their faith in a company and its leadership's ability to navigate the increasingly complex issues related to cyber risks and how these issues are addressed enterprise-wide, not purely seen through the lens of technical or operational resilience. To achieve cyber resilience, organisations must develop and implement programmes that integrate both the technical and the broader business measures needed to limit fallout, demonstrate leadership through cyber crises, and deepen trust regardless of the potential severity of the impact.
