Objective: To validate the application value of Kyoto gastritis score in diagnosing Helicobacter pylori (Hp) infection status under gastroscopy in Chinses population, and to construct a modified prediction model to improve the diagnostic value of Hp infection. Methods: A total of 749 cases who underwent gastroscopy at the Digestive Endoscopy Center of the Ninth People's Hospital (North), Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, from January 1, 2021 to June 1, 2023 were retrospectively collected. Patients were divided into Hp-positive group and Hp-negative group based on histopathological biopsy or 13C breath test results. The endoscopic mucosal manifestations were recorded according to the Kyoto classification of gastritis, including atrophy, intestinal metaplasia, fold enlargement, diffuse redness, nodularity, RAC, red streak, and other 18 manifestations to verify the diagnostic value of Kyoto gastritis score for Hp infection. The mucosal manifestations with significant differences in univariate analysis were included in binary Logistic regression, and a modified prediction model was constructed according to the regression coefficients. ROC analysis was used to analyze the diagnostic value of Kyoto gastritis score and the modified prediction model for Hp infection. Results: The Hp infection rate was 54.47%. Intestinal metaplasia, fold enlargement, nodularity, diffuse redness, spotty redness, and sticky mucus were independent predictors of Hp infection. RAC, red streak, white and flat elevated lesion were independent predictors of Hp non-infection. The area under the curve was 0.861 (95%CI was 0.835~0.887), the accuracy was 75.2%, and the sensitivity and specificity were 88.5% and 65.1%. Mucosal manifestations such as spotty redness, sticky mucus, and RAC were incorporated into the modified prediction model. The results showed that the specificity (85.9%), positive predictive value (88.2%), negative predictive value (85.4%) and AUC [0.929 (95%CI was 0.910-0.947)] of the modified prediction model for Hp infection were higher than those of Kyoto gastritis score [65.1%, 75.2%, 82.5% and 0.861 (95%CI was 0.835-0.887), respectively]. Conclusions: Kyoto gastritis score has a certain application value for Hp in the Chinese population, and the modified prediction model has a higher diagnostic value for Hp infection.

Objective: To explore the clinical value of serum PGI, PGII, PGI/PGII, G-17 levels and Hp-IgG antibody in the preliminary screening of gastric diseases. Methods: A total of 300 patients who underwent gastroscopy in the Gastroenterology Department of our hospital from July 2018 to July 2020 due to gastric diseases were selected as the research objects. According to gastroscopy and pathological examinations, they were divided into chronic superficial gastritis group,chronic atrophic gastritis group and gastric cancer group. 100 healthy patients from the physical examination center during the same period were selected as the control group. The serum PGI, PGII, PGI/PGII G17 levels and the positive rate of Hp-IgG antibody in each group were compared. Results: Serum PGI/PGII levels in gastric cancer group(10.42±4.63) and atrophic gastritis group (10.54±4.36) were lower than those in control group (12.07±6.80). Serum G-17 levels in gastric cancer group [(13.85±27.68） pmmol/L] and chronic atrophic gastritis group [(9.63±10.82) pmmol/L] were higher than those in control group [(6.02±7.30) pmmol/L]. Steel truss bridges are especially vulnerable in the event of a sudden loss of a load-carrying element, which can trigger a chain of failures. This paper describes a unique case study of a steel truss bridge under construction subjected to sudden member breakages with an extensive monitoring system. The failures occurred during the dismantlement of temporary members that had been used to transform a three-span simply supported steel truss bridge into a three-span continuous structure during incremental launching. These temporary members needed to be removed once the bridge reached its final position. The robustness of the bridge was assessed using computer simulations of various failure scenarios to evaluate its capacity to effectively activate alternative load paths (ALPs). The results demonstrated the structural redundancy of the steel truss bridge. However, the dynamic response resulting from the failure of the temporary upper chord, due to the initially high tension in the rods, should not be overlooked. To mitigate this issue, a structural retrofitting method was proposed, involving jacking the truss girder above the side pier to reduce the tension in the temporary upper chord above the middle pier. The increase of software supply chain threats has underscored the necessity for robust security mechanisms, among which the Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) stands out as a promising solution. SBOMs, by providing a machine-readable inventory of software composition details, play a crucial role in enhancing transparency and traceability within software supply chains. This empirical study delves into the practical challenges and solutions associated with the adoption of SBOMs through an analysis of 4,786 GitHub discussions across 510 SBOM-related projects. Through repository mining and analysis, this research delineates key topics, challenges, and solutions intrinsic to the effective utilization of SBOMs. Furthermore, we shed light on commonly used tools and frameworks for SBOM generation, exploring their respective strengths and limitations. This study underscores a set of findings, for example, there are four phases of the SBOM life cycle, and each phase has a set of SBOM development activities and issues; in addition, this study emphasizes the role SBOM play in ensuring resilient software development practices and the imperative of their widespread adoption and integration to bolster supply chain security. Thioredoxin (TRX) is a small protein with REDOX activity that plays a crucial role in a plant's growth, development, and stress resistance. The TRX family has been extensively studied in Arabidopsis, rice, and wheat, and so it is likely that its members have similar biological functions in Liriodendron that have not been reported in Liriodendron. In this study, we performed the genome-wide identification of the TRX gene family based on the Liriodendron chinense genome, leading to a total of 42 LcTRX gene members. A phylogenetic analysis categorized these 42 LcTRX proteins into 13 subfamilies. We further characterized their chromosome distributions, gene structures, conserved protein motifs, and cis-elements in the promoter regions. In addition, based on the publicly available transcriptome data for Liriodendron hybrid and following RT-qPCR experiments, we explored the expression patterns of LhTRXs to different abiotic stressors, i.e., drought, cold, and heat stress. Notably, we found that several LhTRXs, especially LhTRX-h3, were significantly upregulated in response to abiotic stress. In addition, the subcellular localization assay showed that LhTRX-h3 was mainly distributed in the cytoplasm. Subsequently, we obtained LhTRX-h3 overexpression (OE) and knockout (KO) callus lines in Liriodendron hybrid. Compared to the wild type (WT) and LhTRX-h3-KO callus proliferation of LhTRX-h3-OE lines was significantly enhanced with reduced reactive oxygen species (ROS) accumulation under drought stress.
