With the development of new media technology, some new changes have been brought to traditional shopping. In this environment, live streaming e-commerce has been loved by online consumers. We adopted the theory of planned behavior (TPB), perceived interactivity and perceived utilitarian value as the theoretical basis for research. In the part of data collection, we surveyed 600 Chinese online consumers, the results showed that attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavior control, perceived interactivity and perceived utilitarian value significantly affected consumer behavior intention. The article also discussed the practice and theoretical contributions for live streaming e-commerce.

This research extends the theory of planned behavior to explore how privacy concerns influence privacy-protection behavioral intentions via attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control. Using snowball sampling, 637 participants were recruited in China to complete this online survey. After eliminating the invalid questionnaire, this study received valid samples of 599 respondents. The finding demonstrated that privacy concerns were positively associated with individuals’ attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control. And these factors also were found positively influence privacy-protection behavioral intentions. Theoretical and practical contributions are discussed as well.

The effects of Ta and Zr content on the stability, elastic properties and electronic structure of Ti-Zr-Ta alloy phase were studied by first principles calculation method based on density functional theory. Moreover, Ti-Zr-Ta alloy was fabricated by spark plasma sintering (SPS) using spherical Ti powder,Ta powder, and Ti-Zr-Ta alloy powder produced by the plasma rotation electrode process (PREP). Afterward, the effects of sintering temperature, Zr and Ta content on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the alloy samples were investigated. The results showed that sintering temperature, Ta and Zr content were the key factors which affected the densification. When the sintering temperature was raised, the relative density and mechanical properties of Ti-Zr-Ta alloy were significantly increased. The first- principles calculation also indicated that Ti-1Zr-Ta possesses the lowest Young’s modulus and the best ductility, showing great potential of biomedical applications which agrees with the results of experimental results of alloy preparation.

Calcium can be regulated by mitochondria and also plays a significant role in mitochondrial pathways. Recent study showed mitochondrial protein changes in the right ventricle in pulmonary arterial hypertension, which affects calcium network at the same time. The specific objective of this study is to assess the pathway of calcium transport by permeable pore in mitochondria and investigate the regulation of mitochondrial proteins in order to find the connection between mitochondrial proteins and right ventricular dysfunction in PAH (pulmonary arterial hypertension). This literature-based review came out by searching articles in Pubmed and Science Direct. And the related flow chart is expressed by the form of PRISMA. There is a network between mitochondria and calcium through the transport chain called mitochondria permeability transition pore (MPTP) as well as different kinds of proteins that are located in the mitochondria. MPTP is a kind of mitochondria pore and can have conformational changes after protein phosphorylation or reaction between mitochondrial proteins to activate the apoptosis capase cascade process in cell death. In addition, MPTP can be activated by other mitochondrial protein like signal transducer activator of transcription3 (STAT3) to activate cytochrome c in pro-apoptosis to initiate cell death at the same time. The most obvious finding from this study is the role of calcium regulation in therapeutic treatment in PAH patients, which suggest an imaginable role for calcium transporter like mitochondria calcium uniporter (MCU) promoting bio-markers in cardiovascular disease resulting from mitochondrial dysfunction. In addition, right ventricle is a target of PAH in which mitochondria in RV would play an essential role in pathways such as ATP production via mitochondria metabolism.

The modulation of surface properties of Ti3C2Tx plays a crucial role in its diverse applications across various fields. However, a straightforward and reliable technique for controlling its surface functional groups remains elusive. In this study, we achieved controlled modification of Ti3C2Tx surface functional groups using atmospheric‐pressure cold plasma. We evaluated the plasma generation characteristics and found that the gas parameters could influence the discharge power and lead to different gas temperatures with the same voltage. Spectral analysis confirmed the presence of numerous reactive species in the plasma, facilitating the breaking and recombination of chemical bonds of functional groups on the Ti3C2Tx surface. The interaction between the plasma jet and Ti3C2Tx film revealed that the semiconductor properties of the Ti3C2Tx film limit the plasma diffusion area, while N2 doping and increased gas flow rates respectively reduce and enlarge the coverage area of cold plasma. A brief one‐minute cold plasma treatment induced a slight etching effect on the Ti3C2Tx film surface, effectively altering the ‐O and ‐F functional groups. However, it is noteworthy that excessive cold plasma treatment in the air may result in partial oxidation of Ti3C2Tx, necessitating the use of custom gas environments in further applications. As an endemic species of the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau, the Plateau Pika (Ochotona curzoniae) exhibits adaptation to the extremely high-altitude environment and possesses a number of distinct physiological characteristics. In order to explore potential mechanisms underlying the adaptation of plateau pikas, we investigate transcriptomic differences across tissues (heart, liver, spleen, lung, kidney, muscle, cerebellum, left brain, and right brain) of the Plateau Pika, in a comparative framework. We analyze possible mechanisms of adaptive evolution by including a transcriptome analysis across the 9 tissues from 3 male and 4 female O. curzonia e and contrasting results with the 8 male and 4 female Gansu Pika (O. cansus) that inhabits the lower middle altitudes. Differential expression and protein–protein interaction network analyses were used to identify the differentially expressed genes and their primary functions. By analyzing interspecific differences, we identified significant adaptive transcriptional changes in the heart, lung, and spleen of the Plateau Pika. Specifically, upregulated genes in these tissues not only show a substantial association with apoptosis and DNA damage repair, but also demonstrate apparent enrichment in biological pathways related to energy metabolism and immune regulation. The majority of downregulated genes exhibit decreased activity in metabolic pathways particularly in muscle, spleen, kidney, and brain tissues. We further reveal the pivotal gene interaction networks of the 9 tissues. Our study provides valuable insight into adaptive mechanisms underlying evolution of Plateau Pika at extreme altitudes. The issue of hair loss has become an increasing concern due to growing societal pressures. Currently available hair loss treatments often produce unsatisfactory results, cause significant physical damage, and are costly. Non-thermal atmospheric pressure plasma has been widely used in various biomedical fields, including sterilization, coagulation promotion, and cancer treatment. This paper pioneered the use of a kind of portable pulsed plasma jet power supply in the resting period of mouse hair follicle, and found that plasma jet can effectively shorten the resting period of mouse hair follicle, so that they re-enter the regeneration period and grow hair. Plasma bullets in atmospheric pressure plasma jets have drawn much scholarly attention in the past decade, especially its shape. This Letter reports the formation and evolution mechanism of a solid-in-hollow structured bullet. At high pulse repetition frequency (≥20 kHz) and long rising time (≥200 ns), the traditional hollow ring bullet turns into the solid-in-hollow structure, and the plasma plume correspondingly appears as a purple external plume with an extra internal filamentary red core under bare eyes. An image process method based on color recognition and decoupling is designed to separate the images of the external plume and the internal filamentary core and is then used to analyze the discharge mechanism together with the intensified charge-coupled device imaging and spectrum measurement. Analyses reveal that the dominant ionization sources for external ring and internal core are N2 and He, respectively, and the internal discharge can be enhanced by increasing the pulse repetition frequency, which might be explained by the electron oscillating heating in high frequency. Finally, the evolution mechanism of the internal filamentary core is studied, and the internal discharge is initially a hollow ring as well when it just exits the tube end, making the bullet a hollow-in-hollow structure, but quickly contracts into a solid core due to the Coulomb repulsion between the two plasma rings. Plasmas have emerged as a promising technology for the utilization of NH3 as a carbon-free fuel for direct plasmas-assisted combustion and hydrogen production. This study aims to explore the electrical and optical emission characteristics of the rotating gliding arc (RGA) discharge in NH3 and air swirling flows over a wide range of nominal power inputs. The electrical characteristics were measured using voltage–current probes, while a spectrometer was employed to assess the spectral characteristics. Additionally, a synchronized high-speed camera equipped with a dual-scope objective was utilized to capture transient phenomena of the arc in the optical emission spectrum. Both the spark-type and glow-type discharges were observed in RGA. Interestingly, the spark-type discharge frequency exhibited a non-monotonic variation with increasing nominal power inputs for both NH3 and air, while the glow-type discharge frequency displayed a monotonous upward trend. Regarding the spectral emission characteristics in NH3, a dramatic transition of the arc emission spectrum from Hα to NH2* was observed as nominal power inputs increased. The Hα and NH2* emissions that are dominated in the spark-type and glow-type discharges, respectively, and the intensity ratio of Hα and NH2* emission shows evident correlations with discharge current and electric field strength. An atmospheric pressure low-temperature plasma jet has a promising application prospect in biomedical fields due to its low operating temperature and its ability to act in open space. In this paper, a mouse excisional wound splinting (MEWS) model is developed using a BALB/c strain of mice. A pulsed low-temperature plasma jet close to the human temperature is generated to treat the wound of the mouse skin. We have demonstrated that the pulsed low-temperature plasma jet can effectively promote wound healing. The large number of active particles contained in the plasma, such as reactive oxygen species, reactive nitrogen species, etc., may be responsible for its ability to increase the wound healing rate and promote skin tissue regeneration. The MEWS model adopted in this experiment reduces the interference in the evaluation of the wound healing effect caused by skin contraction and wound dressing, and thus is closer to the healing process of human wounds, and the method of wound area acquisition and calculation based on image processing reduces human interference and is more standardized, which can be used to evaluate the effect of the pulsed low-temperature plasma jet on promoting wound healing. Poly(acrylic acid-co-acrylamide)/sodium carboxymethyl cellulose/vermiculite (VMT) superabsorbent polymers (SAPs) were prepared by frontal polymerization (FP), a kind of polymerization model characterized by short reaction times and low-energy consumption. The effects of VMT content and monomer ratios on frontal parameters and water absorbency were investigated. Due to the good heat insulation property of VMT, the propagating front still sustained at high VMT concentrations (over 30%). The preparation of SAPs with high VMT-loading via FP has advantages of low energy consumption and low materials prices, decreasing the cost of SAPs effectively. SAPs with slow-release fertilizer (SSRF) were obtained by embedding urea into their networks during the FP process. The addition of urea not only endows SAPs with slow release function of urea (more than 30 days in soil), but also increases their water absorbency (by 17.4%). The effects of obtained SSRF on tall fescue seeds germination and growth were studied. Bergenin (BER), a natural component of polyphenols, has a variety of pharmacological activities, especially in improving drug metabolism, reducing cholestasis, anti-oxidative stress and inhibiting inflammatory responses. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of BER on liver injury induced by isonicotinic acid hydrazide (INH) and rifampicin (RIF) in mice. The mice model of liver injury was established with INH (100 mg/kg)+RIF (100 mg/kg), and then different doses of BER were used to intervene. The pathological morphology and biochemical indicators of mice were detected. Meanwhile, RNA sequencing was performed to screen the differentially expressed genes and signaling pathways. Finally, critical differentially expressed genes were verified by qRT-PCR and Western blot. RNA sequencing results showed that 707 genes were significantly changed in the INH+RIF group compared with the Control group, and 496 genes were significantly changed after the BER intervention. These differentially expressed genes were mainly enriched in the drug metabolism, bile acid metabolism, Nrf2 pathway and TLR4 pathway. The validation results of qRT-PCR and Western blot were consistent with the RNA sequencing. Therefore, BER alleviated INH+RIF-induced liver injury in mice. The mechanism of BER improving INH+RIF-induced liver injury was related to regulating drug metabolism enzymes, bile acid metabolism, Nrf2 pathway and TLR4 pathway. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

We develop a Fredholm theory for the Hodge Laplacian in weighted spaces on ALG∗ manifolds in dimension four. We then give several applications of this theory. First, we show the existence of harmonic functions with prescribed asymptotics at infinity. A corollary of this is a non-existence result for ALG∗ manifolds with non-negative Ricci curvature having group Γ = { e } at infinity. Next, we prove a Hodge decomposition for the first de Rham cohomology group of an ALG∗ manifold. A corollary of this is vanishing of the first Betti number for any ALG∗ manifold with non-negative Ricci curvature. The mammalian brain, with its complexity and intricacy, poses significant challenges for researchers aiming to understand its inner workings. Optical multilayer interference tomography (OMLIT) is a novel, promising imaging technique that enables the mapping and reconstruction of mesoscale all-cell brain atlases and is seamlessly compatible with tape-based serial scanning electron microscopy (SEM) for microscale mapping in the same tissue. However, currently, OMLIT suffers from imperfect coatings, leading to background noise and image contamination. In this study, we introduced a new imaging configuration using carbon spraying to eliminate the tape-coating step, resulting in reduced noise and enhanced imaging quality. We demonstrated the improved imaging quality and validated its applicability through a correlative light–electron imaging workflow. Our method successfully reconstructed all cells and vasculature within a large OMLIT dataset, enabling basic morphological classification and analysis. We also show that this approach can perform effectively on thicker sections, extending its applicability to sub-micron scale slices, saving sample preparation and imaging time, and increasing imaging throughput. Consequently, this method emerges as a promising candidate for high-speed, high-throughput brain tissue reconstruction and analysis. Serial scanning electron microscopy (sSEM) has recently been developed to reconstruct complex largescale neural connectomes, through learning-based instance segmentation. However, blurry images are inevitable amid prolonged automated data acquisition due to imprecision in autofocusing and autostigmation, which impose a great challenge to accurate segmentation of the massive sSEM image data. Recently, learning-based methods, such as adversarial learning and supervised learning, have been proven to be effective for blind EM image deblurring. However, in practice, these methods suffer from the limited training dataset and the underrepresentation of high-resolution decoded features. Here, we propose a semisupervised learning guided progressive decoding network (SGPN) to exploit unlabeled blurry images for training and progressively enrich high-resolution feature representation. The proposed method outperforms the latest deblurring models on real SEM images with much less ground truth input. The improvement of the PSNR and SSIM is 1.04 dB and 0.086, respectively. We then trained segmentation models with deblurred datasets and demonstrated significant improvement in segmentation accuracy. This study aims to determine the impact of investment behavior on financial markets during COVID-19 with respect to the UK. This study is quantitative, where the data has been gathered from the primary sources of information, i.e., through a survey questionnaire. The researcher adopted the non-probability convenience sampling through which 337 responses were gathered. The questionnaire was self-administered, which was based on 7 points Likert scale. Concerning the analysis, the SEM technique has been adopted in which CFA and path analysis were carried out to determine the impact of variables. The study's analysis determined significant moderation of COVID-19 uncertainty over the relationship of risk perception and general risk to tolerance. Similarly, the moderation of COVID-19 uncertainty over the relationship of risk perception and financial risk to tolerance was also determined. Additionally, the profitability rate's effect was determined by the financial risk tolerance and general risk tolerance. Moreover, the effect of risk perception was also determined over the financial risk to tolerance. The spent caustic with strong alkali first replaced the alkali activator to prepare the geopolymer. The influence of spent caustic to the geopolymer was characterized through compressive strength measurement, XRD, MIP analysis and NMR, and the immobilization efficiency of organic in geopolymer was evaluated through the measurement of total organic carbon (TOC). The results show that the spent caustic can partially replace the alkali activator to prepare the geopolymer, and it shows a better performance than that which was activated with pure NaOH solution when the alkalinity is between 4 mol and 14 mol. The organic matter in the spent alkali can be effectively fixed in the geopolymer, which will hinder the geopolymerization in the initial stage of the polymerization reaction but has little effect on the chemical structure and mechanical properties of the final product. With the degree of alkalinity increasing, the immobilization efficiency is improved, and the maximum can reach 84.5%. The organics in the spent caustic will hinder geopolymerization at the initial stage but has little effect on the chemical structure and mechanical property of the final product. The effect of pulsed electric fields (PEFs) applied on the enzymes horseradish peroxidase (HRP) and pectinesterase (PE), which widely exist in vegetable and fruit juices, was investigated using chambers with paralleled plane electrode and coaxial cylinder electrode, respectively. The experimental results show that the relative activity of HRP and PE decreased after PEF treatment. Inactivation effect of HRP and PE increased with the increase of the applied electric strength and the number pulses. HRP activity decreased 14.4 % and 16.7 % in the parallel-plane chamber and the coaxial cylinder chamber, respectively, at 207 pulses of 25 kV/cm, while a 17% (coaxial) and 16.46% (plane) reduction, respectively, was attained for PE under the same experimental condition. Inactivation effect of HRP and PE in the chamber with coaxial-cylinder-electrode configuration was better than the parallel-plane electrode. The circular-dichroism analysis showed that PEF treatment caused a loss of [alpha]-helix and change of the secondary-conformation structure of HRP enzyme. The fluorescence intensity of both enzymes also changed after PEF treatment, indicating that conformation changes occur in the local structure of the enzyme molecule.
