Single‐atom catalysts (SACs) have rapidly become a hot topic in photocatalytic research due to their unique physical and chemical properties, high activity, and high selectivity. Among many semiconductor carriers, the special structure of carbon nitride (C3N4) perfectly meets the substrate requirements for stabilizing SACs; they can also compensate for the photocatalytic defects of C3N4 materials by modifying energy bands and electronic structures. Therefore, developing advanced C3N4‐based SACs is of great significance. In this review, we focus on elucidating efficient preparation strategies and the burgeoning photocatalytic applications of C3N4‐based SACs. We also outline prospective strategies for enhancing the performance of SACs and C3N4‐based SACs in the future. A comprehensive array of methodologies is presented for identifying and characterizing C3N4‐based SACs. This includes an exploration of potential atomic catalytic mechanisms through the simulation and regulation of atomic catalytic behaviors and the synergistic effects of single or multiple sites. Subsequently, a forward‐looking perspective is adopted to contemplate the future prospects and challenges associated with C3N4‐based SACs. This encompasses considerations, such as atomic loading, regulatory design, and the integration of machine learning techniques. It is anticipated that this review will stimulate novel insights into the synthesis of high‐load and durable SACs, thereby providing theoretical groundwork for scalable and controllable applications in the field. Direct current microgrid (DCMG) clusters are gaining popularity in power systems due to their simplicity and high efficiency. However, DCMG clusters are susceptible to minor disturbances due to low system inertia. This paper proposes a method to enhance the small‐signal stability of a DCMG cluster by optimizing the main control parameters of the system. This paper presents a small‐signal state‐space model of a DCMG cluster system at the system level, considering a multi‐bus network topology. Then, the control parameters that significantly affect the small‐signal stability of the DCMG are selected using the participation factor method. To enhance the system damping, the Pareto‐optimal frontier of the bi‐objective problem was determined using the elite non‐dominated sorting genetic algorithm (NSGA‐II). The optimal compromise is determined by using the fuzzy membership function method to extract it from the generated Pareto optimal front. Kidney beans (KBs), as a traditional edible legume, are an important food crop of high nutritional and economic value worldwide. KBs contain a full range of amino acids and a high proportion of essential amino acids, and are rich in carbohydrates as well as vitamins and minerals. However, KBs contain a variety of non-nutritional factors that impede the digestion and absorption of nutrients, disrupt normal metabolism and produce allergic reactions, which severely limit the exploitation of KBs and related products. Suppressing or removing the activity of non-nutritional factors through different processing methods can effectively improve the application value of KBs and expand the market prospect of their products. The aim of this review was to systematically summarize the main types of non-nutritional factors in KBs and their mechanisms of action, and to elucidate the effects of different food processing techniques on non-nutritional factors. The databases utilized for the research included Web of Science, PubMed, ScienceDirect and Scopus. We considered all original indexed studies written in English and published between 2012 and 2023. We also look forward to the future research direction of producing KB products with low non-nutritional factors, which will provide theoretical basis and foundation for the development of safer and healthier KB products. Opencast coal mine production and construction activities have a certain impact on the ecological environment, while the development and utilization of large coal bases distributed in semi-arid steppe regions may have a more direct and significant impact on the eco-environment. Therefore, in-depth studies of the ecological impacts of human activities and natural environmental elements in opencast coal mines in typical semi-arid steppe regions and analyses of their driving forces are of great significance for protecting and restoring regional fragile steppe ecosystems. In this paper, the mining area southwest of the Shengli coalfield, a typical ore concentration area in eastern Inner Mongolia, was selected as the research object. Its remote sensing ecological index (RSEI) was calculated using the Google Earth Engine (GEE) platform to analyze the eco-environmental quality in the mining area and its surrounding 2 km from 2005 to 2021. The geographically weighted artificial neural network model (GWANN) was combined with the actual situation of mining activity and ecological restoration to discuss the driving factors of eco-environmental quality change in the study area. The results showed that: (1) the proportion of the study area with excellent and good eco-environmental quality increased from 20.96% to 23.93% from 2005 to 2021, and the proportions of areas with other quality grades fluctuated strongly. (2) The change in eco-environmental quality in the interior of the mining area was closely related to the reclamation of dump sites and migration of the mining area. (3) The maximum contribution rate of the mining activity factor to the external eco-environmental quality of the mining area reached 43.33%, with an annual average contribution rate of 34.48%; as the distance from the mining area increased, its contribution gradually decreased. This quantitative analysis of the driving forces of RSEI change in the mining area will complement future work in ecological evaluations of mining areas while also improving the practicality of ecological evaluation at the mining scale, thereby further helping the ecological management of mining areas. Purpose: A novel grafted temperature-responsive ReO4− Imprinted composite membranes (Re-ICMs) was successfully prepared by using polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) resin membranes as substrates, this study aimed to separate and purify ReO effectively. Design/methodology/approach: Re-ICMs were synthesized by PVDF resin membranes as the substrate, acrylic acid (AA), acrylamide (AM), ethylene glycol dimethacrylate (EGDMA) were functional monomers. The morphology and structure of Re-ICMs were characterized by scanning electron microscope and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. Findings: The maximum adsorption capacity toward ReO4− was 0.1,163 mmol/g and the separation decree had relation to MnO4− was 19.3. The optimal operation conditions were studied detailedly and the results as follows: the molar ratios of AA, AM, EGDMA, ascorbic acid, NH4ReO4, were 0.8, 0.96, 0.02, 0.003 and 0.006. The optimal time and temperature were 20 h and 40°C, respectively. The Langmuir and pseudo-second-order models were fit these adsorption characteristics well. Practical implications: Rhenium (Re) is mainly used to chemical petroleum and make superalloys for jet engine parts. This study was representing a technology in separate and purify of Re, which provided a method for the development of the petroleum and aviation industry. Originality/value: This contribution provided a novel method to separate ReO4− from MnO4−. The maximum adsorption capacity was 0.1163 mmol/g at 35°C and the adsorption equilibrium time was within 2 h. Meanwhile, the adsorption selectivity rate ReO4−/MnO4− was 19.3 and the desorption rate was 78.3%. Controlling the adsorption experiment at 35°C and desorption experiment at 25°C in aqueous solution, it could remain 61.3% of the initial adsorption capacity with the adsorption selectivity rate of 13.3 by 10 adsorption/desorption cycles, a slight decrease, varied from 78.3% to 65.3%, in desorption rate was observed. In this article, a sensorless control method based on signal injection and a high-pass filter (HPF) circuit is presented to control the unsymmetrical bistable multimagnetic circuit permanent magnetic actuator. In this method, a high-frequency sinusoidal signal was indirectly injected into the idle phase via a HPF circuit, and the peak of the high-frequency capacitance current was measured, which was used to calculate the idle phase inductance. Thereafter, the mover position was calculated by the one-to-one relationship between the idle phase inductance and the mover position. Combined with the HPF circuit and the proposed average current peak algorithm, the influences of back-EMF and coil resistance were eliminated. The magnetic saturation effects can also be ignored in the proposed strategy. The estimated noise, caused by measurement noise and signal distortion, was filtered using a simple mathematical filter. The control of cargo phase‐transfer is of interest for many applications in science and technology. Herein, we report a simple, versatile and robust method to block the phase‐transfer of cargo colloids by interfacial self‐assembled amphiphilic polymer molecules. After simply increasing the concentration of amphiphilic polymers, the orientation of interfacial polymer molecules changed from flat to upright, forming a thick three‐dimensional polymer layer at the oil‐water interface. Even under fierce external force, this thick interfacial layer robustly prevented the phase‐transfer of cargo colloids, resulting in an ultrahigh encapsulation efficiency (up to 97.1 %) for proteins and peptides. One single injection of high insulin‐loaded microcomposites (58.3 wt%) kept the blood glucose level within the normoglycemic state for 10 days in type 1 diabetic rats. Leaf photosynthesis is pivotal for the synthesis of carbohydrates; however, the growth and development of horticultural crops are more closely related to canopy photosynthetic capacity. Measurements of canopy photosynthesis allow a better evaluation of the fruit tree performance at the canopy scale. Therefore, an open chamber system to determine instantaneous canopy apparent photosynthesis (CAPi) was investigated. CAPi slightly overestimated the biomass accumulation by 5.9%, which revealed that the CAPi method is valuable for quantifying canopy photosynthesis. Further, many woody horticultural plants are usually grafted for propagation, such as apples, whereas the rootstocks always influence the canopy size and photosynthesis. In this study, the effect of dwarfing, semi-dwarfing, and vigorous apple rootstocks on canopy photosynthesis was studied. Compared to vigorous rootstock, dwarfing rootstock significantly reduced the leaf net photosynthetic rate and total leaf area by 20.8% and 53.1%, respectively, and resulted in a 59.7% reduction in CAPi. Simple Summary: Although β-receptor agonists are tightly controlled, there is still abuse. A general high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry detection method was developed to measure three typical β-receptor agonists; the metabolites and metabolic pathways of SAL, CLB, and RAC in rats were investigated. The results showed that the metabolites in the rats mainly existed in the form of the prototype drugs and that they still had a few metabolites. The absorption and metabolism of the different β-receptor agonists in the rats were quite different, and the absorption and metabolism of the same β-receptor agonists in different tissues were also different. This will help to modulate the receptor agonist and to study its detection and metabolism in other species. This paper developed a universal detection method by high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry to detect three typical clenbuterols, CLB, SAL, and RAC, and to investigate the metabolism of β-agonists in vivo. The parent ions and daughter ions of the three β-receptor agonist standards and the residues in the muscle, liver, and blood samples of rats were obtained by Total Ions Scan mode. The metabolites produced in different tissues at a specific time were qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed, and the corresponding metabolic pathways were inferred. The results showed that the three β-receptor agonists mainly existed in the form of prototype drugs in rats, with a small amount of clenbuterol methyl compound and albuterol methyl compound. There were significant differences in residual metabolism between different tissues of the same species. Glioma is the most common primary brain tumor that causes significant morbidity and mortality. MAPK activated protein kinase 3 (MAPKAPK3 / MK3) is a serine/threonine protein kinase regulating various cellular responses and gene expression. However, the role of MK3 in tumor progress, prognosis, and immunity for glioma remains unclear. Here, we determined the expression and prognostic values of MK3. We further analyzed the correlation of MK3 expression with immune infiltrations by using the biochemical methods and bioinformatic approaches with available databases. We find that MK3 is aberrantly upregulated in glioma. In addition, the higher MK3 expression is closely linked to the poor clinicopathologic features of glioma patients. Importantly, MK3 expression is negatively correlated with the prognosis of patients with glioma. Mechanistically, we demonstrated that the correlated genes of MK3 were mainly enriched in pathways that regulate tumor immune responses. The MK3 level was significantly associated with tumor-infiltrating immune cells and positively correlated with the majority of tumor immunoinhibitors, chemokines, and chemokine receptors in glioma. Thus, these findings suggest the novel prognostic roles of MK3 and define MK3 as a promising target for glioma immunotherapy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
