Encapsulating peritoneal sclerosis（EPS）is a rare and serious complication in patients with long-term peritoneal dialysis and a history of recurrent and severe peritoneal dialysis-associated peritonitis（PDAP）. Early diagnosis of EPS is difficult，clinical prognosis is poor，and the fatality rate is high. The pathogenesis of EPS is still not fully understood，and ideal prevention and treatment regimens are still lacking. Tamoxifen，a selective estrogen receptor modulator，is currently used in the treatment of breast cancer，ovarian cancer and some diseases characterized by fibrotic lesions. Studies have shown that tamoxifen can also be used to treat EPS. In this article，research progress in EPS and tamoxifen in the treatment of EPS was systematically reviewed.

Erythropoietin and its analogues are the most effective drugs for the treatment of anemia caused by chronic kidney disease （CKD），malignant tumors and chemotherapy，autoimmune disorders，and malnutrition，etc. However，partial patients，especially CKD patients，can generate neutralizing antibody after use of erythropoiesis-stimulating agents，thereby leading to pure red cell aplasia （PRCA） and severely affecting disease condition and clinical prognosis. Full understanding of antibody-induced PRCA contributes to delivering early diagnosis，appropriate examinations and effective treatment，and enhancing clinical prognosis of CKD patients. In this article，research progress upon antibody-induced PRCA in CKD patients was systematically reviewed.

Recently, research on the circadian rhythm of hypertension has gained popularity. However, few bibliometric analyses have been conducted in this field. In this study, CiteSpace 6.1. R6, VOSviewer 1.6.18, R language (version 4.2.3), R package Bibliometrix (4.1.2), and Microsoft Excel 365 were used to conduct the data mining and knowledge visualization analysis. A total of 1,560 papers from 1,825 institutions in 77 countries were included. Research on the role of circadian rhythms in hypertension is increasing annually. Overall, Chronobiology International published the most literature and Hypertension received the most citations. Ramon Hermida from the Universidade de Vigo in Spain published the most papers and had the most citations. The United States of America and Japan have been the most productive countries. The University of Ferrara, Universidade de Vigo, and the University of California system produced the most publications. Amongst authors, Hermida had the most and longest literature bursts. Keywords such as "chronic kidney disease," "oxidative stress," and "gene expression" have been breakout keywords since 2014. With the rapid development of new-generation cyber–physical system (CPS) technologies, the smart operation and management of the broad bean harvesting system are enabled. This paper proposed a smart broad bean harvesting system (SBHS) and a self-adaptive control method based on CPS technologies. Firstly, the overall architecture of the SBHS is designed, which consists of four main components, namely optimal intelligent perception environment configuration, digital twin model construction, virtual simulation and real-time optimization, self-adaptive adjustment and control. Then, three key enabling technologies are discussed in detail, namely, intelligent perception environment configuration for the SBHS, digital twin model construction for the SBHS, colored Petri net (CPN)-based self-adaptive analysis and control of the harvesting system. Lastly, a proof-of-concept experiment based on a cooperative company is presented to illustrate the main work logic and advantage of the proposed SBHS. After the edge–cloud cooperative intelligent harvesting environment is configured, the CPN model for the workflow of the SBHS is created to analyze and optimize the harvesting processes. In addition, a management and control platform are developed to further illustrate the implementation of the proposed SBHS and the self-adaptive control method. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Using extreme high‐speed laser cladding technology, Ni60 coatings are laser cladded onto stainless‐steel, 20# steel, and 45# steel substrates. The effect of substrate material properties on the cracking behavior, microstructure, and tribological properties of the Ni60 coating is systematically studied. The results show that as the difference of the coefficient of thermal expansion between the substrate and cladding material decreases, the tendency for crack generation in the cladding layer is reduced. In addition, the difference of the thermal physical properties of the substrate has an important effect on the temperature gradient during the cooling process of the coating, and then affects the growth rate of the grain in the coating and the overall mechanical properties of the coating. Finer grain size, fewer macroscopic coating cracks, and the evenly distributed hard phase in the Ni60 coating on the 20# steel substrate lead to better wear resistance. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Key Clinical Message: Delayed intestinal perforation has various manifestations. For peritonitis with delayed treatment and multi‐bacterial peritonitis, we should be alert to the occurrence of this rare complication. Abdominal CT examination and imaging results judgment based on clinical conditions are particularly important for diagnosis. Delayed intestinal perforation of peritoneal dialysis catheter is a rare but serious complication. We reported a 49‐year‐old patient who had been hospitalized twice within 3 months due to poor drainage of the peritoneal dialysis catheter. During the first hospitalization, peritoneal dialysis‐related peritonitis was diagnosed, and a variety of bacterial infections were cultivated. However, at that time, the actual peritoneal dialysis catheter‐related intestinal perforation was missed, and he was discharged after anti‐infection treatment until a clinical cure was met. After more than 2 months of normal peritoneal dialysis after returning home, the patient again had poor drainage of the peritoneal dialysis catheter, accompanied by the outflow of yellowish‐brown sediment. It was found that the peritoneal dialysis catheter had evidence of intestinal perforation. After the removal of the catheter and intestinal repair, he recovered and was discharged from the hospital and received long‐term hemodialysis treatment. In the case of delayed intestinal perforation, peritoneal dialysis was maintained normally for more than 2 months, which was an unprecedented situation in previous case reports. In addition, we should be alert to the occurrence of this rare complication, especially when we find the occurrence of polybacterial Peritonitis. Circular RNAs (circRNAs) have been identified in many diseases and shown to play important roles in pathological processes. The expression patterns of circRNA in uremia remains unknown. The aim of this study was to screen circRNA in plasma and peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs)in healthy controls and patients with uremia due to chronic glomerulonephritis, and to provide evidence for further exploration of the pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of uremic patients. Twenty individuals were included in this study, of which 10 were healthy and 10 were patients with uremia caused by chronic glomerulonephritis without systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE). Peripheral blood was collected from each individual in the two groups and the PBMCs were separated. The circRNAs expression profile was examined using a human circRNA microarray. The expression of differently expressed circRNAs was further validated by qRT-PCR. Seven hundred ten circRNAs were differentially expressed in the plasma in the two groups, accounting for 27.58% of the total circRNA(710/2578). Three hundred eighty-five up regulated circRNAs accounted for 14.93% and 325 down regulated circRNAs accounted for 12.60% of the total circRNAs. Additionally, 968 circRNAs were differentially expressed in PBMCs in the two groups, accounting for 29.24% of all circRNAs (968/3310).Six hundred seventy upregulated circRNAs accounted for 20.24% and 298 down regulated circRNAs accounted for 9.00% of the total circRNAs. The results of qRT-PCR validation were consistent with the microarray gene expression results. The expression profile of circRNAs was altered in the plasma and PBMCs of patients with uremia, which suggests that the changed circRNAs may be potential diagnostic biomarkers that play an important role in the pathogenesis of uremic patients. We speculate that hsa_circ_0053958, hsa_circ_0103281 may be associated with the pathogenesis of uremia and may be potential biological molecular markers for the diagnosis and prognosis of uremia.
