The emergence of nanotechnology and surface engineering techniques provides new opportunities for designing self-lubricant coatings with enhanced properties. In recent years, green coating technologies have played a vital role in environmental preservation. This article mainly reviews five typical types of self-lubricant coatings including MoN coatings, VN coatings, WN coatings and TMN (Transition Metal Nitride) soft-metal coatings, and DLC (Diamond-like Carbon) with lubricant agents deposited by PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) for the demanding tribological applications, which is the latest research into the green lubricant coatings. To address the current problems of poor seed-filling performance and seed leakage of the pneumatic seed filler for cabbage, we designed a pneumatic disturbing precision seed filler for cabbage based on the auxiliary disturbing seed-filling method. This seeder can completely perturb the seed population entering the bottom of the seed box casing during the seed-filling process, thereby increasing the initial velocity of the cabbage seeds, and facilitating the smooth progress of the seed-filling process. Firstly, we carried out a theoretical analysis based on the particle dynamics of the seed-filling process of the seeder and obtained the influencing factors affecting the seed-filling performance of the seeder. Secondly, through EDEM discrete element simulation, the average speed of the seed population, the disturbance frequency, and the degree of disturbance were used as the indicators to select the seed discharge disk structure with the best seed-filling performance. In the experimental aspect, a four-factor three-level orthogonal standardized test was conducted to evaluate the seed filling performance of the planter, using the seed suction qualification rate and the seed leakage rate as the evaluation indexes. The optimal structure of the seed discharge tray was selected through polarity analysis and ANOVA. The optimal combination of parameters for the seed-filling process of the planter was obtained; linear serrated disk, 40 rpm disk rotation speed, −2500 Pa negative fan pressure, and 1.2 mm aperture diameter. After comparative validation tests, the seed suction qualification rate of the seed absorber was 95.32%, and the leakage rate was 3.11%, which was in line with the agronomic planting of Chinese cabbage seeds. The investigation of the mechanical properties of rock mass can be effectively carried out through rock-like material experiments. In this study, polystyrene foam particles were utilized as a novel material for simulating initial damage within rocks. Our research involved the development of sandstone-like materials with comparable mechanical properties to actual sandstone. These materials were then subjected to orthogonal mechanical tests, allowing us to identify the key factors that have a substantial impact on the mechanical parameters of sandstone-like rocks. The influencing factors considered in the orthogonal mechanical tests were the proportion of aggregate and binder, the proportion of polystyrene foam in the entire model, the proportion of binder and regulator, and the size of polystyrene foam. Five levels were set for each factor, and mechanical parameters such as compressive strength, tensile strength, elastic modulus, axial strain, and Poisson's ratio were tested for each group of samples. The changes in mechanical parameters with the levels of the above four factors were studied. The study found that modifying the proportion of aggregate to binder can alter the elastic modulus, tensile strength, and compressive strength values of sandstone-like material. The size of polystyrene foam can be modified to alter the axial strain values of sandstone-like materials. Additionally, adjusting the ratio of binder and regulator can modify the value of Poisson's ratio. The comparison of mechanical parameters between sandstone-like samples and sandstone reveals that sandstone-like materials can better simulate the deformation and failure mechanisms of sandstone. The error in the main mechanical parameters, such as modulus of elasticity, strength, and Poisson's ratio, is less than 7%, indicating a greater resemblance between sandstone-like materials and sandstone. Therefore, sandstone-like materials can be used to investigate the deformation law, damage evolution law, and failure mechanism of sandstone. To solve the problem of grain loss caused by nibbling during the working process of the maize ear and stem harvesting machine, a vibrating screen-type grain-recovery device with an upper centrifugal fan was designed. The device mainly consists of a centrifugal fan and vibrating screen. The work process of the grain-recovery device is theoretically analyzed, and it is clarified that the turning of the bracts is the key to separating the bracts from the grains, and the design criteria of the vibrating screen are obtained. The CFD–EDEM coupled single-factor simulation experiment was carried out on the size of the vibrating screen sieve hole and the number of draft bars, and the motion posture of the bracts was simulated. Based on the previous CFD–EDEM coupled simulation study, the orthogonal experiment was carried out on the fan speed, vibration screen drive-shaft speed, and operation speed of the grain-recovery device. The orthogonal experimental results show that, when the fan speed is 1000 r/min, the vibration screen drive-shaft speed is 300 r/min, and the operation speed is 3.62 km/h, the performance of the grain-recovery device reaches the optimum level, and the grain recovery rate is approximately 85%. In order to solve the problems of domestic and foreign vegetable precision metering devices that easily damage seeds and have low seeding efficiency and poor qualification rate, this paper designs a one-machine for two-row pneumatic combination seeder, which is mainly composed of a pneumatic seeding mechanism and a honeycomb seeding mechanism. The mechanism and other components and theoretical analysis of the working process of the combined seed metering device clarifies the minimum negative pressure for adsorbing a seed during the suction stage, along with the negative pressure required for the seed-carrying stage. It also establishes the seeding speed and movement during planting with the trajectory parameter equation and uses ADAMS software to conduct virtual experiments on the influence of the number of holes, diameters, and heights of different types of honeycomb seeding disks on the success rate of seeding. Based on research on previous pneumatic seeding mechanisms, single factor tests, orthogonal tests, and high-speed photography tests of the honeycomb seeding disk of the combined seeder were carried out on the number of holes, the diameter of holes, and the height of seeding. The results of tests conducted on okra seeds showed that when the rotating speed of the pneumatic seeding disc was 18 r/min, the diameter of the pneumatic seeding disc hole was 2.4 mm, the vacuum degree was 3.5 kPa, the number of honeycomb seeding disc holes was 24, the hole diameter was 13 mm, and the seed height was 60 mm, the working performance of the combined seed meter reached the optimal level, which provides a reference for the development of a small seed vegetable precision seeder. In order to study the mechanism of bract peeling and crushing of a corn harvester, a bract stripping and crushing device was designed that mainly consists of a stripping device, a crushing device, and a frame. The kinematics and dynamics of the roller of bract stripping device were analyzed, and the conditions of bract stripping were obtained. Single factor tests of stripping roller speed and crushing roller speed were carried out. On the basis of single factor tests, orthogonal experiments were carried out to determine crushing roller speed, distance between crushing device axis and stripping device axis, stripping roller speed, and offset angle of stripping roller. The orthogonal experiments showed that the optimum parameters of the device were obtained: the speed of the crushing drum was 1,100 r/min, the axis distance between the stripping and crushing devices was 180 mm, the speed of the stripping roller was 400 r/min, and the offset angle of the stripping roller was 5 degrees. On the basis of orthogonal experiment, three, five, seven, nine and eleven corn feeding and high-speed photography experiments were carried out respectively. The results showed that when three ears of corn were fed at the same time, the effect of corn bract stripping and crushing was the best with the increase of corn number. The stripping roller only grasps most of the bracts of corn at 0.019 s, after stripping the bracts into the crushing device, the bracts were crushed after 0.077 s. The investigation of planetary gear dynamics including dynamic modeling and dynamic response analysis is a crucial approach in vibration reduction of industrial power transmission systems. In this paper, the nonlinear, time-varying dynamic model of a spur planetary gear system under consideration of the translational and rotational motions is investigated. The three subsystems for sun-planet, ring-planet and planet-carrier are analyzed subsequently, and the dynamic equations of the system are obtained. Moreover, different planet phasing and spacing configurations can be described by means of this model. In addition, the dynamic response is investigated by the multiple-scale method. First, the analytical solutions of the primary, superharmonic and subharmonic resonances are obtained. Then the frequency amplitude curves of different resonance modes are compared and the influence of some parameters on the vibration amplitude is studied. Meanwhile, the accuracy of the analytical solutions is evaluated by the numerical integration simulations. The results show that the frequency-amplitude curves of the primary and superharmonic resonance are similar in shape, the three solutions coexist, and the types of unstable solutions and stable solutions are identical. Furthermore, the softening nonlinearity of the subharmonic amplitude-frequency curve is more obvious under the three-dimensional model. This research is an important development of three-dimensional dynamic modeling and vibration prediction of planetary gears, and also improves the efficiency and accuracy of dynamic response calculation.
