This paper deals with the issues of the analysis of the behaviour of social media users in the context of security risk reduction in the digital environment. In this respect, the subject of this paper is the behaviour of social media users (mainly millennials, from the population of university students, attending studies in the field of security) depending on the gender. The aim of the research is to identify recommendations for a safer use of social media. To this end, the research was conducted on the basis of an anonymous survey comprising 15 questions (3 of demographic and 12 questions of essential significance). The survey covered 333 university students (undergraduate and graduate students of both genders) attending study programmes in the field of security. With the use of the Mann-Whitney test, contingency tables, the Kruskal-Wallis test, as well as the Spearman's rank correlation test, it has been established that the behaviour patterns of men and women who use social media are very similar, but that there is a substantial statistical difference in certain scenarios. In addition to this, this survey has shown that, irrespective of the gender, risks of being attacked are consciously taken when sharing personal information, along with a reckless use of devices, passwords, and passcodes. By comparing the above-mentioned conclusions with the position of the general hypothesis: "There are similarities and differences between men and women in terms of the behaviour patterns on social media and in the cyberspace in general", so the conclusion is that it is verified. One of the solutions to the identified problems in the behaviour of social media users is to raise their awareness regarding the risks of doing business and/or accessing entertainment content on social media, as well as their continuous training for the purpose of protecting their own data.

Background. Police work belongs to the category of exceptionally responsible and psychologically , socially and physically strenuous and stressful professions. Occupational pressures can lead to a significant negative change in the level of nutrition, thus affecting body structure. Therefore, the goal of this paper was to analyze body composition in Serbian police personnel as related to their professional duties. Methods. 689 healthy male participants took part in this research, a control group of 412 civilians, and a group consisting of 277 male members of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Serbia, divided into 4 subgroups: Uniformed Police Administration (Directorate) (N = 38), Police Brigade (N = 127), Gendarmerie (N = 59) and Special Anti-Terrorist Unit (N = 53). The body composition measurements were realized by using multichannel segmental bioimpedance with InBody 720 apparatus. Results. Regarding different components of body fat, in comparison to the control group, police officers were found to have a higher value of BFM-body fat mass, VFA-visceral fat area, and BFI-body fat index, as well as a lower value of PFI-protein fat index. Conclusions. In view of the fact that body fat is a ballast component in good locomotion and a health risk factor in case of large or extreme surplus, we believe that this problem should be solved systematically through permanent evaluation, improved dietary habits and more regular and intensive physical activity.

The theoretical part of the research refers to the analysis of the theoretical material regarding police subculture, with the focus of social isolation of police officers. That is what led to theoretical attitudes, on the basis of which the questions were formulated in the survey questionnaires. Two questionnaires were made, one of which referred to the attitudes of citizens, and the other one to the attitudes of police officers about social isolation of police officers. The total of 100 citizens of Sremska Mitrovica and 100 police officers of the Police Administration in Sremska Mitrovica were surveyed. The research resulted in the confirmed existence of social isolation of police officers, its perception by the citizens and police officers, causes, manifestations, consequences, recommendations and limitations in the application of the reached conclusions.

The aim of this research was to establish the position of women in the police force regarding the fact that this profession is traditionally considered to be a male working environment, in which it is easy to discern the presence of "machismo". With that in mind, it was necessary to explore the attitudes, values and convictions among the members of the police force, who are a part of the police subculture. For that purpose 90 police officers - male and female, were interviewed in the Police Department in Sremska Mitrovica. The results of the empirical research show that there is an improvement in the field of integration of women in the police force. However, there are still significant differences between male and female respondents when it comes to the comprehension of the competence of women for the police work.

The current Law on the Prevention of Domestic Violence basically regulates the organization, goals and manner of acting of competent state authorities and institutions in preventing this type of violence and in protecting victims and supporting victims of this violence in the Republic of Serbia. Experiences of competent police officers, prosecutors and judges acquired during their specialized training and nine-month practical implementation of the Law on Prevention of Domestic Violence, confirmed some of the specific characteristics, but also pointed out some problems in the implementation of the Law. Starting from this, the research whose results were presented in the work was aimed at identifying, systematizing and scientifically describing the characteristics of the Law on the Prevention of Domestic Violence that are of particular importance for understanding its essence and for its effective and efficient implementation. The results of such directed research, as particularly important characteristics of this Law, have been identified in the paper as well: 1) targeted the Law on preventive action (prevention) and higher level of expertise of officials for the application of protection of victims of violence (protection), 2) formalization of the risk assessment procedure and pronouncement of urgent measures (processing), 3) the statutory law (competence) cooperation and coordination of activities between competent authorities and institutions in its implementation (integration). Such a conception of legal solutions, conditions have been created to overcome some of the previously expressed problems of preventing domestic violence. The most significant of these are: 1) the problem of 'dark figures' as a consequence of the absence of reporting and processing of domestic violence, 2) the problem of legal and security vacuum in the protection of victims, 3) the problem of insufficient competence and the lack of cooperation between providers of prevention of domestic violence and 4) the problem of overlap and / or gap in the structure of responsibility for the protection of victims of this violence.

The current Law on Prevention of Domestic Violence in the Republic of Serbia has been adopted with the aim to regulate organization and conduct of state bodies and institutions in a general and unique manner and enable in this way efficient prevention of domestic violence as well as provide urgent, timely and effective protection and support to victims of that violence. Starting from this point, the paper deals with the following question: are the contents of theoretically determined managerial functions in the police represented in the Law on Prevention of Domestic violence, to what extent and in what way? As the most important management contents that are represented in the Law, the results of such a focused research have been identified in the paper as well: 1) general goals and ways of preventing domestic violence; 2) bodies and institutions in charge of implementing the Law; 3) specialized training of police officers, and 4) general procedures and rules for mandatory coordination of activities between bodies and institutions in charge of implementing the Law. The most important contents of planning, organization, management and control, whose distribution in the Law by research is not indicated, despite the justified need for them to be distributed in the practice of applying the Law, refer to: 1) the application of appropriate scientific methods of forecasting; 2) the inclusion of the activities of preventing domestic violence into periodic police work plans; 3) standardization of the treatment and the working methods of police officers; 4) strengthening of their professional integrity; 5) their motivation for work; 6) and evaluating their work in preventing domestic violence.

The paper proceeds from the fact that the performance of individuals and organizational units (organizations) affect their efficiency. Regarding the protection and rescue units, their key organizational performance is the response time, understood as the duration of time from the moment of receiving the fire warning until the firefighting and rescue team arrives at the place of engagement. The paper analyzes the impact of the response time of the firefighting and rescue unit on the duration of firefighting. For the analysis, operational data on fires for the area of the City of Belgrade (Serbia) were used, over a 24-year period (1986-2009). Data were processed using linear regression (Pearson Correlation) and its nonparametric alternative - Spearman's rank order correlation. It is concluded that the response time of the firefighting and rescue unit to arrive to the place of fire (organizational performance) affects the duration of firefighting, so that the shorter the response time, the shorter time it takes to extinguish the fire, with less damage caused and more goods rescued (organizational efficiency), and vice versa, the longer the response time - the longer the time of firefighting, with greater damage caused and less goods rescued.

The aim of this study was to define the actual model of body composition status of working age women in the territory of Belgrade. The sample comprised 109 women respondents, of an average age of 35.2±9.5 and the length of service = 9.6±9.3 years. All measurements were performed in the period from 2011-2012 in the Teaching -research laboratory of the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education of the University of Belgrade, by applying standardized procedure of electrical multichannel bioimpedance method. The researched encompassed twenty-two (22) variables - fourteen basic (14) and eight (8) derived (index) variables. Basic variables were: BH - body height, BM - body mass, ICF - intracellular fluid, ECW - extracellular fluid, TBW - total body fluids, Proteins, Minerals, BMC (Osseous) - bone mineral contents, BFM - total body fat mass, SMM - skeletal muscle mass, VFA - visceral fat area, BCM - body cell mass, BMR - basal metabolic rate, FIS - fitness score as assessment of body composition. The derived (index) variables were: BMI - body mass index, PBF% - percent of body fat, PBW - percent of body water, PFI - protein fat index, PSMM - percent of skeletal muscle mass, SMMD - skeletal muscle mass density, OBMi - Osseous-body mass index, PBMi - protein body mass index. The results showed that the average body mass of the respondents was 67.66±13.39 kg, body height 167.04±6.62 cm, body mass index 24.27±4.66 kg/m2, muscle mass 26.55±4.46 kg, muscle mass percentage 29.09±8.47, body fat mass 20.52±9.74 kg, body fat percentage 29.09±8.47, visceral fat area was 77.92±40.23 cm2 and fitness score 73.23±6.75 of index points. The obtained results led to the conclusion that the current morphological status of the studied women partially corresponds to a type of normal weight. BMI and the representation of body fat had nearly limiting values towards obesity. A very high percentage of women was recorded in the category of pre-obese and obese according to BMI (40%) and PSMM (36%). Based on the results of this study, it can be claimed that the four-dimensional model (4D model) of body composition of working-age women from the measured sample has the following characteristics: in women of average body mass of 67.66 kg - water content is 34.58 L or 51.11%, protein mass is 9.25 kg or 13.68%, mineral mass is 3.30 kg or 4.88% and fat mass is 20.25 kg or 30.32%.

Legal right of police to use force, especially firearms, makes modern police mission seem inconsistent: in order to protect the rights of one, the police must limit the rights of others, which raises the question of optimal measures between these opposites. The most dangerous is the police action which encroaches on the right to life, thus indirectly interfering in other human rights. This applies equally to both citizens and the offenders. In an effort to minimize the possibility of eroding the right to life, the modern police forces have developed mechanisms of so-called police negotiating. Respecting the principles of legality, humanity and expertise, members of the of specialized police units engage in negotiations with the most dangerous criminals in order to prevent them in further criminal intent on one hand and in order to solve the crisis without the use of police force, on the other. In addition a notable involvement of police negotiators in prevention of suicide attempts has been observed. In this regard, the paper explores the contribution of the negotiating team of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia to the protection of human rights in Serbia in the period 2005. - 2010.

Police diplomacy is one of the most interesting issues of the contemporary international relations. Sources of this issue comes at the beginning of XX century. Organized criminal and terrorism influenced on appearance of international police cooperation at the end of XIX century. Police cooperation has enlarged last years. Termins police attaché and liason officer are used for the same purpose, but there are four key distinctions between them.

The Police Operational Stress Questionnaire (PSQ-Op) and Police Organizational Stress Questionnaire (PSQ-Org) have been used to assess operational and organizational sources of police officers' occupational stress. Considering that different cultural and socio-economic environments could affect officers' perception of operational and organizational stress, country specific psychometric properties and cut-off values should be defined. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the psychometric properties of the Serbian version of the PSQ-Op and PSQ-Org (i.e., translated in Serbian and adjusted to Serbian culture) and to establish cut-off values for low, moderate and high stress. Methods: The PSQ-Op and PSQ-Org were administered to police officers through the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Serbia. Participants included 1220 police officers (19.0% female) who correctly completed both questionnaires. Cronbach's α was used to determine the reliability of instruments. Cut-off values for low, moderate and high stress were defined based on the mean and standard deviation of the sample and using percentile analysis. Prevalence of low, moderate and high stress was calculated according to already established cut-off values as well as those calculated based on the study sample. Results: Both instruments showed high reliability (Cronbach's α = 0.963 [95% Confidence Interval = 0.957–0.964]). Occupational stress levels (low, moderate and high) were distributed differently (p < 0.001) when categorized according to the cut-off values defined in literature and cut-off values based on the study sample. The cut-off values by mean and standard deviation could be used for PSQ-Op, while cut-off values by percentile analysis could be used for PSQ-Org. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background: Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak was a sudden unknown stressor that could cause fear among people. Police officers were in the front lines, often unknowingly in direct contact with infected individuals, thus fear of getting infected (i.e., fear of COVID-19) could be higher in this population. Police students are preparing for the job of police officers and how they cope with a sudden unknown situation could be of importance for job performance and their mental health if such a situation occurs. This study aimed to investigate the association of perceived stress and coping strategies with fear of COVID-19 in police students., Material and Methods: Perceived stress scale-10 , Brief COPE , and Fear of COVID-19 (FSV-19) were administered to 340 police students (female = 183 [53.82%] and male = 157 [46.18%]). Correlation analysis was applied to test the association between perceived stress, all dimension of coping and fear of COVID-19. Multivariate analysis of variance was used to investigate between-gender differences. For mediating and moderating effect of coping primary coping style were used., Results: MANOVA reviled that significant differences occurred in perceived stress, 3 primary coping styles and fear of COVID-19 based on a gender. Stepwise regression analysis extracted the most significant predictors of fear of COVID-19. Perceived stress was the strongest predictor in general and in both genders. Denial and self-distancing were significant coping subscales in males, while humour and denial were significant in females., Conclusions: Perceived stress and coping strategies that students used to deal with the situation moderately defined their fear of COVID-19 outbreak, with perceived stress being the strongest predictor.
