Under hygrothermal environments, the structural stability and strength of all-fiber composite aircraft are significantly affected during long-term flight use. The wing skin, as a critical structural component, plays a vital role in bearing and transmitting aerodynamic loads. Therefore, it is crucial to investigate the structural compressive stability and strength of the wing skin throughout the aircraft's entire life cycle under these conditions. This study employs a real wing carbon fiber foam sandwich structure to investigate the compressive stability and strength of the wing skin structure of a new energy aircraft under actual flight conditions, specifically during the entire process of the room temperature dry state (RTD) and elevated temperature wet state (ETW). Initially, three-point bending tests were conducted on carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) laminates, foam cores, and CFRP reinforced foam sandwich structures. The CFRP laminates fully rebounded after bending damage in both the RTD and ETW environments. While CFRP reinforced foam sandwich structures also rebounded fully in the RTD environment, their rebound performance diminished in hygrothermal conditions due to the thermoplastic mobility of the foam cores, resulting in only weak rebound capabilities. In hygrothermal environments, the thermoplastic mobility of the foam core leads to diminished resilience after bending damage, resulting in only weak rebound capabilities. Subsequently, compressive instability tests were conducted on the wing skin foam sandwich structure. The results indicated that the basic test study effectively predicted the structural test outcomes. Structural components in the RTD environment exhibited overall flexural instability under compressive load, with damage morphology resembling a circular curve; the damaged specimens fully rebounded after unloading. Conversely, specimens in the ETW environment displayed localized instability, characterized by a wrinkled damage profile, resulting in only weak rebound capabilities after unloading.

Primary myelofibrosis (PMF) is an infrequent etiology of noncirrhotic portal hypertension (PH). In clinical settings, non-cirrhotic PH is often misdiagnosed as cirrhotic PH. This case report details a patient who exhibited recurrent esophageal variceal hemorrhage and was initially misdiagnosed with cirrhosis. Initially poised for liver transplantation, the patient’s liver biopsy revealed no significant cirrhosis but showed signs of extramedullary hematopoiesis (EMH). Following the accurate diagnosis of PMF, the patient underwent standard treatment, leading to an absence of recurrent gastrointestinal hemorrhage due to esophageal varices for nearly three years.

Abstract Background Long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) has been confirmed to exert a critical effect on the progression of tumors, including prostate cancer. Previous literature has demonstrated LINC01116 involves in activities of multiple cancers. However, the underlying role of LINC01116 in prostate cancer remains unclear. Methods qRT-PCR measured the expression of LINC01116 in prostate cancer cells. EdU experiment was used to detect cell proliferation. Transwell assays detected cell migration and invasion. Immunofluorescence staining and western blot assays were utilized to measure EMT progress. The binding relationship between RNAs was confirmed by a series of mechanism assays. In addition, rescue experiments were conducted to verify the relationship among RNAs. Results LINC01116 was found to be highly expressed in prostate cancer cells. Functional assays indicated that inhibition of LINC01116 could suppress cell proliferation, migration, invasion and EMT progress. Also, miR-744-5p was proven to bind with LINC01116. Moreover, UBE2L3 was verified as the target gene of miR-744-5p. In rescue assays, we discovered that inhibited miR-744-5p or overexpressed UBE2L3 could offset the suppressive influence of silencing LINC01116 on prostate cancer cells. Conclusion Our study suggested that lncRNA LINC01116 acted as an oncogene in prostate cancer and accelerated prostate cancer cell growth through regulating miR-744-5p/UBE2L3 axis.

Peritoneal lymphomatosis is extremely rare and associated with poor prognosis. Most practitioners only pay more attention to peritoneal carcinomatosis. However, peritoneal lymphomatosis can be neglected and misdiagnosed. We report a teenager with 10 days of abdominal distension and pain accompanied by computed tomography scan suggesting diffuse thickening of the peritoneum and omentum and abdominopelvic effusion. Tuberculous peritonitis and peritoneal carcinomatosis were initially suspected. However, it was finally confirmed as non-Hodgkin’s B-cell lymphoma by omentum biopsies. He achieved complete remission after chemotherapy and autologous stem cell transplantation. But unfortunately, he suffered a relapse and died 10 months after diagnosis. Following a review of the literature, it can be concluded that the discovery of lymphomatosis in peritoneum is a rare finding. Lymphoma should be considered in the differential diagnosis of unexplained peritoneal thickening on computed tomography, and this case emphasizes the importance of early pathological diagnosis to make sure that the right treatment can be started opportunely.

Abstract Background The aim of this study was to investigate how the signaling pathway downstream of mTOR/S6K1 contributes to the regulation of SREBP-1c expression during lipogenesis in HepG2 cells. Methods The model of steatosis was established using human hepatocytes HepG2 and inducting them with sodium palmitate. mTOR, S6K1 and LXRα were inhibited by rapamycin, PF-4708671 and siRNA-LXRα, respectively. After a variety of different treatment, the levels of intracellular triglycerides, the accumulation of lipid droplets and the expression levels of related genes were detected. Results Rapamycin, PF-4708671 and siRNA-LXRα treatment could decrease the accumulation of triglycerides and lipid droplets induced by sodium palmitate in HepG2 cells, and the inhibitory effect could be enhanced by the combination of them. Sodium palmitate stimulated the expression of genes encoding mTOR, S6K1, LXRα, SREBP-1c and SREBP-1c target enzymes (FAS and ACC1) in HepG2 cells. Moreover, these genes were sensitive to rapamycin. PF-4708671 also decreased the expression of these genes, except for the mTOR gene, and the extent of reduction could be enhanced by combination with rapamycin. Knockdown of LXRα decreased the expression of SREBP-1c, FAS and ACC1, but it had no effect on the expression of mTOR or S6K1. Furthermore, rapamycin and PF-4708671 enhanced the inhibitory effect of siRNA-LXRα. Conclusions mTOR/S6K1 regulates the SREBP-1c signaling pathway through LXRα in sodium palmitate-induced HepG2 cells, suggesting LXRα might be a potential therapeutic target for NAFLD.

Ablation is an erosive phenomenon with removal of material by a combination of thermo-mechanical, thermo-chemical, and thermo-physical factors with high temperature, pressure, and velocity of combustion flame. Materials with outstanding thermo-mechanical and thermo-chemical properties are required for future high-temperature components. C/SiC is a kind of great potential high-temperature structural material in aeronautics and astronautics with low specific weight, high specific strength, good thermal stability, oxidation resistance and excellent resistance to ablation. In this paper, the ablation phenomenon and mechanisms were summarized adequately. The ablated surface of C/SiC composites could be divided into three regions from center to external. In general, the higher the density, the lower the ablation rate; the lower the ablation temperature and less time, the lower the ablation rate, and the preparation methods also had a great influence on the ablation property. Thermo-physical and thermo-mechanical attacks were the main ablation behavior in the center region; oxidation was the main ablation behavior in the transition region and the border oxidation region.

Neural networks have greatly promoted the development of hyperspectral unmixing (HU). Most data-driven deep networks extract features of hyperspectral images (HSIs) by stacking convolutional layers to achieve endmember extraction and abundance estimation. Some model-driven networks have strong interpretability but fail to mine the deep feature. We propose a variable-iterative fully convolutional neural network (VIFCNN) for sparse unmixing, combining the characteristics of these two networks. Under the model-driven iterative framework guided by sparse unmixing by variable splitting and augmented lagrangian (SUnSAL), a data-driven spatialspectral feature learning module and a spatial information updating module are introduced to enhance the learning of data information. Experimental results on synthetic and real datasets show that VIFCNN significantly outperforms several traditional unmixing methods and two deep learning--based methods. On real datasets, our method improves signal-to-reconstruction error by 17.38%, reduces abundance root-mean-square error by 25.24%, and reduces abundance spectral angle distance by 31.40% compared with U-ADMM-BUNet. Abstract It has been validated that enhancing crystallinity and passivating the deep‐level defect are critical for improving the device performance of kesterite Cu2ZnSn(S,Se)4 (CZTSSe) solar cells. Coordination chemistry interactions within the Cu‐Zn‐Sn‐S precursor solution play a crucial role in the management of structural defects and the crystallization kinetics of CZTSSe thin films. Therefore, regulating the coordination environment of anion and cation in the precursor solution to control the formation process of precursor films is a major challenge at present. Herein, a synergetic crystallization modulation and defect passivation method is developed using P2S5 as an additive in the CZTS precursor solution to optimize the coordination structure and improve the crystallization process. The alignment of theoretical assessments with experimental observations confirms the ability of the P2S5 molecule to coordinate with the metal cation sites of CZTS precursor films, especially more liable to the Zn2+, effectively passivating the Zn‐related defects, thereby significantly reducing the defect density in CZTSSe absorbers. As a result, the device with a power conversion efficiency of 14.36% has been achieved. This work provides an unprecedented strategy for fabricating high‐quality thin films by anion‐coordinate regulation and a novel route for realizing efficient CZTSSe solar cells.

Abstract Purpose This study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of anesthesia management strategies employed in pediatric lung transplantation. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on data from 14 pediatric patients who underwent lung transplantation at the Wuxi Center between September 2019 and November 2022. Patient demographics, surgical particulars, airway management, utilization of extracorporeal support, fluid administration, blood gas and electrolyte profiles, and postoperative outcomes were systematically documented and subsequently summarized. Results Of the 14 patients, 7 received extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) and 1 received cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB). The average operation time was 303 ± 53 min, with the median extubation time of 26 h. The entirety of pediatric lung transplant procedures was executed successfully, resulting in the discharge of thirteen patients postoperatively. Regrettably, one patient died due to infectious shock on the fourth postoperative day. Conclusion The achievement of successful pediatric lung transplantation necessitates effective perioperative anesthesia management, with a focal emphasis on circulatory control. Real-time measurements serve as the cornerstone for decision-making. Proactive administration of vasoactive agents is integral to sustaining hemodynamic stability. The judicious assessment of ECMO necessity is paramount, favoring central ECMO during the surgical intervention.

Abstract The recent emerging progress of quantum dot ink (QD-ink) has overcome the complexity of multiple-step colloidal QD (CQD) film preparation and pronouncedly promoted the device performance. However, the detrimental hydroxyl (OH) ligands induced from synthesis procedure have not been completely removed. Here, a halide ligand additive strategy was devised to optimize QD-ink process. It simultaneously reduced sub-bandgap states and converted them into iodide-passivated surface, which increase carrier mobility of the QDs films and achieve thicker absorber with improved performances. The corresponding power conversion efficiency of this optimized device reached 10.78%. (The control device was 9.56%.) Therefore, this stratege can support as a candidate strategy to solve the QD original limitation caused by hydroxyl ligands, which is also compatible with other CQD-based optoelectronic devices.

Endophenazine A is a terpenoid phenazine with phenazine-1-carboxylic acid (PCA), and dimethylallyl diphosphate (DMAPP) derived from the 2-methyl-D-erythritol-4-phosphate (MEP) pathway as the precursor, which shows good antimicrobial activity against several Gram-positive bacteria and fungi. However, the highest yield of endophenazine A was about 20 mg/L in Streptomyces, limiting its large-scale industrial development. Pseudomonas chlororaphis P3, possessing an efficient PCA synthesis and MEP pathways, is a suitable chassis to synthesize endophenazine A. Herein, we designed an artificial biosynthetic pathway for the synthesis of endophenazine A in P. chlororaphis P3. Primarily, the prenyltransferase PpzP from Streptomyces anulatus 9663 was introduced into P. chlororaphis P3 and successfully synthesized endophenazine A. Another phenazine compound, endophenazine A1, was discovered and identified as a leakage of the intermediate 4-hydroxy-3-methyl-2-butene pyrophosphate (HMBPP). Finally, the yield of endophenazine A reached 279.43 mg/L, and the yield of endophenazine A1 reached 189.2 mg/L by metabolic engineering and medium optimization. In conclusion, we successfully synthesized endophenazine A and endophenazine A1 in P. chlororaphis P3 for the first time and achieved the highest titer, which provides a reference for the heterologous synthesis of terpenoid phenazines.

This paper considers the pricing issue of vulnerable European option when the dynamics of the underlying asset value and counterparty’s asset value follow two correlated exponential Lévy processes with stochastic volatility, and the stochastic volatility is divided into the long-term and short-term volatility. A mean-reverting process is introduced to describe the common long-term volatility risk in underlying asset price and counterparty’s asset value. The short-term fluctuation of stochastic volatility is governed by a mean-reverting process. Based on the proposed model, the joint moment generating function of underlying log-asset price and counterparty’s log-asset value is explicitly derived. We derive a closed-form solution for the vulnerable European option price by using the Fourier inversion formula for distribution functions. Finally, numerical simulations are provided to illustrate the effects of stochastic volatility, jump risk, and counterparty credit risk on the vulnerable option price.

This paper considers a d-dimensional stochastic optimization problem in neuroscience. Suppose the arm’s movement trajectory is modeled by high-order linear stochastic differential dynamic system in d-dimensional space, the optimal trajectory, velocity, and variance are explicitly obtained by using stochastic control method, which allows us to analytically establish exact relationships between various quantities. Moreover, the optimal trajectory is almost a straight line for a reaching movement; the optimal velocity bell-shaped and the optimal variance are consistent with the experimental Fitts law; that is, the longer the time of a reaching movement, the higher the accuracy of arriving at the target position, and the results can be directly applied to designing a reaching movement performed by a robotic arm in a more general environment.

With regard to the adiabatic principle of insulation, a novel multilayer cladding structure composites (MCSC) with vacuum inside was put forward, which could be used in high temperature insulation field. In the composites, SiO2 was used to fill the microcracks and protect the carbon matrix from oxidizing. This novel material was composed of two parts, one was the core material consisted of SiC foam ceramic, the other was the flawless outer shell consisted of carbon fiber reinforced composites with vacuum inside that produced by Chemical Vapor Infiltration (CVI) Pyrolytic Carbon (PyC) and silicasol-infiltration-sintering methods. Material density was 0.81 g/cm³. The effective thermal conductivity of MCSC ranged from 0.193 W/m · K to 0.721 W/m· K within the temperature from 303 K to 703 K, which was 13.5-23.3% lower than the value of SiC ceramic foam core materials. However, at 1473 K, the measured data of MCSC and SiC foam were 1.815 W/m · K and 1.911 W/m · K, respectively. It was only 5.02% lower than that of SiC foam. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
