This study was carried out to examine the social appearance anxiety of the faculty of sports sciences and faculty of education in terms of some variables. In this context, the social appearance anxiety scale was applied to the students of the sports sciences who received sports education and the students of the education faculty who did not receive sports education. Independent samples t-test, one-way ANOVA, and LSD tests were used to analyze the data. As a result of the analysis, the social appearance anxiety scale score was found 34.43 in women and 35.11 in men. On the other hand, the social appearance anxiety scale score was found to be 32.89 in students of faculty of sport sciences and 36.68 in students of faculty of education. There was no significant difference in social appearance anxiety scale scores in terms of gender variable (p>0.05). A significant difference was observed in the social appearance anxiety scale scores in terms of sport education status variable (p<0.001). The social appearance anxiety scores of the students who were satisfied with their own body weight and height were found lower than those who were not satisfied, which was found statistically significant (p<0.001). The results of this research showed that the social appearance anxiety of students of the faculty of sport sciences who receive sports education is lower than those of the faculty of education students who do not receive sports education.

This research is conducted to determine the physical profiles of sitting volleyball players of the Turkish National Team. 12 male players from Turkish Sitting Volleyball National Team volunteered to participate in the study. The anthropometric measurements were taken over dominant extremity. In order to determine the physical features of the participants' tests and measurements were made regarding stature, body weight, BMI, upper body length, upper extremity length, arm length, forearm length, hand length, arm circumference, forearm circumference, upper body length, modified sit-ups, modified abdominal endurance, modified push-ups, hand grasping power, plate tapping, and shoulder flexibility. SPSS 21.0 program was used in the analysis of the data, and minimum, maximum, arithmetic mean, and standard deviation values were determined. As a conclusion, it can be mentioned that the anthropometric measurements of the players and modified bio-motor test results of the disabled individuals will inspire the sports scientists/trainers and this data are vital with regards to selection of the players.

The aim of this study is to examine the relation between burnout level and general self-efficacy beliefs of academicians working in School of Physical Education and Sport. 178 Academicians working at various universities in Turkey participated in this study. The General Self-Efficacy Scale developed by Schwarzer and Jerusalem (1995), adapted to Turkish by Yesilay, Schwarzer and Jerusalem (1997) and "Occupational Burnout Scale" developed by Maslach (1981), adapted to Turkish version by Ergin (1982), were used to collect data. Collected data was analyzed with Independent t-test and Pearson Product Correlation in SPSS 16.0 package program. As result of this study, negative correlation between general self-efficacy beliefs and burnout levels of academicians have been found.
