Present study aimed to explore the effects of intermittent cold-exposure (ICE) on culprit plaque morphology in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) in frigid zone.

In today’s economic society, the development of the financial industry plays an increasingly important role in promoting the economy. Throughout the world and domestic provinces, economic development must be accompanied by the development of the financial industry, and the development of the financial industry will further promote economic growth. Therefore, this paper studies the factors promoting economic development from the perspective of financial industry. Combined with the economic situation and the current situation of the financial industry in Shanxi Province, using the time series data from 2000 to 2019, this paper analyzes the relationship between the change of economic growth and the change of financial output and the scale of financial development, constructs a VAR model, and carries out Granger causality test and variance decomposition. The results show that for Shanxi Province, the scale of financial development can promote economic growth and is a two-way causality, while financial output is not the cause of economic growth, and its impact has a negative response to economic growth. Finally, according to the research results, this paper puts forward some suggestions to improve the scale of financial development to promote the economic growth of Shanxi Province.

Since the reform and opening up, China’s economic growth has attracted worldwide attention, and people’s living standards have been significantly improved. However, China’s economic growth shows an unbalanced trend, that is, the level of economic growth in the central and western regions is far lower than that in the eastern regions, and the gap between regional economic growth is still widening, which seriously hinders the construction of a harmonious society in China. The allocation of financial resources will play a mainstay role in economic development. Therefore, it is important to pay attention to the relationship between the imbalance of regional economic growth and the allocation of financial resources. This paper chooses GDP per capita to represent regional economy, and chooses deposit loan ratio, industrial structure, financial expenditure per capita, foreign capital per capita and insurance premium per capita to represent financial resource allocation. Using the above variables to build a panel regression model, according to the coefficient of the regression analysis results, this paper puts forward relevant suggestions to balance regional economic growth.

Equatorial flattening of the core were previously estimated to be 5 × 10−4 by using seismically derived density anomaly, and 1.7748280 × 10−5 by assuming that the ratio of polar flattening to equatorial flattening of the core is the same as that of the whole Earth. In this study, we attempted to explain the difference by applying a density-contrast stripping process to the crust in the second method. We use the CRUST2.0 model to estimate the inertia-moment contribution resulted from the density-contrast structure in the crust to a tri-axial Earth. The contribution of the density contrast in the crust was removed layer by layer. The layers include topography, bathymetry, ice, soft sediment, hard sediment, upper crust, middle crust, lower crust and the reference crust. For the boundaries of the topography and bathymetry layers, we used ETOPO5 values with a resolution of 5'. For boundaries of other layers, we used values from the CRUST2.0 model with a resolution of 2°. After the contribution of density contrast is stripped, the equatorial flattening of the core was found to be 6.544 × 10−5, which is still one order of magnitude smaller than the result given by the first method. This suggests that at least one of the methods is not correct. The influence of the uncertainty in the equatorial flattening of the core on the Free Core Nutation frequency is small, but its effect on the gravitational torque acting on the tri-axial inner core cannot be ignored. So an accurate determination of the equatorial flattening of the core is still necessary.

The Earth is a tri-axial body, with unequal principal inertia moments, A, B and C. The corresponding principal axes a, b and c are determined by the mass distribution of the Earth, and their orientations vary with the mass redistribution. In this study, the hydrologically induced variations are estimated on the basis of satellite gravimetric data, including those from satellite laser ranging (SLR) and gravity recovery and climate experiment (GRACE), and hydrological models from global land data assimilation system (GLDAS). The longitude variations of a and b are mainly related to the variations of the spherical harmonic coefficients C¯22 and S¯22, which have been estimated to be consisting annual variations of about 1. 6 arc seconds and 1. 8 arc seconds, respectively, from gravity data. This result is confirmed by land surface water storage provided by the GLDAS model. If the atmospheric and oceanic signals are removed from the spherical harmonic coefficients C¯21 and S¯21, the agreement of the orientation series for c becomes poor, possibly due to the inaccurate background models used in pre-processing of the satellite gravimetric data. Determination of the orientation variations may provide a better understanding of various phenomena in the study of the rotation of a tri-axial Earth.

Solar-driven semiconductor photocatalysts are highly appealing in applications of environmental remediation and energy conversion. However, photocatalytic reactions, particularly oxygen evolution reaction (OER), are often constrained by the swift recombination of electron–hole pairs, thereby resulting in low reaction efficiency. Although it is effective to separate charge carriers by constructing heterojunctions to form built-in electric field, the lattice mismatch and inefficient interlayer charge transfer of heterojunctions in the photocatalysts limit their further development. Here, we propose a new strategy by constructing an internal electric field for OER through an individual piezoelectric two-dimensional material. The results indicate that the piezoelectric effect regulates the electronic structure, reduces bandgap, improves light absorption efficiency, and that the displacement of positive and negative charge centers is the key factor in the enhanced OER. This research indicates the feasibility of combining piezoelectric properties of two-dimensional materials with OER (1.19 eV), providing new insights and guidance for applying the piezoelectric effect in the OER and opening up a way to promote efficient separation of charge carriers. Bond line thickness (BLT) is an essential parameter of thermal conductive composite gels as the thermal interface material (TIM). Extensive research has been performed on designing next-generation TIMs with high thermal conductivity; however, it remains elusive how to link laboratory measurements and the theoretically predicted BLT. Here, we propose a new model to estimate BLT based on a rheological property, in which the TIM is assumed to be a simple power law fluid. To avoid the unrealistic situation of the BLT tending to zero, we introduce a decaying exponential function to describe the influence from fillers during the lid attach process and rebuild the force balance equation. Compared with previously reported models, the theoretical prediction BLT based on the proposed model is in good agreement with the experimental data. Our model has a guiding significance in predicting the BLT, which may help to optimize the thermal performance of TIMs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
