Subjective career success is an attitude regarding an individual’s achievement and satisfaction with their career resulting from a personal evaluation of their career experience. Subjective career success has eight dimensions: recognition, quality work, meaningful work, influence, authenticity, personal life, growth and development, and satisfaction. Subjective Career Success Inventory – SCSI (Subjective Career Success Questionnaire) has 24 items. The use of instruments at different cultural backgrounds requires an adaptation process so that the measurement results are valid and reliable, but until now, there has been no research on the adaptation of subjective career success measurement tools in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to obtain a standardized subjective career success measurement tool. The adaptation process was carried out using the International Test Commission reference in2016. Based on the results of the CFA analysis of the LISREL 8.8 program, it can be concluded that according to theory, subjective career success models have a good fit model. This means that the zero hypotheses that state the subjective career success model of the goodness of fit are acceptable. This explains that the resulting model can describe actual conditions and can be used to measure subjective career success.

A special strain of situational impairment, termed "Severely Constraining Situational Impairments" (SCSI), was explored from a novel qualitative perspective. When a severely impairing event presents, the multitude and complexity of ambient agents are often overwhelming, leading to the inability to devise a solution. To classify and help design for them, interviews and participatory design-based workshops were conducted, revealing that (1) participants attempt to complete mobile transactions, even if it might place them in considerable danger, and (2) significant differences exist in the modalities and steps used to address the onset of a severely impairing event versus those of a non-severe situational impairment. Design solutions generated from the workshops indicated that users want technology to take a larger role in helping manage the added cognitive load inherent in severely impairing events. The revealed implications for design indicate that to maximize the user experience in the mobile device transaction space, designers must account for the presence of these SCSI and the unique design specifications that they require. The geometries, electronic structures and energies of small ScSi species ( n = 1−6) and their anions have been systematically investigated by means of the higher level of the ccCA-TM, G4, and G4(MP2) schemes. The global minima of these clusters have been presented. The global minima of neutral ScSi ( n = 1-6) and their anions are 'substitutional structure' which is derived from Si by replacing a Si atom with a Sc atom. The adiabatic electron affinities for ScSi have been estimated. Compared with limited experimental data, the average absolute deviations from experiment for ccCA-TM, G4, and G4(MP2) are 0.21 eV, 0.22 eV, and 0.25 eV, respectively. The dissociation energies of Sc atom from the lowest-energy structure of ScSi clusters have been evaluated to examine relative stabilities. The electron affinities and dissociation energies predicted by ccCA-TM, G4, and G4(MP2) methods, especially for ccCA-TM and G4, differ little from each other. This paper proposes a statistical-eigenmode space-division multiple-access (SE-SDMA) transmission approach for a two-user downlink system where two transmit antennas are deployed at the base station and each mobile user has only one receive antenna, assuming that only statistical channel state information (SCSI) is available at the transmitter. By maximizing a lower bound of the ergodic signal-to-leakage-and-noise ratio (SLNR), the proposed SE-SDMA approach selects two users with orthogonal principal statistical eigen-directions and then transmits to each user along the corresponding eigenmode. For this approach, we derive an exact expression of the achievable ergodic rate, and compare it with the zero-forcing beamforming (ZFBF) system exploiting instantaneous CSI. We show that SE-SDMA can achieve the maximum ergodic sum-rate of the two selected users, and provide significant user selection gains. For comparison with ZFBF, we show that the rate gap between SE-SDMA and ZFBF with perfect CSI at the transmitter (CSIT) tends to zero in highly correlated channels. Further, when ZFBF is implemented with inaccurate CSIT, the operating regions of SE-SDMA and ZFBF are investigated for different ranges of signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), instantaneous CSIT accuracy levels, and spatial correlation levels. Abstract: We undertook systematic transient current technique (TCT) studies, measuring the shapes of electron- and hole-transient currents in three sets of samples irradiated by 24GeV/c protons at fluences 1.6×1014–2.4×1015 p/cm2. We carried out these measurements after leaving the samples to anneal for 22–23 days at room temperature. The three sets comprised (1) magnetic Czochralski (MCZ) n-type Si detectors; (2) MCZ p-type Si detectors; and (3) float-zone (FZ) n-type Si detectors (control set). The control set showed no surprises. The space charge sign inversion (SCSI) had already occurred at the lowest fluence (1.6×1014 p/cm2), and the double junction/double peak effect was readily apparent, with the first junction, the minor one, near the p+ contact, which changes very little with bias voltages. It is superseded by the second junction near the n+ contact (negative space charge) at biases higher than the full-depletion voltage. For both MCZ n-type and p-type detectors, the double junction/double peak effect also was initiated at the lowest fluence, but the standard SCSI evident in FZ n-type detectors (wherein the negative space charge dominates the entire detector) was not seen in that fluence range. However, in these two groups, the double junction/peak effect persisted into subsequent higher fluences with almost equal junctions near the p+ and n+ contacts, regardless of bias voltages, which may be much larger than the full-depletion voltages. This new effect, termed the equal-double-junction effect, is unique for the 24GeV/c proton-irradiated MCZ (n and p) Si detectors. It is evident by the almost identical shapes in TCT currents, before trapping corrections, for both electrons (red laser on the p+ contact) and holes (on the n+ contact), with the first peak always dominating a small second peak at any bias voltages. After trapping corrections, the heights of the two peaks are about the same, suggesting the existence of nearly equal-double junctions in the detector. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

Abstract: The aim of this study is the evaluation of radiation effects in detectors based on p-type magnetic czochralski (MCz) Si that was converted to n-type by thermal donor (TD) introduction. As-processed p+-p-n+ detectors were annealed at 430°C resulting in p+-n(TD)-n+ structures. The space charge sign and the electric field distribution E(x) in MCz Si p+-n(TD)-n+ detectors irradiated by 24GeV/c protons were analyzed using the data on the current pulse response and the Double Peak (DP) electric field distribution model for heavily irradiated detectors. The approach considers an irradiated detector as a structure with three regions in which the electric field depends on the coordinate, and the induced current pulse response arises from the drift process of free carriers in the detector with variable electric field. Reconstruction of the E(x) profile from the pulse response shapes is performed employing a new method for DP electric field reconstruction. This method includes: (a) a direct extraction of charge loss due to trapping and (b) the fitting of a simulated pulse response to the “corrected” pulse by adjusting the electric field profiles in the three regions. Reconstruction of E(x) distribution showed that in the diodes irradiated by a proton fluence of (2–4)×1014 p/cm2 space charge sign inversion has occurred. This is the evidence that the influence of 24GeV/c proton radiation on MCz Si p+-n(TD)-n+ detectors is similar to that on p+-n-n+ detectors based on FZ or diffusion oxygenated n-type Si. A framework for designing a family of novel fast cyclic redundancy code (CRC) generation algorithms is presented. Our algorithms can ideally read arbitrarily large amounts of data at a time, while optimizing their memory requirement to meet the constraints of specific computer architectures. In addition, our algorithms can be implemented in software using commodity processors instead of specialized parallel circuits. We use this framework to design two efficient algorithms that run in the popular Intel IA32 processor architecture. First, a "slicing-by-4" algorithm doubles the performance of existing software-based table-driven CRC implementations based on the Sarwate [12] algorithm while using a 4-Kbyte cache footprint. Second, a "slicing-by-8" algorithm triples the performance of existing software-based CRC implementations while using an 8-Kbyte cache footprint. Whereas well-known software-based CRC implementations compute the current CRC value from a bitstream reading 8 bits at a time, our algorithms read 32 and 64 bits at a time, respectively (this is an extended version of a paper that appeared at the 10th IEEE International Symposium on Computers and Communications (ISCC '05) in Cartagena, Spain, in June 2005). This paper describes a new key feature of SATA standard, native command queuing (NCQ). This feature is specific to the SATA interface but is similar in some ways to other reordering protocols developed for the small computer system interface (SCSI). Building a queue is the first component of this protocol. The drive must know when it receives a command whether it should queue the command or whether it should execute that command immediately. NCQ uses a new command protocol with new command opcodes that allows the device to know whether a command can be queued. Thus NCQ is more beneficial to the home PC environment, providing the storage subsystem with better performance for today's end-user requirements as media accessibility and the use of multiple applications simultaneously becomes a more commonplace event in the digital home. Today, EIDE hard disk drives have become the mainstream products in low-end storage applications. An inexpensive disk array system based on EIDE hard disk drives is proposed, which has not only much higher speed than a tape library but also much lower price than a general SCSI or fibre channel disk array. Each string controller in a disk array can support up to 16 hard disk drives (4TB) and multiple RAID levels (RAID 0,1,0+1,3, 5, NRAID or JBOD). It also provides multiform interfaces for the host computer, including SCSI, USB, FireWire, EIDE, Serial ATA, etc. Since this kind of disk array has excellent price performance ratio, it is worth using in a mass data backup area instead of tape equipments and other low-end secondary storage applications. The existing SCSI parallel bus has been widely used in various multimedia applications. However, due to the unfair bus accesses the SCSI bus may not be able to fully utilize the potential aggregate throughput of disks. The number of disks that can be attached to the SCSI bus is limited, and link level fault tolerance is not provided. The serial storage interfaces such as Serial Storage Architecture (SSA) provide high data bandwidth, fair accesses, long transmission distance between adjacent devices (disks or hosts) and link level fault tolerance. The fairness algorithm of SSA ensures a fraction of data bandwidth to be allocated to each device. In this paper we would like to know whether SSA is a better alternative in supporting continuous media than SCSI. The scalability of a multimedia server is very important since the storage requirement may grow incrementally as more contents are created and stored. SSA in a shared-storage cluster environment also supports concurrent accesses by different hosts as long as their access paths are not overlapped. This feature is called spatial reuse. Therefore, the effective bandwidth over an SSA can be higher than the raw data bandwidth and the spatial reuse feature is critical to the scalability of a multimedia server. This feature is also included in FC-AL3 with a new mode called Multiple Circuit Mode (MCM). Using MCM, all devices can transfer data simultaneously without collision.
