Featured Application: Companies can implement the digital maturity assessment model to assess the digital maturity of their logistics processes. In turn, the results presented in the research can provide benchmarking data for companies that create digital transformation maps for their use. (1) Background: Industry 4.0 and the COVID-19 pandemic have resulted in an acceleration of digital transformation, primarily in production systems and logistics. This raises the need to assess where a company is in its digital transformation today and what measures must be taken to improve logistics processes. This article aims to present the results of a study assessing the digital maturity of logistics processes in a group of selected enterprises located in Poland. The research was conducted among companies that are business partners of the Poznan School of Logistics. (2) Methods: The DMM-OP digital process maturity assessment model was used in the study. Digital maturity was assessed on a five-point scale in four areas of company activity: process management, performance measurement, employee support, and technology. The research procedure included four stages. (3) Results: The results indicate that companies in the process management and performance measurement dimensions achieved the highest level of digital maturity. In commercial enterprises, the level of digital transformation is at the lowest level. Large enterprises achieved the best results, but there were also very good results in the group of small enterprises. This article aims to present the results of a bibliometric analysis of relevant literature and discuss the main research streams related to the topic of risks in drone applications. The methodology of the conducted research consisted of five procedural steps, including the planning of the research, conducting a systematic review of the literature, proposing a classification framework corresponding to contemporary research trends related to the risk of drone applications, and compiling the characteristics of the publications assigned to each of the highlighted thematic groups. This systematic literature review used the PRISMA method. A total of 257 documents comprising articles and conference proceedings were analysed. On this basis, eight thematic categories related to the use of drones and the risks associated with their operation were distinguished. Due to the high content within two of these categories, a further division into subcategories was proposed to illustrate the research topics better. The conducted investigation made it possible to identify the current research trends related to the risk of drone use and pointed out the existing research gaps, both in the area of risk assessment methodology and in its application areas. Background: This article presents the results of a literature review from 2018 to 2023, which focused on research related to human and AGV system cooperation in a shared workspace. This study defines AGV systems as systems using Automated Guided Vehicles or Autonomous Guided Vehicles. An Automated Guided Vehicle is a cart that follows a guided path, while an Autonomous Guided Vehicle is an Automated Guided Vehicle that is autonomously controlled. The analyses conducted answered two research questions: (RQ1) In what aspects are the human factor examined in publications on the implementation and operation of AGV systems? (RQ2) Has the human-AGV collaboration aspect been analyzed in the context of a sustainable work environment? Methods: The literature review was conducted following the systematic literature review method, using the PRISMA approach. Results: Based on the search of two journal databases, according to the indicated keywords, 1219 documents pertaining to the analyzed issues were identified. The selection and elimination of documents that did not meet the defined criteria made it possible to limit the number of publications to 117 articles and proceedings papers. On this basis, the authors defined a classification framework comprising five basic research categories and nine subcategories. The analyzed documents were classified, and each distinguished group was characterized by describing the results. Conclusions: The development of a two-level classification framework for research from the analyzed area according to the assumptions of the concept map and the identification of research gaps in the area of human-AGV interaction. AGV systems are considered a necessary element of the recently created cyber-physical systems whose task is to support material flows in intelligent factories. The implementation of AGV systems in cyber-physical systems generates new types of threats, and the level of risk of adverse events related to the operation of these systems is changing. This article aims to present the results of an open-access literature review, the purpose of which was to identify issues addressed in studies of the analysis and risk management of AGV systems, to group publications according to the proposed topical framework, and to identify gaps in the current research. We used the PRISMA concept to review the literature. After completing all stages of the procedure, 153 publications on risk in AGV systems were selected for analysis. To ensure the high quality of the analysis, access to the full texts of the selected documents was necessary. For this reason, we have limited the collection to open-access publications. The results of the analysis allowed us to distinguish 12 primary categories and 26 additional subcategories within the literature. These categories are characterized by different numbers of publications and cover different AGV systems operation areas. The simultaneous assignment of documents to several subcategories indicates the need for a holistic view of issues related to the risk of AGV operation in operating environments with varying degrees of automation. An essential scientific contribution of our analysis is the identification of a research gap. The analyzed publications lacked studies on methods of risk identification and assessment that take into account the specificity of AGV operation, especially in the cyber-physical systems of Logistics 4.0. Background: Along with the development of Industry 4.0, the concept of Logistics 4.0 is also developing in parallel. Some researchers emphasize that the fourth industrial revolution in the area of logistics concerns in particular warehouse services. New technologies related to automatic data identification and autonomous vehicles are increasingly appearing in warehouse processes. In particular, the implementation of autonomous vehicles in processes carried out so far by people generates significant challenges related to the proper preparation of the entire system, but also its coordination with processes carried out in the enterprise. The aim of the article is to present the results of the analysis of disturbances occurring in the first stage of the implementation of autonomous vehicles in the process of feeding material production lines in a surveyed company from the automotive industry. Methods: The article presents the implementation assumptions for the use of autonomous robots in the process of materials feeding. The scope of the required safety analyzes was presented as well as the time measurements carried out regarding the implementation of the process of servicing power supplies for assembly lines. The research used direct observations in the assessed enterprise and unstructured interviews with persons responsible for the implementation. Results: The results show the deviations from the adopted assumptions, both in the area of vehicle safety and the deviations in the time of material supply operations. It is worth noting that both positive and negative deviations from the adopted standard were recorded in the measurements. Based on the analyzes of the causes and effects of the deviations, guidelines have been developed for the changes to the functioning of autonomous vehicles. Conclusions: The results of the presented research allowed to identify potential adverse events that may occur in the process of implementing autonomous solutions in logistics service processes. The basic rules for the implementation of autonomous solutions in logistic operations, which are carried out in anthropotechnical systems, were also indicated. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
