Study purpose. The study purpose was to determine changes in indicators of special physical preparedness and speed of attacking strokes in badminton players aged 10–11 under the influence of specially selected exercises. Materials and methods. The study participants were young badminton players aged 10–11 (12 boys), whose sports experience was 2-3 years. The study lasted 3 months and included: testing of special physical preparedness and assessment and analysis of the speed of attacking attacking strokes of young badminton players. Results. Analysis of the results of the study showed positive changes in the results of special physical preparedness, accuracy and speed of attacking strokes. The complex development of the speed-strength abilities of young badminton players was determined by the exercises of throwing a ball weighing 1 kg, triple long jump and jumping rope. This was manifested in the execution of attacking strokes from the place and in jumping and moving, but there was a significant increase in results in the triple jump and jumping rope. The development of speed endurance determined the 4-point center-to-center movement exercise, but the results did not change significantly over the course of the study. Accuracy indicators of attacking strokes significantly increased by an average of 2,58%. The results of the speed of attacking strokes also had a significant increase by an average of 29.41%. The use of complexes for training the accuracy of attacking strokes along with targets with a gradual complication of exercises increased the results of test exercises for accuracy and speed of execution. The indicators of the speed of attacking strokes on the left and on the right correlate with each other. The accuracy results of the right hand strokes along the line significantly correlate with right hand strokes along the diagonal and the triple long jump from a place. This indicates the connection of speed-strength abilities with the performance of attacking strokes by young badminton players. Indicators of a triple long jump from a place, jumping rope for 1 min. and throwing a ball weighing 1 kg are significantly correlated with each other, which indicates the complex development of the speed-strength abilities of young badminton players. Conclusions. The presented complexes of special preparatory exercises had a positive effect on changes in the indicators of special physical preparedness, accuracy and speed of the attacking strokes, which makes it possible to recommend them to 10–11-year-old badminton players in the training process.

The 12th century was a controversial period of deepening ecclesiastical influence on all strata of the population, strengthening church prohibitions, expansion of convents; the century of establishing a new stratum of intellectuals, the first rise of women role in society and the formation of the courtly culture’s foundations. Philosopher Peter Abelard and his student Heloise were chosen for examination by us as the bright personalities of the 12th century, a product of medieval society and the voices of their time. An exceptional historical case of well-documented reliable information on the personal relationship allows us to correlate the world-view of lovers and their lives with the socio-cultural realities of High Middle Ages. The aim of the article is a historical analysis of the relationship between the philosopher-teacher Abelard and the student Eloise in the socio-cultural context of the 12th century. In previous studies scholars have only indirectly touched certain aspects of the teacher-student relationship in the context of intimate gender relations of the High Middle Ages. We analysed the autobiography of Peter Abelard, the letters of Abelard’s contemporaries, his correspondence with Eloise. We arranged scientific achievements of historians and examined personal life of the couple against the background: tactics of seduction, intimacy, determining and understanding the relationship status, men’s standing in society after castration. Emphasis is placed on the progress of 12th century’s social consciousness in the light of the personalities’ world-view analysis. A division between individual views and the Catholic medieval outlook is analysed. Through the study of the transformation of the relationship between teacher and student, and future lovers, we have shown that the views of Eloise and Abelard illustrate a feasible range of medieval perceptions of the relationship, in tune with the new era challenges, yet integral to its time.

Purpose: to research changes in technical and physical preparedness of 7-8-year-old sportswomen under the influence of classes on the program of CYSS. Material and methods: theoretical analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literary sources; testing of technical and physical fitness, pedagogical experiment, methods of mathematical statistics. The research involved 7-8-year-old girls in the initial training group of the second year of study. Results: reliable changes in physical preparedness in in throwing a tennis ball to the range - by 39,8 % (t=3,70, p0,05). Purpose: investigate changes in the level of technical-tactical readiness indicators of tennis players at the stage of preliminary basic preparation of the preparatory period of the macrocycle. Material & Methods: the study involved 8 tennis players aged 11–13 years who were training in the basic training group of the Park Tennis Club in Kharkiv. The following methods were used: analysis of scientific and methodological literature, pedagogical testing, methods of mathematical statistics. Results: reliable changes in the indicators of the level of technical-tactical readiness in the exercises “shot through the net” by 19,6% were obtained; "shot from rebound through the net" by 2,2%; "shot after the ball bounces off the wall" by 10,4%; "serve through the net to the target" by 1,8%. Conclusion: young tennis players of the basic training group improved the level of technical-tactical readiness indicators in the preparatory period of the macrocycle in the execution of an accurate directional serve, active and stable back line shot and one timer shot at the net.

Purpose: determine the impact level of indicators of speed-strength preparedness for the agility of young volleyball players 12–13 years. Material & Methods: analysis of scientific and methodological literature, pedagogical testing of speed-strength qualities and agility, pedagogical experiment, methods of mathematical statistics. The study involved 25 volleyball players aged 12–13 years, training in the basic training group of the second year of training of the sports club "Lokomotiv" in Kharkov. Young athletes were divided into an experimental – 13 people and a control –12 volleyball team. Results: after the introduction of the experimental methodology, a link was found between the level of speed-strength abilities and the agility of volleyball players. Conclusion: the positive influence of development of speed-strength qualities on indicators of agility of volleyball players that is necessary for selection of means and methods in training process of young athletes is proved.

Silver has a long history of antibacterial effectiveness. The combination of atomically precise metal nanoclusters with the field of nucleic acid nanotechnology has given rise to DNA-templated silver nanoclusters (DNA-AgNCs) which can be engineered with reproducible and unique fluorescent properties and antibacterial activity. Furthermore, cytosine-rich single-stranded DNA oligonucleotides designed to fold into hairpin structures improve the stability of AgNCs and additionally modulate their antibacterial properties and the quality of observed fluorescent signals. In this work, we characterize the sequence-specific fluorescence and composition of four representative DNA-AgNCs, compare their corresponding antibacterial effectiveness at different pH, and assess cytotoxicity to several mammalian cell lines.
