According to the World Health Organization's (WHO) external situation report on the multi-country outbreak of Monkeypox in 2023, from 11 countries in Southeast Asia Regions, Thailand recorded the highest reported cases, totaling 461. The ongoing Monkeypox outbreak has raised significant public health concerns due to its rapid spread across several nations. Early detection and diagnosis are imperative for effectively treating and controlling Monkeypox. Given this context, this study aimed to determine the most efficient model for detecting Monkeypox by employing interpretable deep learning techniques. This study utilizes deep learning techniques to diagnose Monkeypox based on images of skin lesions. We evaluate based on four models—convolutional neural network (CNN), gated recurrent unit (GRU), long short-term memory (LSTM), and bidirectional long short term memory (BiLSTM)—using a publicly available dataset. Additionally, we incorporate Local Interpretable Model-Agnostic Explanations (LIME) and techniques for explainable AI, facilitating visual interpretation of model predictions for healthcare practitioners. The CNN model's performance and LSTM model's performance have an accuracy of 100%, while the GRU model's performance and BiLSTM model's performance have an accuracy of 99.88% and 99.45%. Our findings demonstrate the effectiveness of deep learning models, including the suggested CNN model leveraging the pre-trained MobileNetV2 and LSTM. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become an integral part of digital literacy systems and plays a vital role in the development of intelligence. In the educational sector, AI represents a significant innovation that can greatly enhance the quality of learning and educational management. This technology offers numerous benefits, supporting educational stability and improving the teaching and learning processes. However, it is crucial to acknowledge that AI can also lead to adverse effects if misused. Therefore, ensuring the responsible use of AI in education is essential, adhering to applicable ethical standards. Educational institutions, particularly those with Islamic values, must continually innovate in response to technological advancements. At the same time, they should equip their students with strong religious values to mitigate potential harm that may arise from these technological developments. By fostering a balanced approach, educational institutions can leverage AI’s potential while safeguarding their students' moral and ethical foundations.

The issues that arise regarding the Hajj include those who wait in line for years without being called by the Ministry of Religious Affairs. There is also a strong motivation for some to perform the Hajj multiple times. The research problem consists of two variables: first, why do people go on Hajj repeatedly; second, is it true that the religious experience during Hajj is a factor in the desire to perform Hajj again? This study aims to analyze the motivation of people to perform Hajj repeatedly in the holy land from the perspective of religious psychology (religious consciousness). The method used in this study is qualitative, a field study with interview and documentation methods. The respondents in this study are all pilgrims who have performed Hajj at least twice and reside in Yogyakarta and its surroundings. The results of this study prove that there is an influence of understanding regarding the legal conclusions on religious orders about performing Hajj. It is believed that performing Hajj once in a lifetime is obligatory, while performing it multiple times is considered sunnah and therefore unlimited. Secondly, the religious experiences encountered during the Hajj rituals in the holy land of Mecca. These personal and spiritual religious experiences vary among pilgrims. The differences are due to the place, time, atmosphere, health conditions of the pilgrims, and the quality of understanding of religious teachings. Among the religious experiences that tend to raise religious awareness can take the form of specificity, emotion, amazement, and also helplessness, leading to self-introspection, which further impacts the growth of personal and social holiness. Lastly, the task given by an institution or another person is believed to be a call from Allah, as not everyone gets the opportunity to perform Hajj. The Hajj culture in Indonesia is not just a tradition or ritual but an enhancement of Islamic culture that has implications for Islamic culture. It is known that 80-100% of Indonesians are motivated to perform Hajj.

The objective of this study is to develop an LMS-based app in English subject with speaking skills adopting a blended learning method. This study engaged 38 students in class eleven of the Science 2B Program at State High School 1 Metro Lampung in 2022, including 23 male students and 15 female students. This study was carried out in a State Senior High School 1 Metro Lampung. A rating rubric was used to collect data on students' speaking skills. The rubric followed the Harris’ rating scale which speaking skills were focused on five variables: pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension. The blended learning model enabled students examine their knowledge through engaging involvement in learning, leading to student-centered teaching and learning activities. The results indicated that the LMS-based app https://www.e-ajar.com/ and class activities for 11th grade students in English with speaking skills at State Senior High School 1 Metro Lampung have increased students' English-speaking skills. This is seen in the development of scores and the improvement in the minimum percentage of completion in each cycle, where students' English pronunciation and grammar have significantly improved. Future study might use blended learning models potentially developed for other subjects to increase learning outcomes and creative thinking skills. This LMS-based media should not only help senior high school students with their speaking sills but also the other skills and its impacts on successful language-learning strategies.

The ISMUBA curriculum is a unique curriculum which used holistic-integrative matters. In a student-centered learning era, the existence of such curriculum is important and meaningful especially combine with project-based learning. Therefore, this study aims to explore project-based learning, as a development of the holistic-integrative ISMUBA curriculum. This research was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah Sapen Yogyakarta. This research approach is qualitative research based on field studies. The subjects of this study consisted of teachers and students. Data were obtained by interview, observation, and documentation methods. Data analysis was carried out using three steps namely display, reduction, and verification techniques. The results of the study were obtained. Project-based learning is an important component in developing the ISMUBA curriculum at SD Muhammadiyah Sapen Yogyakarta. The concepts built in project-based learning encourage students to think critically, creatively, and innovatively to support 21st-century learning skills that are relevant to UNESCO concepts. Learning to know and learning to do are teaching developments that improve students' critical thinking, creativity, innovation, and problem-solving. This research implies that the development of the ISMUBA curriculum is the answer to the four-pillar learning targets issued by UNESCO.

From the perspective of the Qur’an, investigating the concept of human nature becomes an intriguing subject for scientific exploration, with a particular focus on the term “muḥsin”. This word holds a wide range of interpretations within the Qur’an, encompassing both its semantic implications and its relevance to understanding humanity. This pursuit of understanding and learning within the realm of science, especially in academic lectures and research, aims to analyze the correlation between the concept of human nature and Islamic education as they relate to the Qur’an and Ilmud dilalah (the science of semantics). This research is specifically oriented towards qualitative research, utilizing a literature review approach. Data was collected from online sources through literature searches on platforms such as Google Scholar, Scopus, and Siendirect. Data analysis involved a meticulous content analysis process. The findings of this study highlight the concept of “fiṭrah” as a divine endowment bestowed upon humans by God, defining their existence. Understanding the meaning of this inherent nature is deemed essential for all individuals, ensuring that God’s gift is not squandered and that one’s full potential is developed. Islamic education plays a pivotal role in this context, serving as a guiding force that helps individuals preserve and direct their innate nature, particularly in fostering trust and confidence in Allah. It emphasizes the importance of nurturing one’s full potential. In Islam, education is not only emphasized but also intricately linked with the philosophy of science when applied to Islamic religious education. It is understood that Islam, as a holistic religion, provides comprehensive guidance and education for Muslims.

Respect has been shown to provide psychological, social, and academic advantages; nevertheless, most academics have not given it enough credit in terms of encouraging students’ character development. Al-Zarnūjī’s idea, a classical Muslim scholar, as a point of reference for his esteemed work on the concept of Ta‘līm al-Muta‘allim has been one of the references in learning and teaching guidelines among pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) in Indonesia. This article aims to critically explore respect as a moral concept and explain how respect can contribute to current discussions in developing character education from the perspective of al-Zarnūjī’s Ta‘līm al-Muta‘allim. A critical analysis of books and journals that were cited was done concerning the contributions made in the field of character education. The study’s findings have led to three major disputes. The first is deference to knowledge as a source of illumination. Secondly, it is deference to the instructor as the foremost exemplar and facilitator of information exchange; and thirdly, it is honoring the colleague as a fellow participant in the educational journey. Respect in all of its dimensions should thus guide the process of teaching and learning.

Instead, the use of hadith memes among Muslim communities is rampant, and the study of hadith memes is scarce. This study, therefore, aims to examine the use of hadith memes by millennial Ulama and the types and content of hadith memes disseminated and exchanged in the virtual world by millennial Ulama. This study built thematic hadith memes based on their contents and formats on social media platforms using Rajan's (2015) theory of religious memes. This study employed a netnography method, collecting data from the social media sites Facebook and WhatsApp of Islamic millennial Ulama. We used a thematic approach in analyzing the data. Our results show that hadith memes disseminated on social media sites fall into four themes. The first theme is prayer hadith memes that present the traditions of prayers in Islam. The second theme is hadith memes related to sacrifice, which depict messages of Muslims' willingness to practice gratitude and to sacrifice to do things according to Allah's will. The third theme of the hadith memes is that they present messages about the afterlife, which tells about the end of life, such as life in the grave, hell, and heaven. The last theme is hadith memes about tolerance, which tell about the importance of living in tolerance and respecting each other. We conclude that our study contributed to understanding the distribution of hadith meme themes in the virtual world to enhance the sharing and exchange of Islamic teachings.

A sequence of radicalism movements in Indonesia have drawn international attention, especially the Ambon-Poso conflict and the Bali bombings, due to the fact that the perpetrators have established Lingkar Perdamaian Foundation (YLP) in Lamongan. YLP was established to protect society from extremist organizations and to promote love for the Republic of Indonesia. What becomes the main concern of this study is the implementation of religious moderation in YLP. Therefore, this article aims at finding out: (1) The strategies implemented by YLP to internalize religious moderation values, (2) The internalization process of moderation values in YLP and (3) The impacts obtained from the process. The research implemented descriptive qualitative design through field observations at YLP, interviews with YLP founder and members as well as documentation from related publications. The results obtained are: (1) The strategies used are indoor, outdoor, and humanistic. (2) The value of moderation is internalized through 5 stages, namely the radical stage, confrontation with reality, openness of perspective, reorientation of values and contributions (3) The impacts show that members can involve in active social interactions with society, get decent work and help deradicalization program. Serangkaian gerakan radikalisme yang terjaadi di Indonesia menarik perhatian dunia, terutama konflik Ambon-Poso dan serentetan Bom Bali. Hal ini karena pelaku dari aksi-aksi tersebut membentuk sebuah yayasan yang bernama Yayasan Lingkar Perdamaian (YLP) di Lamongan. YLP ini sengaja didirikan untuk menumbuhkan cinta NKRI dan meninggalkan kelompok radikal. Disamping itu, topik terhangat di masyarakat adalah moderasi beragama yang menggelitik peneliti untuk mencaritahu penerapannya di YLP. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Strategi yang diterapkan YLP untuk menginternalisasikan nilai moderasi beragama kepada anggota YLP, (2) Proses internalisasi nilai moderasi beragama kepada anggota YLP dan (3) Dampak yang dihasilkan dari proses internalisasi nilai moderasi beragama itu. Peneliti menggunakan desain deskriptif kualitatif melalui observasi lapangan di YLP, wawancara dengan pendiri dan anggota YLP serta dokumentasi dari publikasi terkait. Hasil penelitian yaitu (1) Strategi yang digunakan meliputi indoor, outdoor dan humanistik. (2) Proses internalisasi nilai-nilai moderasi beragama meliputi lima tahapan: tahap radikal, tahap konfrontasi dengan realitas, tahap pembukaan perspektif, tahap reorientasi nilai dan tahap kontribusi. (3) Dampak yang dihasilkan yaitu anggota YLP dapat aktif bermasyarakat, memperoleh pekerjaan yang layak dan membantu pemerintah dalam program deradikalisasi. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada teori lima tahapan dalam proses perubahan dari radikal ke nasionalis yang terintegrasi nilai-nilai moderasi beragama.

In Islamic law, the concept of baligh has long been debated among clerics. The debate also appears to have resulted in different rules regarding the minimum age of marriage among Muslim countries. This paper aims to reveal the maturity standard regarding the minimum age of marriage in four Muslim countries: Egypt, Pakistan, Tunisia, and Indonesia. This paper is based on library research and employs a comparative study approach. This paper argues that Egypt, Pakistan, Tunisia, and Indonesia have a different minimum age for marriage. In Egypt and Pakistan, the minimum age for marriage is 18 years for men and 16 years for women. However, Pakistan has gone further by instituting legal sanctions if the regulation of the minimum age is violated. In Tunisia, the minimum age for marriage is 18 years for men and women, while in Indonesia it is 19 years for men and women. The determination of the minimum age for marriage is intended for several purposes, including limiting the number of early marriages, reducing the divorce rate, and preparing a strong national generation through the maturity of the marriage age. These interests, from the perspective of Islamic law, are the manifestation of the principle of maslahah (fundamentally aimed at achieving goodness and rejecting harm concerning marital life). [Dalam hukum Islam, konsep balig sudah lama diperdebatkan di kalangan ulama. Perdebatan tersebut juga tampaknya telah menghasilkan aturan yang berbeda mengenai usia minimum pernikahan di antara negara-negara Muslim. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan standar kedewasaan mengenai usia minimum menikah di empat negara Muslim: Mesir, Pakistan, Tunisia, dan Indonesia. Makalah ini didasarkan pada penelitian kepustakaan dan menggunakan pendekatan studi komparatif. Tulisan ini berpendapat bahwa Mesir, Pakistan, Tunisia, dan Indonesia memiliki perbedaan usia minimum untuk menikah. Di Mesir dan Pakistan, usia minimum untuk menikah adalah 18 tahun untuk laki-laki dan 16 tahun untuk perempuan. Namun, Pakistan telah melangkah lebih jauh dengan memberikan sanksi hukum jika peraturan usia minimum dilanggar. Di Tunisia, usia minimum untuk menikah adalah 18 tahun untuk pria dan wanita, sedangkan di Indonesia adalah 19 tahun untuk pria dan wanita. Penetapan usia minimal menikah dimaksudkan untuk beberapa tujuan, antara lain membatasi jumlah pernikahan dini, menekan angka perceraian, dan mempersiapkan generasi bangsa yang kuat melalui pendewasaan usia pernikahan. The primary objective of this study was to examine a holistic learning approach that promotes the development of noble character values (akhlak karimah) in madrasah. The study employed a qualitative methodology, specifically utilizing phenomenological research and a descriptive method. Data collection involved interviews, observations, and examination of relevant documents. The participants in this research were Madrasah teachers responsible for teaching various subjects at the ibdtida'iyah, tsanawiyah, and aliyah levels in Lombok. The findings revealed the development of a learning model that integrates all aspects of education to foster the exploration of akhlak karimah values, which are defined as objectives in the affective domain. These values were identified based on the students' needs and were subsequently incorporated into the curriculum through student-centered integrated learning. The implementation of the proposed model follows a similar pattern and concludes with a dedication to this approach.

Purpose - This study aims to determine the learning rate of Islamic religious education in the new-normal era after the COVID-19 pandemic in the coastal areas of Serang Regency. The constantly growing use of information technology has made most students reluctant to go to school. Design/methods/approach – This study is qualitative research. This research approach is descriptive. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation. The number of informants in this study included students, teachers, and the community as parents of students. The respondent selection technique used purposive sampling, where the number of informants was 90% of the total sample. Findings - The findings in this study have included the use of a home visit strategy for post-pandemic learning continuity, where most students were reluctant to go to school and many students were contaminated with online games. The home visit method is a real form of visiting students one by one to provide understanding to parents and students about online learning, as well as a form of direct monitoring of the student learning process. Research implications/limitations – This research highlights how the educational process of the new normal era after the COVID-19 pandemic was in the coastal area of Serang Regency. Supposedly, the coastal area is a geographical location far from urban conditions, making the infrastructure aspect still very limited. Originality/value - This study presents the serious impact that occurred in the coastal area of Serang Regency when the learning process took place after the COVID-19 pandemic. Ranging from the personal pick-up strategy to numerous students who were reluctant to go to school to many students who were contaminated by online games.

This study aims to examine the approach in teaching practice to "muallaf" (Muslim indigenous people: "orang asli") and the factors of attraction toward the acceptance of Islamic understanding among them. The study was conducted at the village of "muallaf orang asli" at Paya Sendayan, Temerloh Pahang, Malaysia. Design of this study are using the qualitative methods. Data were collected by observation and selected informant interviews based on purposive sampling methods. Data were analysed using the thematic methods. The results of the study found that the approach in teaching practice to "muallaf orang asli" is "syarah" (explanation) and discussion presented through storytelling, stimulation method and "talaqqi musyafahah" (face to face). Meanwhile, the results of the attraction factors toward the acceptance of teaching and learning among "muallaf orang asli" are aspect of reward, facilities, understanding and skills of teachers or educators for the socio-culture and role model shown by teachers or educators as well as the Muslim community nearby the living community. The findings of this study show that the teaching and learning of "muallaf orang asli" should be organized systematically in line with the factors of attraction in order to increase interest and earnestly.

ملخص البحث إن الحذف في القرآن الكريم له فوائده وأسراره التي لا يدركها إلّا الخبير بأساليب الكلام، البصير بطرق القول، فلا يحذف شيء من القرآن إلّا وحذفه أحسن من ذكره، بل وأنسب للسياق حتّى قيل إنّه من شجاعة اللغة العربية. وهذا البحث يستهدف إلى معرفة الحذف وأشكاله في سورة الفاتحة وجزء الثلاثين من القرآن، وهذا البحث يستخدم المنهج الوصفي التحليلي. والبيانات في هذا البحث مأخوذة من كتاب التفسير للزمخشري والكتب الأخرى ذات العلاقة بموضوع البحث. وهذا البحث توصل إلى عدد من النتائج أهمّها إنّ أغرض الحذف في القرآن منها التفخيم والإعظام، وزيادة لذة بسبب استنباط الذهن للمحذوف، وزيادة الأجر بسبب الاجهاد في ذلك، وطلب الإيجاز والاختصار، وتحصيل المعنى الكثير في اللفظ القليل والتشجيع في الكلام وموقعه في النفس في موقعه على الذكر. وأمّا أشكال الحذف في سورة الفاتحة وجزء الثلاثين فمنها : حذف الحرف والمضاف والمضاف إليه والصفة والموصوف والشرط والمبتدأ والخبر والفاعل والمفعول والحال والمنادى والمعطوف والمعطوف عليه والمبدل منه وغير ذلك. وأما حذف في جزء الثلاثين تتكوّن من حذف حرف الجرّ وحذف حرف العطف وحذف حرف الألف وحذف الفعل وحذف جر المجرور وحذف المضاف وحذف المفعول وحذف المقسم عليه وحذف الجواب حذف وحذف المبتدأ الكلمة: الحذف، أشكال، القرآن الكريم، سورة الفاتحة، جزء ثلاثين

The development of the flow of Arabic knowledge at the pesantren level (Madrasah Aliyah, Madrasah Diniyah, and Madrasah Ta'wiliyah). Demanding increased Arabic learning to santri. However, this is inversely proportional to the fact that students are declining in developing Arabic mufrodat and linguistics material. This study aims to analyze the Arabic language learning model based on multiple intelligences from a neuroscience perspective. The setting of this research is located in the Himmatul ‘Amilin Islamic Boarding School in Yogyakarta. The subjects of this research consisted of the leaders of Islamic boarding schools, musyrif, and ustadz. Subject selection was carried out using the purposive sampling technique to obtain objective and valid data. The approach in this research is to use a case study-based qualitative method. Researchers in collecting data using observation methods, direct interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique was followed by Milies and Huberman, namely by displaying data, reducing data, and verifying data. The results of this study explain that learning Arabic based on multiple intelligences increases the intelligence of students in learning Arabic mufradat and linguistics (mufradat, Arabic morphology, and Arabic syntax). From some of the material taught, namely about everyday mufradat and understanding of shorof in the isim file chapter. In this case, multiple intelligences are combined with neuroscientific theory between the interpersonal and intrapersonal intelligence centers in the right brain and left brain. This research has implications for the improvement and development of students in understanding Arabic material (quwaidul arabiyah) in today's Islamic boarding schools.

Covid-19 has caused a crisis of teacher professionalism degradation. It has surprised teachers at all levels and at the same time inspired them to seek solutions to problems they had never encountered before. Teachers and students are required to adapt to the new normal so that teachers transition in professional life from offline to online. This study aims to analyze the professionalism of teachers during the covid-19 pandemic, in terms of pedagogical, personality, social, and professional competencies. The method used is a systematic literature review (SLR), identifying, evaluating, and interpreting all findings on a research topic to answer pre-determined research questions using the preferred reporting item for systematic review and meta analytic (PRISMA). This research database uses Scholar, ERIC, and Mendeley. The results of the study show that teacher professionalism is decadent during the covid-19 period. pedagogical competence becomes highly cognitive because of the weak transfer of values online. personality competence has distorted the teacher's charisma because for almost two years the students have not met the teacher. Social competence of teachers fails to develop a sense of togetherness because of social and physical distancing. Besides that, the professionalism phase of teachers in Indonesia is in the collegial phase, pedagogic competence is considered more important than other competencies. In terms of personality competence, female teachers have a higher level of professional commitment than male teachers and the professional level of teachers with a master's degree education is significantly higher than the level of professional commitment of teachers with undergraduate education. Individual work professionalism is determined and monitored collectively. This means that the principal will be given decision-making authority over school policies and procedures and the support capacity of school leaders is needed. Pedagogy and professionalism during and after a pandemic will drive transformational change. Guidelines for professional behavior are needed to interpret what the professionalism of teachers looks like during the covid-19 pandemic. In conclusion, the concept of teacher professionalism is no longer relevant in the Covid-19 era. For future research recommendations, it is necessary to develop guidelines for professional teacher behavior during the pandemic, both COVID-19 and other natural phenomena that cause pandemics.

Purpose – This paper aims to examine the professional skills and ethical values balanced to generate policies and procedures with significant guidance to give insights into systematic control of integrating simultaneous integrity between the use and maintenance in digital-based recordkeeping. Design/methodology/approach – The investigation was conducted using keywords responsibilities engagement, professional and ethical balance, and records management. Descriptive analysis was applied with the initiative on integrating, evaluating and interpreting the findings of multiple types of research from recent grounded theory. Findings – The finding reveals that determining the potential value of foregoing effort to provide an ultimate application guideline as a counter measure against the emerging challenges of the dynamic records management system needs to adopt appropriate professional and ethical empowerment across the procedural stage in underlying the demand and the response with the express purpose of promoting appropriate and wise usage for the sustainable positive benefit of responsibilities on recording management. Originality/value – As a pivotal role in determining the potential value of foregoing effort as aimed in this paper, the initiative to provide an ultimate application guideline as a counter measure against the emerging challenges of the dynamic records management system needs to bring along with urging for an appropriate professional and ethical empowerment across the procedural stage proposed referring to the demand and the response with the express purpose of promoting appropriate and wise usage for the sustainable positive benefit of responsibilities on recording management.

This paper aims to examine the critical discourse on responses to worship regulations during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Diverse responses emanated from the media, religious leaders, and civil society organizations in the Indonesian context. The wide range of responses to worship regulations is reflected in continuous debate, demonstrating two primary groups, one in support of the government regulations and the other opposed to limitations on congregational worship activities. This shows the need for the proper messaging of content and dissemination to promote behavioral changes relative to relevant health issues. In order to achieve the main objective, we employed a qualitative method involving a discourse analysis of several leading online news sources’ viewpoints, religious leaders’ viewpoints, and religious organizations’ public statements. This study found two main factors associated with the response to worship regulations in the pandemic era. The main finding involved supportive and contradictive orientations. The supportive path indicated a supportive response, referring to the enhancement of the proper analysis of public worship regulations, while the contradictive one referred to the continuation of life as normal, free of restrictions and regulations. This study suggests that clear details on the reasons for restrictions and regulations are required on all forms of social media in order to provide all parties with a better understanding of the need for these measures.

This study aims to discuss the level of knowledge, skills and attitude of trainee teachers from the Geography and Environment Education Program in Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris on the use and effectiveness of Web 2.0 applications in the teaching and learning process of the Geography subject in Malaysia schools. This research applied purposive sampling by using a questionnaire as a primary data collection and distributed to the respondent by Google Form. 100 trainee teachers undergoing teaching training sessions in various schools in Malaysia were selected as the study sample and the data collection was carried out from April to June 2020. By using SPSS, descriptive analyses such as frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation were used to analyse and present the data. The findings of the study showed that the mean values for the level of knowledge (mean = 4.09), skills (mean = 3.69) and attitude (mean = 3.98) are high. We have proposed some recommendations to the Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) and Trainee Teachers of the Education Program to further reinforce the implementation of integrating Web 2.0 applications into the teaching and learning of geography. In implications, this study can guide trainee teachers and other stakeholders to consider the teaching strategies that are appropriate for the use of Web 2.0 applications in the classroom. The selection of a Web 2.0 application design that fits to the learning objectives can encourage the teaching and learning (T&L) process and subsequently helps in the improvement of students' academic achievement in the future.

Family Tracking is a mobile application that utilizes GPS technology to find out the location of each family member. There are several features such as the activity schedule, group chat, and the supervision area added by parents to the child's activity schedule. This application was developed with hybrid approach using Ionic 3 Framework development tools with support of Firebase backend. With the hybrid approach can produce multi-platform applications using the same source code. In this research the application was developed for the Android and iOS platforms. Based on functionality testing in accordance with ISO 9126-2 standards, that all features and functions contained in the application run well on both platforms. Then based on the application performance testing on each device that has the same benchmark value, the application can run stablen iOS devices but has the highest memory usage compared to Android devices with an average difference of 33.81mb. And then applications on iOS devices have lower CPU usage than Android devices, with differences in usage averaging 18.79%. Then based on the results of interviews to get user feedback, the results show that the application can running well and function as expected on Android and iOS devices.

The recent reviews indicated learning expertise level could be enhanced with skills, creativity and preferences. This stage should be taken at the first stage combined highly with providing the framework in underlying the learning expertise. This paper attempts to propose the model of Hau-Kashyap used to describe in yielding the robust results to measure the learning expertise level. This approach was selected to give an insight with a more accurate by examining twelve items of questionnaire applied among the students at tertiary level to explore the representation of wide range of knowledge and skills. The results found that the stage level of belief that ranges combined from the level of expertise 1–12 was indicated that Hau-Kashyap approach can be determined to measure the learners’ expertise more fairly and easily. This method is supposed to contribute providing the purposeful rule in combining the learning expertise constructed into a single and more informative hint with related concern of the measurement. The strategic approach to enhance cultural skills is aligned with social feeling and sense of belonging as an important element to underlie the interaction pathway with others’ diverse backgrounds. Such an approach of teaching model could be transformed and prepared to encourage ability to communicate and relate to others from diverse backgrounds. The following phase of sufficient integration amongst cognitive, social and emotional substance is reflect in the culturally responsive and communicative teaching (CRCT). This mode is an important element to advance the diverse students amidst an increasingly complex and pluralistic society. This paper is aimed at examining CRCT by having a critical look into the partnership commitment amongst interracial teachers’ daily school interaction. Data collection was conducted with 10 interracial teachers with a focus on the approach of how their partnership commitment is reflected and practiced in their daily school interaction. Thematic analysis was employed to obtain the main points of data to give insight into the multicultural school society. The findings reveal that an understanding of CRCT articulated into partnership engagement commitment has a core of three main points. These are: expanding self-awareness on cultural identity; enhancing culturally mediated emotion of social situations; and developing instructional practice for cultural sensitivity. The implication for students’ experiential learning in the multicultural classroom was also discussed. The contribution of this paper can be exerted among those involved in the education sectors. These include students, educators, principals, learning facilitators, researchers, educational technologist, instructional designers and practitioners. This is also included among the researchers who are interested in exploring, understanding and developing discerning perspectives on diversity and diverse learners in 21st century education. This study is expected to contribute by giving solving skills with the strategic approach articulated into a particular guideline to give a clear understanding in responding the multicultural classroom in the interracial school society context. This study is considered to elaborate the good feedback on the importance of CRCT in responding to emerging trends on the facades of diversity among diverse learners.

A comprehensive understanding of Ḥadīth, with their narrative background in Islamic tradition, would require the application of the principle of asbāb al-wurūd (discerning the specific circumstances for the reason or purpose of revealing Ḥadīth), an approach which gives detailed information about narrated Ḥadīth. Having such a comprehension about the essence of the message of Ḥadīth could enhance the understanding of Muslim audiences and followers. This situation will indirectly provide a stepping stone to comprehensive information to prevent misunderstanding the message of Islamic religion. Taking due cognizance of these circumstances could potentially result in preventing actions of religious radicalism, which might result from obtaining religious messages through a solely textual approach. In this situation, the sufficient application of asbāb al-wurūd plays a significant role in leading an order to achieve the contextual comprehension of the religious message of Ḥadīth. This paper aims to examine the significance of asbāb al-wurūd in understanding the contextual meaning of Ḥadīth beyond a textual basis. The findings reveal that the contextual elaboration of the message of Ḥadīth could be adapted in a proper way, in which its textual comprehension could be elaborated on clearly through detailing its asbāb al-wurūd, one method of which is to refer to Muslim scholars together with schools of thought in order to clearly attain the message of Islamic religion. Furthermore, this article attempts to address such a way of bringing about textual understanding to the context to assist in adapting the contextual significance of a clear and detailed comprehension of Ḥadīth. The significance of this study is to contribute to providing a detailed explanation on both text and context in seeking for clarity on the Ḥadīths’ information and message with a clear basis as a safeguard against extremist interpretations of Islam.

As the application of colored designs on cloth using wax in certain areas in decorating items of clothing, Batik is made through several steps that come from drawing the pattern on the paper followed by imitating the pattern on fabric, which is called ngeblat. The next phase is followed by drawing the pattern using wax, which is called mencanting. The subsequent step is the process of coloring the pattern of Batik, called pencoletan, and then subsequently followed by color-locking on Batik through covering the Batik with wax, namely basic color dyeing. This process is called menembok. The final step is making the panting process through washing, called nglorod. This process should attempt to maintain Batik with cultural sustainability, as its process contains several values, such as discipline, creativity, independence, patriotism, responsibility, cooperation, and environmental care. Based on this background, this paper attempts to examine the Batik’s cultural design and to explore its sustainability through co-curricular school program activities. This study focuses on examining the potential in the process of the application of colored design through elaborating the supporting and interfering factors in a co-curricular learning program of Batik. The analysis was made through several points, namely a co-curricular learning program of Batik for enhancing cultural sustainability, a co-curricular learning program of Batik for enhancing national culture and community responsibility, and co-curricular learning of Batik for sustainability and environmental accountability.

The technological advancement occurring in the world today has a potency to create positive and negative side effects especially on children. The positive side may entail increased empathy and acceptance of diversity through modelling the prosocial behaviours, while the negative can be manifest in aggressive behaviour, risky sexual behaviour, and substance abuse. These challenges pose a need to draw a particular attention to children’s rights of protection and care in relation to the use of technology. This paper sought to critically explore the way in which children adapt technology skills and the way they respond towards media influences. The findings revealed that the adaptive technology skills are needed in providing a considerable guidance for child protection and careful engagement towards digital information as part of their rights to natural growth and development.

Language politeness is considered one of the defining characteristics of Indonesian society. In the age of global communication and computing, moderate politeness, centered on politeness of opinion, politeness in deliberation, and politeness in respecting the opinions of others, is an important factor. However, progressive politeness in Urban Muhammadiyah Primary School is becoming a growing concern that requires special attention. The purpose of this study was to examine this violation in the interactions between learners, teachers, and principals in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. This study adopts a qualitative approach with a case study design. The data were collected from interviews, observations, and documentation. Interviews were conducted with classroom teachers, principals, and learners, while observations were recorded through field notes and reflections. Moreover, audio-visual documentation in the form of photographs, videos, and recordings during the learning processes and interactions between learners or teachers were utilized. Data collection was based on four strategies: observation, interview, documents, and audio-visual, as outlined in Creswell's theory. Validity was examined using data triangulation, member checking, prolonged duration of data collection, repeated observations in the study location, and peer examination. The findings of the study include a) There was a violation of the politeness through bullying, body shaming, and verbal abuse, which violated the principles of appreciation and sympathy. b) Urban Muhammadiyah Primary School helped promote language politeness through several methods, including performing Duha prayers, morning recitation with assistance from the teacher and principal, and teacher role modelling by arriving at school at 06.15 and reciting Asmaul Husna together. Importantly, these efforts positively affected the politeness of the learners. This study provides an update on the assistance given to learners to address impoliteness, including Duha prayers, morning recitation, and memorization of Al-Qur'an and Asmaul Husna assisted by teachers. Moreover, the school has a well equipped School Health Unit (SHU) to promote a healthy, clean, disciplined, and polite lifestyle. Appeals are made through persuasive and affectionate books and direct assistance from teachers as role models. The study of the Quran and Asmaul Husna demonstrates children's moderate politeness in expressing their opinions. The agreement to develop a joint discipline demonstrates the children's moderate politeness in deliberation.

Pemasaran merupakan kunci dari keberlanjutan aktivitas perekonomian tidak terkecuali ikan hasil tangkapan yang berasal dari Pelabuhan Perikanan Nusantara (PPN) Brondong. Ikan yang didaratkan di PPN Brondong beragam. Ikan swangi (Priacanthus tayenus) dan ikan kuniran (Upeneus sulphureus) merupakan ikan hasil tangkapan dominan serta ikan tongkol (Euthynnus affinis) dan ikan kakap merah (Lutjanus malabaricus)merupakan ikan ekonomis tinggi yang di daratkan di PPN Brondong. Nelayan PPN Brondong perhari rata-rata melakukan penangkapan ikan 159 ton ikan. Potensi besarnya hasil tangkapan yang didaratkan di PPN Brondong harus dapat diimbangi dengan pemasaran yang baik. Aktivitas pemasaran harus dapat dilakukan se efisien mungkin sehingga dari sisi bisnis dapat memberikan keuntungan yang besar dari hasil kegiatan pemasaran ini. Aktivitas distribusi pemasaran ikan yang berasal dari PPN Brondong saat ini masih belum efisien dikarenakan aktivitas pemasaran masih menggunakan alat-alat yang tradisional. Melihat kondisi itu penting untuk mengetahui tingkat efisien dari aktivitas pemasaran ikan yang berasal dari PPN Brondong. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghitung tingkat efisiensi pemasaran ikan yang ada di PPN Brondong, Lamongan, Jawa Timur. Penelitian akan dilaksanakan dengan metode kasus terhadap strategi peningkatan efisiensi pemasaran dalam pendistribusian ikan dari Pelabuhan Perikanan Pantai (PPN) Brondong. Analisis yang dipergunakan yaitu dengan rumus efisiensi pemasaran. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan didapatkan hasil yang menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas pemasaran yang ada di PPN Brondong tidak efisien. Terbukti berdasarkan analisis didapatkan ikan swangi memiliki tingkat Eps 45,44%, ikan kuniran 38,98%, ikan tongkol 57,94% dan ikan kakap merah 25,65% dengan dinyatakan dimana pemasaran dikatakan efisien jika memiliki Eps

Providing guidelines to the students is central for them to optimize their learning, so as to enhance the effectiveness of their learning. However, one of the contemporary issues debated within the dynamics of learning indicates the decline of instructional strategies, one of which occurs due to the ruling out of ethical consideration in learning. Traditional wisdom plays a role in strengthening ethical considerations needed in the learning process. This article aims to shed light on strategies utilized in dynamics of learning through addressing moral ethics. A critical review of peer-reviewed journals, articles, and books was conducted with special reference to al-Zarnūjī’s concept in Ta‘lim al-Muta‘allim . This concept contains several significant guidelines for teaching and learning instructions. The findings revealed that the dynamics of learning requires mechanical aids and rules with ethical consideration on the moral purpose to promote sustainable learning. Learning with holistic approach comprises rightful intention and comprehensive perseverance, which plays a significant role to strengthen ethical engagement in sustainable learning among the students. Finally, this study is expected to contribute to the conceptual framework on the Islamic literature, specifically in relation to sustainable learning by strengthening traditional wisdom.

Purpose: The massive expansion of digital platform has been responsible for the widespread progressive engagement created amongst learners and educators. The practice of requiring student feedback on online learning services ensures that teacher education continues to advance its strategic approach to online learning. This paper aims to examine the level of accessibility and adaptability of digital technology with particular focus on Malaysia, by elaborating the value of superior learning service and practical adaptability of online learning during the pandemic era. Design/methodology/approach: This study was conducted using qualitative approach of data collection, namely via structured interview. The listed respondents included 30 higher learners who participated in the study by providing feedback on the issues encountered during the research process. Findings: The findings revealed that the strategic enhancement of digital accessibility continued with digital adaptability to sources of learning services would contribute to advancing achievement of digital learning pathway. Practical implications: Increasing accessibility to digital platforms in digital learning system can help to shape the digital environment. Digital expansion can create unlimited boundaries for online knowledge acquisition. Social implications: The social implication refers to acquiring the abilities developed through online engagement with peers by actualising and exploring information together with continuous inter-connectedness of sharing pathway in online platform. The instructor would need to give a proportional gateway to make learners experience the digital environment for future education. Originality/value: This study aims to assess the value of developing accessibility of digital technology for students' online learning services during the pandemic and beyond. A well-structured plan would enable digital learning capabilities and mutual accessibility amongst learners. This can allow digital abilities to be transformed into collaborative teamwork amongst learners.

Purpose: The aim of this paper is to examine the strategic approach of culturally responsive and communicative teaching (CRCT) through a critical assessment of interracial teachers in their daily school interactions. Design/methodology/approach: The empirical data were obtained through interviews among ten interracial teachers. The analysis was made through a thematic approach to obtain substantial data from interviews. Findings: The findings reveal that attempts to gain sufficient comprehension of CRCT are actualized through routine interaction in the multicultural school environment hence resulting in embedding self-awareness of cultural competence in a multicultural classroom, constructing emotional and social development on cultural awareness and internalizing responsive awareness on social engagement in global learning. Originality/value: The contribution of this research provides an insightful value on expanding key consideration to support the multicultural classroom environment with an active engagement and enhancement of CRCT as fundamental basis of the multicultural classroom.

This article examines the requirements for quality learning in Islam from the perspective of al-Zarnūjī and according to his book, Ta‘līm al-Muta‘allim . This book has been a source of reference for both students and teachers in many educational institutions in Muslim countries, particularly, the Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia. The article attempts to understand the students’ learning requirements proposed by al-Zarnūjī in the above treatise. It is, therefore, a library-based research. The research tackles many issues. It addresses the need for a broad-based learning process and analyzes the requirements in the light of the modern day learning circumstances. It was found that al-Zarnūjī’s theory of quality learning is conditional on six main principles which are, indeed, determinants of quality student outcomes. These are intelligence or high learning ability; high motivation for learning; patience, emotional stability, and commitment to the learning process; availability of financial support; inspiration of the teachers; and disposition to time management in the learning process. The notion of quality education is fundamental to the classical perspective of learning in Islam.

Education is important for every Muslim society as the Prophet made it incumbent on all Muslims. However, the issue of what category of knowledge is permitted for Muslims, the method for imparting this knowledge, and what to impart (content) are arguably the main challenges in Islamic education. Many Muslim scholars have looked at the concept of knowledge from various perspectives. In his monumental work, Ta‘līm Al-Muta‘allim, the classical Muslim scholar, Al-Zarnūjī, expounds the basic principles of education in Islam, which, indeed, have been used as the teaching methodology by many scholars throughout the Muslim world. Using content analysis, this article evaluates the concept of knowledge and its imperatives in Islam from the perspective of Al-Zarnūjī. It was found that Al-Zarnūjī classified knowledge into two main categories. One is perceived as the core of society’s survival and is thus seen as binding on the entire society. This is known as farḍu kifāyah. The other is individually required and is called farḍu ‘ayn. He argues that both should be guided by the Islamic religious values. Therefore, Al-Zarnūjī considers knowledge as a means for advancement and the perfection of the individual and the society both in this world and the hereafter. This makes his concept of knowledge inseparable from the Islamic ethical values. Al-Zarnuji’s contribution to knowledge lies in the packaging and dissemination of the Islamic academic heritage, particularly, the methodology for teaching and learning which is relevant to all the levels of the education ladder.

Evaluasi kekuatan konstruksi kapal katamaran pada jarak pisah (S/L) = 0.3 dilakukan dengan paket komersial Nastran yang berbasis metode elemen hingga. Model kapal diasumsikan menggunakan bahan baja ASTM A516-70. Dalam bidang kekuatan kapal, perlu memperhitungkan kekuatan memanjang suatu konstruksi kapal. Kapal Katamaran merupakan jenis kapal kecil dengan memiliki dua lambung sehingga perlu adanya perhatian khusus dalam analisa tegangan maksimal yang nantinya akan digunakan untuk perhitungan kekuatan suatu konstruksi kapal. Penaksiran umur kelelahan dalam tugas akhir ini menggunakan metode simplified dengan pembebanan gelombang dengan memvariasikan kondisi muatan. Pembebanan gelombang disimulasikan dengan bantuan software Nastran yang manghasilkan output berupa tegangan nominal yang digunakan sebagai inputan untuk menghitung cumulative fatigue damage. Cumulative fatigue damage yang didapat digunakan untuk menghitung umur kelelahan (fatigue life) dari tujuh lokasi detail struktur yang dianggap kritis. Analisis umur kelelahan dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Simplified (sederhana). Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa sambungan struktur yang paling kritis adalah sambungan antara side girder dan balok geladak dan daerah antara gading dan inner bottom, nilai fatigue terkecil 26.4 tahun dan tidak kurang dari kriteria design life yang disyaratkan yakni 25 tahun, maka struktur katamaran tersebut masih baik dari segi rancangan desain, namun harus dilakukan penguatan struktur di lokasi-lokasi tertentu yang dianggap kritis dan rawan terjadi kegagalan agar umur dari struktur tersebut dapat bertambah sehingga mampu menjalankan tugas operasinya hingga waktu yang cukup lama.

This research aims to describes the application of a self-directed learning model based on social challenges that can improve the social skills of elementary school students. This research uses a qualitative approach, with the type of classroom action research (CAR). The research was conducted collaboratively between researchers and fourth grade teachers. The subjects of the study were 32 fourth grade students of SDN Made 4 Lamongan Regency in the 2024/2025 academic year. The data collection instruments used observation sheets, interviews, tests, and field notes. Data analysis used quantitative descriptive analysis. This research was conducted in two cycles and each cycle consisted of three meetings. The results of the study were that the percentage of students' social skills in cycle I reached 79.50% and in cycle II increased to 85.4%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the increase in students' social skills occurred due to the implementation of the self-directed learning approach based on social challenges.

Mathematics teaching nowadays still requires students to memorize formulas but does not provide an understanding of concepts.Teachers who only teaches mathematics monotonously will result in students’ learning motivation decreasing. They need to explore the use of media to help students experiencing a meaningful and practical concept. This study tried to explore the potential of Dakon traditional game as media to encourage students’ motivation and concept understanding. Dakon is proposed as a media to help students understand the material conceptually by fun learning. Dakon Matematika (Dakota) is presented as one of the media that allows students in understanding Least Common Multiple (KPK) and Greatest Common Divisor (FPB) concept in elementary school. Dakon Matematika (Dakota) potentially can foster student learning motivation because besides studying mathematics it also introduces students to one of the Indonesian traditional games that are almost abandoned. This result of study promoted the Dakon and other traditional games to in mathematic learning. Some research on the use of Dakon in mathematics learning also showed the potential use of Dakon Matematikagames in learning mathematics, especially in the KPK and FPB material at elementary school level.

Penggunaan KB implant dapat diganti setiap 3 atau 5 tahun dan ada juga yang setiap tahun, dari penggunaan KB implant banyak akseptor yang mengeluhkan terjadinya perubahan pada berat badan, haid yang tidak teratur, amenore, dan nyeri haid. Untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan lama penggunaan KB implant dengan jumlah keluhan pada akseptor di Puskesmas Junrejo Kota Batu. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif korelasional. Populasi penelitian akseptor KB implant di Puskesmas Junrejo Kota Batu berjumlah 23 responden. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dari perhitungan analisis data menggunakan regresi linier sederhana diketahui p value 0.656 > 0.25, hal ini berarti Ho diterima dan Hi ditolak, yang artinya tidak ada hubungan antara lama penggunaan KB implant dengan jumlah keluhan. Peneliti menyarankan pada pelayanan kesehatan untuk lebih menjelaskan keuntungan dan kerugian dalam pemakaian KB implant. Use of KB implant replaceable every 3 or 5 years and there also every year, from use of KB implant many acceptors that sigh the happening of change in heavy body, menstruation not regular, amenore, and menstruation pain. To detect is there the relation of long use of KB implant with complaint quantity in acceptor at Local Government Clinic of Junrejo Batu City. Research design that used is descriptive correlation. Research population of KB implant acceptor at Local Government Clinic of Junrejo Batu City is 23 respondents. Data collecting in this research is using questionnaire. Research result shows from data analysis calculation by using simple linear regression is known that p value is 0.656 > 0.25, its means that Ho accepted and Hi averse, with the meaning there is no relation between long uses of KB implant with complaint quantity.
