With the deep integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and education, the traditional medical education model has changed greatly. In view of the current application of AI technology represented by ChatGPT, machine learning in clinical medicine, changes should also be actively sought in the teaching of medical practice course. The reform necessity and research status of medical practice course teaching mode in the context of AI were elaborated from the aspects of teaching methods and effects evaluation in this study. And the reform trend for teaching mode of clinical practice course in the context of AI era from three aspects were discussed, innovation in teaching concepts and methodology, accurate teaching evaluation, and AI thinking training of teachers. This study provides a feasible way for medical colleges to train high-level medical talents to meet the development needs of the times.

This paper focuses on the design of vehicle trajectories and their control systems. A method based on quintic polynomials is utilized to develop trajectories for intelligent vehicles, ensuring the smooth continuity of the trajectory and related state curves under varying conditions. The construction of lateral and longitudinal controllers is discussed, which includes a tracking error model derived from the two-degree-of-freedom dynamic model of a two-wheeled vehicle and the application of the Frenet coordinate system transformation. The vehicle tracking performance is regulated by these controllers. Experimental verification on a small intelligent vehicle platform operating on the Ackermann steering principle was conducted. The results confirm the tracking performance of the controllers under different conditions and validate the effectiveness and feasibility of the overall framework of the study.

Icons are widely used to communicate information in graphical user interfaces, and it is essential for designers to understand how users recognize and interpret them. This study investigates the impact of university students’ knowledge structures on icon usability. It examines the effects of icon metaphors (appearance, symbolic, relational, arbitrary) and icon characteristics (concreteness, abstractness) on icon recognition. One hundred participants from the liberal arts and sciences were tested (N =50). The test parameters included form recognition rate, functional accuracy rate, and response time. The results indicated that university students’ knowledge structures influenced the recognition of icon characteristics, with liberal arts students preferring concrete icons and science students preferring abstract icons. However, differences in knowledge structure had no significant effect on icon metaphor recognition. Furthermore, the liberal arts and science students showed some differences in recognizing specific combinations of icon characteristics and metaphors. These findings suggest that icon characteristics are influenced by knowledge structure, whereas metaphor recognition is more dependent on cultural structure. Specific combinations of icon characteristics and metaphors can significantly improve icon usability. The implications of these findings suggest new ways for graphical interface icons to enhance usability.

A middle-aged man was presented with poor appetite, polyuria, polydrpsia, and headache. A sellar mass was found, along with total pituitary hypofunction and visual field defect. A biopsy of the lesion via the trans-sphenoidal approach showed inflammatory changes and granuloma formation. However, repeated cerebrospinal fluid and pathogenic examination of the pathological tissue showed no positive indications. The initial diagnosis considered autoimmune hypophysitis, and treatment of glucocorticoids combined with immunosuppressants was administered, which led to a temporary shrinkage of the lesion, but it gradually enlarged subsequently. After multidisciplinary discussion, a high possibility of pituitary tuberculosis infection was decided upon. After standardized anti-tuberculosis treatment was initiated, the lesion reduced noticeably and the patient′s condition improved. Pituitary tuberculosis infection is incredibly rare and extremely easy to misdiagnose. This case was diagnosed and treated in a timely and effective manner through a multidisciplinary approach, highlighting the importance of such an approach in dealing with rare diseases.

In recent years, people’s consumption of the health industry has increased dramatically. The tourism industry will focus on the development of rural tourism and recreation tourism, as a new form of rural recreation tourism is also regarded as one of the leading directions of recreation tourism. This paper focuses on the study of tourists’ emotion visualization model based on big data, which first screens the textual topic words of rural recreation tourism based on the method of information gain and chi-square test and classifies different recreation topics after calculating the eigenvalues of the screened topic words based on IF-IDF. On this basis, the recuperation theme texts of different themes are preprocessed, while the emotional features embedded in the texts are extracted and empowered, and the emotional tendency of tourists towards rural recuperation tourism is explored based on the support vector machine model. Taking Kunming City as an example, among the positive emotional features of tourists towards Kunming’s rural recreation tourism, the highest frequency is “good”, with a frequency of 9,153, and most of them are praises for Kunming’s “scenery”. The words “average”, “disappointment”, “regret,” and “poor” are the negative emotions generated by the failure of certain scenic spots to meet the expectations of tourists. The study confirms the existence of time-emotional tendency differences and emotional preference demand differences among tourists in order to enrich the ideas and application value of this research field and bring more practical significance to tourist destinations.

Background Technological innovations gained momentum and supported COVID-19 intelligence surveillance among high-risk populations globally. We examined technology surveillance using mobile thermometer detectors (MTDs), knowledge of App, and self-efficacy as a means of sensing body temperature as a measure of COVID-19 risk mitigation. In a cross-sectional survey, we explored COVID-19 risk mitigation, mobile temperature detectable by network syndromic surveillance mobility, detachable from clinicians, and laboratory diagnoses to elucidate the magnitude of community monitoring. Materials and Methods In a cross-sectional survey, we create in-depth comprehension of risk mitigation, mobile temperature Thermometer detector, and other variables for surveillance and monitoring among 850 university students and healthcare workers. An applied structural equation model was adopted for analysis with Amos v.24. We established that mobile usability knowledge of APP could effectively aid in COVID-19 intelligence risk mitigation. Moreover, both self-efficacy and mobile temperature positively strengthened data visualization for public health decision-making . Results The algorithms utilize a validated point-of-center test to ascertain the HealthCode scanning system for a positive or negative COVID-19 notification. The MTD is an alternative personal self-testing procedure used to verify temperature rates based on previous SARS-CoV-2 and future mobility digital health. Personal self-care of MTD mobility and knowledge of mHealth apps can specifically manage COVID-19 mitigation in high or low terrestrial areas. We found mobile usability, mobile self-efficacy, and app knowledge were statistically significant to COVID-19 mitigation. Additionally, interaction strengthened the positive relationship between self-efficacy and COVID-19. Data aggregation is entrusted with government database agencies, using natural language processing and machine learning mechanisms to validate and analyze. Conclusion The study shows that temperature thermometer detectors, mobile usability, and knowledge of App enhanced COVID-19 risk mitigation in a high or low-risk environment. The standardizing dataset is necessary to ensure privacy and security preservation of data ethics.

In order to meet the special requirements of portable and wireless monitoring device for pilot in daily simulation training, a wireless EEG monitoring system based on brain wave module TGAM is designed and implemented, which adopts the Nordic 2.4G ultra-low power wireless platform to realize wireless transmission between the acquisition equipment and the monitoring computer.The system has the characteristics of low power consumption, miniaturization and easy to use. It can monitor the EEG of the pilot during the simulated training in real time and feed back the indexes of attention and meditation.

The gear meshing noise generated by the helicopter main reducer is one of the important sources of noise in the helicopter cabin. By improving the isolation performance of the struts supporting reducer to the gear meshing vibration, the purpose of reducing the gear meshing noise in the helicopter cabin can be achieved. Piezoelectric stack periodic strut (PSPS) composed of piezoelectric stacks and passive materials periodically arranged is an original type of strut with active and passive hybrid isolation characteristics. Piezoelectric stacks and passive materials form a periodic structure, which makes PSPS have a unique stopband characteristic. The propagation of elastic waves in the stopband frequency range is attenuated, which can improve the broadband passive vibration isolation capability of the PSPS; The piezoelectric stacks can adjust the elastic wave propagation in the PSPS and improve the single-frequency or multifrequency active isolation performance of the PSPS. Since the driving voltage and current range of the piezoelectric stacks significantly affect the isolation performance of the PSPS, this article focuses on the relationship between the isolation performance of the PSPS and the voltage and current required by the piezoelectric stacks. Firstly, based on the passive material periodic structure transfer matrix model, the driving voltage and current of the piezoelectric stacks are introduced into the model, and a PSPS electromechanical coupling model based on the transfer matrix form is established. Secondly, the correctness of the model is verified by the finite element software. Based on the model, the design process of PSPS parameters is proposed. The optimal isolation performance of PSPS is predicted under the limitation of maximum driving voltage and current. The effects of damping loss factor, exciting force, period number and passive material on the requirements of electrical parameters for active control are studied. A three-period PSPS strut composed of piezoelectric stack actuator and PV strut is used for experimental research, and the matching of electrical parameters of this PSPS in the test is analyzed.

Surface hydroxyl treatment of hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) was performed in sodium hydroxide aqueous solution. With hBN, hBN-OH and nanofibrillated cellulose fibers (NFC), flexible free-standing high-content BN films were fabricated through vacuum filtration and LBL self-assembly methods. Their atomic oxygen resistance properties were evaluated in a ground-based simulation facility. The results show that mass loss and erosion yield (Ey) of hBN-OH/NFC film decline by 33% and 38% respectively compared with hBN/NFC film. After AO exposure, both films manifest carpet-like morphologies, elements oxidations and BN lattice distortions. And hBN-OH/NFC film possesses higher boron oxide content on the surface. Based on BN films responses, shielding AO models were put forward and influences of hydroxyl treatment on atomic resistance property of BN films were analysed.

[Objectives]In terms of short-range anti-missile small-caliber guns, the explosive power field of an anti-ship missile warhead and its damage to large-scale surface ships has always been a concern. [Methods] Based on the theoretical analysis and crushing test of the projectile, a model of the explosive power field of the Harpoon anti-ship missile warhead is established. Considering the relative position, velocity and flight attitude of the missile, a damage bearing model is established. Through an analysis of the vulnerability of typical ships, an equivalent target model for large surface ships is obtained. [Results] Based on the calculation and analysis, the damage threat distances of explosion shockwaves and fragments are obtained for warship structures, shipboard fixed wing aircraft, warship surface equipment and crew. [Conclusions] The established model and calculation method can realize the quantitative analysis of the threat of Harpoon anti-ship missile close-range explosion damage, Providing a basis and technical support for related research.

Studying locations of strong earthquakes (М≥8) in space and time in Central Asia has been among top prob-lems for many years and still remains challenging for international research teams. The authors propose a new ap-proach that requires changing the paradigm of earthquake focus – solid rock relations, while this paradigm is a basis for practically all known physical models of earthquake foci. This paper describes the first step towards developing a new concept of the seismic process, including generation of strong earthquakes, with reference to specific geodynamic features of the part of the study region wherein strong earthquakes were recorded in the past two centuries. Our analysis of the locations of М≥8 earthquakes shows that in the past two centuries such earthquakes took place in areas of the dynamic influence of large deep faults in the western regions of Central Asia. In the continental Asia, there is a clear submeridional structural boundary (95–105°E) between the western and eastern regions, and this is a factor controlling localization of strong seismic events in the western regions. Obviously, the Indostan plate’s pressure from the south is an energy source for such events. The strong earthquakes are located in a relatively small part of the territory of Central Asia (i.e. the western regions), which is significantly different from its neighbouring areas at the north, east and west, as evidenced by its specific geodynamic parameters. (1) The crust is twice as thick in the western regions than in the eastern regions. (2) In the western regions, the block structures re-sulting from the crust destruction, which are mainly represented by lense-shaped forms elongated in the submeridio-nal direction, tend to dominate. (3) Active faults bordering large block structures are characterized by significant slip velocities that reach maximum values in the central part of the Tibetan plateau. Further northward, slip velocities decrease gradually, yet do not disappear. (4) In the western regions of Central Asia, the recurrence time of strong earthquakes is about 25 years. It correlates with the regular activation of the seismic process in Asia which is mani-fested in almost the same time intervals; a recurrence time of a strong earthquake controlled by a specific active fault exceeds seems 100–250 years. (5) Mechanisms of all the strong earthquakes contain a slip component that is often accompanied by a compression component. The slip component corresponds to shearing along the faults revealed by geological methods, i.e. correlates with rock mass displacements in the near-fault medium. (6) GPS geodetic meas-urements show that shearing develops in the NW direction in the Tibet. Further northward, the direction changes to the sublatitudinal one. At the boundary of ~105°E, southward of 30°N, the slip vectors attain the SE direction. Further southward of 20°N, at the eastern edge of the Himalayan thrust, the slip vectors again attain the sublatitudinal direc-tion. High velocities/rates of recent crust movements are typical of the Tibet region. (7) The NW direction is typical of the opposite vectors related to the Pacific subduction zone. The resultant of the NE and NW vectors provides for the right-lateral displacement of the rocks in the submeridional border zone. (8) The geodynamic zones around the cen-tral zone (wherein the strong earthquakes are located) are significantly less geodynamically active and thus facilitate the accumulation of compression stresses in the central zone, providing for the transition of rocks to the quazi-plastic state and even flow. This is the principal feature distinguishing the region, wherein the strong earthquakes are loca-ted, from its neighboring areas. In Central Asia, the structural positions of recent strong earthquakes are determined with respect to the following factors: (1) the western regions separated in the studied territory; (2) the larger thickness of the crust in the western regions; (3) strong submeridional compression of the crust and upper lithosphere in combination with shear stresses; (4) high rates of recent crustal movements; and (5) the rheological characteristics of the crust.

The 2008 Wenchuan MS8.0 earthquake occurred on Longmenshan fault zone (LMSF), which is at the eastern margin of the Tibetan plateau. The epicenter is near the Shuimogou earthquake swarm, which was thought to be triggered by the Zipingpu reservoir after its impounding in 2004. People have speculated that the large earthquake was triggered by the water filling of the reservoir. To figure out the role of the Zipingpu reservoir on the earthquake, the local seismicity recorded by the Zipingpu local seismic network during the period from 31 July 2004 to 11 May 2008 were analyzed in detail. The distribution of hypocenters showed that most earthquakes occurred on Yingxiu-Beichuan fault (YBF) in the reservoir area with hypocenters depth less than 10 km, which is a major source fault of the Wenchuan earthquake. Useful information on fault geometry in the depth was also obtained. The spatial-temporal distribution of hypocenters demonstrated clear migration pattern that indicated pore-pressure diffusion, it also showed a hydraulic diffusivity (D) of 0.7 m2/s. Previous experiments show the existence of the synergism process of the fault under a meta-instability state before fault sliding. It enhances the stress on the stronger portion of the fault and the synergism degree by reducing strength of the weak portions and by increasing the total length of weak portions. According to this view, the pore pressure diffusion by water filling of Zipingpu reservoir increased the total length of weak portions and enhanced the stress at the focal.

The Shanxi tectonic belt is a historically earthquakeabundant area. For the majority of strong earthquakes in this area, the distribution of earthquake foci was controlled by the N–S oriented local structures on the tectonic belt. Studies of the present stress state of the Shanxi tectonic belt can contribute to the understanding of the relationship between strong earthquakes’ occurrence and their structural distribution and also facilitate assessments of regional seismic danger and determination of the regions wherein strong earthquakes may occur in future. Using the Cataclastic Analysis Method (CAM), we performed stress inversion based on the focal mechanism data of earthquakes which took place in the Shanxi tectonic belt from 1967 to 2010. Our results show that orientations of the maximum principal compressive stress axis of the Shanxi tectonic belt might have been variable before and after the 2001 Kunlun MS=8.1 strong earthquake, with two different superior trends of the NW–SE and NE–SW orientation in different periods. When the maximum principal compressive stress axis is oriented in the NE–SW direction, the pattern of the space distribution of the seismic events in the Shanxi tectonic belt shows a trend of their concentration in the N–S oriented tectonic segments. At the same time, the stress state is registered as horizontal shearing and horizontal extension in the N–S and NE–SW oriented local segments in turn. When the maximum principal compressive stress axis is NW–SE oriented, the stress state of the N–S and NE–SW oriented tectonic segments is primarily registered as horizontal shearing. Estimations of plunges of stress axes show that seismicity in the Shanxi belt corresponds primarily to the activity of lowangle faults, and highangle stress sites are located in the NE–SW oriented extensional tectonic segments of the Shanxi belt. This indicates that the stress change of the Shanxi belt is caused by adjustment of the regional stress field, rather than by the diverse seismic activities.

The article presents results of experimental studies using a bi-axial servo-control system to apply load on samples with extensional and compressional en echelon faults. During the experiments, variations of temperature and thermal images were recorded synchronously by a multi-path contact-type thermometric apparatus and a thermal image system, respectively. A digital CCD camera was employed to synchronously collect images of specimens’ surfaces. The digital speckle correlation method (DSCM) was utilized to analyze the images and to define displacements and strain fields. Our experimental results show that temperature fields have clear responses to opposite stress states in the jog areas of both types of the en echelon faults. Prior to failure of the jog area, its temperature is the highest at the compressional en echelon faults and the lowest at the extensional en echelon faults. Records by DSCM give evidence that mean strain of the jog area is the highest at compressional en echelon faults and the lowest at the extensional en echelon faults. It is revealed that deformation of the en echelon faults occurs in two stages, developing from stress build-up and fault propagation in the jog area to unstable sliding along the fault. Correspondingly, the mechanism of heating-up converts from strain heating into friction heating. During the period of transformation of the temperature rising mechanism, three events are observed in the jog area and its vicinity. Analyses of our experimental results demonstrate that variations of temperatures in the jog area can be indicative of fault sliding and suggest sliding directions. Observations and studies of temperature changes during transformation of the temperature rising mechanism at sensitive portions of faults are of great importance for early detection of precursors of unstable slip on active faults.

The stick­slip process of bending faults with one angle change of 5° at the connection location between the two line fault segments is investigated in this paper. The dynamic process and physical field evolution were observed in the laboratory, and measurements were recorded with application of fault displacement measurement, strain tensor analysis and acoustic emission (AE) techniques. The experimental results from the study of bending faults give grounds for the following primary conclusions: (1) It is clearly revealed that there is a negative correlation between the logarithms of the stick­slip cycle and loading rate; (2) With different loading rates, most of the instabilities from bending faults occurred as earthquake doublets. It means that an instable event can contains two sub­events which occur with an interval of time from 100 ms to 200 ms. (3) With application of different observation approaches, regardless of the fact that the sampling rates were the same, differences of the co­seismic response were observed. For instance, strain measurements indicated significant strain weakening stage, but fault displacement was not significantly changed before fault instability. (4) Experimental studies of high sampling rates contribute to a better understanding and awareness of earthquake precursors and the seismogenic process; such studies are helpful in analyzing the mechanism of strong earthquake processes and parameters of aftershocks.

Unloading curve analysis is a popular method in nan-indentation testing process,while the physical signification of the power-law exponent is obscure. Based on the Sneedon’s solution to elastic indentation of plane half infinite space,a new model was presented to characterize the plastic unloading behavior of Berkovich tip. The residual stress among elastic-plastic stain regions was taken into accounted. The plastic unloading behavior of Berkovich tip was characterized approximately using parabolic tip and conical tip. Experimental results indicated that parabolic tip can characterize the plastic unloading behavior more accurate and the rationality of the new model was validated.

Four oceanic squid species, Ommastrephes bartramii, Dosidicus gigas, Sthenoteuthis oualaniensis and Illex argentinus, not only support important commercial fisheries, but also play a vital role in their marine ecosystems. It is therefore important to identify them in the analyses of their predators’ stomach contents as this can yield critical information on the trophic dynamics of ecosystems. Hard beaks of the four species frequently found in their predators’ stomachs can be used to identify them. In this study, to remove the effect of size differences among individuals, measurements of upper and lower beaks were standardized with an allometric model. A discriminant analysis was carried out to compare morphological differences among the four species and between the sexes for each species. The upper rostral width and upper rostral length showed the greatest interspecific variation in the beak morphological variables of the four Ommastrephidae. The linear discriminant functions of beak morphological variables were developed for the four Ommastraphidae, which resulted in a rate of correct species classification of over 97%. Sexual dimorphism was also found in the beak morphology of O. bartramii and I. argentinus. This study suggests that morphological variables can be used to reliably classify Ommastrephidae at genus level, which can help identify the specie in the stomachs of cephalopod predators. This helps to improve the understanding of the role cephalopods play in their marine ecosystems.

Co-seismic displacements associated with the Mw9. 0 earthquake on March 11, 2011 in Japan are numerically simulated on the basis of a finite-fault dislocation model with PSGRN/PSCMP software. Compared with the inland GPS observation, 90% of the computed eastward, northward and vertical displacements have residuals less than 0.10 m, suggesting that the simulated results can be, to certain extent, used to demonstrate the co-seismic deformation in the near field. In this model, the maximum eastward displacement increases from 6 m along the coast to 30 m near the epicenter, where the maximum southward displacement is 13 m. The three-dimensional display shows that the vertical displacement reaches a maximum uplift of 14.3 m, which is comparable to the tsunami height in the near-trench region. The maximum subsidence is 5.3 m.
