Long-term plant residue retention can effectively replenish soil quality and fertility. In this study, we collected rhizosphere soil from the residual roots of annual Cenchrus fungigraminus in the Ulan Buh Desert over the past 10 years. The area, depth, and length of these roots decreased over time. The cellulose content of the residual roots was significantly higher in the later 5 years (2018–2022) than the former 5 years (2013–2017), reaching its highest value in 2021. The lignin content of the residual roots did not differ across samples except in 2015 and reached its highest level in 2021. The total sugar of the residual roots in 2022 was 227.88 ± 30.69 mg·g−1, which was significantly higher than that in other years. Compared to the original sandy soil, the soil organic matter and soil microbial biomass carbon (SMBC) contents were 2.17–2.41 times and 31.52–35.58% higher in the later 3 years (2020–2022) and reached the highest values in 2020. The residual roots also significantly enhanced the soil carbon stocks from 2018–2022. Soil dehydrogenase, nitrogenase, and N-acetyl-β-D-glucosidase (S-NAG) were significantly affected from 2019–2022. The rhizosphere soil community richness and diversity of the bacterial and fungal communities significantly decreased with the duration of the residual roots in the sandy soil, and there was a significant difference for 10 years. Streptomyces, Bacillus, and Sphigomonas were the representative bacteria in the residual root rhizosphere soil, while Agaricales and Panaeolus were the enriched fungal genera. The distance-based redundancy analysis and partial least square path model results showed that the duration of residual roots in the sandy soil, S-NAG, and SMBC were the primary environmental characteristics that shaped the microbial community. Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) is a type of tumour found in the cavity that is characterized by differentiation and metastasis to the lymph nodes. Although diagnosis strategy and clinical treatment have recently improved, the outcomes for OSCC patients remain unsatisfactory. This study verified the characteristics of circPUM1 in OSCC cells, subsequently generating dysregulated circPUM1 cell models, showing that circPUM1 promoted chemoresistance and natural killer (NK) cell toxicity. Furthermore, the transcription factor SP2 regulated the expression of circPUM1 in OSCC cells, circPUM1 acted as a molecular sponge for miR‐770‐5p. Moreover, Nucleosome Assembly Protein 1 Like 1 (NAP1L1) is a downstream target for miR‐770‐5p and essential for circPUM1‐mediated cisplatin resistance and NK cell cytotoxicity in OSCC cells. Summary: Chlorogenic acid (CGA) was modified using acyl chlorides with different levels of unsaturation (C18:0–C18:3) to enhance the lipophilicity and promote its application. The antioxidant activity of CGA derivatives in food and biological models was evaluated. All CGA derivatives had significantly greater antioxidative activity than CGA in fish oil and β‐carotene/linoleic acid emulsions (P < 0.05), but there was no linear relationship between antioxidative activity and unsaturation. The effectiveness of CGA‐C18:0 was significantly greater than that of CGA in scavenging H2O2 and reducing copper‐induced human low‐density lipoprotein (LDL) oxidation (P < 0.05). Furthermore, the H2O2 scavenging activity, inhibitions of copper‐induced human LDL oxidation and hydroxyl or peroxyl radical‐induced DNA oxidation were all linearly related to the unsaturation of the alkyl chains, mainly with the free radical chain reactions of the unsaturated bonds. Hotpot is a widely popular cooking method for sheepmeat in China. This study measured the sensory responses of 720 untrained Chinese consumers to Australian sheepmeat cooked using a hotpot technique with methods based on Meat Standards Australia protocols. Shoulder and leg cuts of 108 lambs and 109 yearlings were scored on tenderness, juiciness, flavour and overall liking with linear mixed effects models used to analyse the influence of muscle type and animal factors on these scores. On average, shoulder cuts were more palatable than legs cuts for all sensory traits (p < 0.01) and lambs compared to yearlings (p < 0.05). Intramuscular fat and muscularity were identified as strong drivers of eating quality (p < 0.05), with greater palatability for both cuts as intramuscular fat increased (range 2.5 to 7.5%), and muscularity decreased (as measured through loin weight adjusted for hot carcase weight). Consumers were unable to detect differences between animal sire type and sex in sheepmeat hotpot. These findings suggest shoulder and leg cuts performed comparatively well in hotpot compared to previously tested sheepmeat cooking methods and emphasise the importance of balanced selection for quality and yield traits to ensure that consumer satisfaction is maintained. Simple Summary: In animal husbandry, spent mushroom substrate has not been effectively utilized as an agricultural byproduct. Ensiling is an important roughage processing method that can not only improve the palatability of feed but also prolong the storage time of high-water feed. At present, due to the different physicochemical properties of various agricultural byproducts, a unified conclusion on the effects of using microbial additives in agricultural byproducts has not been reached. Therefore, this experiment investigated the effects of lactic acid bacteria and cellulase on the fermentation quality, in vitro digestibility, and aerobic stability of Flammulina velutipes spent mushroom substrate silage (F-silage) and Pleurotus eryngii spent mushroom substrate silage (P-silage). It was found that the combination of application of lactic acid bacteria and cellulase is an effective strategy for improving the fermentation quality and aerobic stability of F-silage and P-silage. In addition, cellulase can be used as an additive to improve the in vitro digestibility of P-silage. Our research results provide technical support for a thorough understanding of the effects of microbial additives on spent mushroom substrate silage and provide a theoretical basis for the production of high-quality spent mushroom substrate fermented feed. This experiment investigated the effects of lactic acid bacteria and cellulase on the fermentation quality, in vitro digestibility, and aerobic stability of Flammulina velutipes spent mushroom substrate silage (F-silage) and Pleurotus eryngii spent mushroom substrate silage (P-silage). Silage treatments included groups without any additives (control), with lactic acid bacteria (L), with cellulase (E), and with lactic acid bacteria and cellulase (M). Data analysis was performed using independent sample t-test and analysis of variance. After 45 days of ensiling, the pH in F-silage and P-silage from the L, E, and M groups were lower than those in the control group (p < 0.05). The pH, acetic acid (AA), and propionic acid (PA) levels in P-silage were lower than those in F-silage, and the LA content in P-silage was higher than that in F-silage (p < 0.05). Compared with the control, the E treatment increased in vitro neutral detergent fibre digestibility (IVNDFD) and in vitro acid detergent fibre digestibility (IVADFD) in F-silage and P-silage (p < 0.05). The aerobic stability of F-silage inoculated with L increased (p < 0.05) by 24 h compared to the control. The aerobic stability of P-silage inoculated with M increased (p < 0.05) by 6 h compared to the control. The improvement in fermentation quality and aerobic stability is extremely large in terms of applying M in F-silage and P-silage. The E is effective in improving the in vitro digestibility of P-silage. The research results provide a theoretical basis for the production of high-quality spent mushroom substrate fermented feed. Vitamin D plays a significant role in the physiological functions of the human body. However, the application of vitamin D in functional foods is limited due to its sensitivity to light and oxygen. Therefore, in this study, we developed an effective method to protect vitamin D by encapsulating it in amylose. In detail, vitamin D was encapsulated by amylose inclusion complex, followed by structural characterization and evaluation of its stability and release properties. The results of X−ray diffraction, differential scanning calorimetry, and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy showed that vitamin D was successfully encapsulated in the amylose inclusion complex, and the loading capacity was 1.96% ± 0.02%. The photostability and thermal stability of vitamin D after encapsulation was increased by 59% and 28%, respectively. In addition, in vitro simulated digestion showed that vitamin D was protected through the simulated gastric environment and can be released gradually in the simulated intestinal fluid, implying its improved bioaccessibility. Link16 data chain is applied to major combat platforms with its strong anis interference ability, but the transmission rate and utilization of Link16 are low. For this problem, a truncated code slit keying (TCSK) method based on one-way coupled map lattice (OCML) spatiotemporal chaotic sequence is proposed in this paper. The system uses spatiotemporal chaotic sequence under the OCML model as base code, then shortens the length of each chip which carries information to the original 1 /P, and mirrors each chip symmetrically to obtain a spread spectrum chip with a total length of 2/P to transmit. Compared with the original sequence, the length of this chip reduces by half to improve the transmission rate of the system. OCML sequences have great pseudo randomness and autocorrelation, and many spread spectrum sequences can be generated under the model, each sequence is unique, so one channel can accommodate lots of spread spectrum signal, which improves the efficiency of bandwidth tremendously. Maternal folic acid (FA) plays an important role in the fetus development, but it is unknown the response of hepatic metabolism in the offspring from different litter sizes to maternal FA supplementation. In the present study, this was done by feeding the ewes with 0, 16 and 32 mg/(kg·DM) FA supplemented diet during pregnancy and analysing the hepatic one-carbon metabolism-related indices and gene expression in the neonatal lambs of different litter sizes (twins, TW; triplets, TR). Regardless of litter sizes, the concentrations of folate, methionine, S-adenosylmethionine and DNA methyltransferase increased significantly, but homocysteine and S-adenosylhomocysteine decreased in the liver of newborn lambs from ewes whose diet was supplemented with FA. In TW, maternal FA status has little effect on hepatic genes expression profile of newborn lambs, and no significant enriched pathway was found. However, DEG involved in cell proliferation such as CCNA2, CCNB2, CCNE2, CDK1 and BUB1 were significantly enriched when the ewes were supplemented with FA in TR groups. In addition, nucleotide synthesis-related genes such as POLD1, POLD2, MCM4 and MCM5 were enriched markedly in DNA replication and pyrimidine metabolism pathways in triplets when a higher FA ingestion [32 mg/(kg·DM)] was implemented in ewes. This finding demonstrated that the hepatic methyl metabolism in TW and TR newborn lambs was regulated by maternal FA status. Recently, graph-based methods have been widely applied to model fitting. However, in these methods, association information is invariably lost when data points and model hypotheses are mapped to the graph domain. In this paper, we propose a novel model fitting method based on co-clustering on bipartite graphs (CBG) to estimate multiple model instances in data contaminated with outliers and noise. Model fitting is reformulated as a bipartite graph partition behavior. Specifically, we use a bipartite graph reduction technique to eliminate some insignificant vertices (outliers and invalid model hypotheses), thereby improving the reliability of the constructed bipartite graph and reducing the computational complexity. We then use a co-clustering algorithm to learn a structured optimal bipartite graph with exact connected components for partitioning that can directly estimate the model instances (i.e., post-processing steps are not required). The proposed method fully utilizes the duality of data points and model hypotheses on bipartite graphs, leading to superior fitting performance. Geometric model fitting has been widely applied in the electronic industry. However, it remains as a challenging task when handling the data corrupted by a large number of false matches (i.e., severe outliers) between two-view images. In this article, we propose a novel motion consistency guided fitting method (MCF) to robustly and efficiently estimate the parameters of model instances in data involving severe outliers. Specifically, from input data, we first generate a series of neighborhood sets, in each of which gross outliers that are inconsistent in motions can be effectively filtered, according to motion consistency among true matches (i.e., inliers). Then, we propose an effective sampling algorithm to sample minimal subsets from the generated neighborhood sets. In this way, the model hypotheses computed from the sampled minimal subsets can cover all model instances with a high probability. Furthermore, by taking advantages of the generated hypotheses and neighborhood sets, we propose a novel model selection algorithm to estimate the number and the parameters of model instances. For fitting evaluation, we also build a new dataset, in which the images are collected from a fundus camera. Experiments on a variety of electronic industrial applications show that the proposed MCF achieves higher fitting accuracy at a much lower computational cost than several state-of-the-art fitting methods. The effect of Vitamin E on the proliferation of ovine Sertoli cells was investigated. Sertoli cells were isolated and treated with various amounts of Vitamin E (0 μM, 400 μM, 800 μM, 1000 μM, 1200 μM, 1400 μM and 1600 μM) for 24 h. We found that at the concentration of 1200 μM, Vitamin E promoted Sertoli cell proliferation very effectively. It also increased the proportion of cells in the G1 phase while reduced that in the S and G2/M phases, suggesting that its effect on Sertoli cell proliferation is achieved by enhancing progression through the cell cycle. In addition, Vitamin E significantly up-regulated the transcript level of the PDPN, BMP6, AMPKα, GSK3β, Myc, and CDK6 genes and down-regulated that of PPARγ, Cyclin B1 and CDK4 as determined by qRT-PCR. Western blot analysis revealed that the expression of BMP6 and PDPN was also upregulated at the protein level, in accordance with the results of the qRT-PCR. Taken together, Vitamin E promoted Sertoli cell proliferation by affecting the expression of genes that regulate cell division and the cell cycle; this indicates that it can have a positive effect on sheep reproductive performance. Transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-β) signaling pathway plays important roles in embryonic development, cell proliferation and tissue differentiation in vertebrates. Our previous studies demonstrated that TGF-β signal activates Smad1-POU-TFAM and PP2A-Akt pathways to regulate pupal diapause in Helicoverpa armigera. In this study, we investigated the function of TGF-β activates Smad2 pathway in H. armigera. Phylogenetic analysis of H. armigera TGF-β receptor I (TGFβRI), Smad2 , Smad4 genes showed high conservation across species. In vitro experiments showed that TGFβRI was localized in the cell membrane where it binds Smad2 leading to the phosphorylation of Smad2. Smad4 was mainly localized in the cytoplasm, and bind to Smad2. Protein expression analysis showed that expression of TGFβRI, Smad4, Smad2, p-Smad2 were lower in diapause-destined pupae compared with nondiapause-destined pupae. Notably, treatment with 20-hydroxyecdysone (20E) increased expression of the above proteins. Inhibition of TGF-β/Smad2 signaling pathway delayed pupal development. LINC01355 has been demonstrated to be dysregulated in several cancers. However, the exact molecular function of LINC01355 in the pathogenesis of OSCC remains unstudied. Here, we reported the effect of LINC01355 in OSCC and investigated the mechanisms. Firstly, we found that the results indicated LINC01355 was increased in OSCC cells. Knockdown of LINC01355 repressed OSCC cell proliferation, migration, and invasion. Recently, immunotherapy is a significant method for the treatment of cancers, in which CD8+ T cells exhibit a significant role. The influence of LINC01355 on the antitumor activity of CD8+ T cells was also focused in this study. As shown, the silence of LINC01355 could repress OSCC tumor growth via inducing CD8+ T cell immune responses. In addition, we found that downregulation of LINC01355 significantly restrained CD8+ T cell apoptosis, induced CD8+ T cell percentage, and enhanced the cytolysis activity when cocultured with OSCC cells. It has been reported that the Notch pathway represses CD8+ T cell activity in cancer patients. In our present study, we displayed that lack of LINC01355 suppressed OSCC malignant behaviors and enhanced the antitumor activity of CD8+ T cells via inactivating Notch signaling. We showed that decreased LINC01355 significantly restrained the Notch signal via a decrease of Notch-1, JAG-1, and HES-1. Repression of Notch1 reversed the effect of LINC01355 in OSCC cells. In conclusion, it was implied that LINC01355 might induce the development of OSCC via modulating the Notch signal pathway, which could provide a candidate therapeutic target for OSCC. N6-Methyladenosine (m6A) modification is one of the commonest chemical modifications in eukaryotic mRNAs, which has essential effects on mRNA translation, splicing, and stability. Currently, there is a rising concern on the regulatory role of m6A in tumorigenesis. As a known component in the m6A methyltransferase complex, METTL3 (methyltransferase-like 3) plays an essential role in m6A methylation. Till now, the functions of METTL3 in oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) and its relative mechanism remain to be explored. In this research, through the GEPIA database, we found that high METTL3 expression has a correlation with poor prognosis of squamous cell carcinoma of head and neck. qRT-PCR displayed that METTL3 was highly expressed in OSCC cells. Functionally, METTL3 knockdown reduced the invasion, migration, and proliferation competence of OSCC cells and attenuated the activation of CD8+ T cells. In contrast, METTL3 overexpression resulted in opposite results. GEPIA, UALCAN, and SRAMP databases, PCR, western blot, and m6A RNA methylation assay confirmed the m6A modification of PRMT5 and PD-L1 mediated by METTL3. In conclusion, our results displayed that METTL3 intensified the metastasis and proliferation of OSCC by modulating the m6A amounts of PRMT5 and PD-L1, suggesting that METTL3 may be a therapeutic target for OSCC patients. Tumor-associated macrophages and tumor cells are significant components of tumor microenvironment. M2 polarization of tumor-associated macrophages is a crucial actor in tumor malignancy and metastasis. In this study, we studied the molecular mechanism of lncRNA DCST1-AS1 in OSCC. Here, we reported that DCST1-AS1 was significantly increased in OSCC cells. We found that loss of DCST1-AS1 obviously inhibited the proliferation, migration, and invasion of OSCC cells and xenograft tumor growth. Meanwhile, silencing of DCST1-AS1 also repressed the percentage of macrophages expressing M2 markers CD206 and CD11b. DCST1-AS1 shRNA enhanced the percentage of macrophages expressing M1 markers CD80 and CD11c. Then, we observed that loss of DCST1-AS1 suppressed OSCC progression via inactivating NF-κB signaling. As well established, NF-κB signaling exerts critical roles in tumor progression, and our study proved that DCST1-AS1 could regulate NF-κB signaling. We proved that blocking the NF-κB pathway using antagonists greatly downregulated OSCC progression and M2 macrophage polarization induced by the overexpression of DCST1-AS1. Background: Litter size affects fetal development but its relation to diet-induced fatty liver later in life is unknown.Objectives: This aim of this study was to test the hypothesis that litter size influences postweaning fatty liver development in response to soybean oil-supplemented diet.Methods: Weanling twin (TW) or triplet (TP) male lambs (n = 16) were fed a control diet or 2% soybean oil-supplemented diet (SO) for 90 d. Liver tissue morphology, biochemical parameters, and lipid metabolic enzymes were determined. Hepatic gene expression was analyzed by RNA sequencing (n = 3), followed by enrichment analysis according to Gene Ontology and the Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes. Differentially expressed genes involved in lipid metabolism were further verified by quantitative reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (n = 4). All data were analyzed by a 2-factor ANOVA, apart from differentially expressed genes, which were identified by the Benjamini-Hochberg approach (q value ≤0.05).Results: SO increased liver triglyceride (by 55%) and nonesterified fatty acid (by 54%) concentrations in TPs (P ≤ 0.05) but not in TWs (P > 0.05). SO also induced a 2.3- and 2.1-fold increase in the liver steatosis score of TPs and TWs, respectively (P ≤ 0.05). Moreover, SO reduced the activity of lipolytic enzymes including hepatic lipase and total lipase in TPs by 47% and 25%, respectively (P ≤ 0.05). In contrast, activities of lipogenic enzymes, including malic enzyme and acetyl coenzyme A carboxylase, were significantly higher in TPs (P ≤ 0.05). Moreover, TPs had higher expression of lipogenic genes, such as FASN (by 45%) and APOB (by 72%), and lower expression of lipolytic genes, such as PRKAA2 (by 28%) and CPT1A (by 43%), compared with TWs (P ≤ 0.05).Conclusions: TPs have a gene expression profile that is more susceptible to SO-induced fatty liver than that of TWs, which indicates that insufficient maternal nutrient supply at fetal and neonatal stages may increase the risk of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. Strains of the Bacillus cereus group have been widely used as probiotics for human beings, food animals, plants, and environmental remediation. Paradoxically, B. cereus is responsible for both gastrointestinal and nongastrointestinal syndromes and represents an important opportunistic food-borne pathogen. Toxicity assessment is a fundamental issue to evaluate safety of probiotics. Here, we summarize the state of our current knowledge about the toxins of B. cereus sensu lato to be considered for safety assessment of probiotic candidates. Surfactin-like emetic toxin (cereulide) and various enterotoxins including nonhemolytic enterotoxin, hemolysin BL, and cytotoxin K are responsible for food poisoning outbreaks characterized by emesis and diarrhea. BACKGROUND: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of dietary lycopene powder on meat quality and the oxidative stability of lipid and protein of longissimus thoracis (LT) in lamb. A total of 30 male lambs were randomly sampled from three feeding groups (control without lycopene supplement, 200 and 400 mg kg−1 lycopene powder respectively) after 3 months of feeding. The muscle samples were taken after slaughter and stored at 4 °C for 7 days. RESULTS: Compared with the control, the results showed that supplementation with lycopene powder gave a higher a* value (redness), and increased the levels of vitamin A and vitamin E. Increasing dietary lycopene powder resulted in a lower degree of lipid and protein oxidation, as evidenced by lower contents of thiobarbituric acid‐reactive substance and carbonyl compounds, and higher levels of sulfhydryl groups. The study was conducted to investigate the potential of liquorice extract (LE) from Glycyrrhiza uralensis as a dietary supplement for sheep to improve antioxidant capacity of meat. Fifty Tan sheep were randomly allocated to five groups with LE supplementation at levels of 0, 1000, 2000, 3000 and 4000 mg/kg feed. After 120 days, the longissimus thoracis muscle was sampled and conditioned for 0, 2, 4, 6 and 8 days at 4 °C. The results revealed that LE scavenged free radical in a dose–response manner in vitro. Supplementation with LE in animal diet increased ( P < 0.05) antioxidant content and radical scavenging activity while it decreased ( P < 0.05) reactive oxygen species (ROS) and thiobarbituric acid reactive substance (TBARS) levels of meat. Dietary LE supplementation can improve antioxidant capacity of meat, and the optimum dosage range of LE supplementation appeared to be 3000 to 4000 mg/kg feed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract: The experiment was to investigate the effect of liquorice extract (LE) as an antioxidant supplement in sheep diet on meat physical quality. Fifty-four-month-old Tan male sheep were randomly allocated among five dietary groups with LE supplementation at levels of 0mg/kg, 1000mg/kg, 2000mg/kg, 3000mg/kg and 4000mg/kg feed. After 120 days of feeding, the muscle was sampled at slaughter and the samples were conditioned for 0, 2, 4, 6 and 8 days in a chiller (4°C). The results showed that supplementation with LE decreased (P <0.05) temperature, drip loss, metmyoglobin (MetMb) concentration and percentage, whereas it increased (P <0.05) myoglobin (Mb) concentration. As aging progressed after postmortem, temperature, drip loss and Mb concentration decreased (P <0.05), but MetMb concentration and percentage increased (P <0.05). The results demonstrate that LE supplementation can improve the physical quality of fresh meat, and the data suggest the optimal dose is between 3000mg/kg and 4000mg/kg feed. ABSTRACT The effect of end point cooking temperature on quality of goat semimembranosus muscle was evaluated. The semimembranosus muscles were removed from 15 goat legs, cut into strips (4.0 cm × 4.0 cm × 5.0 cm) and vacuum packaged. Vacuum-packed strips were heated to one of nine end point temperatures: raw, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85 and 90C. Cooking losses (CLs), shear force (SF), color, protein solubility and microstructure of strips were determined. Increasing end point temperature to more than 60C led to a significant increase in CL. SF showed a four-phase change as a result of increasing end point temperature from raw to 90C. The redness a* decreased significantly ( P < 0.05) during the range of 50-80C. The collagen solubility significantly increased with increasing temperature up to 55C. The sarcoplasmic protein solubility decreased significantly ( P < 0.01), while the myofibrillar protein solubility only increased a little with increasing temperature between 55 and 90C. PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS Cooking temperature has great influence on meat textural and eating qualities. This investigation measures the effects of end point cooking temperature on CLs, SF, color, protein solubility and microstructure of goat meat. The results are beneficial in terms of providing evidence of the trend and thus allow the industries and consumers to choose the best cooking temperature during processing of goat meat. This study was conducted to investigate the carcass traits, meat quality, and volatile compounds of growing lambs under different restricted grazing time and indoor supplementary feeding systems. Fifty 3-month-old male Tan lambs (with similar body weight) were divided into five groups randomly according to grazing time 12 h/d (G12), 8 h/d(G8), 4 h/d(G4), 2 h/d (G2), and 0 h (G0, indoor supplementary feeding). Animals were slaughtered at the end of the experiment, and the longissimus thoracis (LT) samples were collected for further analysis. The results indicated that indoor supplementary feeding improved the percentages of carcass fat and non-carcass fat of pre-slaughter weight (PSW) and decreased the cooking loss of lamb meat. Grazing for 8 h/d or 2 h/d enhanced PSW, carcass, and meat percentages of PSW. Lambs grazing for 2 h/d with supplement and indoor supplementary feeding lambs had a higher level of intramuscular fat and lightness (L*) value and lower cooking loss in the LT muscle, but higher yellowness (b*) and fat content were found in indoor supplementary feeding lambs. More categories of volatile compounds were identified in meat from grazing lambs than from indoor supplementary feeding lambs, but lower content of aldehydes and total volatile flavor compounds was detected in grazing lambs. Overall, the results demonstrated that the feeding system is a main factor that affects lamb meat quality, and proper grazing time can improve the quantity and quality of lamb meat and provide meat with different flavors to the consumers.
