Abstract

The assessment of the most informative methods of diagnostics of mechanisms with electric drive has been given; their realization in a measuring complex on the basis of the virtual device has been considered. The comparative analysis of vibration methods for the analysis of current spectra and the thermal method of nondestructive testing has been carried out. It has been stated that methods of vibration diagnostics are more sensitive to defects in the mechanical part of the electric drive (determination of defects in bearing assemblies, misalignment of shafts, imbalance of rotating parts). Analysis of the current spectrum at the early stage has shown the defects of rotor windings, static and dynamic rotor eccentricity. The temperature of the bearing assemblies and the stator (the thermal control method) indicates the defects in lubrication and cooling systems. The set of methods of nondestructive control allows increase the completeness and reliability of diagnosis of the mechanism with electric drive. The optimal solution to realize into one measuring instrument all methods of diagnostics is to use the technology of virtual instruments. The list of components for the measuring part of the complex and the functional scheme of the program for processing the results have been given. Spectra of vibration of defective mechanisms have been obtained with the help of the measuring complex based on the virtual instrument. Some recommendations have been given on the introduction of the virtual appliance in the State register of measuring instruments.

29. Improving the photovoltaic performance of perovskite solar cells through the molecular design of donor–acceptor polymeric hole-transport materials.

Abstract

Conjugated donor–acceptor polymers have been regarded as attractive organic semiconductors for perovskite solar cells (PSCs) as hole-transport materials (HTMs). Herein, we report the design of four novel (X-DAD)n conjugated polymers based on alternating benzodithiophene unit (X) and thiophene-spaced benzene derivatives or pyridine (A). The variation of A building blocks has been shown to control the backbone geometry, which is crucial for achieving high charge-transport characteristics of HTMs. Particularly, introducing fluorine and methoxy-substituted blocks enabled rigid and planar backbone structure of PBPh-ff and PBPh-mm HTMs due to non-covalent intramolecular interactions. Benefiting from this merit, PBPh-ff and PBPh-mm exhibited improved hole mobilities and better hole extraction ability from MAPbI3. As a result, employing PBPh-ff as the HTM in n–i–p PSCs provided power conversion efficiency of 19.1% with an outstanding fill factor of ca. 80%. 38. Yb:YAG Slab Laser Amplifier.

Abstract

A laser amplifier based on an active element in the shape of a Yb:YAG slab is developed. It combines the propagation of an amplified elliptical beam without internal reflections, the use of high-brightness diode pump channel combining, and a heat sink made of silicon carbide. Its laser characteristics and factors limiting the output pulse energy are studied. It is shown that the application of an active element with gradient doping ensures stable operation of the laser head at pump powers of ∼0.5 kW. The use of signal radiation diverging along one axis compensates for the effect of reducing the output cross section of the amplified beam; as a result, a gain of G = 4 is ensured with a beam quality factor M2 < 1.4. Abstract

Since the first automatic missions to the Moon, the activity of dust particles from atmosphereless bodies has been recorded. Since then, a lot of theoretical and experimental studies of this effect have been carried out, but at present there is no clear understanding of the influence of external actions on the dynamics of this phenomenon. This paper presents the results of experiments to determine the effect of hard UV radiation on the activity of dust particles, which makes a significant contribution to particle dynamics.
