Breast cancer is a type of cancer responsible for higher mortality rates among women. The cruelty of breast cancer always requires a promising approach for its earlier detection. In light of this, the proposed research leverages the representation ability of pretrained EfficientNet-B0 model and the classification ability of the XGBoost model for the binary classification of breast tumors. In addition, the above transfer learning model is modified in such a way that it will focus more on tumor cells in the input mammogram. Accordingly, the work proposed an EfficientNet-B0 having a Spatial Attention Layer with XGBoost (ESA-XGBNet) for binary classification of mammograms. For this, the work is trained, tested, and validated using original and augmented mammogram images of three public datasets namely CBIS-DDSM, INbreast, and MIAS databases. Maximum classification accuracy of 97.585% (CBIS-DDSM), 98.255% (INbreast), and 98.91% (MIAS) is obtained using the proposed ESA-XGBNet architecture as compared with the existing models. Recommender systems are already being used by several biggest e-commerce websites to assist users in finding things to buy. A recommender system gains knowledge from a consumer and suggests goods from the available goods that will find most value. In this deep learning technique, the Hybrid Deep Collaborative Transformer (HDCT) method has emerged as a promising approach. However, it is crucial to thoroughly examine and rectify any potential errors or limitations in the optimization process to ensure the optimal performance of the HDCT model. This study aims to address this concern by thoroughly evaluating the HDCT method uncovering any underlying errors or shortcomings. By comparing its performance against other existing models, the proposed HDCT with Federated Learning method demonstrates superior recommendation accuracy and effectiveness. Through a comprehensive analysis, this research identifies and rectifies the errors in the HDCT model, thereby enhancing its overall performance. The findings of this study provide valuable insights for researchers and practitioners in the field of e-commerce recommendation systems. Data for the RS is collected from the Myntra fashion product dataset. Classification of different brain tumors is challenging due to unpredictable variations in intra-inter-classes. Unlike existing methods which are not effective for images of complex backgrounds, the proposed work aims at accurate classification of diverse types of brain tumors such that an appropriate model can be used for disease identification. This study considers glioma, meningioma, no tumor, and pituitary tumors for classification. To achieve an accurate classification, we explore the Xception architecture layer, which involves flattening, dropout, and dense layer operations. The model extracts features based on shapes, spatial relationships, and structure of the image, discriminating between the different brain tumor images. The model is evaluated on a dataset of 7023 MRI images for classification. The results of a large dataset and comparative study with the existing methods show that the proposed method is better than state of the art in terms of classification rate. Specifically, our method achieves more than a 90% average classification rate, which is better than state of the art. Background: The necessity of prompt and accurate brain tumor diagnosis is unquestionable for optimizing treatment strategies and patient prognoses. Traditional reliance on Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) analysis, contingent upon expert interpretation, grapples with challenges such as time-intensive processes and susceptibility to human error. Objective: This research presents a novel Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) architecture designed to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of brain tumor detection in MRI scans. Methods: The dataset used in the study comprises 7,023 brain MRI images from figshare, SARTAJ, and Br35H, categorized into glioma, meningioma, no tumor, and pituitary classes, with a CNN-based multi-task classification model employed for tumor detection, classification, and location identification. Our methodology focused on multi-task classification using a single CNN model for various brain MRI classification tasks, including tumor detection, classification based on grade and type, and tumor location identification. Results: The proposed CNN model incorporates advanced feature extraction capabilities and deep learning optimization techniques, culminating in a groundbreaking paradigm shift in automated brain MRI analysis. With an exceptional tumor classification accuracy of 99%, our method surpasses current methodologies, demonstrating the remarkable potential of deep learning in medical applications. Deep learning has attained state-of-the-art results in general image segmentation problems; however, it requires a substantial number of annotated images to achieve the desired outcomes. In the medical field, the availability of annotated images is often limited. To address this challenge, few-shot learning techniques have been successfully adapted to rapidly generalize to new tasks with only a few samples, leveraging prior knowledge. In this paper, we employ a gradient-based method known as Model-Agnostic Meta-Learning (MAML) for medical image segmentation. MAML is a meta-learning algorithm that quickly adapts to new tasks by updating a model's parameters based on a limited set of training samples. Additionally, we use an enhanced 3D U-Net as the foundational network for our models. The enhanced 3D U-Net is a convolutional neural network specifically designed for medical image segmentation. We evaluate our approach on the TotalSegmentator dataset, considering a few annotated images for four tasks: liver, spleen, right kidney, and left kidney. The results demonstrate that our approach facilitates rapid adaptation to new tasks using only a few annotated images. In 10-shot settings, our approach achieved mean dice coefficients of 93.70%, 85.98%, 81.20%, and 89.58% for liver, spleen, right kidney, and left kidney segmentation, respectively. In five-shot sittings, the approach attained mean Dice coefficients of 90.27%, 83.89%, 77.53%, and 87.01% for liver, spleen, right kidney, and left kidney segmentation, respectively. Finally, we assess the effectiveness of our proposed approach on a dataset collected from a local hospital. A shell and tube heat exchanger (STHE) for heat recovery applications was studied to discover the intricacies of its optimization. To optimize performance, a hybrid optimization methodology was developed by combining the Neural Fitting Tool (NFTool), Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), and Grey Relational Analysis (GRE). STHE heat exchangers were analyzed systematically using the Taguchi method to analyze the critical elements related to a particular response. To clarify the complex relationship between the heat exchanger efficiency and operational parameters, grey relational grades (GRGs) are first computed. A forecast of the grey relation coefficients was then conducted using NFTool to provide more insight into the complex dynamics. An optimized parameter with a grey coefficient was created after applying PSO analysis, resulting in a higher grey coefficient and improved performance of the heat exchanger. A major and far-reaching application of this study was based on heat recovery. A detailed comparison was conducted between the estimated values and the experimental results as a result of the hybrid optimization algorithm. Disability management in information systems refers to the process of ensuring that digital technologies and applications are designed to be accessible and usable by individuals with disabilities. Traditional methods face several challenges such as privacy concerns, high cost, and accessibility issues. To overcome these issues, this paper proposed a novel method named bidirectional federated learning-based Gradient Optimization (BFL-GO) for disability management in information systems. In this study, bidirectional long short-term memory (Bi-LSTM) was utilized to capture sequential disability data, and federated learning was employed to enable training in the BFL-GO method. Also, gradient-based optimization was used to adjust the proposed BFL-GO method's parameters during the process of hyperparameter tuning. In this work, the experiments were conducted on the Disability Statistics United States 2018 dataset. The performance evaluation of the BFL-GO method involves analyzing its effectiveness based on evaluation metrics, namely, specificity, F1-score, recall, precision, AUC-ROC, computational time, and accuracy and comparing its performance against existing methods to assess its effectiveness. Creating a computational device to identify human emotions via voice analysis represents a notable achievement in the sector of human-computer interaction, especially within the healthcare domain. We propose a new light-weight model for addressing challenges of emotions recognition. The model works based on CNN with change of kernel processing. The proposed model performs a direct matching to recognize speech emotions of different eight categories using a statistical model named Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) as kernel for features extraction and Cosine Similarity Measurement (CSM) as activation function for CNN model. This proposed model contains eight-folded single-layered intermediate neurons, and each neuron can segregate speech emotion pattern using CSM from the voice convergence matrix to explore a part of the solution from the whole solution. According to the WHO (World Health Organization), lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths globally. In the future, more than 2.2 million people will be diagnosed with lung cancer worldwide, making up 11.4% of every primary cause of cancer. Furthermore, lung cancer is expected to be the biggest driver of cancer-related mortality worldwide in 2020, with an estimated 1.8 million fatalities. Statistics on lung cancer rates are not uniform among geographic areas, demographic subgroups, or age groups. The chance of an effective treatment outcome and the likelihood of patient survival can be greatly improved with the early identification of lung cancer. Lung cancer identification in medical pictures like CT scans and MRIs is an area where deep learning (DL) algorithms have shown a lot of potential. This study uses the Hybridized Faster R-CNN (HFRCNN) to identify lung cancer at an early stage. This study proposes a diagnostic-integrated approach combining Empirical Bayes Harmonization (EBS), Jensen–Shannon Divergence (JSD), deep learning, and contour mathematics for cancer detection using gene expression data. One of the most prevalent cancers is oral squamous cell carcinoma, and preventing mortality from this disease primarily depends on early detection. Clinicians will greatly benefit from automated diagnostic techniques that analyze a patient's histopathology images to identify abnormal oral lesions. A deep learning framework was designed with an intermediate layer between feature extraction layers and classification layers for classifying the histopathological images into two categories, namely, normal and oral squamous cell carcinoma. The intermediate layer is constructed using the proposed swarm intelligence technique called the Modified Gorilla Troops Optimizer. While there are many optimization algorithms used in the literature for feature selection, weight updating, and optimal parameter identification in deep learning models, this work focuses on using optimization algorithms as an intermediate layer to convert extracted features into features that are better suited for classification. Three datasets comprising 2784 normal and 3632 oral squamous cell carcinoma subjects are considered in this work. Three popular CNN architectures, namely, InceptionV2, MobileNetV3, and EfficientNetB3, are investigated as feature extraction layers. Two fully connected Neural Network layers, batch normalization, and dropout are used as classification layers. With the best accuracy of 0.89 among the examined feature extraction models, MobileNetV3 exhibits good performance. The mortality rates of patients contracting the Omicron and Delta variants of COVID-19 are very high, and COVID-19 is the worst variant of COVID. Hence, our objective is to detect COVID-19 Omicron and Delta variants from lung CT-scan images. We designed a unique ensemble model that combines the CNN architecture of a deep neural network—Capsule Network (CapsNet)—and pre-trained architectures, i.e., VGG-16, DenseNet-121, and Inception-v3, to produce a reliable and robust model for diagnosing Omicron and Delta variant data. Despite the solo model's remarkable accuracy, it can often be difficult to accept its results. The ensemble model, on the other hand, operates according to the scientific tenet of combining the majority votes of various models. The adoption of the transfer learning model in our work is to benefit from previously learned parameters and lower data-hunger architecture. Likewise, CapsNet performs consistently regardless of positional changes, size changes, and changes in the orientation of the input image. The proposed ensemble model produced an accuracy of 99.93%, an AUC of 0.999 and a precision of 99.9%. Many countries are using digital transformation to increase their productivity and organizational performance. In Saudi Arabia, digital transformation is a crucial part of their Saudi Vision 2030 plan, but it is still in its early stages. To understand the factors that affect the adoption of digital transformation. The study used a qualitative interview to identify the critical success factors and challenges in adopting digital transformation at the Ministry of Education of Saudi Arabia. The main results of the study show, first, the seven main success factors include technology, employee engagement, vendor partnerships, budget, top management support, culture, and strategy. Second, the main seven challenges include organizational and strategic stakes, resistance to change, governance, data, cost, and IT infrastructure. The study developed a framework that shows the main success factors and challenges that affect adopting digital transformation in the Ministry of Education. This research investigates the uncertainties in supply chains using symmetrical and asymmetrical modeling tools, focusing on the attitudes of millennials towards Facebook retail shopping. By exploring antecedents such as pleasure, credibility, and peer interaction, this study delves into the extent of E-commerce via Facebook among Generation Z in the Middle East. Built on an exhaustive literature review, a conceptual framework is designed targeting solely Generation Z members. Employing partial least squares structural equation modeling for data analysis, the findings indicate a strong correlation between attitude and the propensity of Generation Z to make Facebook retail purchases (R2 = 0.540), affecting enjoyment, credibility, and peer communication (R2 = 0.589). Kidney tumors represent a significant medical challenge, characterized by their often-asymptomatic nature and the need for early detection to facilitate timely and effective intervention. Although neural networks have shown great promise in disease prediction, their computational demands have limited their practicality in clinical settings. This study introduces a novel methodology, the UNet-PWP architecture, tailored explicitly for kidney tumor segmentation, designed to optimize resource utilization and overcome computational complexity constraints. A key novelty in our approach is the application of adaptive partitioning, which deconstructs the intricate UNet architecture into smaller submodels. This partitioning strategy reduces computational requirements and enhances the model's efficiency in processing kidney tumor images. Additionally, we augment the UNet's depth by incorporating pre-trained weights, therefore significantly boosting its capacity to handle intricate and detailed segmentation tasks. Furthermore, we employ weight-pruning techniques to eliminate redundant zero-weighted parameters, further streamlining the UNet-PWP model without compromising its performance. To rigorously assess the effectiveness of our proposed UNet-PWP model, we conducted a comparative evaluation alongside the DeepLab V3+ model, both trained on the "KiTs 19, 21, and 23" kidney tumor dataset. Our results are optimistic, with the UNet-PWP model achieving an exceptional accuracy rate of 97.01% on both the training and test datasets, surpassing the DeepLab V3+ model in performance. The proposed way of estimating the associated macroeconomic index based on a supply chain network is a novel strategy that might give useful insights for firms and organizations trying to enhance their supply chain logistics operations. To aid in this process, the suggested technique utilizes multiple regression analysis and adaptive extreme learning machine models to determine the relative importance of each indicator in the supply chain logistics decision-making process. Deep learning is playing a major role in identifying complicated structure, and it outperforms in term of training and classification tasks in comparison to traditional algorithms. In this work, a local cloud-based solution is developed for classification of Alzheimer's disease (AD) as MRI scans as input modality. The multi-classification is used for AD variety and is classified into four stages. In order to leverage the capabilities of the pre-trained GoogLeNet model, transfer learning is employed. The GoogLeNet model, which is pre-trained for image classification tasks, is fine-tuned for the specific purpose of multi-class AD classification. Through this process, a better accuracy of 98% is achieved. As a result, a local cloud web application for Alzheimer's prediction is developed using the proposed architectures of GoogLeNet. In this study, we use LSTM (Long-Short-Term-Memory) networks to evaluate Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) data to overcome the shortcomings of conventional Alzheimer's disease (AD) detection techniques. Our method offers greater reliability and accuracy in predicting the possibility of AD, in contrast to cognitive testing and brain structure analyses. We used an MRI dataset that we downloaded from the Kaggle source to train our LSTM network. Utilizing the temporal memory characteristics of LSTMs, the network was created to efficiently capture and evaluate the sequential patterns inherent in MRI scans. Our model scored a remarkable AUC of 0.97 and an accuracy of 98.62%. During the training process, we used Stratified Shuffle-Split Cross Validation to make sure that our findings were reliable and generalizable. Our study adds significantly to the body of knowledge by demonstrating the potential of LSTM networks in the specific field of AD prediction and extending the variety of methods investigated for image classification in AD research. Recently, research into Wireless Body-Area Sensor Networks (WBASN) or Wireless Body-Area Networks (WBAN) has gained much importance in medical applications, and now plays a significant role in patient monitoring. Among the various operations, routing is still recognized as a resource-intensive activity. As a result, designing an energy-efficient routing system for WBAN is critical. The existing routing algorithms focus more on energy efficiency than security. However, security attacks will lead to more energy consumption, which will reduce overall network performance. To handle the issues of reliability, energy efficiency, and security in WBAN, a new cluster-based secure routing protocol called the Secure Optimal Path-Routing (SOPR) protocol has been proposed in this paper. This proposed algorithm provides security by identifying and avoiding black-hole attacks on one side, and by sending data packets in encrypted form on the other side to strengthen communication security in WBANs. Dementias that develop in older people test the limits of modern medicine. As far as dementia in older people goes, Alzheimer's disease (AD) is by far the most prevalent form. For over fifty years, medical and exclusion criteria were used to diagnose AD, with an accuracy of only 85 per cent. This did not allow for a correct diagnosis, which could be validated only through postmortem examination. Diagnosis of AD can be sped up, and the course of the disease can be predicted by applying machine learning (ML) techniques to Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) techniques. Dementia in specific seniors could be predicted using data from AD screenings and ML classifiers. Classifier performance for AD subjects can be enhanced by including demographic information from the MRI and the patient's preexisting conditions. In this article, we have used the Alzheimer's Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI) dataset. In addition, we proposed a framework for the AD/non-AD classification of dementia patients using longitudinal brain MRI features and Deep Belief Network (DBN) trained with the Mayfly Optimization Algorithm (MOA). An IoT-enabled portable MR imaging device is used to capture real-time patient MR images and identify anomalies in MRI scans to detect and classify AD. Our experiments validate that the predictive power of all models is greatly enhanced by including early information about comorbidities and medication characteristics. The random forest model outclasses other models in terms of precision. This research is the first to examine how AD forecasting can benefit from using multimodal time-series data. The ability to distinguish between healthy and diseased patients is demonstrated by the DBN-MOA accuracy of 97.456%, f-Score of 93.187 %, recall of 95.789 % and precision of 94.621% achieved by the proposed technique. Competitive intelligence in social media analytics has significantly influenced behavioral finance worldwide in recent years; it is continuously emerging with a high growth rate of unpredicted variables per week. Several surveys in this large field have proved how social media involvement has made a trackless network using machine learning techniques through web applications and Android modes using interoperability. This article proposes an improved social media sentiment analytics technique to predict the individual state of mind of social media users and the ability of users to resist profound effects. The proposed estimation function tracks the counts of the aversion and satisfaction levels of each inter- and intra-linked expression. It tracks down more than one ontologically linked activity from different social media platforms with a high average success rate of 99.71%. The accuracy of the proposed solution is 97% satisfactory, which could be effectively considered in various industrial solutions such as emo-robot building, patient analysis and activity tracking, elderly care, and so on. Ubiquitous mobile edge computing (MEC) using the internet of things (IoT) is a promising technology for providing low-latency and high-throughput services to end-users. Resource allocation and quality of service (QoS) optimization are critical challenges in MEC systems due to the large number of devices and applications involved. This results in poor latency with minimum throughput and energy consumption as well as a high delay rate. Therefore, this paper proposes a novel approach for resource allocation and QoS optimization in MEC using IoT by combining the hybrid kernel random Forest (HKRF) and ensemble support vector machine (ESVM) algorithms with crossover-based hunter–prey optimization (CHPO). The HKRF algorithm uses decision trees and kernel functions to capture the complex relationships between input features and output labels. The ESVM algorithm combines multiple SVM classifiers to improve the classification accuracy and robustness. The CHPO algorithm is a metaheuristic optimization algorithm that mimics the hunting behavior of predators and prey in nature. The proposed approach aims to optimize the parameters of the HKRF and ESVM algorithms and allocate resources to different applications running on the MEC network to improve the QoS metrics such as latency, throughput, and energy efficiency. The experimental results show that the proposed approach outperforms other algorithms in terms of QoS metrics and resource allocation efficiency. The emergence of the Internet of Things (IoT) and its subsequent evolution into the Internet of Everything (IoE) is a result of the rapid growth of information and communication technologies (ICT). However, implementing these technologies comes with certain obstacles, such as the limited availability of energy resources and processing power. Consequently, there is a need for energy-efficient and intelligent load-balancing models, particularly in healthcare, where real-time applications generate large volumes of data. This paper proposes a novel, energy-aware artificial intelligence (AI)-based load balancing model that employs the Chaotic Horse Ride Optimization Algorithm (CHROA) and big data analytics (BDA) for cloud-enabled IoT environments. The CHROA technique enhances the optimization capacity of the Horse Ride Optimization Algorithm (HROA) using chaotic principles. The proposed CHROA model balances the load, optimizes available energy resources using AI techniques, and is evaluated using various metrics. Experimental results show that the CHROA model outperforms existing models. For instance, while the Artificial Bee Colony (ABC), Gravitational Search Algorithm (GSA), and Whale Defense Algorithm with Firefly Algorithm (WD-FA) techniques attain average throughputs of 58.247 Kbps, 59.957 Kbps, and 60.819 Kbps, respectively, the CHROA model achieves an average throughput of 70.122 Kbps. The proposed CHROA-based model presents an innovative approach to intelligent load balancing and energy optimization in cloud-enabled IoT environments.
