The need to recognize the value of technological structures as elements of heritage has led to the establishment and development of industrial tourism. The interest in the conservation of abandoned industrial sites has not only scientific but also economic and heritage importance, especially for the regions severely affected by the industrial restructuring process. This process has had disastrous consequences, especially for the mono-industrial regions dominated by a single field of activity. One such example is the Jiu Valley, which was one of the most industrialized areas of the country and the main cities based their economy on the mining industry. But the Jiu Valley is defined not only by mining and mines, by cities and people with a precarious financial situation but also by hospitable cities and people, eager to share their traditions and culture. In this context, the article identifies the potential of exploitation of industrial structures in tourism, thus supporting the perspective component of revitalization by reuse of a mining perimeter. Investments in cultural heritage can lead to positive effects for the local economy not only in terms of cultural consumption, but also in terms of increasing the number of jobs and incomes.

One of the reasons why education in the 21st century is different, is the use of technology to enhance learning. In this context, proper project management methodology that individualize learning and makes students take responsibility for their own learning, reflect and evaluate their own learning processes, must be implemented. The educational process is approached as a result of the project management methodology considering previous experiences regarding education projects and exploring the possibilities of adapting to the dynamics of the digital age. A successful education process delivers effective learning being designed in order to enhance it. In the context of the research, Web 2.0 tools proved to be useful educational tools with significant results especially when integrating elements of Google Analytics and Gamification. So, the article proposes a framework for integrating a mixture of Web 2.0, Google Analytics and Gamification in the educational process.

Improper management practices in tourism can have an undesirable impact on the environment and society and can threaten both the development of tourism and the economic viability of communities. Awareness of this challenge has led to widespread acceptance of the concept of sustainable development. The purpose of this paper is to highlight that sustainable development is achieved with the support and participation of all parties involved in tourism. As tourism is promoted as a tool for community conservation and development, the emphasis must be on local communities and their needs and capacities. If well designed, community-based tourism can become a mechanism for reducing poverty and improving the quality of life, providing economic benefits to people in local communities. The objective of this research is to highlight the importance of collaboration actions between authorities, stakeholders and the community for the development of the Petrila Theme Park. Also, based on social and technicaleconomic studies, a business model will be proposed to allow the visualization of the potential impacts generated by the development of tourism.

The rapid development of science and technology, and the restructuring of the mining extraction industry, bring about profound changes in the structure and complexity of technological equipment used in mining. In this paper, the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) method has been applied to analyze the components of the KSW-460NE shearer machine, which fails quite frequently. The cutter drums do not match from a constructive point of view, and the concrete operation conditions, alongside the picks (being in direct contact with coal and hard inclusions) and guides are submitted to intense abrasion wear, showing a great number of failures. The data collected following the machine's exploitation allowed parameter determination characterizing the reliability of the components mentioned, the manner of failure, and the effects. Using calculation methods, it has been possible to facilitate the interpretation of the result in view of establishing measures required to improve maintenance of the dominant components of the machine, determining replacement intervals, in accordance with an imposed reliability and maintainability. The results of the study assist in the choice of suitable hardening materials for the reconditioning of cutter drums and guides that are necessary for practical trials, by which their operating times, and replacement intervals, respectively, might be additionally improved. In its evolution, according to statistics, agritourism had periods of growth but also periods of decline. It is certain that it was never on the verge of extinction. The forms of agritourism are currently experiencing the greatest momentum so far, due to the desire for freedom and the lack of rigid programs. Carried out as complementary activities, the forms of agritourism do not break the balance of peasant life, do not cause the disappearance of the existing activities until then, but allow the superior valorisations of the products obtained and implicitly their development, simultaneously with the appearance of others. Agritourism pensions increase the income of the economy of Gorj county, create jobs, develops infrastructures and creates a sense of cultural exchange between foreigners and citizens, ensures the continued promotion and preservation of cultural heritage and supports the economic survival of otherwise under-resourced communities. The aim of the paper is to establish the current state of research regarding the relationship between quality and the development of agritourism. This study presents a systematic review of key findings, such analysis helps in the identification of key research topics, interrelations, and collaboration patterns in the field of agrotourism, quality service in agrotourism, quality management in agrotourism, service quality in agrotourism based on theories derived from previous research and services literature. In this paper we introduced a new model, called Service Quality (SQ), which combines QFD and SERVQUAL methods. This model takes from the SERVQUAL method the five dimensions of requirements and three of characteristics and from the QFD method the application methodology. The originality of the SQ model consists in computing a global index that reflects the customers' requirements accomplishment level by the quality characteristics. In order to prove the viability of the SQ model, there was developed a software tool that was applied for the evaluation of a health care services provider. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
