Abstract

This work presents the automated assessment method of civic education using fusion psychology. The basis for it is the development of abilities in psychological and civic education. Five first-level evaluation indicators and seventeen second-level indicators have been filtered out. The computerized assessment model of Civic and Political Education of Integrated Psychology is constructed with timeliness by preprocessing the quantified index data with dynamic clustering and fusion using the fuzzy C-mean clustering algorithm, which is based on the evaluation indexes and training sample set. The research program on the relationship between mental health education and civics instruction is designed with the incorporation of mental health into the civics course as the starting point. Statistical analysis tools are used to analyze civics education examples that incorporate mental health education from the perspective of educational psychology. The model in this paper may successfully enhance the precision of the evaluation of the standard design of Civic and Political Education, which includes mental health education, as evidenced by its smaller RMSE and MAE of the evaluation results when compared with BP and RBF, which are 0.3151 and 0.1834, respectively. Abstract

Virtual trial assembly (VTA) using 3D laser scanning as the digital carrier can overcome the shortcomings of time‐consuming and costly physical preassembly. However, its application in large steel structures with bolted connections remains limited. First, this study introduces a novel approach for acquiring multiscale point cloud data of large steel members using terrestrial laser scanners (TLSs) and hand‐held scanner (HHS). This approach considers both the global data and the local details of the steel members. Additionally, a precise registration method based on magnetic 3D targets is proposed for multiscale point clouds, which enables the registration accuracy of multisource point clouds to reach submillimeter precision. Subsequently, a novel algorithm for feature point screening is introduced, which utilizes a dichotomous point cloud grid approach to identify and extract a significant quantity of bolt holes effectively. This approach enables fully automated and fast extraction of the point cloud on the cylindrical inner surface of the holes. Finally, the bounding box and Procrustes analysis approach are employed to perform VTA using the point cloud of the cylindrical bolt holes as the assembled features. The accuracy and feasibility of the above method are verified by a down‐scale modeling experiment and project test, which provide technical support for the VTA of large steel truss structures. 40. HVConv: Horizontal and Vertical Convolution for Remote Sensing Object Detection.

Abstract

Generally, the interesting objects in aerial images are completely different from objects in nature, and the remote sensing objects in particular tend to be more distinctive in aspect ratio. The existing convolutional networks have equal aspect ratios of the receptive fields, which leads to receptive fields either containing non-relevant information or being unable to fully cover the entire object. To this end, we propose Horizontal and Vertical Convolution, which is a plug-and-play module to address different aspect ratio problems. In our method, we introduce horizontal convolution and vertical convolution to expand the receptive fields in the horizontal and vertical directions, respectively, to reduce redundant receptive fields, so that remote sensing objects with different aspect ratios can achieve better receptive fields coverage, thereby achieving more accurate feature representation. In addition, we design an attention module to dynamically aggregate these two sub-modules to achieve more accurate feature coverage. Extensive experimental results on the DOTA and HRSC2016 datasets show that our HVConv achieves accuracy improvements in diverse detection architectures and obtains SOTA accuracy (mAP score of 77.60% with DOTA single-scale training and mAP score of 81.07% with DOTA multi-scale training).
