With the rise of computer-assisted online learning tools such as the Language Reactor, advanced captioning options such as dual subtitles (i.e. simultaneous display of on-screen texts in the first language and the second/foreign language) have gained much attention. However, little is known about how dual-subtitled viewing may be optimised to foster second/foreign language learning in multimedia learning environments. In this study, I extended Laufer and Hulstijn (Applied Linguistics, 22(1), 1–26, 2001) Involvement Load Hypothesis (ILH) to the context of audiovisual input and examined the effects of dual-subtitled viewing under multiple ILH-based interventions on vocabulary learning. University Chinese-speaking low-intermediate EFL learners (n = 72) were divided into four groups and exposed to dual-subtitled videos with varying ILH-based interventions. Using a counterbalanced 4 × 4 experimental design, I compared learners' immediate vocabulary gains and retention of target words under four different treatments across four experimental sessions, including interventions featuring an involvement load of 4 (moderate need + search + strong evaluation), an involvement load of 3 (moderate need + search + moderate evaluation), an involvement load of 2 (moderate need + search), and an involvement load of 0 (absence of need, search or evaluation). The approach to data analysis was twofold: between-groups and within-groups. ANOVA results revealed that vocabulary gains were the highest when learners viewed dual-subtitled videos under treatments with higher involvement loads. Oral reading fluency probes are essential for reading assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring. Due to the limited options for choosing oral reading fluency probes, it is important to utilize all available resources such as generative artificial intelligence (AI) like ChatGPT to create oral reading fluency probes. The purpose of this article is to describe how to use AI through ChatGPT to create customizable reading passages comparable with that of oral reading fluency probes. Using readability estimates, the ChatGPT-generated passages can be tailored to suit for specific grade levels, similar to how current publishers design oral reading fluency probes for the market. The implication of ChatGPT-generated passages is that researchers and practitioners alike could use ChatGPT to be able to create a seemingly unlimited amount of reading passages tailored to the skill level and interests of the learner for intervention material and potentially assessment material, while reducing cost and time investment. Objectives: This study aimed to assess the impact of an educational intervention on middle-aged women's knowledge and behaviour regarding various aspects of a healthy lifestyle. Design: Quasi-experimental study involving 150 middle-aged women (divided into experimental and control groups). Setting: Participants were selected from health centres of Tehran, Iran. Method: Data collection included demographic information, knowledge of a healthy lifestyle and healthy lifestyle behaviour. Participants in both the intervention and control groups completed the questionnaires before and 2 months after the educational intervention. The intervention involved 10 minutes of face-to-face training followed by distribution of training booklets provided by the Ministry of Health in Iran. Statistical analyses were conducted using SPSS. Results: Within the intervention group, significant differences were observed in total healthy lifestyle knowledge and subscales for physical activity knowledge, anthropometry knowledge, healthy diet knowledge, and smoking knowledge, between the pre- and post-intervention periods. Other than for smoking behaviour, there was no significant difference in healthy behaviours pre- and post-intervention for the experimental and also the control group. Conclusion: While there was an increase in knowledge about healthy lifestyles following the intervention, this knowledge increase was not associated with a change in healthy lifestyle behaviours. Attention should therefore be given to other influences including socio-economic factors, mental health status, environmental factors, cultural influences, duration of the intervention and psychological factors if changes in healthy behaviour are to be achieved. Education for sustainable development in universities is shaping the agenda in this area, demanding continuous improvement in quality. There is a trend towards integrating sustainability issues and the implementation of sustainable development goals into higher education. Universities responsible for educating SD professionals must teach knowledge and develop skills in line with the SDGs. However, there is insufficient attention to this in educational programs; more often it is implemented through disparate initiatives. The article presents research conducted in universities in the countries of Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan), South Caucasus (Georgia, Armenia) and the European Union (Italy, Bulgaria, Poland). The awareness of students and teachers about the SDGs, the problems of implementing SD were assessed, and ways to solve these problems were analyzed. Countries were divided into clusters for comparative analysis. The results show that students generally have limited knowledge about the global sustainable development goals, while teachers have a higher level of awareness. The article examines the contribution of education to raising students' awareness in the countries studied and their attitudes towards integrating sustainability into the curriculum. The questionnaire showed that the educational intervention significantly influences students' intention to engage in sustainability. Overall, students demonstrate positive attitudes towards incorporating sustainability issues into their education. The results of a study conducted in higher education institutions in Central Asia, South Caucasus and the European Union showed that students are generally unaware of the sustainable development goals, their information received through the Internet, media and university studies is insignificant, while teachers are better informed. Students and teachers expressed the greatest concern about environmental, social and economic problems. At the same time, students of engineering, technical and medical fields are more informed about the SDGs compared to pedagogical and socio-humanitarian fields. To increase awareness, universities are encouraged to integrate sustainability education into various disciplines, conduct seminars, round tables, promote student participation in projects and research, and promote international cooperation and knowledge sharing. Audiovisual content, including movies, series, and social networking videos, play a crucial role in the personal and social development of college students, underscoring the importance of understanding their impact on student well-being. This study aimed to identify trends that contribute to the development of educational strategies and guidelines that improve the psychological health of the student community. A sample of 601 students, aged 16 to 27 years, was analyzed using self-esteem and audiovisual media consumption questionnaires. The results reveal that moderate and selective consumption of content, especially movies, is associated with higher self-esteem. On the contrary, excessive consumption and preference for certain contents, such as series, are associated with lower self-esteem. Background: The benefits of positive psychology interventions (PPIs) have become increasingly popular. While there is an emerging evidence base on the effectiveness of applying positive psychology in curriculum as preventive, early mental health intervention for higher education students, little is known about the content and pedagogy in these promising courses. Objective: This article describes (a) the rationale for and development of a positive psychology course embedded into the curriculum that aims to foster posttraumatic growth, psychological flexibility, and socio-emotional competencies for higher education students; and (b) a mixed-method non-randomised pre-post study to evaluate the effectiveness of the positive psychology course in achieving positive participant outcomes. Methods: Higher education students from different disciplines will be enrolled to a general education course, "Positive Psychology and Personal Growth", where they will learn progressive topics and complete summative assessments related to key areas in positive psychology. In addition to lectures, participants will engage in constructivist-based experiential activities that are guided by research on PPIs, life-design interventions and constructivist learning principles. The primary outcome is posttraumatic growth, and the secondary outcomes are psychological flexibility, and socio-emotional competencies. Expected results: We hypothesised that after the curriculum-embedded PPI, participants will have significantly higher levels of posttraumatic growth, psychological flexibility, and socio-emotional competencies. Results derived from the questionnaire survey will be supported by corroborating evidence identified from qualitative analysis of participants' summative assessments and follow-up semi-structured interviews on their perceptions of the present course. Discussion: The current study will fill in a gap in existing intervention research and practise in curriculum-embedded PPIs and promote research transparency and pedagogical advancement. The intervention provides guidance and recommendations for educators to consider embedding positive psychology into the formal curriculum as cost-effective, low-intensity, structured, and sustainable educational interventions for higher education students. Background and purpose: In the evolving landscape of healthcare, telerehabilitation is emerging as a pivotal modality, especially in delivering services to vulnerable populations. With the increasing reliance on digital health solutions, there is a pressing need for physiotherapists to be adequately trained in telerehabilitation. This training is essential for them to adapt to new technologies and methodologies, ensuring effective and efficient patient care. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of a telerehabilitation educational intervention on physiotherapists' knowledge and perceptions in Bucaramanga and its metropolitan area. Methods: A group of 27 physiotherapists underwent an educational intervention focused on telerehabilitation. Before‐ and after‐intervention assessments were conducted to gauge their perceptions and knowledge. Results: Participants generally held a positive perception of telerehabilitation both before and after the intervention [Before Median (Md) and interquartile range (IQR): Md = 2.5 (IQR = 2.1–3); after: Md = 2.7 (IQR = 2.4–3.1), p = 0.256]. A significant increase in their knowledge after‐intervention was observed [Before: Md = 55.5 (IQR = 33.3–66.6)]; after: Md = 77.7 (IQR = 66.6–88.8), p = <0.001, emphasizing the potential benefits of targeted educational interventions. Conclusions: The educational intervention significantly improved physiotherapists' knowledge of telerehabilitation, underscoring the importance of professional training in this domain. While perceptions remained consistently positive, the notable increase in knowledge suggests that such educational programs are crucial for enhancing the adoption and effective use of telerehabilitation in physiotherapy practice. The aim of this article is to put forward suggestions for educating the virtue of humility in adolescence. We analyze the proposal of June Tangney, who distinguishes six traits that we have grouped into the inner dimension, related to self-knowledge, and the outer dimension referring to the relationship with others and with the universe. These six elements are analyzed in a different order for educational intervention in the classroom. The educational strategies outlined can serve as a reference to facilitate the acquisition of humility, which implies the improvement of interpersonal relationships and self-knowledge. Government interventions to address inequalities in education are common in the United Kingdom and internationally. Whilst there is a tendency for policy discourse to focus on benchmarks and indicators as measures of educational success, the inclusiveness and effectiveness of government interventions in education has been questioned. This paper uses the ecological systems perspective as a way of analysing how government interventions may, or may not, lead to real impact on young people's educational outcomes. Two case studies are presented on projects funded as part of the opportunity areas (OA) programme in England to tackle barriers to learning for young people: Ipswich 'Learning Behaviour Leads' and Norwich 'Engagement Coaches'. The research team carried out an evaluation of these projects in seven schools, using a mixed methods approach which involved interviews and reflective journals by the staff delivering the projects (n = 7), interviews with members of the school senior leadership teams (n = 7), an online survey with teachers (n = 23) and focus groups with young people involved in the projects (n = 14). The evaluation found that although there was shared understanding of the purpose and priorities of the OA programme between the macro and exosystems, there were tensions between these and the microsystem, and a lack of interconnection with the mesosystem. Whilst the projects benefited the young people involved, they fell short of the initial intentions to foster engagement amongst the most at‐risk groups, and failed to address the macro aims of fostering a pan‐system response. Introduction: The fact that adolescent people experience risky sexual behavior and have insufficient knowledge of sexual and reproductive health (SRH) indicates the need for SRH education. This study investigates the impact of peer‐educated SRH programs on the knowledge and behaviors of adolescents. Method: This study was conducted as a randomized controlled trial on 275 university students. The subjects were randomly assigned to the peer educators (n = 25), intervention (n = 125) and control (n = 125) groups using systematic random sampling. Peer educators provided face‐to‐face SRH education to the intervention group. The researcher provided the same education to the control group via the online conference method. SRH knowledge and behavior evaluated with scales before, after, and 3 and 6 months after the SRH education. The obtained data were analyzed using SPSS version 25 through statistical tests and analysis of covariance. Results: The female and male ratio of the participants was almost equal (49.4%, 50.6%). The mean age was found to be 20.42 ± 1.14 years. The mean scores of the students in the intervention group increased from 21.20 ± 0.14 to 35.20 ± 0.07 for sexual health knowledge questionnaire (SHKQ), and from 130.56 ± 0.55 to 147,90 ± 0,25 for reproductive health scale (RHS) after the education. Compared with the control group, these increases in the mean scores of SHKQ and RHS were found to be statistically significant. Conclusion: The findings show the important role of the SRH peer education method on the effect of transferring knowledge about sexual behaviors. This paper reports on the findings from a quantitative study regarding the correlation between teachers' beliefs about their practices as leaders and the available leadership opportunities in six dimensions: developmental focused, recognition, collegiality, communication, autonomy and positive environment. The data were collected by administering a survey questionnaire among all the 220 teachers working in different schools under the umbrella of a private school system in Karachi, Pakistan. The analysis has revealed the existence of a significant correlation between teachers' beliefs about their practices as leaders and available leadership opportunities in the six dimensions to a varying extent – strong in the dimension of positive environment, moderate in collegiality and communication and weak in developmental focus, recognition and autonomy. The existence of significant correlation implies that teachers' practices as leaders can be enhanced through intentional intervention by providing them with opportunities in the schools. Further analysis of teachers' responses toward the items has revealed that teachers' practices as leaders can be improved through developing a positive environment in the school, providing teachers with ongoing professional development opportunities and involving them in the decision-making process. Indigenous knowledge is generally recognised as an inferior social experience in spaces of knowledge production. The educational issue that results from this process imposes barriers to the integration of these epistemologies in the school environment. This study presents a systematic review about the integration of indigenous knowledge in primary schools in developing and/or emerging countries and the results of these interventions. Through a search carried out in the electronic database b-on, from the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Porto in Portugal, 14 studies were selected. This review identified factors that influence the representation of the indigenous culture in the school environment, allowing the construction of a framework in which indigenous knowledge is often neglected in the formal education system with obstacles to its introduction into the school environment. Among the numerous fields permeated by Virtual Reality (VR), this review focuses on education and specifically, engineering education. VR allows engineering students to safely and cost-efficiently experience realistic yet simulated environments otherwise inaccessible, costly and/or dangerous. The feelings of presence and immersion generated by VR help motivate and engage students both in the theoretic and the hands-on laboratory parts of their studies. In this systematic review, 104 journal publications are selected and analyzed to cover research questions along five major axes (VR popularity; VR technology; VR-based intervention features; educational methods and assessment of learning outcomes; open research issues). Results reveal an increasing interest in this field, with equal usage of 2D and 3D VR systems. Active and experiential learning methods dominate on the pedagogical axis and aim to develop cognitive and metacognitive skills. Introduction Methods Results Conclusion The purpose of this study was to evaluate an intervention designed to encourage therapists in a municipality mental health services team to collaborate with their clients when writing journal notes. The team was part of a low‐threshold mental health service for children, adolescents and their parents. The therapists offered individual therapeutic sessions with children, adolescents and parents, as well as family sessions. The therapists documented their encounters in the clients' electronic health records.The study used a convergent mixed methods design. First, the quality and quantity of documented therapist–client interactions were measured before and after the intervention using the Scale for the Evaluation of Staff‐Patient Interactions in Progress Notes (SESPI). Cross‐tabulation and logistic regression analyses were used to examine potential differences in the recording of therapists' approaches before and after intervention. Second, we explored the therapists' experiences of participating in this project by conducting individual in‐depth interviews. Qualitative interviews were analysed by systematic text condensation. Finally, the quantitative results from assessing the journal notes were contextualised with the qualitative results from the interviews.The number of journal notes describing therapist approach and client response increased by 25% points after the intervention. In the interviews, the therapists acknowledged the intervention's relevance to their practice. However, they invited only a limited number of clients to co‐create journal notes. The clients welcomed the invitation.Collaborative documentation challenges established journal documentation practices and may strengthen the client's voice. For research-based academic interventions to continue to have positive effects on the outcomes of students with learning difficulties, teachers' initial implementation must be sustained after the removal of program support, including professional development (PD). In this mixed methods study, we investigated the extent to which teachers sustained data-based instruction (DBI) in early writing, 1–2 years after their participation in extensive PD, the Early Writing Project, before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. We applied a nested and interacting systems framework to examine how barriers and facilitators at macrosystem to student levels influenced teachers' self-reported ability or decision to sustain. Although most teachers sustained one or more core DBI components before and during the pandemic, few sustained data-based decision making. Our findings suggest that teachers' perceptions of their DBI sustainment was influenced by multiple interacting factors across system levels, such as student progress and limited time. Implications for approaches to supporting DBI, as well as implications for educational program sustainability theory, are discussed. Educational Impact and Implications Statement: In this mixed-methods study, we explored whether teachers continued using data-based instruction (DBI) for writing with their students with significant early writing difficulties 1–2 years after participating in professional development (PD), and why or why not. DBI is a process that teachers can use to design and evaluate individualized interventions for their students with significant learning difficulties. We found that many teachers were motivated to sustain one or more components of DBI because of student progress, even during the COVID-19 pandemic, but needed more support with data-based decision making. These findings can help identify ways to bridge DBI research and practice. The intention of the study was to examine the effects of a fraction intervention in a whole-class environment. The intervention aimed to enhance students' conceptual fraction knowledge, with a major focus on fraction magnitude understanding. This study included 120 fifth-grade students in standard classroom settings. Utilizing a cluster randomized controlled trial design, students were divided into either an intervention group (n = 64) or a control group (n = 56). Students in the intervention condition received a series of seven 35-minute lessons. Students in the control condition received "treatment as usual". Both post-test and delayed post-test results revealed that students in the intervention group performed significantly better than those in the control group on fraction concepts, with a stronger effect in measurement aspects compared to part–whole aspects. The intervention group also outperformed the control group on fraction arithmetic on both post-tests, while no significant difference was observed on fraction word problems. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Cisgender women and transgender men are less likely to be assessed for PrEP eligibility, prescribed PrEP, or retained in PrEP care. Thus, this pilot PrEP educational intervention was tailored for healthcare providers (HCPs) in obstetrics/gynecology who provide care to cisgender women and transgender men in an academically-affiliated, public hospital women's health clinic. The three-lecture educational curriculum designed for HCPs focused on PrEP eligibility and counseling, formulations and adherence, and prescription and payment assistance programs. Pre- and post-intervention surveys assessed HCP knowledge and barriers to PrEP counseling and prescription. Among n = 49 participants (mean age = 32.8 years; 85.7% cisgender women, mean years practicing = 4.2 years) pre-intervention, 8.7% had prior PrEP training and 61.2% felt very/somewhat uncomfortable prescribing PrEP. Post-intervention, knowledge of PrEP contraindications, eligibility, follow-up care, and assistance programs all increased. HCPs identified key barriers to PrEP care including lack of a dedicated PrEP navigator, culturally and linguistically appropriate patient materials on PrEP resources/costs, and PrEP-related content integrated into EHRs. Ongoing PrEP educational sessions can provide opportunities to practice PrEP counseling, including information on financial assistance. At the institutional level, incorporating PrEP screening in routine clinical practice via EMR prompts, facilitating PrEP medication monitoring, and enhancing telehealth for follow-up care could enhance PrEP prescription. This study unveils demographic factors (age, gender, school type, compassion support, parental education, income) as correlates of achievement goal orientation. Using a convergent parallel mixed methods approach, the study investigated the influence of these demographic characteristics on achievement goal orientation among 510 adolescent students aged 12-21 (231 males, 279 females) in secondary schools in Southwestern Uganda. Using Achievement Goal Questionnaire (AGQ-R) Scale and key informant interview guide, achievement goal orientation preferences and the influence of external support were respectively measured. Qualitative findings revealed teacher-student relationships, goal-setting training, defined external rewards, and peer pressure as critical factors that influence achievement goal orientation choice. Kruskal Wallis and Mann- Whitney U test results revealed that parents income and education level, students school type and external support influenced achievement goal orientation preference among adolescent students in southwestern Uganda. In conclusion, this research provides a comprehensive understanding of the intricate interconnectedness of these variables, offering valuable insights to enrich educational interventions especially in resource-limited learning environments. This study contributes to the ongoing efforts to increase adoption of achievement goal orientation that result in self-skill enhancement through targeted and effective educational interventions. This study is focused on investigating parental involvement in students' mathematical activities. It presents a comprehensive bibliometric analysis that examines new areas of research to discover current trends and future research opportunities related to parental involvement in their children's mathematics activities. This study intends to provide a meaningful contribution toward enhancing educational interventions in the future. The metadata of the publications included in this analysis was extracted from the Scopus and ERIC databases using the search criteria "(parent OR parent) AND (involvement OR support) AND (math or math) AND student." After the screening step, a comprehensive analysis was conducted on a total of 944 articles using the tools Harzing's Publish or Perish 8, Biblioshiny, and VOSviewer 1.6.20. The findings indicated that studies on this topic covered 42 years and accumulated a total of 17,392 citations. The most prolific year in terms of publications was 2023, with a peak of 80 studies published. The leading contributors to this body of research were Jianzhong Xu and James Reed Campbell, each authoring six papers. The keyword mapping results revealed several interesting research avenues for future investigation, such as the incorporation of psychological interventions, longitudinal studies, multidisciplinary approaches, and the utilization of technology. This study explored the effects of a novel intervention, binaural beats (BB), on anxiety levels of anatomy students during cadaveric dissections and its impact on the learning environment. The study was quasi‐experimental, employing a purposive sampling strategy. State (SA) and trait (TA) anxiety levels were measured using the State–Trait Anxiety Inventory during two routine dissection sessions. SA was measured at three time points: at the start, after a 3‐min control (silence)/intervention (10 Hz BB) session, and at the end of the dissection. A post‐study survey was distributed to the participants to obtain qualitative feedback on their perceptions of BB use during cadaveric dissections. Thirteen female students participated in this study (mean age 19.62 ± 0.65 years). Both control and intervention measures significantly reduced SA levels, with BB demonstrating a greater effect size (Hedges' g = 0.98 for intervention vs. 0.76 for control). SA decreased significantly after the BB intervention (t(12) = 3.78, p = 0.003) and remained low throughout the session, in contrast to the control session, where the reduction post‐measure was not sustained (t(12) = −0.64, p = 0.54). Feedback from the post‐study survey indicated that most students found the BB intervention effective in reducing their anxiety levels before the dissection. The BB intervention was effective in reducing and maintaining students' SA levels during dissection. Students reported positive experiences with BB. Further investigations are warranted to determine whether the findings of this study can be generalized to larger and more heterogeneous populations. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective: The aim of this study was to qualitatively investigate the factors influencing internet addiction and to design an intervention based on these factors for adolescents. Methods and Materials: The research method was a sequential exploratory mixed method. In the first part of this study, a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach was used to examine adolescents' lived experiences of internet addiction. To achieve this goal, unstructured interviews were conducted, and theoretical saturation was reached after interviewing 20 adolescents. The interviews were then transcribed and entered into MAXQDA software for coding and categorization. Findings: Using thematic analysis, 33 sub-themes and 13 main themes were identified. Subsequently, based on the extracted themes and with reference to theoretical and research backgrounds, an 11-session educational intervention was developed. In the next part of the study, to validate the educational intervention, its content validity was assessed using the Delphi method. A panel of 12 experts was consulted, and the Content Validity Index (CVI) and Content Validity Ratio (CVR) were calculated. The content validity index and content validity ratio for the intervention sessions ranged from 0.91 to 1, indicating a satisfactory level. Objective: The objective of this study was to evaluate the impact of a Citizenship Education Program on seventh-grade female students' aggression levels and problem-solving skills in Gachsaran. Methods and Materials: This randomized controlled trial involved 30 seventh-grade female students randomly assigned to either an intervention group or a control group, each consisting of 15 participants. The intervention group participated in a Citizenship Education Program consisting of ten 75-minute sessions over ten weeks, while the control group received no intervention. Data were collected using the Buss- Perry Aggression Questionnaire (BPAQ) and the Social Problem-Solving Inventory-Revised (SPSI-R) at three time points: pre-intervention, post-intervention, and five-month follow-up. Data analysis included analysis of variance (ANOVA) with repeated measures and Bonferroni post-hoc tests, conducted using SPSS version 27. Findings: The results indicated a significant reduction in aggression and a significant improvement in problem-solving skills in the intervention group compared to the control group. Descriptive statistics showed that the intervention group's mean aggression score decreased from 45.67 (SD = 5.21) to 32.45 (SD = 4.78) post-intervention, and further to 30.12 (SD = 4.45) at follow-up. Problem-solving skills increased from a mean score of 50.89 (SD = 6.12) to 68.23 (SD = 5.67) post-intervention, and further to 70.45 (SD = 5.78) at follow-up. ANOVA results confirmed significant effects for time, group, and time x group interaction (p < .001). Bonferroni post-hoc tests indicated significant differences between pre-intervention and post-intervention, and pre-intervention and follow-up for both variables. Conclusion: The Citizenship Education Program significantly reduced aggression and improved problem-solving skills among seventh-grade female students, with sustained effects observed at a five-month follow-up. Background: Considering the increasing prevalence of fast food consumption among teenagers, providing the necessary training and self-awareness is the best solution for institutionalizing the prevention of fast food consumption by this group. Therefore, this issue should be taken seriously, as should the implementation of educational interventions to prevent the consumption of fast food. The theory of planned behavior (TPB) is one of the various health education styles and methods that works well. However, given that a number of local data points are crucial in establishing the efficacy of the model employed, this study looks into the impact of TPB-based education in preventing fast food intake among teenagers. Methods: A total of 180 male students, ages 15 to 18, participated in this quasi-experimental study in Shiraz, Iran. Cluster sampling was used in the study, and participants were randomly assigned to two groups: the experimental group (n = 90) and the control group (n = 90). A theory-based questionnaire was used to gather data, and both the control and experimental groups had to complete it before and three months after the intervention. The data were examined using paired t, independent t, and chi-square statistical tests after being entered into SPSS-24. Results: The results of the independent t-test showed that there was no significant difference between the two study groups before the intervention in terms of knowledge (P = 0.14), attitude (P = 0.57), subjective norms (P = 0.94), perceived behavioral control (P = 0.81), behavioral intention (P = 0.42), or behavior (P = 0.25). However, following the intervention, there was a significant difference between the two groups with regard to the noted variables (P = 0.001). Furthermore, the McNemar test results demonstrated that the experimental group's consumption of fast food varied significantly before and after the intervention (P = 0.001), but not in the control group (P = 0.07). Conclusion: The study's findings demonstrated that TPB-based treatments are successful in helping male students change their habits of consuming fewer amounts of fast food. This study demonstrated that the instructional techniques employed improved the fast food consumption behavior of the intervention group as well as the TPB's structure (attitude, subjective norms, behavioral intention, and perceived behavioral intention). This study, employing an interim analysis, investigates the effects of the Dermamecum protocol, a structured educational and tailored approach that stratifies ostomy patients into risk paths (green, yellow, red) based on pre-operative and post-operative characteristics. The green path indicates a low risk of peristomal skin complications (PSCs), focusing on sustaining healthy behaviours and basic stoma care. The yellow path represents a moderate risk, emphasizing the need for patients to self-monitor and recognize early signs of complications. The red path corresponds to high risk, requiring stringent monitoring and immediate access to healthcare support. The study aims to reduce PSCs and improve patient outcomes. Methods include the stratification of 226 patients, with significant differences in gender distribution, BMI categories, and stoma types across the paths. Results show an occurrence rate of PSCs of 5.9% in all risk paths (5.7% green path, 4.7% yellow path, and 7.9% red path, p = 0.685), significantly lower than the median rate of 35% reported in the literature. Multiple correspondence analysis validated the stratification, with distinct clusters for each path. Poisson regression models in the exploratory framework of an interim analysis identified male gender as the only significant predictor of PSCs, indicating the need for gender-specific interventions. We developed an extracurricular intervention (Societal Impact Project) with basic psychological needs supportive characteristics such as learning with self-defined problems relevant to curriculum and society, collaborative group work, and coaching by a teacher. This study aims at evaluating the intervention in fostering students’ autonomous motivation for their regular curricula.We conducted a quasi-experimental study, using between-group pre- and post-test design. Participants from the intervention and control group completed a survey before and after the intervention, which measured the satisfaction of three basic psychological needs, autonomous motivation, controlled motivation, enjoyment, value, and well-being within their regular curricula. We compared the post-test differences between the two groups while controlling for pre-test scores.Students in the intervention group had greater enjoyment in their regular curricula and perceived their regular curricula to have more value compared to students in the control group. The other variables did not differ significantly between the two groups in the post-test.The intervention is effective for improving students’ enjoyment and perceived value in their regular curricula. The variables with non-significant differences indicate the difficulty to alter students’ basic psychological needs and motivation in their regular curricula, even after participating in a long-term intervention. Introduction Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) trainees are college students who complete military courses and participate in physical and tactical training under the direction of military Service Members assigned to ROTC programs to serve as faculty and staff at US colleges. ROTC trainees report musculoskeletal injuries (MSKIs) attributable to ROTC training in line with MSKI incidence in other training environments. However, concealment is prevalent, as 66% of MSKIs in ROTC go unreported. The current study investigated if a brief, online educational video could increase ROTC trainees' reporting intentions. In addition, we investigated if the message's source (i.e. peer or authority figure) affected reporting intentions. Materials and Methods A repeated measures design was used to evaluate the impact of 2 MSKI educational interventions, one delivered by a high-achieving Army ROTC trainee (peer-led) and the other delivered by an Army ROTC battalion commander (authority-led), on MSKI reporting intentions, as compared to each other and a control intervention. Other than their personal introductions, both individuals had the same script addressing 4 areas: (1) MSKI prevalence in ROTC, (2) evidence of improved outcomes with early treatment, (3) encouraging injury reporting, and (4) addressing specific barriers and stigma beliefs previously identified in ROTC. The control condition consisted of a video demonstrating exercise technique with voiceover. A survey was developed to measure stigma regarding MSKI reporting and intentions to seek help for MSKI. ROTC trainees at 23 universities were invited to participate via an anonymous survey link. Participants completed the following using an online survey platform: (1) pre-intervention MSKI intentions scale, (2) randomly assigned intervention video, and (3) repeat MSKI intentions scale post-intervention. A two-way mixed, ANOVA was performed to assess interaction effects and main effects pre- and post-intervention. Results One-hundred ROTC trainees (39% female; age = 21 ± 2 years, ROTC experience = 2 ± 1 years) completed the study. Participants were primarily from Army ROTC programs (72 Army, 14 Air Force, and 14 Naval). Pre-intervention survey scores (possible score range 8–56 with lower scores indicating greater intention to seek help): authority-led (n  = 31) 20.3 ± 9.4, peer-led (n  = 32) 21.8 ± 8.7, control (n  = 37) 19.1 ± 10.1, total 20.3 ± 9.4. Post-intervention scores: authority-led 20.9 ± 11.2, peer-led 20.2 ± 10.0, control 17.3 ± 7.7, total 19.7 ± 9.3. There was no significant group*time interaction (F2,97 = 0.92, P  = .403, η2partial = 0.02). There were no significant main effects for time (F1,97 = 1.461, P  = .230, η2partial =0.015) or group (F2,97 = 1.08, P  = .342, η2partial = 0.02). Conclusions Findings did not support the use of a single educational intervention video to influence MSKI help-seeking intentions of ROTC trainees. Intentions may already be ingrained such that a single intervention could not influence change. Previous research on concussion reporting indicates that concealment cultures may be systematic and indoctrination of concealment can influence one's reporting intentions. Our sample had already participated in ROTC for 2 years. Future research should evaluate if MSKI help-seeking intentions change over the course of ROTC participation, or even over a military career. The Covid-19 pandemic forced universities, the world over, to shut down and adopt Emergency Remote Teaching (ERT) where all academic activities were moved online. Likewise, student support services within the universities such writing canters moved all academic literacy support services online. The transition to the online mode, however, had several operational implications for writing centres. This paper explores how the role of peer tutors in the academic intervention programme Write Up Read Up (WURU) offered to first year students at the Wits School of Education (WSoE) Writing Centre (WC) was implicated by the Covid-19 imposed move from face-to-face to online tutoring. The paper further explores how peer tutors navigated and negotiated their new online tutoring role given the increased student enrollment in the WURU programme. We conducted a focus group discussion with 13 peer tutors to elicit experiences and drew on Bahadur et al.'s (2015) explanatory conceptual framework of the 3As of resilience (the capacity to adapt, anticipate and absorb) to explain the elicited experiences. The climate crisis is widely regarded as the most significant challenge facing humanity in the 21st century In light of these concerns, Pope Francis announced the encyclical Laudato Si' in 2015, which conveyed both concern and hope in the fight to mitigate and adapt to climate change. This is further reinforced by the publication in 2023 of the encyclical Laudate Deum, which once again emphasises the relationship between religion and ecology. In this regard, an educational intervention was conducted to ascertain the extent of knowledge and acceptance of these texts and their premises among first-year high-school students. The action comprised an initial classroom analysis of the encyclicals Laudato Si' and Laudate Deum, during which various passages were read and commented on. This was followed by a second phase, in the form of a focus group, during which the students, in groups of five, were invited to share their perspectives on the relationship between faith and environmental stewardship. This study addresses the issue of adolescents' susceptibility to racial misinformation, testing a socio‐analytical intervention within an educational community through the inducement of analytical processing of misleading news on one side, and mediated contact on the other. Rolling Minds web app has been designed to implement a hybrid schools intervention thanks to which classmates engage with conversational agents, guiding them in deconstructing racial stereotypes, reframing misleading narratives and empathizing with immigrants' point of view. All the intervention activities aim to enhance intergroup contact. For this purpose, in this study, which involved 208 young participants (mean age 14.65; SD = 0.74), we pursued two research objectives. Firstly, by employing a person‐centred approach, our first research question (RQ1) is to identify subgroups of adolescents based on their propensity to engage in analytical reasoning, stereotypical beliefs and self‐transcendence values, finding different vulnerability clusters to racial misinformation. In relation to the emerging profiles, their reactions to the misleading news were initially observed (ie, sharing and fact‐checking). Secondly, regarding the second research question (RQ2), through path analysis we aim to understand whether and how adolescents characterized by different profiles vary in performing activities of socio‐analytical intervention aimed at enhancing contact intentions. These results can guide the development of tailored hybrid educational strategies to engage young people in approaching racial online misinformation in a more reflective and unbiased manner, considering the adolescents' individual differences in vulnerability to racial hoaxes. Behavior and academic outcomes in school are interrelated; students who struggle with academics are likelier to exhibit troublesome behavior and students who struggle with behavior tend to fall behind academically. Multitiered systems of support (MTSS) offer frameworks for providing increasingly intensive support for students with academic and behavioral difficulties, but it can be challenging to efficiently integrate academic and behavioral supports rather than implementing separate resource-intensive systems. This article describes how behavior support can be integrated within Tier-2 interventions for reading and mathematics. A strategy that included four evidence-based elements—teaching expectations, self-monitoring, self-evaluation, and mystery match—was embedded within academic intervention lessons to target students' academic engagement, respectful behavior, and effort. Background and Objectives: AIDS is a public health problem for which screening tests are recommended for prevention. This study aimed to determine the impact of an educational intervention based on the precaution adoption process model on HIV screening. Materials and Methods: A semi-experimental study was conducted on 120 third and fourth-year nursing students in Sabzevar city in 2019 using random sampling. Data collection tools, researcher-made questioner with appropriate validity and reliability, included demographic information, awareness, and constructs of the precaution adoption process model. Data was collected before, two weeks, and two months after the intervention in intervention and control groups. Data was analyzed using SPSS19 software and tests including Chi-square, independent t-test, GEE, and multiple linear regression. Results: In the present study, 21.7%, 35%, 28.3%, and 15% of students were in stages 2, 3, 4, and 5, respectively. After the intervention, 55% of individuals in the intervention group progressed to stage 6 (action). The educational intervention increased awareness by 4%, sensitivity by 6%, perceived benefits by 16%, and self-efficacy. Additionally, the behavior of the intervention group improved more than three times compared to the control group (P=0.028). Conclusion: The study results indicated that the educational intervention to students, despite being implemented at various stages of the model, increased the likelihood of them moving closer to the stage of performing the behavior. Therefore, designing educational interventions to promote the target group from stages of non-engagement or decision-making to HIV testing is recommended. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Using original texts of Confucian and Taoist primary classics as materials, we conducted an eight-week educational intervention experiment combining classroom teaching and post-class reflection as cultural manipulation. Ninety-four sixth-grade students from three parallel mainstream classes were randomly assigned to three intervention groups, comprising two experimental groups (Confucian and Taoist values interventions) and a control group (natural science intervention). The results suggest that the Confucian intervention had a positive effect on interdependent self and holistic thinking, the Taoist intervention had a positive effect on independent self and holistic thinking, and the natural science intervention promoted analytical thinking. An interview with Richa Gupta, chief executive officer (CEO) and co-founder of the education nonprofit organization Labhya, is presented. Gupta describes the Labhya initiative of promoting well-being and social-emotional learning programs for poor children across public education systems in India. She discusses the challenges of poverty, trauma and adversity children face and the intervention Labhya introduced that includes a curriculum to ensures students' holistic development and wellbeing.

Evolving conceptions of the purposes of higher education suggest the need for assessment practices that contribute to preparing students to navigate complex social-ecological challenges. Though shifts in assessment discourse have begun to respond to this need, further examination of the role of students in assessment processes is required. One strategy that has been highlighted is rubric co-design, in which students and instructors interactively deliberate assessment criteria. However, the literature shows that student voices are typically limited in these processes. To address this gap, this study advances a student-led rubric co-design process to promote student agency and learning. Principles from sustainability are applied to orient the activities of students in this approach by emphasizing the participative, normative and integrative features of the process. A formative intervention was conducted in an undergraduate course focused on professional skill development. Data were collected through individual and group reflections, with reflexive thematic analysis applied to develop themes that represented the ways that students navigated their experiences in the assessment process. Findings demonstrate the promise of the approach in enhancing student agency and promoting self-formation as emerging professionals, while articulating the phases and strategies that shape students' leading role in rubric co-design processes. Evaluative judgement is the ability to understand what constitutes the quality of a performance or product and to apply this understanding in the evaluation of one's own or another's task. It is, therefore, a key element in the development of learning to learn competences linked to professionalism. Experiences that explicitly encourage it in university studies are therefore essential. Peer feedback strategies could be one way of developing it. This paper presents the results of an intervention, based on a didactic sequence that included a peer assessment process, carried out in three courses with an iterative task of two feedback loops. A total of 1173 comments from 114 students were collected and analysed under a triple categorisation. A classification of peer comments is presented, which can be used and transferred to other work aiming at a similar analysis. From the first loop to the second, a higher percentage of comments classified as positive corrective feedback is observed, and an improvement in the quality of comments in all courses. In addition, the quality of comments differs greatly according to the type of assessment criteria. These results are discussed, outlining strategies for future designs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background: Research continues to be conducted on rapid response systems as patient outcomes associated with rapid response team activations are still not consistently showing benefit. One particular area of focus that is a growing area is the literature regarding training and education for individual team members of the rapid response team. Objective: The purpose of this narrative review was to describe the current literature regarding educational interventions for rapid response team members. Methods: This review was conducted according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses. To be included in the narrative review, studies needed to be reporting on educational interventional research for rapid response team members of the efferent limb. No studies were excluded based upon study design or publication years. Results: This narrative reviewincluded 6 studies. Four studies assessed outcomes associated with rapid response team members, and 2 of the studies assessed patient outcomes associated with implementing education routinely for rapid response teams. All studies found a positive impact of implementing educational interventions. Discussion: Our narrative review found that limited research has been conducted in the area of educational interventions for rapid response team members, and of the articles identified, most did not assess patient-associated outcomes. The findings demonstrate that this area of research is in its early stages, and further work is needed to identify what content should be provided in the education and what educational methodologies should be employed, and to continue to assess patient health outcomes associated with educational interventions for rapid response team members. The medium-term impact of emotional literacy support assistant (ELSA) intervention is unknown. Therefore, emotional literacy (EL) data were collected through intervention assessment records (IAR) and social and emotional support assessment (SESA) questionnaires from 18 children and young people (CYP) and 18 ELSAs and class teachers (CTs) jointly measuring the effect of a six-week intervention, employing a within-subjects design. Twelve primary schools, four secondary schools, one special school and one pupil referral unit (PRU) participated. A series of t-tests (95% CI) showed a significant positive impact on CYP's EL following six weeks of ELSA intervention with CYP, p <.001 (g = 0.57) and CT and ELSA perspective, p <.001, (g = 0.45), with no improvements for the control group. EL gains were maintained 10 weeks post intervention with CYP p <.001 (g = 0.57) and CT and ELSA perspective p <.001, (g = 0.35), thus providing tentative evidence for the impact of ELSA intervention in supporting CYP's EL that extends beyond a six-week interval time phase. Video Interaction Guidance (VIG) is a relationship-based, strengths focused intervention based on theories of intersubjectivity and attachment. Originally developed within family work, the evidence investigating the application of VIG within different relationships and settings is growing. Educational psychologists (EPs) are amongst practitioners who are electing to train in VIG and apply it in practice. This study sought to investigate how a VIG model of delivery has been developed within one educational psychology service (EPS). A case study design was implemented in which seven members of the EP team, all of whom are VIG trained, were interviewed and the data were thematically analysed. Findings illustrate the participants' perceptions of factors and the infrastructure that have influenced the development of a VIG model of delivery at the service level, and which factors have sustained it over time. Educational intervention is known to enhance learners in general, including deaf and hard-of-hearing (DHH) learners in particular. This study is a systematic review to identify educational interventions in Arab experimental studies published from 2008 to 2019 concerning deaf and hard-of-hearing children in preschool. The study used Google Scholar and Academic Research Library to identify 30 studies that were examined in terms of their objectives, characteristics of the participants, types of interventions, findings and the country in which they were conducted. A positive effect of the educational interventions was observed in all targeted studies. However, there was an absence of interventions in the first 4 years of the period (2008–2011). Subsequently, in the last 4 years of the study period, there was a considerable increase in interventions. Fifty-seven percent of these studies were conducted in Egypt, followed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (23%), Kuwait (10%) and finally Sudan (3%). This review indicates that the use of educational interventions for deaf and hard-of-hearing children in the preschool period is promising. Educators and professionals should carefully consider these children's preferences, characteristics and actual abilities when making decisions about the design of appropriate educational interventions. Much cultural capital research has accumulated since its inception in the 1970s and researchers have charted the corresponding development of cultural capital theory in academic communities. This empirical study takes the further step of offering an account of cultural capital as it is interpreted in schools. This 'interventionalist account' is based on classifications of practices that had been explicitly implemented at 14 secondary schools in England in order to give students access to cultural capital. The collection of cultural capital practices was compiled from 38 interviews with senior leaders, teachers, and support staff. Practitioners justifiably believed these practices to be supported by research evidence. It was found, however, that a wide variety of cultural capital practices exist in schools today, with limited support from research evidence and theory. I discuss how the 'evidence pipeline' has broken down in this case and is sometimes an inappropriate metaphor for conceptualising research dissemination. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Despite the recognized positive effects attributed to outdoor adventure education programs, few studies have examined the mechanisms involved therein, particularly with regard to factors that influence group process. The purpose of this qualitative research was to examine an outdoor adventure education program utilizing Yalom's helping factors in relationship to established groupwork intervention stages. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 23 individuals who participated in an 18-day outdoor adventure expedition. Findings shared include the conditions and group stages that helping factors emerge and suggest the relevance of offering adventure-based programs in nature settings for effective groupwork. The Campbellian validity typology has been used as a foundation for outcome evaluation and for developing evidence-based interventions for decades. As such, randomized control trials were preferred for outcome evaluation. However, some evaluators disagree with the validity typology's argument that randomized controlled trials as the best design for outcome evaluation, and with its strategy to maximize internal validity at the expense of external validity. The debates over these issues have been ongoing and intensive. This paper proposes a fresh idea for approaches to address this controversy, by bringing problem-solving philosophies into discussions. Three problem-solving philosophies have been used to develop intervention programs: reductionism, systems thinking, and pragmatic synthesis. This paper argues the validity typology is appropriate for evaluating reductionism-based programs only, but not systems thinking- or pragmatic synthesis-based programs. Mismatched applications of research designs in evaluation are sources of confusion and controversies. This insight indicates a pressing need for developing evaluation theories and approaches for systems thinking and pragmatic synthesis. Evaluating the impacts of instructional intervention programs on students with reading difficulties is important for setting guidelines to teachers, researchers, and policy-makers. The aim of this research is to examine how these interventions initiatives impact the reading abilities of students diagnosed with reading difficulties (RD). 38 impact sizes obtained from 17 meta-analysis studies are analysed with second order meta-analysis method. These studies included are carried out between 1999 and 2023, and focus on the effects of instructional intervention programs on the reading abilities of individuals who experience difficulties in reading. Finally, in the analysis, it is decided that the impact of instructional intervention programmes on students with RD is mid-range (g= .50). Also, instructional intervention programs caused important differences according to the type of intervention, quality level, and the year of publication on the reading abilities of individuals with RD. It is determined that comprehension strategy instruction (CSI) intervention programs are more efficient than foundational reading skills instruction (FRSI) and multicomponent instruction (MI) intervention programs. It is necessary to make more experimental studies to determine if instructional interventions cause meaningful differences in terms of the characteristics of participant students. It can also be beneficial to carry out primary meta-analysis studies that test the impact of instructional interventions on the reading abilities of individuals with RD who are determined with standardized tests. Students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) require effective academic interventions tailored to their distinctive learning characteristics. This is especially important in mathematics since approximately a quarter of learners with ASD have a mathematics learning disability. This meta-analysis examined the effectiveness of mathematics interventions for students with ASD by synthesizing and analyzing 33 studies that met inclusion criteria. The findings indicate moderate to large Tau-U single-case effect sizes (ES = .91) for the interventions. Five distinct intervention approaches were identified: multiple representations, video modeling, schema-based instruction, drill and practice, and multiple intervention components. Furthermore, these interventions were effective across various learner characteristics, mathematical performances, settings, and implementers. Background: Peritonitis is a common and serious complication of peritoneal dialysis and is one of the main causes of peritoneal dialysis technique failure and long‐term hemodialysis conversion. Objectives: The aim of the review was to identify and clarify peritonitis risk factors and learn about strategies employed at international level to prevent and reduce the occurrence of peritoneal dialysis associated infections and their complications. Design: A scoping review. Participants: Adults in pertitoneal dialysis. Measurements: The methodology framework of Arksey and O'Malley and PRISMA for Scoping Reviews guidelines were applied. A search was conducted of PubMed, Scopus and CINAHL using terms to identify peritoneal dialysis ‐associated risk factors and interventions carried out for the prevention and reduction of peritonitis in adult persons living at home. Results: The 17 studies selected were based on work carried out in nine different countries. Eleven articles analysed modifiable risk factors (low educational level, being a foreigner and low adherence to aseptic technique) and non‐modifiable risk factors (age and comorbidities) that predispose to peritonitis in peritoneal dialysis. The other six studies applied an intervention to improve the prevalence of peritonitis considering educational practices adapted to patient characteristics and the application of retraining. Conclusions: Personalised patient training and the identification of risk factors for peritonitis are key to reducing complications and enhancing the survival of peritoneal dialysis patients and the effectiveness of the technique. Context: This study is about the teaching method of simulation exercises and is set in a police education context. Simulation exercises are a central part of Swedish police education, and therefore it is of interest to explore how they are used, and for what purpose, by investigating police teachers' perceptions of this teaching and learning method. Police teachers are police officers who work as teachers at a police education unit on contracts lasting a few years, but which can be extended, and they usually lack any formal pedagogical training. Approach: In this study, the exploration of the use of simulation exercises was conducted through an inductive approach which included semi-structured interviews with 12 police teachers. The analysis was carried out in several steps. To promote impartiality in the initial data analysis the researcher first stayed close to the data and connection with the findings of previous studies was only considered in the latter stages of this analytic process. Findings: The findings show that the police teachers perceive that the overall purpose of simulation exercises is for students to apply specific content taught in courses, both physical techniques and methods, and more theoretical knowledge, in the fluid context of scenarios relevant to police work. The results also show that the teachers are aware that the purpose of the exercises is stated in the planning documents, but because they inherit the designs from previous teachers, they may not be aware of the underlying details of it or what is to be achieved in the scenario. The findings also demonstrate that the teachers learn the craft of designing and performing simulation exercises and develop their roles as teachers through an informal workplace learning process that involves tacit knowledge developed through working together, and by talking to and observing each other. Conclusion: The paper contributes to the field of simulation exercises in vocational (higher) education in that the findings can provide educated arguments for the need for scholarly discussions on simulation exercises as a pedagogical tool that supports student learning, as well as arguments for why formal pedagogically-oriented continuing education on the design and implementation of simulation exercises where learning is in the foreground may be needed to support police teachers' professional development. Purpose: A novel, Project- and Collaborative Learning-based educational method is proposed, implemented and evaluated in this paper. The aim is to exploit hands-on laboratory modules in Vocational Education in order to experientially introduce students to green, ecofriendly practices and the principles of sustainability and circular economy. Besides their apparent individual and social benefits, such knowledge and skills are also expected to raise qualifications and employability of Vocational Education graduates. Methods: The proposed method is tested through a quasi-experimental methodology, via an educational intervention with a class of Vocational Lyceum students, in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The learning content focuses on the reclaiming and reuse of operational components from damaged electrical/electronic equipment at end-of-life stage. Through repeated Analysis and Synthesis phases, students learn to extract, measure, classify and reuse operational components either to repair similar equipment or to design and construct novel devices. Results: Evaluation is carried out via closed and open type activities as well as by observation sheets of the teacher. Learning outcomes are evaluated through knowledge post-tests of the closed type while social/emotional outcomes are evaluated through questionnaires. Evaluation results indicate that the proposed method does produce cognitive and social/emotional skills gains for the students. The development of metacognitive skills and the stimulation of imagination and innovative thinking in the students is also observed by the teacher, but not formally evaluated due to practical constraints. Conclusions: The proposed method is implemented and pilot-tested with positive results both as to the cognitive and as to the social/emotional domain – yet, these results are of an indicative value, due to the limited scale of the educational intervention. Future research is necessary in order to evaluate the proposed method in extent and possibly compare results across education grades or engineering fields, as the method is generic enough to be easily adaptable for different ages/grades and engineering/technical fields of study.
