Resumo Este artigo busca compreender como os pressupostos teórico-metodológicos da concepção de escrita como trabalho são refletidos em atividades de revisão textual por docentes em formação inicial em Letras. Pauta-se na concepção dialógica de linguagem e nos pressupostos da concepção de escrita como trabalho. A pesquisa tem por contexto o curso de Letras de uma universidade pública paranaense. O corpus é constituído por atividade de revisão textual realizada por docentes em formação inicial. As revisões produzidas foram classificadas em três grupos: (1) reconhecimento somente de problemas gramaticais significativos; (2) reconhecimento incipientemente das condições de produção e/ou do gênero discursivo, além da dimensão gramatical; (3) atendimento integral aos pressupostos da escrita como trabalho. Aponta-se que não houve uma relação direta entre o estudo dos aportes teóricos e sua aplicação.

Motivated by biological applications on tumour invasion through thin membranes, we study a porous medium type equation where the density of the cell population evolves under Darcy's law, assuming continuity of both the density and flux velocity on the thin membrane which separates two domains. The drastically different scales and mobility rates between the membrane and the adjacent tissues lead to consider the limit as the thickness of the membrane approaches zero. We are interested in recovering the effective interface problem and the transmission conditions on the limiting zero-thickness surface, formally derived by Chaplain et al. (2019), which are compatible with nonlinear generalized Kedem-Katchalsky ones. Our analysis relies on a priori estimates and compactness arguments as well as on the construction of a suitable extension operator, which allows us to deal with the degeneracy of the mobility rate in the membrane, as its thickness tends to zero. Lo stesso regista due anni dopo rigirò ua secondo cortometraggio, Francesca di Rimini, dimostrazione evidente della notorietà di cui godeva in quegli anni l’episodio del quinto canto dell’Inferno dsntesco. Nel 1928 il grande regista David Wark Griffith riprese l’episodio in un lungometraggio muto che intitolò Drums of Love.

It mentions Neapolitan anthropologist tried to resolve the contradictions or the gaps between particular historical experiences and universality of the human condition. It also mentions investigation of religious anthropology.

The essay analyses the role of the imagination and of the image («phantasia», «phantasma») in the Secretum and in four sonnets of the Rerum Vulgarium Fragmenta according to the conception of passions developed by Aristotle and Galen, and later inherited by Arabic and Scholastic physicians and natural philosophers.

Stemming from a Gramscian approach, this article engages with the anthropological debate about subaltern groups' forms of resistance by using the case of marginalized Fulani groups of pastoral and nomadic origins in northwest Benin. Their experiences seemingly confirm contemporary theories on resistance, which emphasize subaltern people's capacities to tactically circumvent exploitation and exclusion and to handle contradictions between different "moral economies." Nevertheless, one should question the impact of small-scale reactions that remain on the infrapolitical level and the emancipatory role that political theories give to tactical forms of resistance of dispersed subjectivities while refusing collective strategies. Grounding Gramscian theories in ethnography, this article wonders about the possibilities and limits of margins to turn into the scene of an "autonomous political initiative" of a subaltern group. This article offers reflection on how Gramscian theories can be useful for critically analyzing the political significance of the actions and resistances of urban subaltern Africans. It interrogates the potential of subaltern political forms to profoundly transform society and to thus prepare for the African 'future city'. It merges a theoretical analysis of Gramsci's concepts relating to the città futura-and its relation to concepts of city, subalternity, political initiative and cittadinanza-with a comparative critique of urban theory applied to Africa and especially relating to the politicization of the city in Mauritania. Our reflections are based on Mauritania and the case of Nouakchott, its capital, where we have carried out our research for over a decade. We will interrogate the re-appropriations or resistances, as well as the autonomous construction of modes of living and of city-making, made by marginal inhabitants, in order to consider their political potentialities. This article offers a critique of how the anthropology of pastoral nomadic societies participates in the debate about alternative forms of political organization and emancipation. In the first part, I retrace the roots of the reciprocal and circular influence between anthropology and critical theory, focusing on Deleuze and Guattari's 'nomadology' and their reliance on ethnographies of 'primitive' and especially nomadic people. Attracted by the spatial autonomy and immanent forms of resistance of nomads, their work nourished the poststructuralist interpretation of power, which in turn influenced contemporary radical political anthropologists. In the second part, I reintroduce ethnographic evidence on pastoral nomads into the discussion. Relying on recent ethnographic evidence of the crisis of nomadism, especially in West Africa, I argue that we should be more prudent in considering interstitial spaces of freedom and resistances as strategies for structurally changing power and for emancipation. The introduction of a hydrophobic group at position 7 of 9-fluorenone-2-carboxylic acid generates new tubulin binders, the design of which is suggested by modeling studies. The synthesis is based on the use of 2,7-dibromo-fluorenone as starting material. The antiproliferative activity on two different cell lines, fluorescent microscopy, flow cytometry, and sedimentation assay tests confirmed the supposed mechanism. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The article discusses the history of political efforts to assimilate Fulani herders into the broader political life of Mauritania. The article describes the national characteristics of Mauritania after the political independence from French colonialism and its relation to Fulani group identity, the public debate concerning the Arabic ethnic origin of Fulani nomads, and the ways in which Mauritanian elites and politicians used Fulani to further political goals. Other subjects under discussion include the characteristics of identity politics in Mauritania, the intellectual life of Mauritania, and ethnic tensions at the margins of Mauritanian society.

Cdc7 is an essential kinase that promotes DNA replication by activating origins of replication. Here, we characterized the potent Cdc7 inhibitor PHA-767491 (1) in biochemical and cell-based assays, and we tested its antitumor activity in rodents. We found that the compound blocks DNA synthesis and affects the phosphorylation of the replicative DNA helicase at Cdc7-dependent phosphorylation sites. Unlike current DNA synthesis inhibitors, PHA-767491 prevents the activation of replication origins but does not impede replication fork progression, and it does not trigger a sustained DNA damage response. Treatment with PHA-767491 results in apoptotic cell death in multiple cancer cell types and tumor growth inhibition in preclinical cancer models. To our knowledge, PHA-767491 is the first molecule that directly affects the mechanisms controlling initiation as opposed to elongation in DNA replication, and its activities suggest that Cdc7 kinase inhibition could be a new strategy for the development of anticancer therapeutics. This article examines the urban fringes in terms of both the social and spatial dimensions. Taking Nouakchott as an example, the study aims to unravel how these fringes crystallize the various fractures that exist in Mauritanian society, its economic inequalities, identity-related discriminations and disparities with regard to political participation. Examination of the different systems of logic which govern the way they set in - attraction and repulsion, control and abandonment, speculation and development project, legally regulated spaces and informal practices, social exclusion and political mobilization, dependence and autonomy - is made with the objective of seeing how these fringes bear witness more generally to the different dynamics which give structure to city, society and State. Sinus node disease (SND) has caused many controversies about the appropriate stimulation mode. We compared the advantages and disadvantages of WI, AAI, DDD, and DDI mode. In an additional study, left ventricular function at rest (RI and during exercise (E) was investigated in dual chamber and ventricular stimulation mode with a stimulation rate of 70 ppm (H) and 110 ppm (E). A total of 223 patients (pts) was investigated (67 AAI, 87 VVI, 69 DDI). Hemodynamic disadvantages in VVI mode resulted in a 55% actuarial incidence of atrial fibrillation after five years. In AAI mode, we found another 25% com- plication rate due to impaired AV conduction (n = 9) or a bradyarrhythmia (n = 6) with slow ventricular response. DDD mode implies the possibility of sustaining a pacemaker mediated tachycardia. Single ventricular stimulation with a high stimulation rate (110 ppm) under E showed a worse left ventricular performance as compared to dual chamber stimulation. DDI mode shows none of the aforementioned disadvantages. To sum it up: Until a dual chamber rate responsive pacemaker becomes available, the DDI mode represents the best stimulation mode for patients with a SND. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Similarities between the known biological activities of complement derived factors and the clinical findings observed in the 'post-pump syndrome' suggest that complement may play a role in the pathogenesis of this syndrome.Mixing of blood with autologous or homologous blood revealed no significant reduction in C3 and C4 concentration, whereas mixing with plasma showed a lower C3 value without differences in C4. Mixing of blood with albumin, Normosol, D5 water and normal saline solution revealed a progressive reduction both in C3 and C4 concentration; mixing with Emagel showed C4 reduction, without reduction in C3 concentration.Our findings suggest that crystalloid solutions used for priming the pump oxygenator circuit are an additional C3 and C4 activating factor.
