Corporate sustainability (CS) has become the world's most persistent matter, which enormously enhances the success of organizations. The purpose of the study is to explore the factors that affect CS in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Saudi Arabia. The study develops a model based on vigorous literature and proposes a few hypotheses based on the studies of Moslehpour et al. (2022) and Wijethilake et al. (2023). The study employed a survey strategy and found the results on 336 valid samples. The researchers applied a path analysis using SmartPLS 4 to predict the effects. The results of the study demonstrate a positive significant impact of organizational culture (OC), business infrastructure (BI) and corporate governance (CG) on CS. On the other hand, corporate alignment (CA) is a negative significant predictor of CS. Besides, CG mediates the relationship between OC, BI and CS but does not mediate the connection between CA and CS. The SMEs' top management may enhance performance by considering OC, BI, CA and CG constructs. Finally, the findings support to literature to overcome gaps in the direct and indirect role of CG integrated with OC, BI and CA towards CS. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The aim of this study was to investigate the strategic alignment of business and information technology using Luftman model and ITIL best practice, and since the study of this alignment requires an in-depth study of an industry or an organization, one of the Iranian defensive organizations (in standardization and information technology field) has been selected as the case study. In the first stage, the existence of IT strategy was assessed. Secondly, the degree of alignment of IT strategy with business strategy was assessed. The results showed that the IT strategy in the studied organization is on average 66.26 percent, which indicates the relative and acceptable ability of the organization to define IT strategy. Then, after analyzing the strategic alignment of IT and organization, it was found that the alignment degree of these organizations is generally above average. The results showed the lowest average in the area of business infrastructure and the highest average in the business infrastructure area. It is recommended that similar organizations use the ITIL V4 to assess and align the organization's strategies with the IT strategies.

This research investigates the impact that New Zealand's business environment has on its international business visitor arrivals. Within a gravity modelling framework, data for twenty-four main visitor origin countries are used for empirical analysis for the period 2004–2013. The core contribution of our research is that our empirical results provide strong evidence that the interaction of internet diffusion, commercial bank presence and shipping services with international trade are statistically significant variables. New Zealand's business infrastructure also correlates with foreign business visitors. We conclude that more open trade policies, combined with an improved business environment, provide the added benefits of attracting more international business visitors offering a subsequent, positive impact on the New Zealand tourism industry. The basic mechanisms of infrastructure support and state support of entrepreneurship are considered. At the present stage, one of the accents in the development of the economy of the Russian Federation is on the development of small business, the development of small and medium-sized business acquires special importance in the conditions of imposing sanctions against Russia. Based on the analysis of infrastructure support mechanisms, a model of infrastructure provision for small and medium-sized enterprises at the regional level (on the example of the city of St. Petersburg) has been proposed.

The development of business infrastructure in order to provide information, services and technologies to the business environment is a key factor in increasing the level of business competitiveness, which determines the growth and economic development at local, regional and national level as well as employment. This paper aims at contributing to the understanding of the business infrastructure terminology, presenting the general concepts regarding the business infrastructures. Even if all around the world there are an increasing number of business incubators, industrial parks, science parks and clusters, there is a shortage of accumulated knowledge about all these business infrastructures. The originality of the paper is given by the idea of investigating the differences and similarities between the cluster infrastructures. We made an initial research on business infrastructures seen as a business model for increased performance of the small and medium enterprises. After the analysis of the business literature we observed that there is no systematic framework to understand these infrastructures and there is a lack of clarity regarding the terminology.

Business Process Management is one of the most important components of a process-driven organization that we perceive as a sum of processes that are more or less follow-up. By adjusting and managing these processes, we can greatly influence the organization's performance, efficiency, flexibility and competitiveness. Business Process Management is important to support the technical infrastructure of modern information systems and communication technologies. These systems are part of the overall enterprise information system. The following article focuses on information and communication technologies for the proper and efficient functioning of process management in agro sectoral companies. This article presents a summary of theoretical knowledge and practical recommendations for creating and maintaining a process management system in enterprises with the support of information and communication technologies. Contemporary business dictionaries lack a precise definition of the notion of business infrastructure. Also, there is an open question as to what are all the things that comprise a business infrastructure. In Serbia, there is not a legislative framework yet which recognizes and stimulates its development by categories and geographic position. Parallel to the lack of notional and legislative frameworks, we can also observe numerous activities in the field of creation of development policies and project investments in concrete facilities and sites. During the previous several mandates (since 2007), the Government of Serbia has stimulated the development of business infrastructure throughout the country using the budget funds. During the same period, significant donor funds have been spent precisely for the projects in the sphere of enhancement of business infrastructure in Serbia. In addition to the definitions provided for a set of important notions, the paper also presents a structural analysis based on the results of the survey / mapping of business infrastructure. It also shows the methodological procedure with a special view at the socalled brownfield and greenfield potentials. Today, along with national economic growth and job creation, the need for entrepreneurship is increasing throughout all societies. In particular, entrepreneurship has important influences on national economies including reviving company economies, creating jobs, etc. In addition, Entrepreneurship or new firm formation plays an increasingly important role in knowledge-based economic development. In this study, research was conducted as follows. First, various research hypotheses were established through analysis of previous studies. Second, based on the research hypotheses, a research model is presented. Third, data were collected through questionnaire survey. Fourth, the significance of the research hypotheses through the statistical analysis and the validity of the research model was analyzed based on the collected data. According to the results, the government policies for companies and entrepreneurship has impacted funding in financial areas and business environments; this offers a positive influence on social system and environment, such as basic education in business and economy fields and good social environments for business. Lastly, these social systems are shown to have a positive impact on entrepreneurship. In addition, the results suggest an effective entrepreneurship policy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
