In this study, we investigate the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon (g μ − 2) as reported by Fermilab (FNAL), along with the recent measurement of the W -boson mass by the CDF-II collaboration. Both findings show significant deviations from the predictions of the Standard Model (SM), hinting at the possibility of new physics. Our focus is on the Type III two-Higgs-doublet model (2HDM), wherein both Higgs doublets couple with all fermions, leading to the induction of flavour-changing neutral currents (FCNCs) at the tree level. Within this framework, we investigate a lepton-flavour-violating (LFV) scenario, aiming to explain both observed anomalies, while satisfying the up-to-date theoretical and experimental constraints. Recently, ATLAS and CMS experiments at the LHC put on light the relevant results in the measurement precision of the Higgs and BSM. In such a report, where the resonance direct search was made in the γZ channel, a mass adjustment distribution for the reconstructed Z boson and photon was established. Thus, simultaneously with the signal-from-background separation, the number of events has been perfectly described, and an excess signal approximately twice that expected by the Standard Model (SM) has been noticed, which is equivalent to a significance of 2.2 standard deviations. In this study, we examine how any possible new physics models can explain this excess, such as the CP-conserving Two-Higgs doublet model (2HDMs), the Inert doublet model (IDM), and the Higgs triplet model (HTM). While considering the available theoretical and most recent experimental constraints, the phenomenological implications of existing extensions beyond the SM are discussed, and prospects for precision studies of these processes are described. Motivated by results recently reported by the CMS Collaboration about an excess in the di-photon spectrum at about 96 GeV, especially when combined with another long-standing anomaly at the same value in the b b ¯ invariant mass spectrum in four-jet events collected at LEP, we show that a possible explanation to both phenomena can be found at 1 σ level in a generic 2-Higgs Doublet Model (2HDM) of Type-III in presence of a specific Yukawa texture, wherein Lepton Flavour Violating (LFV) (neutral) currents are induced at tree level. Bounds from Higgs data play a major role in limiting the parameter space of this scenario, yet we find solutions with m H = 125 GeV and m h = 96 GeV consistent with current theoretical and experimental bounds. While experimental data has not ruled out the possibility of additional Higgs bosons or gauge sectors, several alternative models have been proposed to go beyond the standard model and tackle the question of hierarchy. These models predict the existence of heavy vector-like partner quarks that exhibit vector-axial (V-A) coupling, typically on the TeV scale. In this work, we use simplified interactions to establish the fundamental components of the model and explore potential scenarios beyond the standard model. We focus on the unusual decays of the partner heavy quark, called T , into H ± b , which may compete with W ± b decays and create a new discovery channel at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). Using Monte Carlo (MC) simulations, we analyze the signal-to-noise ratio of p p → q g → T + b b ¯ j → H + b b ¯ j → W + b b ¯ j → 1 ℓ + 4 b + 1 j + E̸ T , and evaluate the sensitivity of the LHC to the masses of T and H ± in the two-Higgs-doublet model (2HDM) plus the vector-like quark (VLQ) model with a branching ratio of 100% for T → H ± b. We take into account current and predicted luminosities, as well as theoretical and experimental bounds. This paper presents a new strategy for identifying VLQs at the LHC, which goes beyond the usual search strategies that rely on decays of T into Standard Model bosons. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
