Prof. Jennifer Doudna is an eminent Biochemist who contributed immensely to the area of gene editing for which she was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2020. The study investigates and analyses Doudna's contributions and scientific productivity in peer-reviewed Scopus-indexed sources. She had 315 publications during 1987-2020 in Genetics and related fields. Of the total papers she had written and published, 94.29% are multi-authored. Doudna was the primary author in 7.07% of publications whereas she was claimed to be the secondary author in 92.93% of papers. The majority of her publications were in journals from the USA followed by UK and Germany. This study aims to analyze India's publications on organic chemistry and related fields at the micro, meso, and macro levels. The study attempts to map and visualize the publications in organic chemistry from 2016 to 2020 to identify the country co-authorship, author co-authorship, bibliographic coupling of authors, keyword co-occurrence, etc. Performance analysis techniques incorporating publication-related metrics, citation-related metrics, and citation and publication-related metrics (number of cited publications, citations per publication, h-index) were utilized to analyze the publications. Further, science mapping techniques are used to investigate citation analysis, bibliographic coupling, and co-authorship analysis. Moreover, enriched bibliometric techniques meant for computational evaluation like network analysis, including cluster analysis and visualization, were used in later phases using the software VOSviewer and Biblioshiny. VOSviewer, a bibliometric mapping tool, is extensively used in scientometric studies. For analysis of performance and visualization of research hotspots in Organic Chemistry, Biblioshiny web interface through R-studio is used, which is performing intensive data mining. A total of 1804 journals are encountered in the period taken for study which obeys a non-exponential growth with the highest number of papers (370) in the year 2017 and the least (344) in the year 2020 and as per the forecasting, the highest number of publications are expected in the year 2021 (349). Analysis of prolific authors reveals that A Kumar is the most productive author in the period with 47 publications and an h-index of 12 and KR Prabhu of IISc. Bangalore is the most impactful author with 387 citations and 27.64 CPP. Journal of Organic Chemistry is the most productive journal. Trending topics of research like azo dyes and metal-organic frameworks indicate the industrial and commercial importance of organic compounds. The 21 authors of this study, 19 of whom are non-native English speakers, reflect on the barriers to publishing academic journal articles in top international journals. Each author responded to the same set of questions pertaining to educational (PhD) opportunities for emerging scholars, financial conditions for researchers, and challenges in publishing their work. Limited English language skills, lack of research funding, and different research topics were identified as the most significant barriers to publish in the journals. Recruiting volunteers or using electronic translations for accepted articles for journals, reducing software and subscription to academic journals costs, expanding journal scope, and providing guidance and collaboration across borders are possible measures to reduce the negative impact of the barriers. The paper aims at examining the global trends in digital library research based on data extracted from the Scopus database at the global, national, institutional and individual levels. Using performance indicators like total citations, the number of publications, h-index, total link strength the study aims to evaluate the prolific authors, organizations, countries, chronological growth of literature, document forms, most prolific journals, application of Lotkas's law to evaluate the author productivity and analysis of keywords to know the trending topics of research in Digital Libraries. The study uses VOSviewer to prepare the network map of organizational and country co-authorship analysis with clustering technique and MS-Excel for graphical and statistical analysis. The core findings are like the most productive year is 2019 and the number of publications increased rapidly from the starting year of data collection 2016. The results reveal that the USA is the most productive country in terms of the number of publications and impact with the University of Illinois the first rank in the list of prolific institutions. This paper provides a quantitative assessment of research output in SAARC countries in the domain of Fishery Science. The primary data for this study have been sourced from Scopus database for the period 1994 to 2021. The findings of the study highlight that a total of 1190 publications of different forms are available with 8820 citations with an average citation per year per document of 1.732 and annual growth of 4 articles per year in the 28 years window. The growth rate of publication is found to be highly consistent. A total of 4784 authors contributed their research items in the period of study and the number of multi-authored or collaborated works are found to be maximum (4750) and only 34 publications are found to be single-authored with a degree of collaboration of 0.99. India is the leading nation among the other SAARC nations with 75.97% of the publication (904 publications) and 8164 citations to those publications. Khan, MA is found to be the author with the highest number of publications (35) but Harikrishnan, R is the most influential author (highest g-index = 27) with 1100 total citations in 27 publications. Scopus is the largest bibliographic (abstract and citation) database of peer-reviewed literature launched in 2004 by Elsevier. In this study the research output of Dibrugarh University, a pioneer institute of higher education in North-East India is analysed based on data collected from Scopus database for thirty years i.e., from 1982 to 2020. A total of 1642 documents with the affiliation ID of Dibrugarh University. This study endeavours to visualize year wise distribution of publication and find out Annual Growth Rate (AGR), the most prolific author on the basis of H-index and number of publications, the top collaborating nations and affiliations with Dibrugarh University, the forms of documents of publication. The findings of the study reveal that highest number of publications 211 are in the current year of 2020 (12.85%) and least number of publications are in the year 1993 which is 1(0.061%). There is increase in the number of publications from 1.035% to 12.85%. Bhuyan, PK is the most productive author with 85 publications and 18 h-index. Bora, U is ranking first on the basis of h-index (20). Dibrugarh University has highest collaboration with Indian authors (685 publications) with a frequency of collaboration of 0.95, which is followed by Germany with 6 publications (0.0083) and Korea with 5 publications ((0.0069). Unlike any university Dibrugarh University has maximum number of self-collaborations with 2731 publications, this is followed by collaboration with Tezpur University with 118 publications. This article aims to establish the h-index in different mathematical aspects and measure the correlation of the h-index with other metrics using the bibliographic data of selected journals in the Library and Information Science (LIS) domain. Using the concept of relation and function, the h-index is expressed. Data collected from authors in three major LIS journals, including h-index, g-index, m-index, total citations and total publications, are analysed using correlation and regression analyses. The findings indicate a high level of relationship between h-index and g-index scores and m-index at starting year of publication. Conversely, a lower level of relationship between the h-index, g-index, starting year of publication, the total number of publications and the number of citations. This is an original study and will be of interest to the researchers of LIS who wants to know this performance indicator in different aspects, the dependency/independency of the h-index with other metrics, and the impact/performance of the three journals over time in terms of h-index, m-index, total citations and the number of publications.
