Introduction: The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated universities' adaptation process toward online education, and it is necessary to know the students' attitudes toward this online education. Objective: To describe the evolution of the attitude toward online education among social science students at a public university in Peru in the academic year 2020, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: The study uses a quantitative approach, a descriptive level, a non-experimental design, and a longitudinal trend. The sample consisted of 1063 students at the beginning of the class period, 908 during the classes, and 1026 at the end of the class period. The questionnaire for data collection was the Attitude scale toward online education for university students during the COVID-19 pandemic. The data was collected using Google Forms. Results: As a result, the attitude towards online education was predominantly weak negative at the beginning (51.1 %) and during the classes (49.1 %), and weak positive (48.1 %) at the end of the class period. This article constitutes an empirical contribution regarding the correlation between economic informality and the COVID-19 pandemic in Peru. Based on interviews with merchants in the informal sector of the city of Huancayo, the pandemic-related impacts are analyzed in relation to income and livelihoods. It is argued that informal employment played an important role in the tragic indicators of public health in the country. The intrinsic flexibility of this type of activities, specifically for walking merchants, and the lack of access to systems and programs of social security were the main reasons that people worked in this sector to replace the income they lost due to confinement. Thus, the notion “replacement of income” in the economy appeared during the pandemic. The heterogeneity among those who carry out informal work, specifically in terms of their access to different resources, enabled such work and enabled some people to control their exposure to the virus. It is concluded that the focus on economic formalization of the last decades of financial liberalization are not considered advantages that informal activities offer in relation to formalization. In fact, informality continues to offer the best opportunity for immediate income and highly flexible options, in particular for adapting to crisis situations like the pandemic.

Una de las especies líricas de origen quechua se denomina Qachwa, que en castellano sería danza, música y canto de proveniencia ancestral y que perdura en Huancavelica hasta la actualidad. Asimismo, la identidad cultural del poblador huancavelicano es muy arraigada cuya preservación es de mayor importancia. Entonces, es atinado afirmar que, si esta especie se mantuvo incólume, es gracias a la inquebrantable identidad cultural tan fervientemente mantenida. En el presente trabajo de investigación se ha indagado sobre la relación que existe entre la variable Qachwa: Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial en la Identidad cultural en Huancavelica. El objetivo seguido fue demostrar de qué manera el Qachwa como patrimonio inmaterial se relaciona con la identidad cultural en Huancavelica. En cuanto metodológico, es de tipo básica, con método descriptivo y diseño correlacional, con un muestreo probabilístico. El resultado fue sorprendente, conforme a la aplicación de una encuesta de tipo Likert. El 58% de encuestados referenciaron que Qachwa es su patrimonio inmaterial, por ello, el 56% de ellos están de acuerdo en mantener su identidad cultural. En consecuencia, cuanto más se considera que la Qachwa constituye un preciado patrimonio inmaterial, la identidad cultural de los huancavelicanos se consolida para preservar y conservar su mencionada identidad.

El presente artículo tiene como objetivo mostrar la actitud sociocultural de los estudiantes universitarios sobre el confinamiento por el COVID-19 en la Universidad Nacional del Centro del Perú. Tiene un enfoque de investigación cuantitativa y la unidad de análisis son los estudiantes de pregrado de la UNCP, donde se aplicó 292 cuestionarios usando la escala de Likert. Concluyéndose que la actitud sociocultural de los estudiantes universitarios de la UNCP muestra una distribución equitativa entre actitud negativa e indiferente frente a los peligros de la pandemia y el confinamiento.

El Sistema de Focalización de Hogares (SISFOH) es un proceso de determinación de la clasificación socioeconómica (CSE) que certifica a las personas y grupos poblacionales vulnerables, sumidos en la pobreza o extrema pobreza, ante los programas sociales y subsidios del Estado. El objetivo de esta investigación es mostrar la percepción que tienen los actores locales sobre las implicancias de la focalización en el Valle del Mantaro. Es de tipo básico y de nivel descriptivo, tiene como unidades de análisis a pobladores no beneficiarios de ocho distritos que forman parte de las cuatro provincias del Valle del Mantaro, escenario en donde se aplicó 384 cuestionarios basados en una escala de Likert, a personas mayores de 15 años. El análisis de datos se realizó en el software SPSS 25.0, obteniéndose como resultado que los actores locales, en su mayoría, tienen una percepción negativa sobre el SISFOH, porque observan ciertas limitaciones de inclusión y exclusión en el registro y certificación.

In this research work we try to glimpse the power of man's intelligence as a problem solver in the conjuncture of the pandemic, caused by COVID-19. As a result, we present some positive aspects of this health crisis: reflection and reinvention of human activities; the benefits of virtual education; the strengthening of the family unit; the value of life and dignity; and, the care of nature. They are relevant topics of reflection that help us to see life from a positive mental attitude perspective and an invitation to reorganize our post-pandemic life project.

Juntos es un programa de transferencia condicionada que forma parte de la estrategia nacional Crecer; está orientado a mejorar la calidad de vida de los peruanos más necesitados e impulsar el desarrollo del capital humano, brindando mejores servicios de salud, educación y nutrición. Este estudio tuvo como objetivo conocer la percepción cultural de los pobladores no beneficiarios sobre el Programa Social Juntos en el Valle del Mantaro. La investigación fue de tipo básico y nivel descriptivo. Las unidades de análisis consideradas fueron los pobladores no beneficiarios, tanto de género masculino como femenino, de las cuatro provincias que conforman el Valle del Mantaro: Concepción, Chupaca, Huancayo y Jauja. Mediante un muestreo probabilístico y de corte transversal, se seleccionó una muestra de 382 personas mayores de 15 años, a quienes se les administró un cuestionario tipo escala de Likert, con una fiabilidad de 0.86 según el alfa de Cronbach. Para el procesamiento y análisis de datos, se utilizó la estadística descriptiva, obteniendo como resultado que las percepciones culturales de los pobladores no beneficiarios sobre el Programa Juntos son positivas; la mayoría de los encuestados perciben aspectos positivos en la ejecución de Juntos, pues este viene repercutiendo en el cambio de actitudes y costumbres de los beneficiarios referidas a las actividades de nutrición, salud y educación. This research work begins with the analysis of the pressing issue of pain and suffering generated by COVID-19, from a social perspective. Then he focuses in a special way, from a tripartite view: ethical, anthropological and philosophical, on the acquisition and administration of vaccines by the Peruvian government, known as the ‘Vacunagate’ case. At the heart of the matter are also selfish and corrupt attitudes that have resulted from the purchase of masks, medicines and oxygen.

COVID-19, unlike the other regions of the country, reached the land of Mercury with the exodus from the city to the countryside, of the children residing in the capital, carrying with them the Coronavirus that massively infected the population. In this article we address and analyze, from a tripartite perspective, the crisis of the phenomenal event, an opportunity to reflect on relevant issues –which go beyond the economic or biopolitical approach– for the human being: the meaning of life, the allin or sumaq kawsay (good living); the human condition of mortality; how to articulate social isolation with mental health and uncertainty; individualism versus Andean collectivism. Finally, we address corruption in health, education and even in humanitarian support. Knowing that these are fundamental pillars for the development of the family, the people and the nation.
