Abstract

Radical prostatectomy (RP) is one of the treatments of choice for patients presenting a localized prostate cancer. Nevertheless, this surgery sometimes has a negative impact in patients' health-related quality of life (HRQOL), leading to erectile dysfunction (ED) and/or stress urinary incontinence (SUI). This allows a decisive management of ED and SUI at the same time and a faster functional recovery without delaying the surgical treatment of either ED or SUI in 2-stage procedures.
