In behavior analysis, research on stimulus equivalence has been an area of high activity for more than 45 years. Murray Sidman's contribution was crucial in the development of this field, and, thus, it seems informative to highlight the experiments that were necessary in the development of the descriptive model of equivalence relations and behavior. The purpose of this paper is to provide an overview of the significant work that gave the historical context for Sidman and colleagues' conceptualization of stimulus equivalence as it was presented in 1982. This article emphasizes the 31 papers and chapters written by Sidman and colleagues that focus on research questions within stimulus control. The chapters and papers are organized according to their dimensions in behavior analysis and according to whether they can be categorized as instruction programs or experimental studies. The issues discussed regarding these papers and chapters include types of stimuli, matching, discriminations, and others. The protection of traditional high‐voltage capacitor banks relies on an unbalance relay which operates when an internal fuse is blown. However, the unbalance relay cannot indicate the cause of the fault. Thus, an operator wastes time and human resources investigating the fault issues. In this paper, a fault which occurred in a 230‐kV power system of Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand was observed by performing simulations using the Power Systems Computer Aided Design (PSCAD) program. The study system based on the double bus station and 72 MVAR capacitor banks was installed in the form of a back‐to‐back topology. Three scenarios were considered: normal condition, fault occurrence in one capacitor bank and fault occurrence in both capacitor banks. Current characteristics such as the current phase and difference in unbalance current were considered. In addition, discrete wavelet transform was applied to solve the ambiguity of current generated from the PSCAD. The authors' results suggest that identifying fault events using a coefficient of wavelet is more efficient than relying on the current amplitude. The behaviour analysis of farmers is very important to gradually improve the sustainable production capacity of the land and promote the economics reasonable increasement. How to effectively extract video features and identify human behaviour is a current research hotspot. In this paper, the authors propose a convolutional neural network model based on the deformable convolution including a residual module and an attention module. The model fuses and encodes video spatial features on the time axis and extracts semantic information. The authors combine the attention mechanism to extract local and global features in the video, which are used to calculate spatial features and micro‐motion features, respectively. Temporal attention mechanism fuses each micro‐motion feature of video to extract higher‐level semantic features of motion. Next, the authors describe their proposed model based on deep learning. First, the authors introduce a video frame sampling method based on the TRN algorithm. Second, they design a feature extraction and fusion model based on the ResNet model and the attention mechanism that extract local and global features in videos. Finally, the authors classify and identify the extracted video features through the classifier. The authors' approach shows comparable performance on publicly available datasets. Kenichi Fukui shared the 1981 Nobel Prize in Chemistry with Roald Hoffmann for "their theories, developed independently, concerning the course of chemical reactions." This is Paper 4 – Part I, of a three‐part trilogy within a 27‐paper series on the history of the development of the Woodward‐Hoffmann rules. The personality and professional style of Fukui is discussed as well as his style of teaching and his mottos and sayings. A brief chronological history of his academic and professional life is presented along with a listing of Fukui's great flexibility in behaviors and in science. When attempting to manage a large social system, it is necessary to have an overview of how the society functions and how economic theories describe this functioning. Recent discussions of higher orders of cybernetics are helping to define a multi‐disciplinary, multi‐level point of view. Knowledge from several disciplines is needed—systems science, management, engineering, cognitive studies and the various social science disciplines all have contributions to make. In this paper, we apply cybernetic ideas to further develop economic theories. The paper also uses economics to illustrate ideas in cybernetics. Similar thinking can be applied to other disciplines thus advancing the unification of science. The paper illustrates a transdisciplinary approach to knowledge development. The implications of the paper are improved understanding among scholars from several disciplines. The intent is to expand the range of conceptual possibilities available for problem‐solving. In an omnichannel era, businesses and marketers need insights into the dynamics of customer shopping behaviors, particularly the interplay between omnichannel, showrooming, and webrooming behaviors. This study investigates the evolution and trends of the research and channel shopping behaviors (RCSB) domain, spanning from 1998 to 2022, including the Covid‐19 era. The study performed a bibliometric review of 500 papers in the Scopus database. The performance analysis reveals an annual growth rate of nearly 16%, with average citations per document of 44, indicating sustained and growing research interest. Science mapping revealed five distinct cluster themes, including showrooming and webrooming in multi‐ and omni‐channel contexts; consumer behavior in online retail and shopping; customer satisfaction and trust in multi‐channel retailing; mobile commerce in a multi‐channel environment; and the interplay between online shopping, channel choice, and supply chain management. Furthermore, topics, such as showrooming, e‐commerce, retailing, and omnichannel retailing, remain popular before and during the pandemic, as seen in the thematic evolution. Our examination of the thematic maps revealed various topics that gained significance during the pandemic, such as multichannel, channel choice, customer experience, social commerce, purchase behavior, and covid‐19. Among these, the thematic maps indicate that customer experience, channel choice, multichannel, and covid‐19 are emerging and basic topics. These topics can steer research directions in the RCSB domain toward examining customer experiences using digital innovations, e‐commerce (including mobile and social commerce), and omnichannel strategy and management. Compared with the traditional connection (bonding and bolting), the hybrid connection has attracted increasing attention in various fields for its better mechanical properties. Some research demonstrates that providing preload, a necessary condition for bolted connection increases the strength of the conventional bolted joint. However, those research depends on the test procedure, and there are few studies on the mixed joint. In this paper, we studied the tensile behavior of CFRP（carbon‐fiber‐reinforced‐polymer)/titanium alloy multi‐bolt hybrid bonded/bolted (HBB) joints under preload with multiple parameters, such as the size of preload, the number of bolts, and the way of connection. A finite element model of joint strength prediction under preload based on the 3D Hashin failure criterion was established and combined with experimental verification. This work reveals that: The preload can effectively reduce the stress concentration around the bolt hole of CFRP laminate and enhance the strength of the mechanically fastened joints. As for the HBB joint, the simulation results of the scalar stiffness degradation (SDEG) of the adhesive layer indicate that the application of preload can also effectively slow down the failure process of the joint and has a significant impact on the strength of the joint. However, for the single‐bearing full‐thread bolted joint, the sizeable preloading force will lead to the extrusion deformation of the bolt thread and screw, and excessive preloading may even lead to the shear failure of the bolt. Introduction: The review described in this paper builds upon the Dementia Care Practice Recommendations (DCPR) published by the Alzheimer's Association in 2018 and addresses behavior change and the need for targeted outcome measures that evolve from person-centered frameworks and help evaluate interventions. Apathy and resistance to care (RTC) are two specific behavioral expressions of unmet need or distress exhibited by people living with dementia, which are upsetting to formal and family caregivers and compromise quality of life for people living with dementia. Methods: We conducted literature searches of major databases (PsycInfo, PubMed, EBSCO, CINAHL) for papers examining apathy andRTCconstructs in samples of people living with dementia. Reliability and validity coefficients were reviewed and reported, along with examination of whether each measure facilitates contextual understanding of behavior. Results: Three stand-alone measures of RTC and ten measures of apathy were identified and reviewed. TheRTCmeasures demonstrated good psychometric properties but do not include the perspective of the person livingwith dementia or contextual aspects of the behavior. The identified apathy measures demonstrated fair to good psychometric properties, and although there is greater consideration of context, none adequately include the perspective of the person living with dementia. Discussion: Although reliable and valid measures have been developed to measure apathy and RTC in people living with dementia, there is greater need for conceptually driven measurement of behavior context and for tools that elicit and include the perspective of the person living with dementia. To study the sustainable development of the green technology innovation system (GTIS), more and more people have begun to pay attention to the behavior evolution and strategic choice of participants. This paper develops a four‐participant evolutionary game model to study the interaction and behavior evolution of government, financial institutions, enterprises, and the public on green technology innovation (GTI), determines the payoff matrix of GTIS, derives replicator dynamic equations, calculates evolutionary stability strategies (ESSs) of participants, and identifies evolution paths of ESSs through numerical simulations. The findings show that in most cases, the government prefers to adopt "weak supervision" strategies to regulate the market, and the public prefers to adopt "supervision" strategies to supervise enterprises. Encouraging enterprises to implement GTI through subsidies and funding support is a vital means in the initial stage of sustainable development. Due to the random fluctuation of wind energy, the working conditions of the drivetrain have complex time‐varying characteristics. To deeply understand time‐varying dynamic behavior, a dynamic behavior method for normal and faulty drivetrain under multiple operating status is proposed. First, the working condition is divided into multiple working conditions by combining the control principle of the wind turbine with the K‐means clustering algorithm. Second, the torsional dynamics model of the drivetrain is established, solved, and verified. Finally, the dynamic behavior of normal and faulty drivetrain under multiple working conditions is analyzed. The dynamic behavior of drivetrain in normal and faulty states under different working conditions can be determined by the method proposed in this paper, which is affected by the system itself, external load, and the control strategy of the wind turbine. At the same time, the fault‐sensitive working condition range and the fault feature index under each working condition are determined. In this paper we analyze the stability of the explicit material point method (MPM). We focus on PIC, APIC, and CPIC transfers using quadratic and cubic splines in two and three dimensions. We perform a fully three‐dimensional Von Neumann stability analysis to study the behavior within the bulk of a material. This reveals the relationship between the sound speed, CFL number, and actual time step restriction and its dependence on discretization options. We note that boundaries are generally less stable than the interior, with stable time steps generally decreasing until the limit when particles become isolated. We then analyze the stability of a single particle to derive a novel time step restriction that stabilizes simulations at their boundaries. Finally, we show that for explicit MPM with APIC or CPIC transfers, there are pathological cases where growth is observed at arbitrarily small time steps sizes. While these cases do not necessarily pose a problem for practical usage, they do suggest that a guarantee of stability may be theoretically impossible and that necessary but not sufficient time step restrictions may be a necessary and practical compromise. Recently, alternate reality games (ARGs) have been applied in museum learning to encourage learners' active engagement through playful problem‐solving activities. However, most learners have insufficient prior knowledge and metacognitive skills to complete the learning tasks in such games. To support learning with ARGs, there is a need to provide proper feedback so that the learners are capable of self‐regulated learning and solving the problems encountered during the learning process. Considering the influences of individual differences, this research developed a chatbot as a learning partner in ARG‐based learning to support students' learning with adaptive feedback in a museum. A quasi‐experimental study was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness with and without the proposed approach. The results showed that the AI‐based chatbot approach could significantly improve learners' metacognition awareness, emotional engagement and behavioural engagement. Token economies are among the oldest and most successful teaching programs in applied behavior analysis. Despite a rich history of basic and applied research on token systems, there remains a research‐to‐practice gap. Our aim in this paper is to bridge this gap between research and application, by providing evidence‐based recommendations and practical guidelines for application of token reinforcement methods. The recommendations in Part 1 are for building a token economy from the ground up, in learners without a history of token reinforcement, whereas those in Part 2 are concerned with existing token economies without regard to how they were established. Although token economies have proven generally effective across a range of settings and populations, they could be even more effective when based on the latest research and theory. Thus, apart from specific recommendations, we hope to show the benefits of an integrated evidence‐based approach to the application of token reinforcement principles in educational and clinical settings. This paper is concerned with the nonlinear stability of planar Couette flow for the three‐dimensional NS‐NS equations, which are used to model the motion of two‐phase flow. Our result shows that the planar Couette flow is asymptotically stable for the initial perturbations sufficiently small in some Sobolev space if the background velocity and the Reynolds number are sufficiently small. Mali national policy recommends that women take iron and folic acid supplements (IFA) from the time of the first antenatal care (ANC) visit, throughout pregnancy and during the first 3 months after delivery. In 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) updated their ANC guidelines to recommend the United Nations International Multiple Micronutrient Antenatal Preparation (UNIMMAP) formulation of multiple micronutrient supplements (MMS) in the context of rigorous research, including implementation research. In Bamako, Mali, a codesign process was used to tailor antenatal care MMS packaging and counselling materials aimed at optimizing delivery and uptake of and adherence to MMS. This paper presents the codesign process along with the results of a post‐intervention qualitative assessment to evaluate the behaviour change intervention. At the conclusion of the intervention, we conducted semistructured qualitative interviews with 24 women who had received the intervention and six pharmacy managers from the six health centres participating in the study. We conducted two focus groups with midwives who had delivered the intervention and two group discussions with family members of women who had received the intervention. Respondent perspectives reveal an easy experience transitioning from previously used IFA. Women and providers concur that the intervention counselling materials and visual aids were instrumental in influencing the perceived benefit and uptake of MMS. Family members play an influential role in pregnant women's decision‐making regarding MMS uptake. MMS and the associated implementation strategies developed through the codesign process were found to be a highly acceptable intervention. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The development of artificial intelligence and information communication technology has significantly propelled advancements in autonomous driving. The advent of autonomous driving has a profound impact on societal development and transportation methods. However, as intelligent systems, autonomous driving systems (ADSs) often make wrong judgements in specific scenarios, resulting in accidents. There is an urgent need for comprehensive testing and validation of ADSs. Metamorphic testing (MT) techniques have demonstrated effectiveness in testing ADSs. Nevertheless, existing testing methods primarily encompass relatively simple metamorphic relations (MRs) that only verify ADSs from a single perspective. To ensure the safety of ADSs, it is essential to consider the various elements of driving scenarios during the testing process. Therefore, this paper proposes MetaSem, a novel metamorphic testing method based on semantic information of autonomous driving scenes. Based on semantic information of the autonomous driving scenes and traffic regulations, we design 11 MRs targeting different scenario elements. Three transformation modules are developed to execute addition, deletion and replacement operations on various scene elements within the images. Finally, corresponding evaluation metrics are defined based on MRs. MetaSem automatically discovers inconsistent behaviours according to the evaluation metrics. Our empirical study on three advanced and popular autonomous driving models demonstrates that MetaSem not only efficiently generates visually natural and realistic scene images but also detects 11,787 inconsistent behaviours on three driving models. Introduction Method Results Discussion and Conclusions Police‐issued barring notices are currently used in Western Australia in response to alcohol‐related disorderly and anti‐social behaviour. This paper examines the type, severity and trajectory of the offending behaviours associated with served barring notices.WA Police Force de‐identified the data for 3815 individuals who had received one or more police‐imposed barring notice/s between 2011 and 2020. The offence category associated with each barring notice was examined to explore the overall breakdown and whether/how offending categories change for recipients of subsequent barring notices.For single and multiple barring notice recipients, the most common offence categories were fighting/physical violence and public order offences. Within a subset of the data, non‐anti‐social offences also spiked. Aggressive behaviours predominate for recipients in metropolitan areas, compared with public order offences in regional locations.For recipients of multiple barring notices, behaviours do not become more serious but neither do they moderate to any notable extent. The low number of repeat barring notices (5%) may suggest an overall beneficial effect on recipient behaviours but more analysis is needed to examine the potential confounding effects of factors, such as fly‐in/fly‐out workers, policing and locational differences. ABSTRACT Objective Methods Results Discussion Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is an evidence‐based treatment for disorders characterized by recurrent binge eating. Yet, access to specialized treatment like DBT remains limited. To increase the accessibility of DBT, we developed a DBT skills training app (Resilience: eDBT) for the management of eating disorder (ED) symptoms. This paper delineates the developmental process of Resilience and tests its usability.Descriptive information on the development and features of Resilience is provided, including its framework, content structure and delivery formats, functionality, data storage procedure, and privacy protocols. Usability was assessed via a mixed methods approach in 10 symptomatic individuals. Qualitative data were organized based on an existing framework, which included six themes: usability, visual design, user engagement, content, therapeutic persuasiveness, and therapeutic alliance.Resilience demonstrated good usability via a Systems Usability Scale score of 85.5, which exceeded the recommended cutoff of 68. Positive aspects of the app, according to interview data, were the ease of use and the visual design, while the addition of peer support was suggested as an opportunity for improvement.A novel DBT‐based app may serve as an acceptable, low‐intensity option or adjunct to traditional treatment for targeting ED symptoms that emerge in daily life. Aim: To examine the effects of the Pathways and Resources for Engagement and Participation (PREP) intervention during the COVID‐19 pandemic on (1) activity performance and satisfaction, and (2) motor, cognitive, and affective body functions. Method: An interrupted time‐series design with multiple baselines across 21 young people (13 females, eight males) aged 16 to 25 years (median = 21 years 5 months) with physical disabilities was employed. The young people engaged in an 8‐week self‐chosen leisure activity (e.g. football, piano, photography) at their home or community. The Canadian Occupational Performance Measure (COPM) assessed activity performance and satisfaction weekly. Mental health problems, including affective and cognitive outcomes, were assessed weekly using the Behavior Assessment System for Children, Third Edition. Motor functions (e.g. trunk control, reaching, strength) were assessed biweekly. Linear mixed‐effects models were used. Results: The intervention had large effects on activity performance (0.78) and satisfaction (0.88) with clinically significant change in COPM scores (2.6 [95% confidence interval {CI}: 2.0–3.2] and 3.2 points [95% CI: 2.4–3.9] respectively). Young people without mental health problems at baseline benefited more from the intervention (p = 0.028). Improvements in at least one domain of body function occurred in 10 young people especially for motor outcomes. Interpretation: Results demonstrate the effectiveness of PREP during adverse times and suggest benefits going beyond participation, involving outcomes at the body‐function level. What this paper adds: Environmental‐based interventions can improve participation even during adverse times such as the COVID‐19 pandemic.Significant improvement with large effect sizes occurred in both activity performance and satisfaction.Intervention was effective for all; those without mental health problems benefited more.Improvements in body‐function outcomes were partially observed, especially in motor‐related outcomes.Body functions may improve through participation even if not targeted by the intervention. Polyolefin copolymers have been an important commercial product since their invention. Hence, it is crucial to study their co‐ and terpolymers due to their extensive use. In this paper, in situ synthesis of ethylene‐propylene (EP) copolymer, its terpolymer with styrene, and composites with nickel‐chromium (NiCr) layered double hydroxide (LDH) has been reported along with their thermal properties. Styrene had a significant impact on the activity, increasing the yield by 195% and 235% with an addition of 0.5 and 1.0 mL styrene, respectively, compared to neat EP. The crystallinity, melting temperature, and thermal stability decreased due to styrene; nevertheless, it performed better compared to a similar work of terpolymer where α‐olefin was the third monomer. The incorporation of NiCr LDH as a drop‐in filler during in situ polymerization affected adversely the thermal stability of the terpolymer. Model‐based system autonomy is a complex integration of planning from high‐level goals to low‐level command sequences whose execution controls a system. The need for autonomy has accelerated in recent years to enable complex missions in automotive, space, and defense. During system development, understanding the relationship between system autonomy and the physical environment (including hardware) is critical to supporting trade studies, developing concepts of operations, characterizing risk, and performing testing. This paper describes the initial results of developing Autonomica, an ontology‐based methodology and a framework for autonomous behavior modeling and analysis. This methodology formalizes an architectural pattern for specifying model‐based autonomy as a vocabulary with description logic semantics and provides authoring and analysis capabilities (reasoning, querying, and simulation) for the architectures. Functional analyses and treatments of self‐injurious behavior and aggression have shown that such behavior is often operant. In this paper, we will revisit evidence that a subset of self‐injurious and aggressive biting may be controlled primarily by antecedent events and may have phylogenetic origins. We propose that there is a research gap of more than four decades, if one considers the wealth of basic research on biting that occurred prior to 1977. To our knowledge, that body of basic research was never fully translated or directly applied within behavior analysis. It is known that organisms (including humans) sometimes bite in the presence of aversive events (broadly defined as the presentation of aversive stimuli or the removal of reinforcers). Composite solid propellant is a kind of viscoelastic composite with high filling ratio and multi‐scale composition characteristics, and its macroscopic mechanical properties strongly depend on the microstructure of the propellant materia. However, with the increasing complexity of composition, structure and properties of composite solid propellants, the traditional research paradigm based on experimental observation, theoretical modeling and numerical simulation has encountered new scientific challenges and technical bottlenecks in the mechanical behavior analysis, charge design and manufacturing of composite solid propellants. Among them, the problems such as insufficient experimental observation, lack of theoretical model, limited numerical analysis and difficult verification of results restrict the development of composite solid propellants in future‐oriented engineering applications to a certain extent. The data‐driven computational mechanics method can directly establish complex relationships between variables from high‐dimensional and high‐throughput data, which can capture trends that are difficult to be found by traditional mechanics research methods, and has inherent advantages in the analysis, prediction and optimization of complex systems. Summary: This paper elicits and quantifies narratives from open‐ended surveys sent daily to US stockholders during the first wave of the COVID‐19 pandemic. Using textual analysis, we extract 13 narratives and measure their prevalence over time. A validation analysis confirms the behavioral and economic relevance of the retrieved narratives. Moreover, we find that the narratives contain predictive information for future excess stock and bond returns, and this predictability remains when controlling for contemporaneous information stemming from news and social media. The analysis of international and collaborative publication trends in prominent behavior‐analytic journals has been a topic of interest for behavioral researchers. This paper focuses on publication trends from 1997 through 2020 in three prominent journals: Journal of the Experimental Analysis of Behavior (JEAB), Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis (JABA), and Perspectives on Behavior Science (PBS). The variable of interest was the percentage of articles published per geographical category—Australasia/East Asia, Europe, Latin America, Middle East, North America, and Africa. The results showed that 79, 96, and 87% of the published articles in JEAB, JABA, and PBS, respectively, were conducted by researchers with a North American affiliation. Furthermore, 12, 4, and 4% of the articles in JEAB, JABA, and PBS, respectively, were coauthored by at least two researchers from different geographical categories. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Social validity refers to the extent to which applied behavior analytic (ABA) treatment goals, methods, and/or outcomes are acceptable and meaningful to stakeholders. The aim of this conceptual paper is to suggest how social validity may be promoted during behavioral consultation in school systems and how the assessment of various aspects of social validity contributes to this throughout the consultation process. Literature pertaining to the concept of social validity, rapport‐building, collaboration with stakeholders in behavioral school consultation, and the assessment of social validity are reviewed and synthesized. Social validity may be promoted in several domains: communication with consultees, collaborative selection of treatment methods and student objectives, consultee training, and measurement of outcomes meaningful to stakeholders. Social validity assessment can occur in all of these domains and is ideally a continuous process that informs all phases of consultation. There is a particular need for direct measurement of the social significance of behavioral consultation services. Social validity is integral to all aspects of the behavioral school consultation process, and it may be facilitated by incorporating valid social validity assessments into every stage of the consultation process. Electronic based systems (EBS) tend to become smaller in size while at the same time their functionality, complexity, and operating frequencies increase. Therefore, accurate and broadband characterization of the electric behavior of the components of such EBS is becoming more and more important for first‐time right designs, especially for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and interference (EMI) issues. Although many of the manufacturers provide the electric characterization of their components up to, for example, 8.5 GHz, there is still a lack of information about the parasitic electromagnetic coupling of their components to others. To characterize this behavior in terms of measurement is demanding due to the small size and the high frequencies, hence the characterization by means of numerical simulations has become popular in the last years. Due to the fact that the components can be quite complex and their structure hard to model and simulate, like it is the case for the here investigated multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCC), simplified models of the geometry have been typically used. In general, the electromagnetic behavior of multiple components close to each other is of interest, hence numerical efficient models must be deployed to analyze interfering effects toward each other. Pollution and environmental depletion are often caused by human behaviours, where if behaviours were modified, environmental pressure could be substantially reduced. Many public programmes aim to influence people to change their unsustainable behaviours but few undertake ex post evaluations of behavioural change programmes. This paper undertakes an evaluation of a 5‐year programme to understand whether community engagement activities lead to more sustainable practices. Using a treatment and control experiment, the research investigates whether programme participants are representative of the wider population, whether participation leads to sustainable practices, whether pro‐environmental behaviours are sustained over time, and the relative effectiveness of different types of events on individual behaviours. Overall, results suggest that water engagement event participants are more likely to adopt sustainable behaviours, however attendees only represent a small cohort of the wider population, which possibly hinders a wider adoption of good practices. With respect to individual behaviours, different outcomes were detected for different behaviours, which suggests that not all behaviours were equally amenable to change. When comparing the impact of different events, events that are focused on building community ties were more successful than events with simple provision of information. Finally, new pro‐environmental behaviours tend to be abandoned after a period of time, therefore re‐engagement at regular time intervals is advised. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In aquaculture, fish behaviour monitoring and analysis can provide the information required to guide daily feeding, schedule making and disease diagnosis. Technology such as machine vision, bio‐loggers and acoustic systems is essential to analyse fish behaviour. This paper focuses on tools and algorithms for fish behaviour quantification analysis. The goal is to present their basic concepts and principles, including the quantification analysis procedure and its potential application scenarios. This review shows that the most common behaviour quantification indexes can be categorised into three classes: swimming indexes, physical indexes and context indexes. Typically, swimming indexes are of the most interest to researchers. However, achieving comprehensiveness of the information and quantisation precision remain challenging in fish behaviour analysis. In brief, this paper aims to help researchers and practitioners better understand the current state‐of‐the‐art behavioural quantification analysis, which provides strong support for the implementation of intelligent breeding. The big data stored in massive open online course (MOOC) platforms have become a posed challenge in the Learning Analytics field to analyze the learning behavior of learners, and predict their respective performance, related especially to video lecture data, since most learners view the same online lecture videos. This helps to conduct a comprehensive analysis of such behaviors and explore various learning patterns in MOOC video interactions. This paper aims at presenting a visual analysis, which enables course instructors and education experts to analyze clickstream data that were generated by learner interaction with course videos. It also aims at predicting learner performance, which is a vital decision‐making problem, by addressing their issues and improving the educational process. This paper uses a long short‐term memory network (LSTM) on implicit features extracted from video‐clickstreams data to predict learners' performance and enable instructors to make measures for timely intervention. Results show that the accuracy rate of the proposed model is 89%–95% throughout course weeks. The proposed LSTM model outperforms baseline Deep learning (GRU) and simple recurrent neural network by accuracy of 90.30% in the "Mining of Massive Datasets" course, and the "Automata Theory" accuracy is 89%. Although the long‐term dynamics of the prey‐predator model has analyzed in the passing decades, the threshold of extinction and persistence has not been well unified, especially the higher order perturbation affects the phytoplankton‐zooplankton dynamics. Here, we formulate a stochastic phytoplankton‐zooplankton model with nonlinear perturbation. A uniform expression of threshold value of extinction and ergodicity for this model is derived. In addition, the sufficient conditions of strong and weak persistence in the mean of phytoplankton and zooplankton are given. Our results indicate that white noise influences the dynamics of both phytoplankton and zooplankton species, which further affects the stability of phytoplankton‐zooplankton models. Stimulus equivalence is a central paradigm in the analysis of symbolic behavior, language, and cognition. It describes emergent relations between stimuli that were not explicitly trained and cannot be explained by primary stimulus generalization. In recent years, researchers have developed computational models to simulate the learning of equivalence relations. These models have been used to address primary theoretical and methodological issues in this field, such as exploring the underlying mechanisms that explain emergent equivalence relations and analyzing the effects of training and testing protocols on equivalence outcomes. Nonetheless, although these models build upon general learning principles, their operation is usually obscure for nonmodelers, and in the field of stimulus equivalence computational models have been developed with a variety of approaches, architectures, and algorithms that make it difficult to understand the scope and contributions of these tools. In this paper, we present the state of the art in computational modeling of stimulus equivalence. We seek to provide concise and accessible descriptions of the models' functioning and operation, highlight their main theoretical and methodological contributions, identify the existing software available for researchers to run experiments, and suggest future directions in the emergent field of computational modeling of stimulus equivalence. In the present paper, a three‐dimensional numerical model has been built using ANSYS code to analyze the static and fatigue behavior of a welded design based on four rectangular profiles under damped loads for automotive application. The fatigue of the proposed design is generally influenced by a number of factors. The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of the load level, the stress ratio, the mean stress theory, the geometry size, the weld bead height, the temperature of the weld bead on the durability (P1), and the maximum of von Mises stress (P2) at the critical areas in the welded structure. As well as the length and the stiffness of the spring have been furtherly investigated. For this purpose, the application of the Taguchi method with computational simulation was performed for the target to determine the optimum operating parameters conditions. The results indicated that the optimum levels yielding a higher performance for P1 and P2 were (L1, L2, L2, L3, L1, L1, L3, and L3) and (L2, L3, L3, L3, L3, L3, L3, and L2), respectively. Thus, it revealed that the weld temperature was the predominant parameter influencing P1 and the mean stress theory factor was the most significant parameter influencing P2. This study led to defining a regression equation relating the output parameters with the selected factors. Consequently, the percentage error between regression equation calculations and computational outputs of fatigue life and maximum von Mises stress corresponding to the most optimal combinations obtained from Taguchi calculations was 0.92% and 0.63%, respectively. In fact, several parameters have been employed in this durability assessment to characterize the behavior of welded rectangular profiles prototype to predict the overall behavior of the suspension system of the automotive. Many philosophers, psychologists, and lay folk associate volition with autonomy (actions are independent of an individual's environment) and free will (individuals originate their actions). Most behaviorists hold these views to be incompatible with behavior analyses. The present paper describes volition as interpreted by B. F. Skinner, Howard Rachlin, and Allen Neuringer. Skinner relates volition to positively reinforced operant behavior. That works because, like operants, voluntary actions are free, in the sense of not physically constrained; they affect their environments, often resulting in positive outcomes, and are sometimes unpredictable. Rachlin, while incorporating Skinnerian methods, interprets volition within his own Teleological Behaviorism framework. For Rachlin, reinforcement of an individual response is often incompatible with voluntary control, thereby disagreeing with Skinner. Responses are voluntary only when they are members of extended response patterns. Neuringer also begins with Skinner's operants, but argues that, under the control of reinforcing consequences, both voluntary actions and operant responses are sometimes predictable and other times "truly" unpredictable. Neuringer does not assume that environments determine voluntary actions, thereby disagreeing with Skinner and Rachlin. This tribute to Howard Rachlin speculates about scholarly work that might have been. It explores how behavioral data might bear on philosophical issues, with examples that might be called case studies in experimental philosophy. In 1964, an issue of the Proceedings of the American Philosophical Society served a similar function. It was entitled "Psychology: A Behavioral Interpretation"; the papers included "Will," "Experience," "Appetite," "Humors," "Anxiety," and "Man." This presentation imagines what a contemporary project devoted to philosophical and behavior analytic perspectives on the topics of causation, freedom and volition, good and evil, time, words, and mind might have looked like. Along the way it notes how the project would have benefitted from Howard Rachlin's seminal contributions to both behavior analysis and philosophy. A variety of cognitive, behavioural, and emotional impairments have been reported in the literature that are associated with the resection of the temporal cortex. Klüver–Bucy syndrome is one infrequently reported disorder in the paediatric population. This paper describes the neuropsychological findings of a female paediatric patient at 7 and 10 years of age with a diagnosis of partial Klüver–Bucy syndrome (pKBS) following total resection of the amygdala and right hippocampus to resect a glioma. The patient presented emotional problems, aggressiveness, hypermetamorphosis, social indifference, and behavioural dysexecutive syndrome, which was found at both 7 and 10 years, but with a decrease in the severity of alterations in attention, impulsivity, hyperactivity, and aggressive behaviour in a second evaluation after she had a neuropsychological intervention. The use of animations and images in technology‐based assessments (TBAs) represents a significant change in assessment design. To ensure that appropriate inferences can be drawn from assessments that use multimedia stimuli, their impact on test‐taker performance and behaviour must be investigated. To achieve this, an experiment was conducted with 251 Irish post‐primary students using an animated and text‐image version of the same TBA of scientific literacy. Eye movement (n = 33) and interview data (n = 12) were also collected as a measure of test‐taker attentional behaviour. Overall, there was no significant difference in test‐taker performance when identical items used animated or text‐image stimuli. However, items with dynamic stimuli often had higher discrimination indices indicating that these items were better at distinguishing between those with differing levels of knowledge. Eye movement data also revealed that dynamic item stimuli encouraged longer average fixation durations on the response area of an item. These findings indicate that multimedia stimuli may potentially affect how test‐takers interact with online assessments. This has implications for what claims can be made about a learner's performance on an assessment. Recommendations for policy, practice and future research are considered. This paper presents two studies in which a peer‐assisted learning condition was compared to an individual learning condition. The first study used the paired‐associates learning task and the second study used an incrementally more complex task—the remote associate test. Participants in the peer‐assisted learning condition worked in groups of four. They had to solve a given problem individually and give a first answer before being able to request to see their peers' solutions; then, a second answer was issued. After six sessions of peer‐assisted practice, a final individual test was administered. Peer interaction was found to benefit learning in both studies but the benefit transferred to the final test only in the second study. Fine‐grained behavioral analyses and computational modeling suggested that the benefits of peer interaction were (partially) offset by its costs, particularly increased cognitive load and error exposure. Overall, the superiority of peer‐assisted learning over individual learning was more pronounced in the more complex task and for the more difficult problems in that task. Background: Treatment fidelity refers to the degree to which an intervention is implemented as intended. Promoting treatment fidelity is important to achieve a valid comparison in intervention research. However, it is often underreported: few studies detail the use and development of fidelity measures. This study aims to promote the treatment fidelity of a modified version of the Derbyshire Language Scheme (M‐DLS), a manualised intervention for children with language difficulties, by exploring participants' opinions on training and intervention delivery. Results inform development of a checklist and scoring system to monitor and promote treatment fidelity in a comparison trial. Method: Ten student speech and language therapists (SLTs) and two research assistants (RAs) participated in the study. All received training on the M‐DLS, and 10 were video‐recorded completing role‐plays of an M‐DLS session in small groups. Feedback was gathered after training and role‐plays in focus groups and interviews. Feedback was interpreted using the constructs of the Theoretical Domains Framework (TDF). A treatment fidelity checklist was then developed using the feedback. The first author and two RAs rated role‐play videos using the checklist to trial it to inform amendments and to promote interrater reliability. Interrater agreement was calculated using Spearman's test of correlation. Results: Participants discussed the importance of having clear materials and time to practise sessions. They suggested amendments to the materials and training to promote treatment fidelity. The checklist and scoring system accounted for participants' suggestions, with amendments detailed in a log. Spearman's correlation results suggested agreement between the raters was strong. Conclusions: Results emphasise the importance of training quality, practice and reflective opportunities and clear materials to promote treatment fidelity. The construction of the checklist and scoring system was described in detail, informing the development of future checklists. After further trialling, the checklist can be used to ensure the M‐DLS is delivered with high treatment fidelity in the comparison trial. What this paper adds: What is already known on this subject: Treatment fidelity is an essential component of intervention effectiveness and efficacy studies, ensuring the intervention is delivered as intended. It is also an essential component of evidence-based clinical practice. However, few research studies report the treatment fidelity process or publish the checklists used, depriving clinicians of useful information for implementation. What this study adds: This study describes in detail the iterative process of treatment fidelity checklist development, engaging those implementing the intervention in development. This ensured clarity and interrater reliability of the checklist. I hasten to add here that I think Shimp (1984) made an important point when he noted that behavior analysts often translate cognitive terms "into a linguistic form suitable for behavior analysis" (p. 416) (e.g., replacing "memory" with "remembering"). Based upon these analyses, Davison and Baum suggest that rather than strengthening behavior upon which they are contingent, reinforcers (PIE) I guide i (induce) behavior (e.g., Baum, 2012; Davison & Baum, 2006). The intersection of the lives of 2 essential individuals in science, behavior analyst Murray Sidman (1923‐2019), and Henry G. Molaison also known as Patient H.M. (1926‐2008), warrants examination as it highlights the role of behavior analysis and other disciplines in the emergence of modern neuroscience and a collaborative approach to science. This paper describes the historical context and content of two publications by Sidman in which Molaison served as a research participant. The goal of the present paper is to emphasize this little‐known facet of Sidman's rich career and to highlight the pioneering role of behavior analysis, and particularly the work of Murray Sidman, in the emergence of collaborative modern neuroscience. Quantitative analyses on the coefficient of friction of common coating waxes are necessary and essential for designing systems for coating, conveying, packaging operations, transporting, and storing of papers and paperboards, while analyses on wear behavior can be helpful for predicting performance durability of the coating surface. In this study, we investigated the friction and wear behaviors of six waxes including four commercial waxes and two soybean oil‐based wax developed in our lab for bulk corrugated coating. The effect of normal load, sliding velocity, and environmental temperature was evaluated. The friction coefficient of different waxes varies with sliding conditions. Higher normal load, sliding velocity, and environmental temperature resulted in significantly greater wear loss. Crystalline morphology and crystallinity of waxes were affected by the environmental temperature, and they correlate to the variations in friction coefficient and wear loss of these materials. The communities of behavior analysts and animal trainers remain relatively disconnected despite potentially beneficial links between behavioral principles and the practices of animal training. Describing existing links between research by behavior analysts and practices used by animal trainers may foster connections. In this paper, we describe an approach used by many clicker trainers, referred to as loopy training. Loopy training is a teaching process built around the concept of movement cycles. Interactions between the animal learner and the handler are refined into predictable, cyclical patterns that can be expanded into complex sequences. These sequences include cues, target responses, conditioned reinforcers, and consummatory responses. We link the foundations of loopy training to existing work in the experimental analysis of behavior, compare loopy training to other shaping approaches, and describe areas for future research. We conclude with a series of recommendations for further developing connections between behavior analysts and animal trainers, using loopy training as the foundation for our suggestions.
