This paper describes original experimental results obtained in a study of the rheological behavior of amorphous bulk Vitralloy 1 (Zr41Ti14Cu12.5Ni10Be22.5), which shows linear viscous (Newtonian) flow over a certain range of deformation rates. These results were compared against results obtained for other superplastic alloys, and against results obtained for metal melts during the crystallization process. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
