In this paper, an economical method for replacing each cluster is additionally designed. It uses this method as an associate's Central Management Server (CMS), and its main goal is to improve performance by reducing the everchanging CH topology. The CH method is used in the 2-head rule network to avoid any kind of offensive model and also to avoid latency and energy. This will make the node even faster. The Network Simulator 2 (NS 2) is used to simulate the predictive rule and compare it with the Weight-based Cluster (WBC), Primary and Secondary Weight-based Cluster (PSWBC). The designed cluster methodology implemented in the test system ensures secure transmission and further reduces routing, delay, and power overhead, improving topology efficiency. The paper presents the results of a quasi-experimental study which was conducted with a view to determining the effect of an intervention in the form of the application of teacher-designed Internet-based resources (i.e., websites, podcasts, movie clips) that students could use autonomously on the development of pronunciation of the English regular past tense -ed ending. The sample consisted of 45 Polish secondary school learners. Participants were divided into three groups, two treatment and one control. The intervention spanned two weeks. The lessons in treatment group 1 were conducted by means of online resources and those in treatment group 2 were carried out in a traditional way (i.e., without autonomous recourse to computer-assisted pronunciation teaching). The students in the control group did not receive any instruction related to the pronunciation feature in question over that time. The data were gathered by means of perception and production tests administered before (pretest) and after (immediate and delayed posttests) the treatment, and subjected to quantitative analysis. The results, supported by the participants' evaluation of the two types of pedagogic intervention, indicate that although the effects of the experimental treatments proved to be comparable, the use of online resources produced more durable gains and was more favorably evaluated by learners. This provides a rationale for using computer technology as a tool for enhancing traditional teaching of English pronunciation in secondary school. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The generation of characteristic values for the stability of the control system is the main focus of this paper. For the generation of these values, a system for evaluating the state of the parameters of the control system must be incorporated, in the context of the work of certain devices in the control system based on the management of the computer system. The focus of the analysis of system parameters, simulation and parameter change is based on the use of the Matlab application. The purpose of this paper is to incorporate applications that can be included in the management process, obtaining results, and adequately reflecting the obtained values, graphs and finding the corresponding concrete structure to see the flow of a process as closely as possible. The goal of the paper is the computer system management through the application, specifically the use of Matlab. The paper will also deal with the collection and systematization of data in a database- application, which is connected to applications such as Matlab, to save and to create connections with other platforms in the framework of production and service; such is the internet platform and the deployment of a web browser that gives a more generalized direction in terms of use, service and management of resources at different distances - locations that have direct access through web technologies or other computer network resources. Through the Matlab application, the state of the system can be analyzed by changing the program parameters, which creates a certain view of the state, looking at the view of the graphs-curves, of the device until its activation. Therefore, all this includes the way of integrated management of some systems and applications to create a more optimized effectiveness of the technological process [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

CLOUD computing ,DATA security ,COMPUTER network resources ,INFORMATION technology ,ACCESS control - Abstract
Recently, an innovative trend like cloud computing has progressed quickly in InformationTechnology. For a background of distributed networks, the extensive sprawl of internet resources on the Web and the increasing number of service providers helped cloud computing technologies grow into a substantial scaled Information Technology service model. The cloud computing environment extracts the execution details of services and systems from end-users and developers. Additionally, through the system's virtualization accomplished using resource pooling, cloud computing resources become more accessible. The attempt to design and develop a solution that assures reliable and protected authentication and authorization service in such cloud environments is described in this paper. With the help of multi-agents, we attempt to represent Open-Identity (ID) design to find a solution that would offer trustworthy and secured authentication and authorization services to software services based on the cloud. This research aims to determine how authentication and authorization services were provided in an agreeable and preventive manner. Based on attack-oriented threat model security, the evaluation works. By considering security for both authentication and authorization systems, possible security threats are analyzed by the proposed security systems. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

LibGuides is a popular web platform to thematically curate and promote information sources. While guides bridge curricular and research objectives to library collections, there is little discussion about Indigenizing content and design as a decolonization strategy. The study identified and evaluated 357 guides for Indigenous Studies (IS) created by members of the Association of Research Libraries (ARL). Data compiled from Springshare’s LibGuides Community and ARL member webpages was analyzed for Indigenous representation, content, and user experience (UX) against a rubric of Indigenous critical pedagogical practices and protocols. The findings reveal variety in vocabulary terms to describe Indigenous peoples and subjects, organization, and topics and foci, as well as a lack of interdisciplinarity. The discussion highlights opportunities for libraries to reimagine guides as Indigenized and decolonized information sources that validate Indigenous ways of knowing. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The coronavirus pandemic has compelled governors and legislatures to fast-track remote attestation laws, a previously prohibited form of witnessing that has largely been left out of the thoughtful, nearly two-decades-long but largely unsuccessful, effort to validate electronic wills. This Article examines the unforeseen problems that have arisen in the rush to institute remote attestation in the current crisis, urges lawmakers to interpret the presence requirement as encompassing remote attestation, and predicts that the current experiment with remote attestation will speed the enactment of electronic-will legislation. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the acceptability, feasibility, and preliminary efficacy of using an online educational resource that presents research-informed strategies for women's pleasure, OMGyes.com, as a resource to empower women to broaden the ways in which they understand, advocate for, and enjoy sexual pleasure. A cohort of 870 adult women was given access to OMGyes.com and asked to explore the resource over a four-week period and complete online pre/post questionnaires. Participants reported a high level of satisfaction with the relatability, usefulness, and functionality of OMGyes.com. We observed statistically significant, large effect size increases in participants' knowledge about their own pleasure preferences, their confidence and positivity about that knowledge, as well as how pleasurable their sexual experiences were during both masturbation and partner sex. Many participants reported that after using OMGyes.com they felt more motivated to explore their preferences and more confident to explain their preferences to their partners. Our data suggest that OMGyes.com may be useful for positively impacting how women think about sexual pleasure, how they understand their own specific preferences, how they advocate for what they enjoy with partners, and how they actually experience pleasure. This article describes selected results of research referred to as "Digital Internet resources in learning and development in future educators’ opinion – a case study", conducted in the years 2018–2019 at the University of Silesia. This research project was one of the many components of long–term research called “The Role of the Faculty Distance Learning Platform in Increasing the Quality of the Development of Future and In–service Teachers’ Competences”, conducted at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences of Education at the University of Silesia. The long–term research was intended to provide an initial description of two issues: how do students themselves rate their own knowledge, and what is the actual level of students’ knowledge in the field of the Copyright Act and licenses, necessary for searching for and properly using Internet content as well as students’ awareness of information and search competences that determine the education process. The research also looked at students’ ability to search for and verify information necessary for them to prepare for class and the awareness of the opportunities offered by the use of resources and websites as well as applications and programs determining how leisure time is spent. The text certain theoretical aspects of ICT and media competence and looks at soft competences, including the use of IT tools to search for information, critical thinking. Finally, the conclusions are presented. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
