After 15 years of reforming and opening the country, the Cuban government has successfully led the country through the "Special Period". Cuban society and economy developed and gained many important achievements. Despite many difficulties and challenges remained, achievements in various fields continue: the commodity economy gradually eliminates the traditional bureaucratic and planned economy, the self-controlled economy gains its position and gradually replaces the "dependent" economy of the past. The crisis has been well controlled and overcome; the Cuban material and spiritual life was improved considerably. Among various factors which contributed to the success of the socio-economic reforms in Cuba, continuous attempts of the Cuban State and Party to stabilize the country's society during this difficult time was often considered the most crucial factor, playing the decisive role in the State attempts to overcome all the challenges in this "Special Period". Nghiên cứu nhằm so sánh tăng trưởng và tỉ lệ sống của cá trê vàng ở giai đoạn giống được lai từ ba nguồn gồm cá tự nhiên Cà Mau (CM) và Long An (LA) và cá nuôi Cần Thơ (CT). Cá bột của 8 tổ hợp lai được ương trên bể (500 L) theo hai giai đoạn: giai đoạn 1 từ 2 đến 30 ngày tuổi (2 con/L) và giai đoạn 2 từ 30 đến 75 ngày (1 con/3L). Kết quả ương giai đoạn 1 cho thấy chiều dài và khối lượng của cá khác biệt không có ý nghĩa giữa các nghiệm thức, dao động tương ứng 27,4 – 34,8 mm và 0,22 – 0,46 g. Nghiên cứu nhằm đánh giá ảnh hưởng của các nguồn cá cá trê vàng bố mẹ đến các chỉ tiêu sinh sản và sự phát triển của cá bột. Ba nguồn cá bố mẹ gồm 2 nguồn cá tự nhiên ở Cà Mau (CM) và Long An (LA) và nguồn 1 nuôi ở Cần Thơ (CT) được nuôi vỗ ba tháng. Khi cá đạt giai đoạn thành thục, 6 đến 9 cặp cá từ mỗi nguồn được lai chéo theo 9 tổ hợp.
