There are millions of followers belonging to the "Zhikri" sect in Pakistan's Baluchistan province, especially in Makran Division and Sindh, as well as in Iranian Balochistan. Not much material is available about the history and teachings of the Zikri sect, hence little information is available about the sect. This sect is counted among those sects and traditions, whose tradition was transmitted from breast to breast. The reason for naming this sect as “Zikri” is their frequent mention of God. There is no exact information about the date of the beginning of this sect and its founder, there is also a difference in the accounts.
