RESUMO A fim de compreender a dispersa produção da área interdisciplinar sobre a temática da tatuagem, realizamos um levantamento dos discursos de 35 artigos publicados em periódicos brasileiros da área interdisciplinar, no período compreendido entre 1990 e 2020. A partir desses artigos, elaboramos quatro eixos de análise: a tatuagem como inscrição do eu, potência criativa e emancipatória; o lado “b” da tatuagem; a interface entre saúde pública, dermatologia e tatuagem; e, por fim, a nova geração de tatuadores. Por fim, apresentamos algumas considerações no sentido de que, apreender a tatuagem como prática discursiva, abre as portas de um labirinto, cujas saídas inexistem e tampouco nos asseguram uma subjetividade contemporânea mais liberta e emancipada. ABSTRACT To understand the dispersed interdisciplinary production on the topic of tattoos, we conducted a survey of the language of 35 articles published in Brazilian interdisciplinary journals from 1990 to 2020. From these articles, we developed four axes of analysis: tattoo as an inscription of the self, a creative and emancipatory power; the “B” side of tattoo; the interface between public health, dermatology and tattoo; and, lastly, the new generation of tattoo artists. We then present some considerations that apprehending tattoo as a discursive practice opens the doors of a labyrinth, whose exits do not exist and do not assure us a more liberated and emancipated contemporary subjectivity.

Estudos de natureza sistemática e descritiva como panoramas ou mesmo estado da arte, são cada vez mais imprescindíveis atualmente, haja vista o volume de informações cada vez maiores nos dias de hoje, sobretudo na Educação. Esse trabalho refere-se a um estudo bibliográfico tendo como base de dados o Encontro Nacional de Pesquisa em Educação em Ciências (ENPEC); o Banco de Dissertações e Teses da Capes (BDTs) e as teses produzidas pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação em Ciências e Matemática, Rede Amazônica de Educação em Ciências e Matemática (REAMEC). Tem como objetivo identificar a produção acadêmica no Brasil no período de 2009 a 2018, no que se refere ao Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio (ENEM), assim como trabalhos que possam ter certa proximidade entre Enem e os pressupostos CTS, associado ao Ensino de Ciências e Matemática. Notamos que na última década, a produção acadêmica em Educação relacionada a temas como Enem e CTS são ainda muito tímidos, principalmente se considerarmos ambos os temas simultaneamente.

This study collates and reviews the state of the art in the phenomenon of atypical pelagic Sargassum influxes in the coastline of the Mexican Caribbean, focusing on projects, studies and initiatives that have been conducted in the country for a decade. We integrated multisectoral and multidisciplinary knowledge and identified gaps and strengths in current knowledge. Initiatives and projects conducted in Mexico are numerous, diverse and valuable. However, interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research and interinstitutional coordinated actions in the medium- and long-term are still lacking. Because of this, there is an imbalance of actions in different knowledge areas that prevents this phenomenon from being addressed in a comprehensive way. Furthermore, the funding opportunities for Sargassum research projects and other initiatives seem to respond to the events of massive influxes, without continuity or long-term planning. Attention is mainly focused on urban and touristic areas, so impacts to rural or uninhabited zones are unknown. This review represents a stepping-stone towards an integrated multisectoral effort to shift the perspective from Sargassum being a “national problem” to a “national resource,” considering and fully understanding the ecological importance of this macroalgae as a floating ecosystem and its potential as an economic resource once it massively arrives in Mexican coastal areas.

In-stent restenosis (ISR) remains the most common cause of stent failure after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Recent data suggest that ISR-PCI accounts for 5-10% of all PCI procedures performed in current clinical practice. This State-of-the-Art review will primarily focus on the management of ISR but will begin by briefly discussing diagnosis and classification. We then move on to detail the evidence base underpinning the various therapeutic strategies for ISR before finishing with a proposed ISR management algorithm based on current scientific data.

Autoimmune pulmonary alveolar proteinosis (PAP) is a rare disease characterized by myeloid cell dysfunction, abnormal pulmonary surfactant accumulation, and innate immune deficiency. It has a prevalence of 7-10 per million; occurs in individuals of all races, geographic regions, sex, and socioeconomic status; and accounts for 90% of all patients with PAP syndrome. The most common presentation is dyspnea of insidious onset with or without cough, production of scant white and frothy sputum, and diffuse radiographic infiltrates in a previously healthy adult, but it can also occur in children as young as 3 years. Digital clubbing, fever, and hemoptysis are not typical, and the latter two indicate that intercurrent infection may be present. Low prevalence and nonspecific clinical, radiological, and laboratory findings commonly lead to misdiagnosis as pneumonia and substantially delay an accurate diagnosis. The clinical course, although variable, usually includes progressive hypoxemic respiratory insufficiency and, in some patients, secondary infections, pulmonary fibrosis, respiratory failure, and death. Two decades of research have raised autoimmune PAP from obscurity to a paradigm of molecular pathogenesis-based diagnostic and therapeutic development. Pathogenesis is driven by GM-CSF (granulocyte/macrophage colony-stimulating factor) autoantibodies, which are present at high concentrations in blood and tissues and form the basis of an accurate, commercially available diagnostic blood test with sensitivity and specificity of 100%. Although whole-lung lavage remains the first-line therapy, inhaled GM-CSF is a promising pharmacotherapeutic approach demonstrated in well-controlled trials to be safe, well tolerated, and efficacious. Research has established GM-CSF as a pulmonary regulatory molecule critical to surfactant homeostasis, alveolar stability, lung function, and host defense.

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is the end result of a series of dynamic and cumulative gene–environment interactions over a lifetime. The evolving understanding of COPD biology provides novel opportunities for prevention, early diagnosis, and intervention. To advance these concepts, we propose therapeutic trials in two major groups of subjects: “young” individuals with COPD and those with pre-COPD. Given that lungs grow to about 20 years of age and begin to age at approximately 50 years, we consider “young” patients with COPD those patients in the age range of 20–50 years. Pre-COPD relates to individuals of any age who have respiratory symptoms with or without structural and/or functional abnormalities, in the absence of airflow limitation, and who may develop persistent airflow limitation over time. We exclude from the current discussion infants and adolescents because of their unique physiological context and COPD in older adults given their representation in prior randomized controlled trials (RCTs). We highlight the need of RCTs focused on COPD in young patients or pre-COPD to reduce disease progression, providing innovative approaches to identifying and engaging potential study subjects. We detail approaches to RCT design, including potential outcomes such as lung function, patient-reported outcomes, exacerbations, lung imaging, mortality, and composite endpoints. We critically review study design components such as statistical powering and analysis, duration of study treatment, and formats to trial structure, including platform, basket, and umbrella trials. We provide a call to action for treatment RCTs in 1) young adults with COPD and 2) those with pre-COPD at any age.

Dado el carácter polisémico y multidimensional de la noción calidad y de su centralidad y relevancia creciente en la educación superior, resulta necesario sentar bases que permitan conceptualizarla en función de su contexto de aplicación, de modo de dar sustento y consistencia al diseño de políticas focalizadas. El artículo expone los principales lineamientos metodológicos y resultados de una exhaustiva revisión bibliográfica orientada a esos efectos, centrada en la identificación de las concepciones sobre calidad de la educación superior en artículos publicados entre 2016 y 2020 en revistas de alto impacto internacional. Una vez finalizada la revisión, que siguió los lineamientos axiales del método PRISMA-P, quedaron seleccionados 186 artículos del universo inicial de 53 290. Un análisis por codificación abierta deductiva permitió identificar las concepciones predominantes de la calidad de la educación superior y sus componentes valorados como sustantivos. Otro de los resultados destacables es la pertinencia de agrupar esas concepciones en dos categorías —“calidad en soi” y “calidad pour soi”—, muy afines con las posiciones asumidas en dos textos muy influyentes en Hispanoamérica. Del análisis de los artículos seleccionados surgió una interrogante crucial: ¿a quién le corresponde determinar la calidad de un producto o servicio en educación superior? La respuesta a esta pregunta dio lugar a la emergencia de un posicionamiento teórico-conceptual alternativo a los subyacentes en esas categorías: “calidad pour qui” (calidad para quién, calidad para quiénes).//Given the polysemic and multidimensional nature of the notion of quality and its centrality and growing relevance in higher education, it is necessary to lay the foundations for conceptualizing it in terms of its context of application, in order to provide support and consistency to the design of specific policies. This paper presents the main methodological guidelines and findings of an exhaustive literature review focused on identifying the conceptions of quality in higher education in papers published in high-impact international journals between 2016-2020. Following the axial guidelines of the PRISMA-P method, 186 articles were selected out of 53,290 identified as part of the initial universe. Using open deductive coding, prevailing conceptions of the quality of higher education and its valued components were identified. Another noteworthy finding is the relevance of grouping these conceptions into two categories –“quality en soi” and “quality pour soi”– which are very similar to the positions taken in two very influential publications in Latin America. A crucial question arose as a consequence of the analysis of the articles submitted for review: who is responsible for determining the quality of a product or service in higher education? The answer to this question gave rise to the emergence of an alternative theoretical and conceptual positioning to those underlying the two categories: “quality pour qui” (quality for whom).

Ovarian cancer represents the fifth cause of cancer death among women, carrying one of the worst prognoses among gynaecological malignancies. The need to achieve no residual disease after surgery in order to optimize prognosis of advanced-stage ovarian cancer introduced the idea of neoadjuvant chemotherapy. The present review aims to summarize current state-of-the-art evidence regarding the efficacy and safety of neoadjuvant chemotherapy as well as novel insights regarding the usage of modern therapeutic regimens in the context of neoadjuvant chemotherapy. The last decade has been characterized by the breakthrough scientific evidence that neoadjuvant chemotherapy followed by interval debulking surgery for advanced-stage ovarian cancer may be comparable to primary debulking surgery. Neoadjuvant chemotherapy followed by interval debulking surgery is an acceptable - if not preferable - therapeutic approach in advanced-staged ovarian cancer patients because it is associated with higher optimal debulking surgery, fewer complications, and non-inferior survival outcomes. The addition of bevacizumab to chemotherapy contributes significantly to survival outcomes without causing side effects that outbalance the benefits. Patients with recurrent high-grade serous ovarian cancer and a germline or breast cancer mutation should be offered maintenance olaparib after a response to platinum-based chemotherapy. Finally, the role of hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy in the context of neoadjuvant chemotherapy remains unjustified.

Neuroelectronic interfaces with the nervous system are an essential technology in state-of-the-art neuroscience research aiming to uncover the fundamental working mechanisms of the brain. Progress towards increased spatio-temporal resolution has been tightly linked to the advance of microelectronics technology and novel materials. Translation of these technologies to neuroscience has resulted in multichannel neural probes and acquisition systems enabling the recording of brain signals using thousands of channels. This review provides an overview of state-of-the-art neuroelectronic technologies, with emphasis on recording site architectures which enable the implementation of addressable arrays for high-channel-count neural interfaces. Algorithmic fairness has been framed as a newly emerging technology that mitigates systemic discrimination in automated decision-making, providing opportunities to improve fairness in information systems (IS). However, based on a state-of-the-art literature review, we argue that fairness is an inherently social concept and that technologies for algorithmic fairness should therefore be approached through a sociotechnical lens. We advance the discourse on algorithmic fairness as a sociotechnical phenomenon. Our research objective is to embed AF in the sociotechnical view of IS. Specifically, we elaborate on why outcomes of a system that uses algorithmic means to assure fairness depends on mutual influences between technical and social structures. This perspective can generate new insights that integrate knowledge from both technical fields and social studies. Further, it spurs new directions for IS debates. We contribute as follows: First, we problematize fundamental assumptions in the current discourse on algorithmic fairness based on a systematic analysis of 310 articles. Second, we respond to these assumptions by theorizing algorithmic fairness as a sociotechnical construct. Third, we propose directions for IS researchers to enhance their impacts by pursuing a unique understanding of sociotechnical algorithmic fairness. We call for and undertake a holistic approach to AF. Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) within failed bioprosthetic surgical aortic valves (valve-in-valve TAVI) has become an established procedure, currently approved for patients deemed at high risk for repeat aortic valve intervention. Although less invasive than surgical reoperation, challenges of valve-in-valve treatment include higher rates of malposition, prosthesis-patient mismatch and coronary obstruction. Thus, optimal patient selection and preprocedural planning is of the utmost importance to minimise the risk of these complications. In this review article we provide a fully illustrated overview of the most significant periprocedural operative considerations for valve-in-valve TAVI.

Cette présentation donne un aperçu sur l'état des lieux de l’intelligence artificielle au Cameroun en présentant les enjeux, les opportunités et les défis. Supplemental Digital Content is available in the text., Myocarditis has been recognized as a rare complication of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) mRNA vaccinations, especially in young adult and adolescent males. According to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, myocarditis/pericarditis rates are ≈12.6 cases per million doses of second-dose mRNA vaccine among individuals 12 to 39 years of age. In reported cases, patients with myocarditis invariably presented with chest pain, usually 2 to 3 days after a second dose of mRNA vaccination, and had elevated cardiac troponin levels. ECG was abnormal with ST elevations in most, and cardiac MRI was suggestive of myocarditis in all tested patients. There was no evidence of acute COVID-19 or other viral infections. In 1 case, a cardiomyopathy gene panel was negative, but autoantibody levels against certain self-antigens and frequency of natural killer cells were increased. Although the mechanisms for development of myocarditis are not clear, molecular mimicry between the spike protein of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) and self-antigens, trigger of preexisting dysregulated immune pathways in certain individuals, immune response to mRNA, and activation of immunologic pathways, and dysregulated cytokine expression have been proposed. The reasons for male predominance in myocarditis cases are unknown, but possible explanations relate to sex hormone differences in immune response and myocarditis, and also underdiagnosis of cardiac disease in women. Almost all patients had resolution of symptoms and signs and improvement in diagnostic markers and imaging with or without treatment. Despite rare cases of myocarditis, the benefit-risk assessment for COVID-19 vaccination shows a favorable balance for all age and sex groups; therefore, COVID-19 vaccination is recommended for everyone ≥12 years of age.

The article discusses the challenges of advertising in its interaction with public on digital networks and proposes a methodology to map the discursive struggles that occurred in the interaction. It was assumed that there is a potent triad among the concepts of advertising, experience and audiences, and uses the theoretical framework of pragmatism to articulate such concepts. A case was analyzed between the brand of medicines Novalfem and the public of Facebook. The originality of the work consists in proposing the mapping of different rationale logics that emerges from the interaction. Este artículo analiza los desafíos de la publicidad en su interacción con el público en las redes digitales y propone una metodología para mapear los choques discursivos ocurridos en la interacción. Parte de la hipótesis de una potente tríada entre los conceptos de publicidad, experiencia y público y hace uso del marco teórico del pragmatismo para articular dichos conceptos. Se analizó un caso entre la marca de medicamentos Novalfem y los interactuantes de Facebook. La originalidad del trabajo consiste en proponer el mapeo de diferentes lógicas que surgen de la interacción. O presente estado da arte de teses e dissertações no campo da comunicação buscou dimensionar as pesquisas sobre o universo da masculinidade. Por meio do levantamento, observamos que o principal gradiente interpretativo mobilizado por essas investigações buscava analisar os enfrentamentos, no universo midiático-comunicacional, da visibilidade de masculinidades, compreendendo os regimes e jogos aí implicados.

Together, SARS-CoV-2 and M. tuberculosis have killed approximately 5.7 million people worldwide over the past 2 years. The COVID-19 pandemic, and the non-pharmaceutical interventions to mitigate COVID-19 transmission (including social distancing regulations, partial lockdowns and quarantines), have disrupted healthcare services and led to a reallocation of resources to COVID-19 care. There has also been a tragic loss of healthcare workers who succumbed to the disease. This has had consequences for TB services, and the fear of contracting COVID-19 may also have contributed to reduced access to TB services. Altogether, this is projected to have resulted in a 5-year setback in terms of mortality from TB and a 9-year setback in terms of TB detection. In addition, past and present TB disease has been reported to increase both COVID-19 fatality and incidence. Similarly, COVID-19 may adversely affect TB outcomes. From a more positive perspective, the pandemic has also created opportunities to improve TB care. In this review, we highlight similarities and differences between these two infectious diseases, describe gaps in our knowledge and discuss solutions and priorities for future research.

Image-guided high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) has been increasingly used in medicine over the past few decades, and several systems for such have become commercially available. HIFU has passed regulatory approval around the world for the ablation of various solid tumors, the treatment of neurologic diseases, and the palliative management of bone metastases. The mechanical and thermal effects of focused ultrasound provide a possibility for histotripsy, supportive radiation therapy, and targeted drug delivery. The integration of imaging modalities into HIFU systems allows for precise temperature monitoring and accurate treatment planning, increasing the safety and efficiency of treatment. Preclinical and clinical results have demonstrated the potential of image-guided HIFU to reduce adverse effects and increase the quality of life postoperatively. Interventional nuclear image–guided HIFU is an attractive noninvasive option for the future.

A significant proportion of patients presenting with acute coronary syndromes (ACS) have multivessel disease (MVD). Despite the abundance of clinical trials in this area, several questions regarding the procedure of complete coronary revascularisation remain unanswered. This state-of-the-art review summarises the latest evidence on complete revascularisation (CR) in this subset of patients and critically appraises clinical decision making based on non-culprit lesion (NCL) assessment. Future areas of research are put into perspective.

Routing is a crucial component in the design of Flying Ad-Hoc Networks (FANETs). State of the art routing solutions exploit the position of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and their mobility information to determine the existence of links between them, but this information is often unreliable, as the topology of FANETs can change quickly and unpredictably. In order to improve the tracking performance, the uncertainty introduced by imperfect measurements and tracking algorithms needs to be accounted for in the routing. Another important element to consider is beamforming, which can reduce interference, but requires accurate channel and position information to work. In this work, we present the Beam Aware Stochastic Multihop Routing for FANETs (BA-SMURF), a Software-Defined Networking (SDN) routing scheme that takes into account the positioning uncertainty and beamforming design to find the most reliable routes in a FANET. The present study aims to analyze the state of the art of scientific studies about the Overtopping device used to convert sea wave energy into electrical energy, by means the Bibliometric methodology. The development of this study took place through the selection of articles from conference proceedings, as well as national and international journals. The Bibliometric methodology consists of a statistical tool that allows quantifying the measurement of production indexes. Using selected keywords, it was conducted a survey of studies in the online databases of Science Direct, SciELO and Google Scholar. The works found then went through a filtering process, in order to limit the Bibliometric study only to studies about Overtopping devices as sea Wave Energy Converter (WEC). Finally, the investigation of these selected articles was carried out under the optics of production and authorship study, content study and study of bibliographic references. Where it was identified growth in publications related to the topic, methodologies used and, among other indicators, the authors most cited in the analyzed articles. The predominant keywords used were “Wave Energy Converter” and “Overtopping”. It was noted that Brazilian universities are leaders in the productivity, presenting more than 36% of the scientific production regarding Overtopping WECs.

Medicinal plants play a crucial role in the primary health care of the population in developing countries such as Benin. The national universities of Benin conduct research on the pharmacological, toxicological, and phytochemical properties of these plants, but the resulting knowledge often does not lead to the development of phytomedicines for the improvement of public health. This study aims to assess the current status of research on medicinal plants in Benin. A literature review was conducted using various search engines, and the collected data was analyzed. The results indicate that research on the biological properties of medicinal plants is still in its early stages, with limited and inadequate methodological approaches. These limitations highlight the urgent need to enhance research practices and facilitate the development of effective and safe phytomedicines.

A state-of-the-art lecture titled “novel mechanisms of thrombo-inflammation during infection” was presented at the ISTH Congress in 2022. Platelet, neutrophil, and endothelial cell activation coordinate the development, progression, and resolution of thrombo-inflammatory events during infection. Activated platelets and neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) are frequently observed in patients with sepsis and COVID-19, and high levels of NET-derived damage-associated molecular patterns (DAMPs) correlate with thrombotic complications. NET-associated DAMPs induce direct and indirect platelet activation, which in return potentiates neutrophil activation and NET formation. These coordinated interactions involve multiple receptors and signaling pathways contributing to vascular and organ damage exacerbating disease severity. This state-of-the-art review describes the main mechanisms by which platelets support NETosis and the key mechanisms by which NET-derived DAMPs trigger platelet activation and the formation of procoagulant platelets leading to thrombosis. We report how these DAMPs act through multiple receptors and signaling pathways differentially regulating cell activation and disease outcome, focusing on histones and S100A8/A9 and their contribution to the pathogenesis of sepsis and COVID-19. We further discuss the complexity of platelet activation during NETosis and the potential benefit of targeting selective or multiple NET-associated DAMPs to limit thrombo-inflammation during infection. Finally, we summarize relevant new data on this topic presented during the 2022 ISTH Congress.

Parte de este trabajo se ha realizado gracias a la financiación del Departamento de Innovación, Investigación y Universidad del Gobierno de Aragón., El proceso que da lugar al síndrome de burnout ha sido ampliamente estudiado por la literatura científica. Este síndrome, que se produce fundamentalmente en las profesiones donde existe un contacto directo y constante con personas usuarias, se ha estudiado tradicionalmente en profesiones sanitarias, educativas, y en menor medida, en profesiones asistenciales. No obstante, el creciente desarrollo de la investigación sobre burnout en trabajo social y en las profesiones de ayuda en general, da cuenta del interés de estos colectivos profesionales por asumir y comprender las consecuencias para la salud derivadas de su actividad laboral, así como su interés por desarrollar herramientas de afrontamiento de las mismas. El presente trabajo busca recoger, a modo de balance, las aportaciones científicas que sobre burnout y trabajo social se han realizado en España en los últimos diez años, sintetizando algunos de los principales resultados obtenidos en las mismas a partir de las variables asociadas al síndrome, así como las posibles medidas preventivas recomendadas por estas investigaciones., The process that results to burnout syndrome has been extensively studied in the scientific literature. This syndrome, which turns up mainly in professions with a direct and constant contact with users, has traditionally been studied in health, education, and to a lesser extent, in caring professions. However, the increasing development of research on burnout in social work and in the helping professions in general, reveals the interest of these professional groups in assuming and understanding the consequences for health resulting from their work activity, as well as the interest shown in developing coping strategies. Antiplatelet therapy is key to reducing local thrombotic complications and systemic ischaemic events among patients undergoing percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), but it is inevitably associated with increased bleeding. The continuous refinement in stent technologies, together with the high incidence of ischaemic recurrences after PCI and the understanding of prognostic implications associated with bleeding, have led to a substantial evolution in antiplatelet treatment regimens over the past decades. Numerous investigations have been conducted to better stratify patients undergoing PCI according to their ischaemic and bleeding risks and to implement antithrombotic regimens accordingly. Evidence from these investigations have resulted in a number of antithrombotic treatment options as recommended by recent guidelines. In this State-of-the-Art review we provide the rationale, summarise the evidence, and discuss current and future directions of antiplatelet treatment regimens after PCI.

Catheter-based treatment of structural heart diseases (SHD) has seen tremendous advances in the past decades, thanks to the development of new devices and advances in imaging techniques. Today, we have an extensive armamentarium of imaging tools for preprocedural planning, intraprocedural guidance and follow- up of SHD. Intraprocedural guidance is based mainly on transoesophageal echocardiography; however, other imaging modalities are used as complementary or alternative techniques, each of them with its strengths and weaknesses. Thus, a multimodality imaging approach provides added values in this setting. As the field of imaging parallels the continuous technical improvements, this review will describe the state of the art imaging techniques, focusing on echocardiography during procedural guidance of the most common catheter-based interventions, providing tips and tricks for interventional cardiologists: In particular, how to guide transseptal crossing; left atrial appendage closure; transcatheter mitral or tricuspid valve repair or replacement; percutaneous closure of patent foramen ovale and atrial defects; and percutaneous closure of paravalvular leaks. Open challenges for the near future are the need for physicians with specific technical skills and competencies in SHD imaging, more attention to high levels of radiation exposure, and optimisation of intraprocedural and post-procedural evaluation.

Transformers have achieved state-of-the-art results across multiple NLP tasks. However, the self-attention mechanism complexity scales quadratically with the sequence length, creating an obstacle for tasks involving long sequences, like in the speech domain. In this paper, we discuss the usefulness of self-attention for Direct Speech Translation. First, we analyze the layer-wise token contributions in the self-attention of the encoder, unveiling local diagonal patterns. To prove that some attention weights are avoidable, we propose to substitute the standard self-attention with a local efficient one, setting the amount of context used based on the results of the analysis. With this approach, our model matches the baseline performance, and improves the efficiency by skipping the computation of those weights that standard attention discards., Comment: ACL-SRW 2022. An implementation is proposed for the problematic of precise positioning indoors with special emphasis on mixed, virtual or augmented reality (XR) applications through an inertial system complemented by an optical system to, alongside other techniques, manage to contain and correct drift and mitigate other estimation error. The aim is to achieve a sufficiently precise positions for this type of application, using concepts that are less computationally expensive than those used in the state of the art. Las interfaces cerebro-máquina son las encargadas de integrar la actividad captada con ordenadores para su posterior análisis. No obstante, obtener datos de calidad partir de las señales cerebrales noes una tarea sencilla. Diversas técnicas han sido estudiados durante décadas en la comunidad científica, dentro de las cuales destacan, por su rendimiento y resultados prometedores, los modelos de aprendizaje automático. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo implementar y experimentar con técnicas de aprendizaje profundo del estado del arte para así descifrar la información que traen este tipo de señales, haciendo uso de la Tecnología de Interfaz cerebro-máquina. Technological advances have made it easier to capture bioelectrical brain activity using electronic devices. Brain-machine interfaces are responsible for integrating the captured activity with computers for further analysis. However, obtaining quality data from brain signals is not a simple task. Several techniques have been studied for decades in the scientific community, among which machine learning models stand out for their performance and promising results. The present work aims to implement and experiment with state-of-the-art deep learning techniques in order to decipher the information brought by this type of signals, making use of Brain-Computer Interface Technology. RESUMO Este artigo apresenta um balanço da produção acadêmica sobre ação afirmativa na pós-graduação brasileira, tendo em vista identificar as principais características dessa agenda de pesquisa. Para tanto, utiliza abordagem qualitativa, do tipo estado da arte, a partir da análise de conteúdo de teses, dissertações e artigos publicados nos principais portais disponíveis. O texto evidencia um campo incipiente e a necessidade de investimento em redes de pesquisadores de diversas regiões brasileiras para estimular o mapeamento e a análise de experiências existentes e apontar caminhos de resistência neste momento de desinvestimento do Estado em políticas educacionais de desenvolvimento científico associado ao fortalecimento das políticas de ação afirmativa. ABSTRACT This paper presents an academic production review on affirmative actions in Brazilian graduation, aiming at identifying the main characteristics of this research agenda. Thereunto, it uses a qualitative State of Art approach from the content analysis of thesis, dissertations, and papers published by the main websites available. The text evinces an incipient field, as well as the need for investment in researchers’ networks from several Brazilian regions in order to stimulate the mapping and analysis of existing experiences, also pointing resistance paths in this moment of State disinvestment in educational policies for scientific development associated to the strengthening of affirmative action policies. RESUMEN Este artículo presenta una revisión de la producción académica sobre acción afirmativa en el posgrado brasileño, con la intención de identificar las principales características de esa agenda de investigación. Para ello, utiliza del abordaje cualitativo del tipo Estado del Arte, desde el análisis de contenido de teses, disertaciones y artículos publicados en las principales portadas disponibles. El texto hace evidente un campo incipiente y la necesidad de inversión en redes de investigadores de diversas regiones brasileñas para estimular el mapeo y análisis de experiencias existentes, y apuntar caminos de resistencia en este momento de desinversiones del Estado en políticas educativas de desarrollo científico asociado con el fortalecimiento de las políticas de acción afirmativa.

This article has carried out a state-of-the-art survey of the main international publications related to Critical Success Factors (CSFs) and project management performance from 2009 to 2019. The publications were extracted from the databases of the platforms Engineering Village, Web of Science and Scopus. In total, 77 works published in major international journals were selected for the bibliographic review. It was noted that the approaches that stood out in these articles are related to evaluation system, maturity analysis, types of strategies, use of management tools, and project governance process. The research has also identified 19 CSFs most cited in these publications and grouped them into categories. The results showed that a CSF related to human resources – team commitment – was the most cited in the publications. It is expected that the results of this work can contribute to the understanding, expansion and continuous enhancement of research in the field of project management. By producing a database of scientific works and presenting an overview of the needs and challenges that have to be overcome, it should also contribute to providing researchers with a theoretical background for further development in the field. resumo: O presente artigo realizou um levantamento do tipo “estado da arte” nas principais publicações internacionais relacionadas a Fatores Críticos de Sucesso (FCS) e desempenho em gerenciamento de projetos no período de 2009 a 2019. Para isso, foi utilizada a base de dados de fornecedores de dados livres das plataformas Engineering Village, Web of Science e Scopus onde foram extraídas e consultadas publicações para análise. Assim, encontrou-se para revisão bibliográfica o total de 77 trabalhos publicados nas principais revistas internacionais. Verificou-se que as abordagens que mais se destacaram nestes artigos são relacionadas ao sistema de avaliação, à análise de maturidade, aos tipos de estratégias, ao uso de ferramentas de gestão e ao processo de governança nos projetos. A pesquisa, também, identificou 19 FCS mais citados nessas publicações e agrupou-os em categorias. Os resultados mostraram que o FCS relacionado aos recursos humanos - comprometimento da equipe - foi o principal elemento e o mais citado nas publicações. Espera-se que os resultados deste trabalho, possam colaborar na compreensão e ampliação das pesquisas e no aperfeiçoamento contínuo para os trabalhos em gerenciamento de projetos. Além de contribuir para construção da memória, na medida em que produz um banco de dados sobre as produções científicas, dando uma visão de suas necessidades e a possibilidade de apropriação de um referencial teórico para os pesquisadores que desenvolvem estudos na área.

For the last ten years, software product line (SPL) tool developers have been facing the implementation of different variability requirements and the support of SPL engineering activities demanded by emergent domains. Despite systematic literature reviews identifying the main characteristics of existing tools and the SPL activities they support, these reviews do not always help to understand if such tools provide what complex variability projects demand. This paper presents an empirical research in which we evaluate the degree of maturity of existing SPL tools focusing on their support of variability modeling characteristics and SPL engineering activities required by current application domains. We first identify the characteristics and activities that are essential for the development of SPLs by analyzing a selected sample of case studies chosen from application domains with high variability. Second, we conduct an exploratory study to analyze whether the existing tools support those characteristics and activities. We conclude that, with the current tool support, it is possible to develop a basic SPL approach. But we have also found out that these tools present several limitations when dealing with complex variability requirements demanded by emergent application domains, such as non-Boolean features or large configuration spaces. Additionally, we identify the necessity for an integrated approach with appropriate tool support to completely cover all the activities and phases of SPL engineering. To mitigate this problem, we propose different road map using the existing tools to partially or entirely support SPL engineering activities, from variability modeling to product derivation. This study introduces the evolutionary multi-objective version of seagull optimization algorithm (SOA), entitled Evolutionary Multi-objective Seagull Optimization Algorithm (EMoSOA). In this algorithm, a dynamic archive concept, grid mechanism, leader selection, and genetic operators are employed with the capability to cache the solutions from the non-dominatedPareto. The roulette-wheel method is employed to find the appropriate archived solutions. The proposed algorithm is tested and compared with state-of-the-art metaheuristic algorithms over twenty-four standard benchmark test functions. Four real-world engineering design problems are validated using proposedEMoSOAalgorithm to determine its adequacy. The findings of empirical research indicate that the proposed algorithm is better than other algorithms. It also takes into account those optimal solutions from theParetowhich shows high convergence. Resumen El presente artículo ofrece un estado del arte sobre la producción investigativa de la Academia Nariñense de Historia. Para ello, se efectuó una búsqueda heurística, que abarcó el periodo de 1927 a 2020, tanto en las principales revistas académicas nacionales, como también, en las diferentes publicaciones regionales adscritas o no a la Academia Nariñense de Historia. Asimismo, se realizó una reflexión crítica frente al contenido que los trabajos abordados enuncian sobre el objeto de investigación en cuestión, exponiendo no solo los aspectos importantes de dichos documentos, sino también las limitaciones de los mismos. El artículo ofrece la posibilidad de perfilar la tendencia existente en investigación historiográfica nariñense y con ello, proyectar nuevos enfoques y propuestas que suplan los problemas de investigación no trabajados hasta el momento. Abstract This article seeks to establish a state of the art that accounts for advances in research, the object of study of which is the Nariñense Academy of History and its production. To do this, a heuristic search was carried out, covering the period from 1927 to 2020, both in the main national academic journals, as well as in the different regional publication attached or not to the Nariñense Academy of History. Subsequently, a critical reflection was carried out against the content that the traced Works enunciate on the object of investigation in question, exposing not only the important aspects of said documents, but also their limitations. The article offers the possibility of outlining the existing trend in the Nariñense historiographical research and with it, projecting new approaches and proposals that supply the research problems not worked on so far. Resumo O presente artigo procura estabelecer um estado da arte que mostre os avanços da pesquisa, cujo objeto de estudo é a Academia Nariñense da História e sua produção. Para isso, foi realizada uma pesquisa heurística, abrangendo o período compreendido entre 1927 a 2020, tanto nas principais revistas acadêmicas nacionais quanto nas diversas publicações regionais vinculadas ou não à Academia Nariñense da História. Posteriormente, foi realizada uma reflexão crítica do conteúdo dos trabalhos encontrados que fazem referência ao objeto de pesquisa em questão, expondo não só os aspectos importantes desses documentos, mas também suas limitações. O artigo oferece a possibilidade de analisar a tendência existente na pesquisa historiográfica em Narino e, ao mesmo tempo, projetar novas abordagens e propostas para a análise dos problemas de pesquisa que não tenham sido trabalhados até o momento.

The complexity of integrating microbiota into clinical pharmacology, environmental toxicology, and opioid studies arises from bidirectional and multiscale interactions between humans and their many microbiota, notably those of the gut. Hosts and each microbiota are governed by distinct central dogmas, with genetics influencing transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics. Each microbiota's metabolome differentially modulates its own and the host's multi‐omics. Exogenous compounds (e.g., drugs and toxins), often affect host multi‐omics differently than microbiota multi‐omics, shifting the balance between drug efficacy and toxicity. The complexity of the host‐microbiota connection has been informed by current methods of in vitro bacterial cultures and in vivo mouse models, but they fail to elucidate mechanistic details. Together, in vitro organ‐on‐chip microphysiological models, multi‐omics, and in silico computational models have the potential to supplement the established methods to help clinical pharmacologists and environmental toxicologists unravel the myriad of connections between the gut microbiota and host health and disease.

Estos cambios incluyen una nueva estructura del capítulo, nuevas categorías diagnósticas, cambios en los criterios diagnósticos y pasos hacia un enfoque dimensional. Además, se revisan los estudios de campo de evaluación para la CIE-11, que proporcionan evidencia preliminar de una mayor confiabilidad y utilidad clínica de la CIE-11 en comparación con la CIE-10. A pesar del extenso proceso de revisión, los cambios de la CIE-10 a la CIE-11 fueron relativamente pocos en el sentido de que ambos sistemas son categoriales y clasifican los fenómenos mentales en base a síntomas auto-reportados o que sean clínicamente observables. Se discuten otros enfoques recientes de la nosología y de la clasificación psiquiátrica (por ejemplo, basados en la neurobiología o de acuerdo a jerarquías). Para satisfacer las necesidades de diferentes grupos de usuarios, se propone expandir el enfoque gradual del diagnóstico introducido para algunas categorías diagnósticas de la CIE-11, que incluye elementos categoriales y dimensionales.Cet article propose un aperçu des évolutions entre la CIM-10 et la CIM-11 concernant la classification des troubles mentaux, comportementaux ou neurodéveloppementaux. Un nouveau chapitre, de nouvelles catégories diagnostiques, des critères diagnostiques modifiés et des étapes dimensionnelles ont été ajoutés. De plus, nous examinons les données préliminaires issues d’études de terrain d’évaluation de la CIM-11, en faveur d’une plus grande fiabilité et utilité de cette dernière comparée à la CIM-10. Les modifications de la CIM-10 vers la CIM-11 sont relativement modestes malgré une révision étendue, les deux systèmes restant catégoriels et les troubles mentaux étant classés d’après des symptômes auto-rapportés ou cliniquement observables. Nous analysons d’autres approches récentes de la nosologie et de la classification psychiatriques (selon la neurobiologie ou hiérarchiquement par exemple). Certaines catégories diagnostiques de la CIM-11 pourraient bénéficier selon nous de cette méthode progressive en incluant des éléments catégoriels et dimensionnels.

Childhood asthma is a huge global health burden. The spectrum of disease, diagnosis, and management vary depending on where children live in the world and how their community can care for them. Global improvement in diagnosis and management has been unsatisfactory, despite ever more evidence‐based guidelines. Guidelines alone are insufficient and need supplementing by government support, changes in policy, access to diagnosis and effective therapy for all children, with research to improve implementation. We propose a worldwide charter for all children with asthma, a roadmap to better education and training which can be adapted for local use. It includes access to effective basic asthma medications. It is not about new expensive medications and biologics as much can be achieved without these. If implemented carefully, the overall cost of care is likely to fall and the global future health and life chance of children with asthma will greatly improve. The key to success will be community involvement together with the local and national development of asthma champions. We call on governments, institutions, and healthcare services to support its implementation.

Purpose – this research aims to present an overview of the stakeholder management, reviewing the main models and theoretical propositions and investigating the phenomena addressed in the empirical papers on the theme.Design/methodology/approach – A bibliometric survey and sociometric analysis were undertaken considering the international and national publications related to the topic between 1980 and 2019.Originality / Value: The stakeholder approach has developed in recent years and its application is increasingly present in several areas of management, having a strong dialogue on the emerging issues of society. This study has an academic relevance advancing the dissemination of current knowledge in stakeholder theory integrating to the empirical studies.Findings – the main results were discussed in order to analyze: the variables related to stakeholder management; the stakeholder management models applied in empirical studies; the main results in studies on stakeholders’ conflict of interest; and discussions about stakeholder influence and pressure.Research implications – The research contribution consists in the elaboration of a panorama of the stakeholder management, presenting the main theoretical and empirical contributions, and the dimensions for future studies perspectives, being: i) Creation, co-creation and value distribution; ii) cooperation, involvement, and stakeholder engagement; iii) Influence of stakeholder management on performance; and iv) networks, relationships, and multi-stakeholder influences., Objetivo: a pesquisa tem como objetivo apresentar um panorama dos estudos sobre gestão de stakeholders, revisando os principais modelos e proposições teóricas e investigando os fenômenos abordados nos artigos empíricos da temática.Método: Empreendeu-se um levantamento bibliométrico e análise sociométrica das publicações internacionais e nacionais relacionadas ao tema entre 1980 e 2019.Originalidade/Relevância: a abordagem de stakeholders tem se desenvolvido nos últimos anos e sua aplicação está cada vez mais presente em diversas áreas de gestão, tendo uma forte interlocução nas questões emergentes da sociedade. International audience; Systemic corticosteroid use to manage uncontrolled asthma and its associated healthcare burden may account for important health-related adverse effects. We conducted a systematic literature review to investigate the real-world extent and burden of systemic corticosteroid use in asthma. We searched MEDLINE and Embase databases to identify English-language articles published in 2010–2017, using search terms for asthma with keywords for oral corticosteroids and systemic corticosteroids. Observational studies, prescription database analyses, economic analyses, and surveys on oral/systemic corticosteroid use in children (>5 yr old), adolescents (12–17 yr old), and adults with asthma were included. We identified and reviewed 387 full-text articles, and our review included data from 139 studies. The included studies were conducted in Europe, North America, and Asia. Overall, oral/systemic corticosteroids were commonly used for asthma management and were more frequently used in patients with severe asthma than in those with milder disease. Long-term oral/systemic corticosteroid use was, in general, less frequent than short-term use. Compared with no use, long-term and repeated short-term oral/systemic corticosteroid use were associated with an increased risk of acute and chronic adverse events, even when doses were comparatively low. Greater oral/systemic corticosteroid exposure was also associated with increased costs and healthcare resource use. This review provides a comprehensive overview of oral/systemic corticosteroid use and associated adverse events for patients with all degrees of asthma severity and exposure duration. We report that oral/systemic corticosteroid use is prevalent in asthma management, and the risks of acute and chronic complications increase with the cumulative oral corticosteroid dosage.Keywords: asthma; oral corticosteroids; sev

El presente artículo contiene la revisión de las principales áreas de estudio que se han desarrollado a lo largo de los últimos cincuenta años acerca de la obra literaria de Antonio Gala. Estos trabajos académicos han abordado las diversas facetas del autor como dramaturgo, novelista y poeta, pero también como guionista o articulista en los principales diarios nacionales. Así, en los diferentes apartados se evaluarán los aspectos más relevantes del legado literario del escritor cordobés en consonancia con la bibliografía derivada de su obra, elaborada por la comunidad académica nacional e internacional. Asimismo, completamos dicho estado de la cuestión con los desafíos y parcelas de discusión pendientes de ser abordados en el futuro. The following article performs a review of the main research areas that, over the Antonio Gala’s literary work, have been developed for the last fifty years. These academic works have explored the various facets of the author as a playwright, poet, novelist, but also as a scriptwriter and columnist in the main national newspapers. Thus, in the different sections, the most relevant aspects of Antonio Gala’s literary legacy will be evaluated in consonance with the bibliography derived from the national and international academic community. Likewise, we add to this state of the art the challenges and pending discussions to be adressed in the future.

COVID-19 vaccines are considered promising agents in the control of the pandemic. Although their safety was assessed in randomised clinical trials, severe adverse events (AEs) have been reported after large-scale administration. This study aims to evaluate thromboembolic AEs reported after vaccination in a real-world context and how they led to the interruption of vaccination campaigns. We also review the benefits and risks of the vaccines approved in the European Union and provide recommendations. A review of the literature was performed using Medline/PubMed electronic database as well as institutional and pharmacovigilance official reports. Our findings show that vaccine-induced prothrombotic immune thrombocytopenia has been suggested as a very rare AE associated with viral vector vaccines. Unusual thrombotic events combined with moderate-to-severe thrombocytopenia were reported mainly in women under 60 years of age. As safety signals emerged, Vaxzevria and Janssen´s COVID-19 vaccine campaigns have been paused while investigations proceed. On the other hand, the number of deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism reports have not increased. Post-marketing surveillance indicated that mRNA vaccines are safe and should continue to be used. The thrombotic events report rate is not increased in people over 60 years. As they are at greater risk for COVID-19 complications and death, no vaccine restrictions are recommended in this group. Risk factors for vaccine-induced prothrombotic immune thrombocytopenia should be established so that evidence-based decisions can be made. Systematic monitoring of COVID-19 vaccine safety is essential to ensure that the benefits of vaccination outweigh the risks. This document contains the analysis of the state of the art of the baseline technologies that will be used in the scope of the project. Moreover, the elicitation of the requirements coming both from the use cases and the technological partners is included. This deliverable summarizes the work that has been done in the scope of T2.1 (���Requirements Elicitation & State of the Art Analysis���). It is the third and last version of the series of deliverables of this task, whose main objective is to specify the use case scenarios, their involved datasets and their relevant user requirements, as well as the system and technical requirements that are being imposed by the platform. The purpose of this series is to track those requirements throughout the project and update them during the progress of the project. As a result, this third and last version depicts the final technical requirements that have been identified after the delivery of the first two versions of the scientific reports, providing an extended version of the user scenarios, the definition of their datasets, along with an extensive survey regarding the regulatory constraints. As mentioned in the previous versions of this deliverable, the approach that has been followed is twofold: A top-down approach has been followed with respect to the user requirements that were initially collected by the use case providers themselves, after specifying the business goals and objectives of the use case, along with a concrete definition of the scenario. In this version, additional requirements have been identified, after the successful demonstration of the initial prototype that took place during this period (January 2021 ��� June 2021), being also demonstrated in the first review of the project, gathering additional information coming from the engagement of end users of the domain that provided valuable input, which is reflected in this last version of the deliverable. Moreover, a bottom-up approach has been applied, whose objective is to additionally complement and identify/analyse the technical requirements, which have been updated with respect to the progress that has been made by the work carried out in the technical work packages, which are focusing on the platform technological needs., This deliverable is submitted to the EC, not yet approved.

Heart disease remains one of the greatest killers. In addition to genetics and traditional lifestyle risk factors, we now understand that adverse conditions during pregnancy can also increase susceptibility to cardiovascular disease in the offspring. Therefore, the mechanisms by which this occurs and possible preventative therapies are of significant contemporary interest to the cardiovascular community. A common suboptimal pregnancy condition is a sustained reduction in fetal oxygenation. Chronic fetal hypoxia results from any pregnancy with increased placental vascular resistance, such as in preeclampsia, placental infection, or maternal obesity. Chronic fetal hypoxia may also arise during pregnancy at high altitude or because of maternal respiratory disease. This article reviews the short- and long-term effects of hypoxia on the fetal cardiovascular system, and the importance of chronic fetal hypoxia in triggering a developmental origin of future heart disease in the adult progeny. The work summarizes evidence derived from human studies as well as from rodent, avian, and ovine models. There is a focus on the discovery of the molecular link between prenatal hypoxia, oxidative stress, and increased cardiovascular risk in adult offspring. Discussion of mitochondria-targeted antioxidant therapy offers potential targets for clinical intervention in human pregnancy complicated by chronic fetal hypoxia.

Resumo O objetivo deste estudo foi mapear e analisar o que vem sendo discutido nas teses e dissertações que produzem saberes relacionados com a Educação Física Escolar, inspirando-se nos pressupostos da pesquisa participante. Foi realizada uma busca no catálogo de teses e dissertações da Capes. Ao final do processo, foram selecionadas 24 pesquisas relacionadas com o tema. O material empírico foi submetido a análise temática. Os resultados evidenciaram que essas investigações foram produzidas a partir de dois temas, sendo que o primeiro engloba pesquisas participantes inspiradas em intervenções didático-pedagógicas e o segundo em pesquisas participantes que se inspiram em ações coletivas para transformar a realidade da prática político-pedagógica, na perspectiva de alcançar a justiça social. Concluímos que essas pesquisas têm sido muito potentes para evidenciar o trabalho dos professores e das professoras de Educação Física que lecionam na Educação Básica. Abstract This study aimed to map and analyze what has been discussed in theses and dissertations that produce knowledge related to School Physical Education, drawing on the assumptions of participating research. A search was carried out in the Capes’ theses and dissertations catalog. At the end of the process, 24 studies related to the topic were selected. The empirical material was submitted to thematic analysis. The results showed that these investigations were produced from two themes, the first comprising participant researches inspired by didactic-pedagogical interventions and the second by participating researches that are inspired by collective actions to transform the reality of political-pedagogical practice, with the goal of achieving social justice. We conclude that these researches have been very powerful in showing the work of Physical Education teachers who teach in Basic Education. Resumen El objetivo de este estudio fue mapear y analizar lo que se está discutiendo en las tesis y disertaciones que producen saberes relacionados con la Educación Física Escolar, a partir de los supuestos de la investigación participante. Se realizó una búsqueda en el catálogo de tesis y disertaciones de la CAPES. Al final del proceso, fueron seleccionadas 24 investigaciones relacionadas con el tema. El material empírico fue sometido a un análisis temático. Los resultados mostraron que esas investigaciones se produjeron a partir de dos temas, donde el primero engloba investigaciones participantes inspiradas en intervenciones didáctico-pedagógicas y el segundo se centra en investigaciones participantes inspiradas en acciones colectivas para transformar la realidad de la práctica político-pedagógica buscando alcanzar la justicia social. Concluimos que esas investigaciones han sido muy potentes para evidenciar el trabajo de los profesores y profesoras de Educación Física en la Educación Básica.

Mathematical modelling is increasingly used to inform budgeting and strategic decision-making by national TB programmes. Despite the importance of these decisions, there is currently no mechanism to review and confirm the appropriateness of modelling analyses. We have developed a benchmarking, reporting, and review (BRR) approach and accompanying tools to allow constructive review of country-level TB modelling applications. This approach has been piloted in five modelling applications and the results of this study have been used to revise and finalise the approach. The BRR approach consists of 1) quantitative benchmarks against which model assumptions and results can be compared, 2) standardised reporting templates and review criteria, and 3) a multi-stage review process providing feedback to modellers during the application, as well as a summary evaluation after completion. During the pilot, use of the tools prompted important changes in the approaches taken to modelling. The pilot also identified issues beyond the scope of a review mechanism, such as a lack of empirical evidence and capacity constraints. This approach provides independent evaluation of the appropriateness of modelling decisions during the course of an application, allowing meaningful changes to be made before results are used to inform decision-making. The use of these tools can improve the quality and transparency of country-level TB modelling applications.

Este artigo resulta da pesquisa de doutorado em desenvolvimento sobre propostas interdisciplinares para a Educação Infantil (EI) voltadas à promoção da Alfabetização Científica (AC). O objetivo é apresentar o mapeamento de trabalhos produzido sobre os temas, utilizando diferentes descritores e períodos, com consulta ao repositório de trabalhos da Capes, denominado de Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações (BDTD) (2000–2018), aos artigos publicados na revista Ensaio – Pesquisa em Educação em Ciências (Revista Ensaio) (2015–2019) e trabalhos em quatro edições do Encontro Nacional de Pesquisa em Educação em Ciências (ENPEC) (2011–2017). A pesquisa de abordagem bibliográfica selecionou 23 trabalhos, sendo três na BDTD, um na Revista Ensaio e 19 nos anais do ENPEC, evidenciando que as áreas pesquisadas são incipientes nas bases de dados, mas trazem contribuições significativas para a promoção da AC. This article is the result of a doctoral research under development on interdisciplinary proposals for Early Childhood Education (ECE) aimed at promoting Scientific Literacy (SL). The objective is to present the mapping of works produced on the themes, using different descriptors and periods, consulting the Capes Directory of Open Access Repositories, called the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD) (2000–2018), articles published in the periodical Ensaio – Pesquisa em Educação em Ciências (Revista Ensaio) (2015–2019) and presentations in four editions of the National Research Meeting in Education in Sciences (ENPEC) (2011–2017). The research of bibliographic approach selected 23 papers, three of them are from BDTD , one is from Revista Ensaio, and nineteen are from ENPEC studies, showing that the researched areas are incipient in the databases, however they present significant contributions to the promotion of SL.
