The optimal cutoff point for tumor length and width were determined by R package. We identified prognostic factors by univariate and multivariate Cox proportional-hazard regression, then built a nomogram to visualize the prediction model. Our model was compared to the 2018 FIGO staging prediction model. Harrellâs concordance index, receiver operating characteristic curve, calibration plot were used to evaluate the discriminability and accuracy of the predictive models, and decision curve analysis (DCA) was used to show the net benefits. Results: Data from 469 patients were included in the final analyses. The cutoff values of tumor length and width were 5.10 cm and 4.13 cm, respectively. Four independent prognostic variablesâtumor length, tumor width, lower one-third vaginal involvement, and lymph node metastasesâwere used to establish the nomogram. The C-index of the nomogram was 0.71 (95%, CI = 0.66â 0.77), which was better than that of the 2018 FIGO stage prediction model (C-index: 0.62, 95% CI = 0.58â 0.66, p = 0.009). The calibration plot of the nomogram was a good fit for both 3-year and 5-year overall survival predictions. And DCA curves showed that net benefits for our model were higher than FIGO-2018 staging system. Conclusion: A clinically useful nomogram for calculating overall survival probability in FIGO-2018 II to III squamous cell cervical cancer patients who had received radical radiotherapy was developed. Tumor length, tumor width, lower one-third vaginal involvement, and lymph node metastases were found to be independent prognostic factors. Our model performed better than the 2018 FIGO staging model. The findings could help clinicians in China to predict the survival of these patients in clinical care and research. Keywords: cervical carcinoma, overall survival, radiotherapy, nomogram

Hybrid tree harvester with a 60 kW diesel engine combined with a battery pile could be a “green” forest harvesting and transportation system. With the new design, the diesel engine maintains a constant engine speed, keeping fuel consumption low while charging the batteries that drive the forwarder. As an additional energy saving method, the electric motors work as generators to charge the battery pile when the vehicle moves downhill. The vehicle is equipped with six large wheels providing high clearance over uneven terrain while reducing ground pressure. Each wheel is driven via a hub gear by its own alternating current motor, and each of the three wheel pairs can be steered independently. The combination of the diesel engine and six electric motors provides plenty of power for heavy lifting and pulling. The main component parameters of the drive system are calculated and optimized with a set of dynamics and simulated with AVL Cruise software. The results provide practical insights for the fuel tree harvester and are helpful to reduce the structure and size of the tree harvester. The technique of the Linear FM was proposed to solve the problem of the inter-symbol interference in this paper. For comparing with other modulation technique, we analyze the BER, and present the simulation results. The theoretical prediction and the simulation results indicate that the Linear FM is very useful to depress the inter-symbol interference The high transmitting speed is holding in some areas where the average of the multi-path time dispersion is larger. Merits of the Linear FM are that it is not necessary to have an equalizer or the spread spectrum modulation.

The multimedia intelligent tutoring system for Chinese characters (CMITS) developed by us is a kind of microcomputer-oriented multimedia tutoring software. It has the following function: to teach the writing of Chinese characters based on the order of strokes observed in calligraphy, Chinese phonetics, word formation and explanation of the Chinese character, etc.; and to analyze and evaluate students' study status to guide students in error correction. This software is intelligent. In CMITS, pronunciation, graphs, images, text and data been integrated using the multimedia technique. CMITS provides a vivid and flexible user interface and rich studying environment through hypertext. >

A personalized intelligent and interactive learning environment suitable for the personal aptitude of a distance learner can give better play to the learner's special skills and abilities and help him improve the efficiency of his learning activities. But unfortunately, existing learning systems have some defects in the way learning resources are organized and do not support personalized learning. The paper, which centers on how to provide the learner with a personalized intelligent and interactive learning environment, discusses the construction of learning resources, user model, and a resource agent (RAGENT), which has been built for the tuneup and integration of Web resources to meet learner's personalized expectation on Web based learning.
