Objective To explore the association between circadian syndrome (CircS) and the prevalence of kidney stones in overweight people. Materials and methods A cross-sectional analysis was conducted based on the NHANES 2007–2018. Overweight people aged ≥ 20 years were the target population. Three multivariable logistic regression models were built to examine the association between CircS and kidney stones. Subgroup analysis based on age, gender, and race were also employed. Interaction and stratification analysis was also conducted to identify whether some factors modify the association. Result A total of 4,603 overweight participants were included in the study. The multivariable logistic regression suggested that CircS was positively associated with the prevalence of kidney stones (OR = 1.422, 95% CI 1.057 to 1.912). The subgroup analysis showed that the association was more obvious in females (OR = 1.604, 95% CI 1.023 to 2.516) or in the population aged 35 to 49 years old (OR = 2.739, 95% CI 1.428 to 5.254). Additionally, the same trend was present when people were Mexican American (OR = 3.834, 95% CI 1.790 to 8.215) or other races (OR = 4.925, 95% CI 1.776 to 13.656). The interaction and stratification analysis showed that the results above were robust. Conclusion CircS was positively associated with the prevalence of kidney stones in overweight people, especially people as females, aged 35 to 49, and Mexican Americans.

ObjectiveThe objective of this study is to explore the association between the prevalence rates of circadian syndrome (CircS) and testosterone deficiency (TD).Materials and methodsCross-sectional analysis was conducted on the basis of the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey 2011–2016. The target population was males aged ≥20 years old. A total of three multivariable logistic regression models were built to elucidate the association between the prevalence rates of CircS and TD. Interactive and stratified analyses were employed to explore whether some variables can modify the above association. Sensitivity analyses were also conducted to verify the stability of the results with extreme values removed.ResultsA total of 3,436 eligible participants were involved. Multivariable logistic regression in the fully adjusted model suggested the CircS group had a significantly higher prevalence rate of TD compared with the non-CircS group (OR = 2.284, 95%CI 1.569 to 3.323). No significant correlation between the number of CircS components and TD was observed in any of the three models. The interactive and stratified analyses showed the association was more obvious in the population with moderate or vigorous activities. The results were robust after extreme data were excluded.ConclusionThere is a positive association between the prevalence rates of CircS and TD in US men. The association becomes more obvious owing to moderate or vigorous activities.

Taking a (130+1060+90)m railway suspension bridge as the research object, and taking the track-beam foundation model as the core, a simulation model of the coupling between the large span suspension bridge and the double track is constructed, including steel truss girder, main cable, suspender, orthotropic steel bridge deck, concrete bridge tower and track structure. The distribution law of the stress and deformation of the rail under the effect of temperature load, vertical load and braking load is revealed. The main conclusions are as follows: in order to optimize the stress and deformation of the rail, it can be considered to arrange the rail expansion regulator on the bridge. Setting the regulator at both ends of the steel truss girder of the bridge can significantly reduce the extreme value of rail stress and deformation; when the two lines are loaded simultaneously, the vertical deformation of the rail in the middle of the main girder reaches 2m. In this case, the bending force is the load that needs to be calculated more than the expansion force.

PurposeTo explore the association between Healthy Eating Index (HEI)-2015 and kidney stones in an American adult population.Materials and MethodsNational Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) datasets from 2007 to 2018 were used. Participants aged ≥ 20 years who reported kidney stone history and dietary recall were included. Weighted proportions, multivariable analysis and spline smoothing were used to evaluate the associations between HEI-2015 and nephrolithiasis by adjusting gender, age, race, poverty income ratio, body mass index, education level, marital status, smoking, alcohol intake, energy level, vigorous activity, moderate activity, and some comorbidities.ResultsTotally 30 368 American adults were included, with weighted mean age [standard deviation (SD)] of 47.69 (16.85) years. The overall mean HEI-2015 score (SD) was 50.82 (13.80). In the fully-adjusted multivariable model, HEI-2015 was negatively correlated with urolithiasis [odds ratio (OR) = 0.991; 95% confidence interval (CI) 0.988 to 0.994]. Compared with the first quartile of HEI-2015, the population in the fourth quartile of HEI-2015 had a lower prevalence of kidney stones (OR = 0.716; 95% CI 0.635 to 0.807). The association was modified by education and vigorous activity.ConclusionsHEI-2015 is inversely associated with the prevalence of kidney stones, which means better diet quality is associated with a lower risk of nephrolithiasis.

Elderly patients with systemic disseminated Penicillium marneffei are generally more seriously ill with high mortality. In addition to clear diagnosis and timely treatment, careful nursing throughout the hospitalization is particularly important for the patient’s recovery. Psychological nursing and family emotional support, the treatment of adverse drug reactions, systemic infection wound care, the prevention of pressure sores in long-term bedridden patients, antithrombotic nursing, disinfection isolation and the standard prevention of nosocomial cross infection all play decisive roles in the patient’s prognosis. After one month treatment and medical care, the patient was cured and was discharged from hospital. After discharge, the patient follow-up was carried out up to one year. This patient had completely recovered. In this paper, we report a successful nursing experience of an elderly patient with systemic disseminated Penicillium marneffei. With the summary of nursing key points, it could play a reference in the treatment and rehabilitation of similar patients.

To determine whether urine cobalt is associated with the prevalence of kidney stones. We conducted a cross-sectional study of participants (≥ 20 years) involved in the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) between 2007 and 2018. Urine cobalt level was divided into four groups: 0.02–0.22, 0.22–0.36, 0.36–0.58 and 0.58–37.40 ug/L. The independent correlation between urine cobalt and prevalence of kidney stones was determined by logistic regression analyses. Totally 10,744 participants aged over 20 years without pregnancy were eligible. Among them, 1,041 participants reported as ever having developed kidney stones. Patients with kidney stones developed significantly higher urine cobalt than the non-stone participants. The kidney stone patients were more likely to have smoking ≥ 100 cigarettes in life, hypertension, diabetes, cancer, and heavy activity. Multivariate logistic regression indicated a significantly positive relationship between urine cobalt level and occurrence of kidney stones (OR 1.059, 95%CI 1.018–1.102). Moreover, the outcome remained unchanged after some sophisticated factors were adjusted (OR 1.048, 95%CI 1.005–1.093), and the incidence of kidney stones rose with the increasing urine cobalt level [OR (95%CI) = 0.22–0.36 ug/L: 1.166 (0.955–1.422); 0.36–0.58 ug/L: 1.348 (1.108–1.640); 0.58–37.40 ug/L: 1.683 (1.382–2.044)]. Higher urine cobalt concentration is significantly related to an increased risk of kidney stones. However, more high-quality prospective studies are needed to elucidate the causal correlation between cobalt level and kidney stones.

So, urine Co concentration is positively associated with the prevalence of kidney stones. However, more high-quality prospective studies are needed to elucidate the causal correlation between Co level and kidney stones.

With the development of information technology, light emitting diode (LED) display screen is widely used in many fields of production and life, such as bus stop reporting, road condition indicator board, building lighting, traffic signal light and KTV music wall. The frequency domain analysis of signal provides a new analysis method for studying the function and characteristics of signal, which is widely used in scientific research and production practice. The emergence of DSP chip and fast Fourier transform (FFT) algorithm provide a unified, economic and monolithic solution for signal frequency domain analysis. Taking the music signal as an example, this paper designs a set of music spectrum display based on LED lattice, so that people can have a more in-depth understanding of the time-domain and frequency-domain representation of the audio signal. In this design, STC12C5A60S2 is used as the processing chip, combined with audio input, sampling, FFT algorithm, A/D conversion, LED display and other functional modules, based on hardware design and software design as the core, to complete the LED display of audio signal spectrum. Through the system function test, the system runs stably, can display the spectrum and its changes of music signal accurately in real time, and meets the expected design requirements.

This paper investigates the dynamic positioning (DP) control problem of marine surface vessels (MSVs) suffering from external perturbations and input saturation. The linear Matrix Inequalities (LMI) based guaranteed cost control scheme is designed to obtain the satisfaction of the preset performance indicators. Aiming towards this purpose, the mathematical model of the MSV is first translated into a novel state-and-parameter-dependent (SPD) structure under small yaw angle variation. Furthermore, the performance indicator of the control scheme is derived for robustness against disturbances. With the application of LMI analysis method, the performance function will be transformed to a matrix inequality. Then, input saturation constraints are imposed to the control input, which will also be treated as a matrix inequality. Eventually, theoretical analysis shows that asymptotic stability will be endowed to the closed-loop system and input saturation constraints are also satisfied. Numerical simulation results are presented to demonstrate the advantage and validity of the proposed controller.

The size of cochlear nerve (CN) is atrophic in adult auditory neuropathy spectrum disorder (ANSD) patients compared with non-ANSD sensorineural hearing loss (SNHL) patients and normal hearing subjects, and CN deficiency is one of the lesions for ANSD patients.To evaluate the dimensions of CN in adult ANSD patients on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and confirm the hypothesis that CN deficiency is one of the lesions for ANSD patients.Medical records and MRI of 24 adult ANSD patients reviewed retrospectively and 20 non-ANSD SNHL and 24 volunteers with normal hearing were recruited as control groups. The long diameter (LD), short diameter (SD), and cross-sectional area (CSA) of CN and facial nerve (FN) were measured.Among the 24 ANSD patients, this study was able to reconstruct and measure the CN of 91.7% (22/24, total 43 ears) of patients and FN of 83.3% (20/24, total 38 ears) of patients. The mean values and standard deviations of LD, SD, and CSA of CN in ANSD patients were 0.65 ± 0.20 mm, 0.44 ± 0.15 mm, and 0.30 ± 0.19 mm(2), respectively. They were significantly smaller in ANSD patients than in control groups (p 0.001).

The complexity of near surface intensifies the diversity of seismic wave fields, which makes study on near surface wavefields important in many aspects. The strong absorption of low velocity layer can affect the resolution of seismic data, and free boundary can cause surface wave. Considering the above problems, we focus on the Rayleigh wavefields simulation using finite-difference wave equation of higher-order staggered grids and PML boundary conditions. Free boundary, buried source and overlying low velocity layer are taken into consideration and point explosion source is adopted. Through some numerical simulation with different parameters, we quantitatively analyze relationship between wave intensity and source depth, as well as the energy variation with propagation and obtain some practical knowledge and conclusions.

The stability problem is a very important aspect in seismic wave numerical modeling. Based on the theory of seismic waves and constitutive equations of viscoelastic models, the stability problems of finite difference scheme for Kelvin-Voigt and Maxwell models with rectangular grids are analyzed. Expressions of stability conditions with arbitrary spatial accuracies for two viscoelastic models are derived. With approximation of quality factor Q≥5, simplified expressions are developed and some numerical models are given to verify the validity of the corresponding theoretical results. Then this paper summarizes the influences of seismic wave velocity, frequency, size of grid and difference coefficients, as well as quality factor on stability condition. Finally the prerequisite conditions of the simplified stability equations are given with error analysis.

Room-temperature ionic liquids (ILs) have been demonstrated to absorb SO(2) efficiently. However, after absorbing a large amount of SO(2), the viscosity, the conductivity, and the density of the ILs have not been studied systematically, and the mechanism of the interaction between SO(2) and ILs is still being disputed. In this work, two kinds of ILs (task-specific ILs and normal ILs) have been studied to absorb pure SO(2) at atmospheric pressure. It is found that the viscosity, the conductivity, and the density show different behaviors between task-specific ILs and normal ILs. For the task-specific ILs to absorb SO(2), before a 0.5 mol ratio of SO(2) to IL, the viscosity and density increase, and the conductivity decreases with an increase of the mole ratio of SO(2) to IL. After that, the conductivity and density increase, and the viscosity decreases with further increasing the mole ratio of SO(2) to IL. However, for the normal ILs, the conductivity and density increase and the viscosity decreases with an increase of the mole ratio of SO(2) to IL. A new mechanism of ILs absorbing SO(2) has been proposed. Task-specific ILs can chemically absorb SO(2) when the mole ratio of SO(2) to IL is not more than 0.5, and they can physically absorb SO(2) when the mole ratio is more than 0.5. The normal ILs can only physically absorb SO(2).
