Previous studies have focused on the reduction effect of regulation-based instruments and economic-based instruments on air pollution, ignoring the importance of environmental information disclosure. Based on the Ambient Air Quality Standards (AAQS), a quasi-natural policy implemented in 2012, this paper assesses the effect of environmental information disclosure on air pollution through a dynamic spatial difference-in-difference (DID) model using panel data of 269 cities from 2006 to 2017 in China. We find that the implementation of the AAQS results in a 3% reduction of local PM2.5 concentration and a 3.3% reduction of PM2.5 concentration in the surrounding cities. Further analysis suggests that environmental information disclosure reduces air pollution through enhancing public environmental concerns, green innovation, and industrial upgrading. We also explore the moderating effect of government environmental regulation and heterogeneity analysis in different regions. Our findings suggest that government should further develop the scope and quality of environmental quality information disclosure. Moreover, the local government should provide more support for the green transformation of enterprises and provide necessary support during the transition period. In addition, long-term sustainable environmental protection policies must be able to mobilize regional initiatives for green development. Advanced deep Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) have shown great success in video-based person Re-Identification (Re-ID). However, they usually focus on the most obvious regions of persons with a limited global representation ability. Recently, it witnesses that Transformers explore the inter-patch relations with global observations for performance improvements. In this work, we take both sides and propose a novel spatial-temporal complementary learning framework named Deeply-Coupled Convolution-Transformer (DCCT) for high-performance video-based person Re-ID. Firstly, we couple CNNs and Transformers to extract two kinds of visual features and experimentally verify their complementarity. Further, in spatial, we propose a Complementary Content Attention (CCA) to take advantages of the coupled structure and guide independent features for spatial complementary learning. In temporal, a Hierarchical Temporal Aggregation (HTA) is proposed to progressively capture the inter-frame dependencies and encode temporal information. Besides, a gated attention is utilized to deliver aggregated temporal information into the CNN and Transformer branches for temporal complementary learning. Finally, we introduce a self-distillation training strategy to transfer the superior spatial-temporal knowledge to backbone networks for higher accuracy and more efficiency. In this way, two kinds of typical features from same videos are integrated mechanically for more informative representations. Hardware supply-chain attacks are raising significant security threats to the boot process of multiprocessor systems. This paper identifies a new, prevalent hardware supply-chain attack surface that can bypass multiprocessor secure boot due to the absence of processor-authentication mechanisms. To defend against such attacks, we present PA-Boot, the first formally verified processor-authentication protocol for secure boot in multiprocessor systems. PA-Boot is proved functionally correct and is guaranteed to detect multiple adversarial behaviors, e.g., processor replacements, man-in-the-middle attacks, and tampering with certificates. The fine-grained formalization of PA-Boot and its fully mechanized security proofs are carried out in the Isabelle/HOL theorem prover with 306 lemmas/theorems and ~7,100 LoC. Video-based person re-identification (Re-ID) aims to retrieve video sequences of the same person under non-overlapping cameras. Previous methods usually focus on limited views, such as spatial, temporal or spatial-temporal view, which lack of the observations in different feature domains. To capture richer perceptions and extract more comprehensive video representations, in this paper we propose a novel framework named Trigeminal Transformers (TMT) for video-based person Re-ID. More specifically, we design a trigeminal feature extractor to jointly transform raw video data into spatial, temporal and spatial-temporal domain. Besides, inspired by the great success of vision transformer, we introduce the transformer structure for video-based person Re-ID. In our work, three self-view transformers are proposed to exploit the relationships between local features for information enhancement in spatial, temporal and spatial-temporal domains. Moreover, a cross-view transformer is proposed to aggregate the multi-view features for comprehensive video representations. The experimental results indicate that our approach can achieve better performance than other state-of-the-art approaches on public Re-ID benchmarks. First-order magnetic transitions are of both fundamental and technological interest given that a number of emergent phases and functionalities are thereby created. Of particular interest are giant magnetocaloric effects, which are attributed to first-order magnetic transitions and have attracted broad attention for solid-state refrigeration applications. While the conventional wisdom is that atomic lattices play an important role in first-order magnetic transitions, a coherent microscopic description of the lattice and spin degrees of freedom is still lacking. Here, we study the magnetic phase transition dynamics on the intermetallic LaFe13-xSix, which is one of the most classical giant magnetocaloric systems, in both frequency and time domains utilizing neutron scattering and ultrafast X-ray diffraction. We have observed a strong magnetic diffuse scattering in the paramagnetic state preceding the first-order magnetic transition, corresponding to picosecond ferromagnetic fluctuations. Upon photon-excitation, the ferromagnetic state is completely suppressed in 0.9 ps and recovered in 20 ps. The ultrafast dynamics suggest that the magnetic degree of freedom dominates this magnetoelastic transition and ferromagnetic fluctuations might be universally relevant for this kind of compounds., Comment: 5 figures in the main text, plus supplementary information

In terms of current life style, living and production conditions and hygienic and educational condition, we select 8 indices, such as annual net income of farmers per capita, annual grain yield per capita, total power of agricultural machinery per capita, dropout rate of school children and so on, to establish index system of determining me poor village in North Jiangsu By selecting Lianqun Village in Suining County of Xuzhou City, Mawa Village in Siyang County of Suqian City, Chuanxing Village in Guanyun County of Lianyungang City, Xiaozhu Village in Hongze County of Huai’an City, Fengda Village in Xiangshui County of Yancheng City as the representative villages, after the discussion and consultation of the masses and the village cadres of ail village, we get the measuring results of weight. Through the field survey, investigation and interview in the selected regions, we get the relevant data, and then we conduct standardization processing, so as to get the index value that can comprehensively reflect the characteristics of poverty According to the index data that have been standardized, by using participatory poverty index formula for calculation, we get the values that can explain the poverty degree of the respondents. We sequence the representative poor village in this region according to the poverty degree from high to low, and the result is as follows: Mawa Village, ianqun Village, Chuanxing Village, Xiaozhu Village, and Fengda Village. It indicates that in terms of the operability of theory and technique, the participatory poverty index can better recognize the poor villages, so that it lays solid foundation for rationally and effectively using the limited poverty alleviation resources.
