Compared with common image segmentation tasks targeted at low-resolution images, higher resolution detailed image segmentation receives much less attention. In this paper, we propose and study a task named Meticulous Object Segmentation (MOS), which is focused on segmenting well-defined foreground objects with elaborate shapes in high resolution images (e.g. 2k - 4k). To this end, we propose the MeticulousNet which leverages a dedicated decoder to capture the object boundary details. Specifically, we design a Hierarchical Point-wise Refining (HierPR) block to better delineate object boundaries, and reformulate the decoding process as a recursive coarse to fine refinement of the object mask. To evaluate segmentation quality near object boundaries, we propose the Meticulosity Quality (MQ) score considering both the mask coverage and boundary precision. In addition, we collect a MOS benchmark dataset including 600 high quality images with complex objects. We provide comprehensive empirical evidence showing that MeticulousNet can reveal pixel-accurate segmentation boundaries and is superior to state-of-the-art methods for high resolution object segmentation tasks.

Circulating fluidized bed combustion ash (CFBC ash) is the waste of coal-fired circulating fluidized bed power plant boiler. CFBC ash contains amounts of free lime and anhydrite, which has a self-hardening and expansion property. This paper studies the influence of CFBC ash fineness and lime or slaked lime dosage on the physical properties, strength and phase evolution of binary cementitious materials (lime or slaked lime-CFBC ash). The experimental results show that when lime or slaked lime dosage is below 30%, through CFBC ash getting finer, setting time of binary cementitious materials becomes shorter and compressive strength of that increases, but water requirement of normal consistency of that decreases to some extent. And when CFBC ash fineness is constant, with the increment of lime dosage, setting time of binary cementitious materials becomes shorter and water requirement of normal consistency of that increases, but compressive strength of that declines first and then increases. But when CFBC ash fineness is constant, with the increment of slaked lime dosage, setting time of binary cementitious materials becomes longer and compressive strength of that declines, but water requirement of normal consistency of that increases.

One of the main topics of slope stability analysis is to determine the safety factor of sliding surface. In this paper, firstly, the basic principle of finite element strength reduction method is introduced. Then the slope stability is analyzed by the finite element strength reduction method, discontinuous deformation strength reduction method and Spencer method respectively. The results show that the error between them is less than 2%, which indicates that the finite element strength reduction method can be applied to the engineering practice.

Algorithm of phasor circle model, a fault modeling on complex plane for fault dictionary in time domain analysis of linear analog circuit, is presents. The proposed algorithm achieved to characterize all potential fault status of each component with a circle on complex plane, using a voltage measurement approach on the only output node, and the unified mathematical formula of all complex circle is also presented with the parameters of center coordinate and radius. Furthermore, an approach of design for testability is discussed to minimize the ambiguous group. This algorithm can be used for identifying both soft fault and hard fault. Finally, an example circuit is presented to verify the efficient of the proposed algorithm.

This paper presents a method to assess the environment factor, which is used to discount data at accelerated operating condition into data at normal condition. This method combines degradation data with reaction rate model, considers the interior relationship between environment stress and product's degradation rate, which not only cut down the amount of work, but also can predict environment factor at some other stress. An approach based on the ratio of performance degradation rate is proposed to validate the results, and the effectiveness of proposed method is demonstrated by the example of carbon-film resistors.
