We reported an experimental and theoretical study on the promotion role of F doping in the improved catalytic performance of fluorinated graphene(F-GO) for ammonium perchlorate (AP) pyrolysis. F-GO was prepared by using graphite oxide (GO) as carbon sources and CF3COOH as fluorinating agent. Compared with other samples, the F-GO-180 with the highest F doping amounts, more C-F semi-ionic and C-F covalent bond amounts exhibit superior catalytic performance, as 10 wt% of catalyst added in AP, the exothermic peak temperature proceeded in just one step was even lower than the HTD peak temperature for pure AP and the released apparent specific heat of the thermal decomposition of AP catalyzed by F-GO-180 is 4261.2 J/g, which is almost sevenfold of that of pure AP (603.5 J/g). The doping of F atoms in graphene increased surface defects and the content of C-F semi-ionic and C-F covalent bond amounts of F-GO, which provided more active sites during the thermal decomposition of AP. The molecular simulation calculation results further confirmed that the F doping could react with the defect structure of graphene to form more C-F semi-ionic and C-F covalent bond, which could act as catalytic active sites and facilitate the electron transfer ability of the graphene to promote the formation of free radicals in the reaction.

Tuberculosis is one of the serious illness in the world. This disease still prevalent in underdeveloped and developing countries. To screen tuberculosis, chest X-ray (CXR) and sputum smear have been used widely. Traditionally, both methods have to be managed by doctors and technicians. To improve the effectiveness of loading of mass CXR interpretation sputum smear reading, we therefore developed an algorithm with the aid of artificial Intelligence (AI). We converted CXR and sputum smear into digital images. Subsequently, using image processing methods, Chest X-Ray (CXR) and sputum smear images automatically read. In this abstract, we only report the CXR reading with custom- designed AI analysis algorithm. The tuberculosis infection usually will result in some white dots in CXR. Caffe Frame work with GoogLeNet Network were used to create a model for CXR classification. The datasets were formed by normal CXR, Tuberculosis Suspect CXR and plural effusion CXR images. The GoogLeNet network accuracy was 98.39%. coreML tools was used to convert the Caffe model into coreML model for IOS mobile App. IOS mobile app successfully classified CXR image on IOS devices.

MicroRNA (miRNA) is a class of important regulating non-coding small molecular RNA. The gma-MIR166 gene family consists of 21 members and their expression patterns diversify widely. It is important to analyze the evolution of gma-MIR166 gene family in order to understand the evolutionary mechanisms of miRNAs in soybean. In this study, we implemented soybean wide genome block analysis, the molecular phylogeny of gma-MIR166 and block analysis of gma-MIR166 family. The results showed that both chromosome big segmental duplications and tandem duplications were main reasons contributed to the expanding of gma-MIR166 gene family. These findings suggested that gma-MIR166 gene family might originate from one or two ancient miRNA genes. The results of research provided a support for evolutionary study of miRNAs in soybean and related species in Fabaceae.

Recently, social welfare concept is the most important thing to be improved in society, especially for body and mind health. Controlling both of these aspects should get top priority in terms of service from a related institution which has the duty to handle the society. A lot of real case in the field still have a problem such time delay that mainly caused by the limited human resources. In fact, many people become worse and must be rushed to the hospital. According to these circumstances, we provided Arduino chip module that had expandability function to the smart handheld device. This device has the great characteristic which is a light and small size that equipped with heart rate (HR) sensor in this embedded chip Arduino module and then capable to communicate with the integration of wireless Bluetooth transmission. By using this module, people be able to care and do real-time monitor in their daily health even though they are an as disabled situation. For the case study of medical rehabilitation can offer the related data to diagnose and adjust the case health exact situation for doctors.

In modern day societies, children sometimes are taking care by the housemaid, and the parent needs to monitor the house from their office. This paper presents the image tracking surveillance system which can be used to monitor and care for infants and young children. We used a grayscale image from 0 to 255. The proposed algorithm is Binary Thresholding where each pixel of the image is compared with the threshold value. We set the threshold to black in order to reduce the complexity of image information. Thus, the image can be established by background subtraction method. The tracking mechanism will start using temporal difference and object segmentation that carries out of dynamic Image Tracing. If the tracking object is beyond the warning range so the system will take the initiative to issue a warning. The future can be through the cloud server for a huge amount of image analysis, and establish to the multi-user remote monitoring function.

The future of development trend for the automobile industry, mainly import Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) technology to replace the human decision and guidance. Moreover, the integration of automotive function can achieve automation system and intelligent vehicle. In this paper, we introduce the assistance system function using image processing to provide the real-time monitoring system for parking. The relevant parameters are detected, decided, and processed for producing the correspondence action through the assistance system. We designed a complete set of traffic video systems by using a single or multiple CAMERAs for getting analog images, image recognition, and estimation of vehicle trajectory techniques. In the experimental results, the OTSU method is implanted into the ring image system, and according to different weather and environmental conditions. The OTSU method is effectively transformed into dynamic environment brightness value analysis and modulation, especially for the ups and downs of the environment without changing the brightness. The system can provide multi-screen image processing, so that the screen shows a more realistic picture, and enhance the ability to determine the image and shorten the driving decision time. These features will improve the safety of driving.

The EEG signal was the signal that represents brain activity. Usually, there two kind measurements to get the EEG; invasive method and non-invasive method. The EEG signal is not only used by the doctors but also used by the engineer to do a research. BCI (brain computer interface) was used by the engineer to get the EEG data from a human head. The EOG (electrooculogram) was produced when eye blink. The EOG signals are one of signal that forms EEG signals. This research implemented eye blink as a command to turn on and turn off motor through wireless communication. In the future, this EEG signal will use to control wheel chair to help disability people who cannot use their hand or legs. This research used NeuroSky MindWave to record EEG signal, myRIO to control dc motor and LabVIEW to the program. To control the dc motor, the command double eye blink and triple eye blink was used. in its style sheet.

When UV-Nanoimprint Lithography(NIL) is used in manufacturing gratings of Distributed Feedback Laser Diodes(DFB LDs),the resist often turns into a high polymer after curing and can not be eliminated completely.To eliminate the residual resist,a multi-mask layer process was demonstrated.In this process,a 50 nm SiO2 hard mask was deposited between the wafer and the UV-curable resist and then traditional nanoimprint lithography based on soft stamp UV-imprinting was executed.Following that,the Inductively Coupled Plasma(ICP) dry etching was used to transfer the pattern on the substrate.Finally,it was rinsed with Buffered Oxide Etchant(BOE)for a few seconds.The effect of etching time on the duty ratio of grating was explored and the grating morphologies processed by traditional method and proposed method were compared.A scanning electron microscope image of rinsed grating shows that the grating with about 240 nm pitch and 82 nm depth offers a clean surface and a good feature.Therefore.The proposed method not only can eliminate the residual resist effectively but also can avoid the morphologic damage.

In recent years,all-solid-state passively Q-switched laser technology gets a rapid progress in obtaining picosecond pulses.Comparing with mode-locked lasers with complicated structure,sensitive and difficult alignment,these Q-switched picosecond lasers show great practical potentials for their characters of low cost,simple structure and easy alignment.These Q-switched lasers can provide picosecond pulses with considerable energy,and with the advantage of adjustable pulse repetition rate.In this paper,two existing passively Q-switched picosecond laser approaches,namely,Cr∶YAG microchip lasers,semiconductor saturable absorber mirror(SESAM) microchip lasers,are discussed accompany with the consideration of further treatment to the latter one by nonlinear optical processing and amplification,which are introduced to get narrower pulse width and higher pulse energy.In two categories,we review remarkable work in this field along with breakthroughs of them.

We propose a new ptychographical imaging algorithm based on illuminating beam cooperating with rotational phase encoding. Compared with the traditional ptychographical imaging, the proposed algorithm has a diffractive wave front that is encoded with the uniform phase modulator in a block. It leads to the faster convergent speed for the iterative algorithm of the ptychographical imaging. The illuminating method can present fantastic robustness to resist bad influences brought by the noise and transverse shift of probes. Compared with the random phase modulator, the rotated phase modulator introduced into our algorithm is convenient to be fabricated and located into the real configuration. Therefore, the proposed algorithm has a good value in practical applications such as real-time microscopy and superresolution imaging.

Background Rosiglitazone, an important Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-γ (PPAR-γ) agonist, improves left ventricular hypertrophy in diet-induced hypercholesterolemic rats. However, the effects of rosiglitazone on cardiac remodelling in spontaneous hypertension rats are unclear. Methods 20 male 8-week-old SHRs were randomly divided into two groups: one treated with oral saline (n=10) and the other treated with rosiglitazone (5 mg/kg/d) (n=10), compared with ten age-matched Wistar-Kyoto (WKY) rats as a control group. Echocardiography, immunohistochemistry, real-time RT-PCR, co-immunoprecipitation, and Western blot analysis were performed to assess the effects of rosiglitazone. Results After 16 weeks of treatment, rosiglitazone decreased left ventricular weight (LVW) to body weight (BW) ratio (2.35±0.11 vs 2.56±0.14 mg/g, p Conclusion These results suggest that treatment with rosiglitazone will improve myocardial remodelling in hypertension. Taken together, PPAR-γ agonist rosiglitazone may exert a protective effect on cardiac remodelling in SHRs by decreasing the expression of AP-1 and NF-κB.
