The Brazilian energy sector adopted a new regulation system in 2015 due to a system collapse threat. The system was changed to contractually incorporate firms’ economic-financial monitoring. This paper aims to assess the progress of this monitoring model toward achieving its goals. Thus, we proceed with a triangulation with three analyses. First, we analyse the literature to indicate if the economic-financial monitoring shows a hybrid form of adoption as suggested by the literature as the most suitable towards achieving regulatory goals. Second, we verify the perception of the economic-financial monitoring efficiency by the regulatory agency. Third, we evaluate the behaviour of some financial indicators before and after the new regulation. Our results show that, first, the economic-financial monitoring adopts a hybrid form which may drives better monitoring. Second, the perception of the regulator regarding efficiency of the financial monitoring model is favourable. Third, our results show that the sector leverage and profitability variances were significantly reduced after the implementation of financial monitoring which indicates less Asymmetric Information and consequently, better monitoring. In general, our results indicate some uncertainty reduction and more uniform behaviour of the entire sector after adopting an economic-financial monitoring system.

The purpose of this study was to design and experimentally test the effectiveness of a model for the formation of lifelong learning competencies in future lawyers in higher educational institutions. The study presents the author’s vision of the structure of lifelong learning competencies for lawyers identifies pedagogical conditions for the formation of lifelong learning competencies for lawyers. It is proved that the efficiency of formation of lifelong learning competences of future lawyers is considerably increased, provided that the basic types of active teaching methods and the latest information and computer technologies are used in the process of professional training. It is established that the most important pedagogical conditions for effective formation of lifelong learning competences are pedagogically-driven motivation of future specialists in the field of the right to formation and development of lifelong learning competences; introduction of methods that promote the formation and development of lifelong learning competences into the process of professional training; formation of professional qualities in future lawyers on the basis of conscious perception of the system of universal and professional values. The authors argue that an effective link between employers and higher educational institutions is needed to collect and analyse structural and functional changes in professional activity. Establishing and maintaining such a link will enable higher educational institutions to respond more effectively to changes in the labour market requirements and to ensure a high level of training for their graduates. https://doi.org/10.26803/ijlter.19.4.9

No segundo capitulo, será abordada a relação entre secularização e cristianismo e papel a ser desempenhado por este na medição dos conflitos culturais, feita a partir da caritas, na idade da interpretação. O terceiro e último capitulo analisará o nexo entre a compreensão. O terceiro da fabulação do real, em seu núcleo niilistico, e a caracterização de um discurso ético pós-metafísico.

The results of complex investigations of solar and interplanetary large-scale magnetic fields (LSMS) are set out. A rotation of sector structures of several types of LSMF was studied analysing evolution of their primary (main) rotation periods. Accurate delimitation of species is crucial for a stable taxonomy, which provides the foundation for the study of evolutionary biology, ecology, and essentially all biological disciplines. Several approaches toward impartial and repeatable taxonomic practices are available but all existing methods have potentially unacceptable shortcomings. In particular, problems can arise when the underlying model assumptions are violated, for instance, in the presence of reduced gene flow. This is observed in the context of sex-biased dispersal, which is a common but underappreciated feature in many groups of organisms. Previously, simulations have indicated that sex-biased dispersal may lead to erroneous estimations of the true species numbers. However, this phenomenon has never been examined using empirical data. We evaluate the bias introduced by extreme female philopatry on a range of de novo [GMYC, PTP, ABGD, statistical parsimony, trinomial distribution of triplets model (tr2)] and validation (STACEY, iBPP) approaches to species delimitation in the scarab beetle genus Pachypus. Since female philopatry exhibited in this genus in particular can affect mitochondrial gene flow, we compared the results from analyses of single loci, mitochondrial loci, nuclear loci and combined data, as well as the performance of morphometric data as a secondary data source in a fully integrative Bayesian framework. Large overestimation of species numbers was observed across all analyses of combined and mitochondrial DNA data sets, suggesting specimens from nearly every sampling location as separate species. The use of nuclear data resulted in more reasonable estimations of species boundaries, which were largely supported by morphometrics of linear measurements, while geometric morphometrics of body outlines resulted in stronger splitting. Simulations of population divergence with migration, corresponding to the biology of Pachypus, showed that female philopatry strongly increases reciprocal monophyly of mitochondrial markers and may substantially contribute to over-splitting in species delimitation. Robust results recovered using nuclear DNA and morphological data nevertheless enabled us to reach novel conclusions about species boundaries in Pachypus. Our findings suggest that mitochondrial DNA will be less suited to species delimitation in many cases, in particular in the presence of sex-biased dispersal.
