A rapid method has been developed for monitoring five multiclass pesticides commonly used in citrus fruits. The determination is performed by ultra-performance liquid chromatography coupled to tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS), after extraction with a mixture of ethyl acetate and sodium sulfate. The method has been validated for orange matrix. Mean recoveries obtained were between 74 - 110% with a repeatability precision of < 7%, intermediate precision of < 10% and reproducibility precision of < 17%. Linearity over the range 0.010 - 0.150 mg/kg was demonstrated (r2 ≥ 0.99) with limits of quantification (LOQs) of ≤0.01 mg/kg. Also, an analytical study focused on the stability of pesticide residues in orange extracts under storage was performed. The method has been applied to the analysis of 365 samples from the agricultural area of the Valencian Community (Spain). Of 103 samples that contained pesticide residues, only abamectin in 2 samples and carbendazim in 5 samples slightly exceeded the European maximum residue limits (MRLs).

Investigación elaborada a partir de una estancia en la Facoltà di Lettere e filosofia de la Università degli Studi dell'Aquila entre los meses de octubre del 2006 y marzo del 2007. Engles es uno de los trovadores occitanos de los siglos XII y XIII más misteriosos i desconocidos. Ante la falta de datos históricos o documentales, la única vía que queda es intentar descubrir las posibilidades comunicativas de los textos literarios que mencionan a Engles cuando son leídos en conjunto, como parte de un mismo grupo temático en torno a este personaje enigmático. De hecho, haciendo una lectura de este tipo, resulta evidente que parte de la información que podemos deducir hoy en día de Engles pudo haber sido, en cierto modo, alterada; o, como mínimo, leída erróneamente a lo largo del tiempo. Por ello resultan contradictorias las conclusiones que se derivan de la información que existe de él. Parte del problema es que a la falta de información archivística se suma la escasez del corpus de textos relacionados con Engles; y, sin embargo, a pesar de lo escaso en números, resulta de gran interés informativo. Partiendo del estudio de algunas de estas menciones, el artículo intenta establecer un diálogo coherente entre todos los textos, buscando dilucidar quién fue el misterioso Engles. One of the most untraceable of the XIIth and XIIIth century Provençal troubadours is Engles. This paper offers new interpretations to the testimonies of his existence, bringing up to date the scarce material preserved: faced with a shortage of historical and documental data, the researcher can only try to disclose his identity through the analysis of a few literary texts considered as a whole, using up all communicative possibilities offered by this type of reading. That way, it becomes clear that part of the information we have nowadays about Engles could have been altered, or, at least, misread. That’s the reason why conclusions on Engles seem contradictory. It’s true that even the literary texts are not prodigal. Nevertheless these texts are of the greatest interest to the researcher. The paper tries to stablish a dialogue between the texts taking some of this mentions to Engles in the troubadour’s poetry as a starting point for the research. The aim is to discover who was this mysterious Engles, Occitan troubadour.
