A type of specific fractured hydrocarbon reservoir, a shale fractured reservoir, exists in the Shengli oilfield. Due to very small porosity of this type, low sensitivity to the variation of petrochemical property parameters, and strong anisotropy, it is very difficult to explore for them. So far, there is no set of mature methods for recognition of direction, distribution, and density of the fractures by an integrated analysis of geologic, geophysical, well log, drilling data, and etc. This paper presents a new method for acoustic impedance variation with azimuth (IPVA), based on existing fracture detection methods. Seismic acquisition, processing, and recognition techniques were developed for detecting directional vertical fractures using multi-azimuth P wave data in combination with the seismic and geological features of shale fractures in the Luojia area. The IPVA research is carried out for recognizing the distribution, strike, and density of fractures based on the study of velocity variation with azimuth (VVA) and amplitude variation with azimuth (AVA) for full azimuth P wave data at different CMP positions. Through practical application in the Luojia area, primary results have been obtained which verifies that the IPVA method provides good potential for quantitative detection of parallel, high angle, shale fractures.

In the Ken 71 development block, fluvial facies of the Neogene Guantao Formation and delta facies of the Paleogene Dongying Formation are the main pay beds. It is a multiple oil and water system which is complicated by faults. Characteristics of the block include a dense well network, thin reservoirs, complicated horizontal relationships, and small velocity difference between reservoir and non-reservoir. Therefore, it is difficult to conduct detailed reservoir description for subsequent development project adjustment. We demonstrate a stochastic seismic inversion which aims at detailed reservoir description. It is a technology which utilizes multiple wells, seismic data, and geological calibration and integrates with 3D structural interpretation results to build a 3D multi-fault detailed and constrained geological model. On this basis, we adopted stochastic seismic inversion to conduct a multi-stratum parameters inversion such as impedance and lithology. As a result, thin interbedded strata in the block were well resolved and the results demonstrated the importance of detailed reservoir inversion for oilfield development.

An integrated automatic system of pig feeding is presented. It includes the mechanical structure and control module. In the mechanical structure, the system is composed of supplying-screws, sending-screw, feed-tanks, buffer-tank, medicine-tank, water pump, medicine pump, feeding pumps, motors, ring distribution and control valves et al. In the control module, PLC is applied to implement centralized control of the above motors and control valves. In addition to this, monitoring software is designed based on industrial PC and C++ Builder. Take the above measures, a fully automatic pig feeding system is implemented, which can be improve the feeding efficiency and reduce the labor intensity of artificial feeding.

The electrochemical reduction of CO2 to ethylene provides a carbon-neutral avenue for the conversion of CO2 to value-added fuels and feedstocks, so contributing to the storage of intermittent renewable electricity. The exploration of efficient electrocatalysts with high ethylene selectivity and productivity is highly desirable but remains challenging. Here, we present a Cu-based catalyst derived from a metal-organic framework (Cu-MOF) which shows enhanced performance due to its porous morphology, complex oxidation states and strong lattice strain. X-ray diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and X-ray absorption spectroscopy are utilized to track the evolution of the crystal structure and oxidation states during the reaction, and the results reveal that Cu2+ ions are rapidly reduced to Cu+ and then slowly to Cu-0, resulting in a Cu@CuxO core@shell structure. The tensile strain caused by the distorted grain is beneficial for the activation of CO2. Cu+/Cu-0 interfaces formed through stabilized Cu+ facilitate *CO-CO dimerization, promoting conversion to C2+ products and suppressing conversion to C-1 products. The optimized catalyst exhibits a 51% Faraday efficiency (FE) for ethylene and a 70% FE for C2+ products, with 20 h operational stability in an H-cell configuration, and a partial ethylene current density of 150mA cm(-2) in a flow-cell configuration.
